In a series of shocking posts the night of Tuesday, Apr. 9, founder of the Dream Center and Senior Pastor of Angeles Temple Matthew Barnett revealed that the large-scale ministry which helped see the city of Los Angeles through the lockdowns of 2020 and into 2021 was denied funds by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

“We [were] just turned down funds from FEMA for [the] millions we spent during Covid feeding 5 million people for 380 days in a row because they said we didn’t partner with government programs,” Barnett’s initial post reads. “Nearly every day [the] city [of Los Angeles] asked us to help in some way. We even provided an outdoor school.”

To say that the Dream Center did not partner with government programs is disingenuous at best, and a bald-faced lie at worst.

Barnett re-shared posts from Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who encouraged people to travel to the Dream Center for free meals for Los Angeles Unified School District students, putting to rest FEMA’s claims that the massive outreach ministry had not done so in conjunction with multiple government organizations.

“Attention Angeleno students and families: Starting today, The Dream Center will provide free meals to LA Unified School District students for the next two weeks while schools remain closed,” the post starts.

As time went by, that two weeks stretched far longer than originally planned.

Now, the federal government under Joe Biden’s administration is refusing to assist the ministry that helped the people when the government failed to do so.

Barnett shared that he believes this is due to a bias against the ministry compounded by outrageous cost-of-living in the city brought about by bad policy from city leaders.

“I’m frustrated. We won’t quit. We’ll go as far as we can go but due to unfavorable bias towards us my family is living paycheck to paycheck maxing out our cards to pay the staff. All because of the ridiculous cost of everything in LA and being cut off from so many opportunities,” Barnett says in a follow-up post.

In response to a comment encouraging Barnett to take legal action against FEMA, he wrote “The biggest relief work done in LA history during [the] pandemic being discriminated against. It’s criminal the discrimination.”

This is a sad reality for Christian ministries in America today, especially in deep-blue regions like Los Angeles.

It doesn’t matter if you are a cessationist or a continualist, a Catholic or charismatic, the actions of the federal government in recent years have demonstrated beyond any shadow of a doubt that Christian beliefs are not welcome in the new America they are hoping to create.

If you declare the name of Jesus, you are a target.

But it is in the darkest of times when the light of Jesus shines brightest. For all the attempts to snuff out His mighty name, the devil is unable to do so. During these times of discrimination and persecution, the Church must step up and be the force for good that Jesus designed her to be, just as the Dream Center has been doing for decades now.

Feed the poor, support and love the needy and downtrodden, proclaim the goodness and salvation found in Jesus Christ, and in doing this God will provide for all of our needs.

When we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and mind, we will obey His commandments and put these practices into action. In the meantime, Christians have legal roads they are able to take in times of persecution in America, but for how long those options are available, time will tell.

With a focus on end times events on the minds of many people, there are many making false claims about red heifers and their significance in hopes of growing social media following.

Evangelist Perry Stone recently warned that those who follow the advice of online commentators regarding the matter of the red heifers may be receiving incorrect information.

“Yes, I told folks 40 years ago about the significance of the red heifer [t]hat has stirred people up,” Stone says, holding an old cassette recorded at one of his revival meetings in the 1980s which he says holds the recording of his message on the bovines.

“The reason I’m sharing this with you is there is so much absolute speculation and misinformation on this subject that I felt like someone who had the knowledge of 40 years should come and say several things to you,” he continues.

During the times when Stone was first sharing about the red heifers, he was instead met with derision and rebuked for pointing to the biblical importance of the red heifer.

“I remember being mocked and ridiculed and criticized for it because I was telling people that in the Tribulation there would be a temple built, Matthew 24 2; Thessalonians 2; Revelation 11; and I personally believe that the two witnesses will be a part of the rebuilding process. But I told them that it would require a ceremonial purification, or the water purification, to sanctify any kind of furniture or the temple itself based on the laws of the Torah specifically Numbers chapter 19. And in Numbers 19 it gives you the entire process of the burning of a red heifer.”

Now, as time has shown, people are realizing he was right.

Stone warns those following the story that this is not a sacrifice that is going to happen overnight. In fact, there is a long list of things that must be attained and completed for the ceremony to take place, the main part being that the red heifer must remain unblemished until it is three-and-a-half years old. Then, and only then, would it be ready for the sacrifice ceremony.

Even when the ashes of the red heifer are collected, the temple isn’t going to just appear, Stone says.

“I have heard some of the most ludicrous, ridiculous ideas on the rebuilding of a temple that you’ve ever heard in your life, and again, these are people call themselves YouTube influencers, and what they really are, are people that just jump on the bandwagon when something is hot trying to get their viewership up. But they don’t have the research or the proper research connected to it,” says Stone.

“Let me make it very clear, even if one [red heifer] were found, and one were burnt, it does not mean the immediate building of the Temple,” Stone cautions.

“So be careful who you listen to. Be careful of all the sensationalism, and anytime something big happens or there’s some kind of a new news story, there’s always a little bit of sensationalism. You know, a self-acclaimed prophet has this great prophetic word or whatever, and really, these are a lot of people that in my personal opinion, and I’m saying this sincerely, are trying to simply get a channel built or trying to build up a channel by using, a lot of times, other people’s information and talking about it.”

So while it is a topic of interest in the study of eschatology and understanding the importance of the times that we live in, ensure that when watching videos online, you keep biblical discernment a part of your thought-making process. We live in an age of deception, and Satan would like nothing more than to sow confusion and fear into people when the Word of God offers life and peace.

In what has become a pleasant surprise to many, the Vatican has released a document over five years in the making titled “Dignitas Infinita,” which is Latin for “Infinite Dignity.” The document denounces the practice of transgender surgeries, gender theory and surrogacy, labelling them, according to Fox News, as “affronts to human dignity.”

“The Church sees the condemnation of these grave and current violations of human dignity as a necessary measure, for she sustains the deep conviction that we cannot separate faith from the defense of human dignity, evangelization from the promotion of a dignified life, and spirituality from a commitment to the dignity of every human being,” the authors wrote, explaining their reasoning and convictions behind addressing modern-day affronts to human dignity.

“In the light of Revelation, the Church resolutely reiterates and confirms the ontological dignity of the human person, created in the image and likeness of God and redeemed in Jesus Christ,” the document continues.

While many critics have argued that the Pope is personally a left-wing figurehead that has caused damage to the Catholic Church, many such as the incorrigible Catholic commentator of The Daily Wire, Michael Knowles, gave his approval through a post on X with the thumbs up, Latin cross and flag of Vatican City emoji’s.

There were several other topics addressed within the document, viewed as “Grave Violations of Human Dignity,” to include: murder; genocide; abortion; euthanasia; willful suicide; mutilation; subhuman living conditions; arbitrary imprisonment; deportation; slavery;
prostitution; the selling of women and children; and degrading working conditions where individuals are treated as
mere tools for profit rather than free and responsible persons, are all listed as “offenses to human dignity.”

Several responses from commentators online such as Daily Wire correspondent Bree A Dail, which was in turn reposted by pro-life advocate Allie Beth Stuckey, have helped shed light on the devastating impact that surrogacy can have on children who have no mother figure in their life.

“The Church also takes a stand against the practice of surrogacy, through which the immensely worthy child becomes a mere object,” states the document.

“First and foremost, the practice of surrogacy violates the dignity of the child. Indeed, every child possesses an intangible dignity that is clearly expressed—albeit in a unique and differentiated way—at every stage of his or her life: from the moment of conception, at birth, growing up as a boy or girl, and becoming an adult,” the writing continues. “Because of this unalienable dignity, the child has the right to have a fully human (and not artificially induced) origin and to receive the gift of a life that manifests both the dignity of the giver and that of the receiver.

“Moreover, acknowledging the dignity of the human person also entails recognizing every dimension of the dignity of the conjugal union and of human procreation. Considering this, the legitimate desire to have a child cannot be transformed into a ‘right to a child’ that fails to respect the dignity of that child as the recipient of the gift of life,” the statement continues.

As the document continues, it becomes increasingly difficult for many Catholics, such as Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, to justify their extreme pro-abortion stances while claiming to be people of faith that abide by the tenets of the Catholic Church: which condemns abortion and quotes Pope John Paul II saying, “Among all the crimes which can be committed against life, procured abortion has characteristics making it particularly serious and deplorable.”

People do not have to be practitioners of the Catholic faith to stand by the declarations of adhering to the designs of God and the dignity that Jesus Christ showed to the poor and downtrodden. When we abide by the commands granted to us in the Bible, we not only ensure dignity for those around us, but we also demonstrate biblical obedience and submission to the Lord, visible for all the world to see.

When an Israeli airstrike hit an Iranian compound in Damascus, Syria, on Monday, killing seven high-level military officers, the world knew Israel is willing to escalate its fight to preserve the nation’s survival.

As Iran continues backing proxy groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah to conduct warfare against Israel, they have now put the world on high alert, as a retaliatory attack is expected to be imminent.

Over three months ago however, Nephilim expert L.A. Marzulli spoke with Charisma News and warned viewers that according to the Word of God, things might very well escalate to biblical proportions involving the city of Damascus.

“When you look at the the prophetic pulse of what’s going on in the Middle East, the possibility of Psalm 83, the destruction of Damascus, you know if Israel goes up and destroys Damascus, all hell’s going to break loose,” says Marzulli.

Why would Israel have a reason to attack Damascus, Syria when it is fighting a war against Hamas, Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed proxy groups, and let’s face it, with Iran, just not in conventional terms?

Because, as the Al-Jazeera network reports, there is a heavy presence of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps concentrated in the city.

Marzulli points to the biblical prophecy in Ezekiel 38, and should this be the time we’re now living in, for Israel to destroy the city, forces from the East will move in to attack Israel.

“The people aren’t just going to sit by,” explains Marzulli. “So now, that leads to Ezekiel 38. There’s not an Arab in the bunch. That’s where Russia and Turkey and the Scythians come in, and that’s Afghanistan and Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. That’s all coming in from the East. I mean … that’s crazy! Turkey’s got one of the largest standing armies in the area. They’ve got an air force. They are well equipped. They’ve got boots on the ground. This isn’t Hezbollah or Hamas, it’s a whole different deal.”

It is no secret that Turkey is no friend to Israel.

According to The Times of Israel, “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Israel on Wednesday [Dec. 6, 2023] that Israel would ‘pay a very heavy price’ if it attempted to eliminate Hamas members in Turkey.”

Well, Israel just proved with the recent airstrike on Damascus that they are willing to cross international borders to eliminate their enemies who would see them destroyed.

“They do not know the Turks. They don’t know us… If they commit such a mistake, they should know that they will pay a very heavy price for it,” Erdogan continued.

This warning goes hand in hand with what Marzulli says of the situation, minus one extremely significant aspect: the power of God and His hand of protection over Israel.

“We know from Ezekiel 38 that God Himself shows up,” he says. “So this is different, but then you plug in the threat of nukes which you got going between Ukraine and Russia, and then you plug in on top of that the whole UFO thing which is the game changer.”

“This is the coming Great Deception,” Marzulli says.

“If Hezbollah starts firing rockets on Tel Aviv, they’re going to go after Damascus,” he adds. “They’ve already told the Iranians, ‘You do this, we’re going to destroy Damascus.’ That’s Isaiah 17, ‘Damascus has become a ruinous heap.’ So then you’ve got Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, which leads to the Ezekiel 38 war. The question is: Does the church go up before Ezekiel 38 war or during or after? And we don’t know. There’s difference of opinions, so we don’t know.”

That, explains Marzulli, is why we wait and listen and watch, just as Jesus instructed His followers to do. No one wants to be one of the virgins who runs out of oil and misses the wedding of the bridegroom.

In a recent interview with Charisma News, Phil Hotsenpiller, senior pastor of Influence Church in Anaheim Hills, California, delved into the complex and prophetic significance of the red heifer sacrifice. Offering insights rooted in Scripture and contemporary events, Hotsenpiller shed light on various facets surrounding this ancient ritual which has struck fear in the hearts of many.

With millions, if not billions, of people paying great attention to the war raging between Israel and Iranian proxy groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, there are those who do not understand why people care whatsoever about these red heifers flown from Texas to an undisclosed location in Shiloh.

“In most people’s minds … it doesn’t even seem relevant, and yet it’s so relevant for end times,” explains Hotsenpiller.

“After the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D., basically, the red heifer disappeared,” he says. “It was an anomaly of nature, and there was no reason for it because there was no temple. And so when you begin to study … if they don’t have a temple, they don’t need the red heifer. But now they found the red heifer.”

The initial announcement of the red heifers did not cause as much of a worldwide stir as the animals are now causing, but there were certainly those who paid attention even then.

One group who paid close attention to the announcement was the terrorist organization Hamas, whose spokesman specifically mentioned the “red cows” as one of the reasons behind the horrific massacre against Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

“The words from Hamas fighters saying that part of the reason for the attack was, they call them the red cows, because they know what that means,” Hotsenpiller says. “That means that they’re [Israel] going to rebuild the temple, that means … the Dome of the Rock has to be removed, the [Al-Aqsa] Mosque has to be removed off the Temple Mount. And so this is war for them. This is the real deal.”

Such an endeavor would almost certainly draw the entire Muslim world into conflict with Israel. Riots and protests would erupt worldwide should Israel remove what is considered the third holiest place in Islam: the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

If there were ever an event that would unify the Sunni and Shia Muslims, it might very well be this.

“Jesus said, there will be wars and rumors of wars,” says Hotsenpiller. “Some of them, however, are tied to prophecy. So if we look at the Dome of the Rock [which] has to be moved, and I believe it does for the temple to be rebuilt, then how do we get rid of it? Well, we go to a prophetic event … and that’s Ezekiel 38 and 39. This is the invasion by some nations against Israel.”

As many events are happening that appear to have end-times significance, be it the upcoming eclipse, the red heifers or war in the Middle East and Ukraine, Hotsenpiller reminds listeners that God is in control no matter what is taking place on the earth today.

“I think we make our problems bigger than our God. Do we think somehow that the eclipse or do we think that the movement of a despotic ruler in the world or a nuclear attack is bigger than God?” he asks. “Are we going to trust in God or are we going to trust in the circumstances that surround us?”

“If I have courage, then I don’t worry about my future,” Hotsenpiller adds. “If I have courage, I don’t worry about my job. If I have courage, I don’t worry about what I say and don’t say, who I’m going to offend or anything else. I just live with courage. And courage is foundational for everything we do. And it’s really the other side of the coin of faith. They work hand in hand together.”{eoa}

Paganism is continuing to infiltrate institutions across America, none more so than the education system across the country.

Recently, troubling reports emerged from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, sparking concern about the encroachment of pagan rituals within academic spaces.

As reported by Fox News, “The UCLA Jewish Faculty Resilience Group spoke to numerous witnesses from the lecture and penned a letter to the administration Friday, calling for an ‘urgent and thorough external review’ of its curriculum to put an end to ‘political indoctrination.'”

According to multiple witnesses, an invited speaker led students in a ritualistic prayer, urging them to physically connect with the earth while invoking pagan deities. This prompted some of the students to express deep discomfort and offense at what they perceived as idolatrous worship.

One anonymous witness shared their dismay, emphasizing their discomfort with the speaker’s invocation to “spirits” and the demand to prostrate before pagan entities.

“I was very deeply offended and disgusted,” the witness says. “She starts with like ‘Thank you, creator. Thank you for this day of life.’ And then she starts praying to like the spirit’s mom and stuff. It was crazy.”

The JFRG’s letter also alleges that the invited speaker voiced chants in support of Palestine, prompting accusations of antisemitism from the professors.

In America today, we are increasingly confronted with overt displays of paganism that seek to draw this nation further away from God. During these times, we must exercise discernment and rely on biblical wisdom to guide us through these dark days.

The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Thus, engaging in spiritual warfare against the paganism plaguing our land today requires a deep-rooted understanding of God’s Word and a commitment to prayerful discernment.

Christians must not only resist the influence of pagan ideologies but also actively engage in proclaiming the truth of the gospel. In 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, Paul encourages believers to “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” This necessitates a proactive stance in confronting paganism with the light of Christ, offering a counternarrative rooted in the transformative power of the gospel.

By embodying the principles of love, truth and righteousness, Christians can effectively combat paganism in America, shining as beacons of hope in a world darkened by spiritual deception.

Amid worldwide speculation about the ceremony of the red heifer, the Temple Institute may have found the young man who will lead the ceremony.

The kohen (Hebrew for priest) was shown in a picture posted to Facebook looking over the red heifers in their secret location in Shiloh.

“A KOHEN FIT TO PERFORM THE RED HEIFER CEREMONY!” the post starts.

“The young kohen in the photo visiting the red heifer candidates in Shiloh, is fit to perform the red heifer ceremony.”

The Temple Institute notes that the young man, who remains unnamed in the post, possibly for security reasons, has met the highest level of requirements for purity according to the Torah. He was born at home, according to the Temple Institute, and has never been inside of a hospital, “having never contracted tum’at met (impurity imparted by contact with a corpse).”

In regard to the performing of the red heifer sacrifice, the post alludes to the possibility that the Temple Institute has offered this young kohen the opportunity to lead the ceremony, or at least to participate in it.

“Should he opt to participate in the Temple Institute’s ongoing preparations in anticipation of the renewal of the ashes of the red heifer, he will undergo intense instruction and training,” the post concludes.

While there have been varying reports about when the sacrifice is set to take place, no one knows the date of this ceremony that has caught the attention of the world.

What is known by the sheer volume of attention the red heifers are receiving is that many Jews are waiting in anticipation for the ceremony they believe will purify them before Yahweh and live in obedience to His commands of purification. Meanwhile, many Christians and Muslims believe this ceremony is a prophetic event that will be another sign of the end times and the days of the Antichrist, or the man of evil in Islam, Dajjal.

Early Wednesday morning, Taiwan experienced the strongest earthquake to hit the island nation in 25 years.

To date, there have been nine deaths, over 900 injured, an unknown number of people missing or trapped and multiple buildings collapsed in the aftermath of the magnitude quake that rocked the city of Hualien along the eastern coast.

“At present the most important thing, the top priority, is to rescue people,” says President-elect Lai Ching-te.

The massive event sent shock waves throughout the South Pacific, literally and figuratively, as a tsunami warning was issued for Japan and the Philippines but has since been lifted.

As reported by Reuters, “Japan was rocked by its deadliest quake in eight years on New Year’s Day when a 7.6 magnitude temblor struck in Ishikawa prefecture, on the western coast. More than 230 people died in the quake that left 44,000 homes fully or partially destroyed.”

Now two 7.0+ earthquakes have hit the area in the first four months of 2024.

According to the electricity provider Taipower, much of the power that was knocked out has been restored, and thankfully, the two nuclear power plants on the island were not affected by the quakes.

Reports from the Japanese weather agency who detected the quake recorded the magnitude as high as 7.7, while the state media in China reported that the quake was felt as far as the province of Fujian.

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows,” (Matt. 24:6-8).

Jesus says these words to His disciples as the beginning of the end times. This is not to say any one event taking place right now is the starting point of the Great Tribulation, but Jesus tells His followers time and again, in parable and plainly, to watch for the signs. We must pay attention to what is happening in the world around us and ensure that our hearts are prepared for the day He returns.

In the meantime, we are called to action. To pray and provide care to those affected by such tragedies in ways that we are able. Anyone and everyone can pray and fast, while others are able to assist financially. We are called to be salt to the world and beacons of the love of Jesus Christ. While using biblical discernment for the times we are living in, we can show the world that there is power in the mighty blood of Jesus, shining a light in the growing darkness.

This April is chock-full of extraordinary events taking place in a short amount of time.

Some are viewed as prophetic warnings foretelling God’s judgment, while others are so bizarre and rare it’s hard to say their timing is a coincidence.

In their ongoing search for dark matter (or as some believe, opening portals into supernatural dimensions), the scientists in Switzerland at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN, are switching on the world’s most powerful particle accelerator, and in a recent video posted to YouTube, Jim Staley of Passion for Truth Ministries has some interesting things to say about it.

“A large portion of CERN is located in the territory of Saint Genis Pouilly,” says Staley. “In Roman times it was called Apolliacum. The town and a temple were dedicated to Apollyon—the destroyer (Shiva/Horus).

“They tell you it’s all for scientific research,” he explains. “No, they’re looking for the God particle. They want to know what’s holding the universe together, and ultimately, they’re trying to get into time travel. They want to open up the curtain of what is behind our dimension and get into the multiverse. This is what they’re after.”

NASA Will Fire 3 Rockets Named After an Egyptian God at the Eclipse

We’re at a point in time where real events are so absurd and bizarre that no one would have the imagination to make something like them up.

As the Great American Eclipse is set to take place, NASA will conduct project Atmospheric Perturbations Around The Eclipse Path (APEP). The acronym aligns with the name of the ancient Egyptian serpent god.

“Why in the world would they have to name this mission after an Egyptian god called Apep, which is the nemesis of Ra, the sun god?” Staley asks. “This is the god of destruction and chaos and darkness. So they name this mission after the god of darkness that swallows up Ra the solar god.”

That’s two references to gods of destruction occurring on the same day. Some may say it’s a coincidence; others would say there is no such thing.

The Great American Eclipse of 2024

This is the event that has many rushing to see, with over 1 million people expected to travel to places in the path of the eclipse.

What has drawn the eye of many is that the path of the eclipse forms an X or an aleph over the New Madrid Fault line.

“The last time that we had a comet … with its two solar eclipses that formed an X over the United States was in 1811, and three months later was the largest continental earthquake in the history of the United States,” Staley says. “So large [that] it caused the it caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards and the Liberty Bell rang on the East Coast. This is a serious, serious thing that’s happening.”

While there are a multitude of signs and biblical reasons that may indicate this is a sign from God for the repentance of the nation, this will not bring about the end of the world as many have feared and wondered.

Planets Align During Solar Eclipse

With all of the hype surrounding the Great American Eclipse, few have discussed this rare celestial event. But on April 8, end-times expert Michael Snyder shared about this occurrence, in which “Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Mars along with the Sun and the Moon all line up through Pisces looking from Jerusalem to the east.”

According to the sky-watching site Starwalk, on April 8 “when it gets dark during the day, you’ll also see all the planets aligned in the sky! Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus will be lined up along with the eclipsed Sun.”

A full daytime alignment of planets visible from the U.S. at the same time as the total solar eclipse? The odds of that being a natural coincidence certainly seem astronomically low.

The ‘Cicadapocalypse’ Is Coming

For those who have endured the loud—and often irritating—buzzing of the cicadas when they come up from the ground to mate, this April will see two different broods, the 13-year and 17-year, arise at the same time.

“Billions, even trillions, of cicadas are going to emerge at the same time across 17 states,” Chris Simon, a professor in the University of Connecticut’s Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, told Live Science, according to The U.S. Sun.

That is a lot of cicadas.

What stands out about this event is its rarity. It is reported that the last time the two broods came out at the same time was 221 years ago.

People don’t need to run around thinking every single event taking place on Earth is a sign of doom. But as Christians we are called to watch, to be aware and to pay attention to the signs of the times.

So while these extraordinary events take place, try viewing them from a biblical lens. Take time to read through Scripture and see how they line up with the past and if the Lord puts anything on your heart during this exciting season.{eoa}

This past Resurrection Sunday saw no shortage of attacks from Satan targeting the victory Jesus claimed over sin and death.

From nearly every leader in the Biden administration celebrating “Transgender Day of Visibility” to protests in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, spiritual warfare was at the forefront of this year’s Easter celebration.

Few were as blatant and as bold as what Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church woke up to on Sunday morning.

Reporting his findings in a Facebook post, Locke shared that his church’s security cameras had captured a man targeting his church and setting hundreds of Bibles ablaze:

“This morning at 6:00AM our security cameras caught a man dropping off a trailer in the middle of the intersection and blocking the road into our church. He then got out and set fire to an entire trailer full of Bibles right in front of our church.”

These attacks on God in America and around the world have become more and more blatant, thanks in part to leadership that does not hold those committing such acts accountable.

Thankfully, Locke reported that there was someone waiting at the church for the service to start who had driven a considerable distance, and thanks to her presence, police were notified quickly of the hate crime:

“There was a lady that had driven through the night to get to our church and she was in the parking lot and was able to get the police officers here quickly, but it was quite the scene to wake up to on my first morning back from Israel.”

The Wilson County Sheriff’s office reported that they believe the trailer full of Bibles was “intentionally set on fire.”

“To uphold the integrity of the ongoing investigation, other specific details cannot be provided at this time. However, we assure the community that further updates will be shared at the appropriate juncture,” the department said in a statement. “We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of the community during this period. The safety and security of our residents remain our utmost priority.”

But this is not the time for Christians to shy away from the spiritual attacks targeting them in America. No. This is the time to stand up firmly on the Word of God and resist the devil and his minions so that they may flee from us.

A Christian’s fight is with the “principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places” (Eph. 6:12), and it is past time we take up the full armor of God and take the fight to the devil.

Join with one another in prayer, fasting and sharing of the gospel message. It is clear Satan does not want the knowledge of Jesus’ victory over the grave to get out, so we must shout it out to the masses even louder.{eoa}
