When Your Child Says They See Demons, Take Them Seriously

For many parents, the topic of seeing demons often is chalked up to a wild imagination and not a spiritual attack.

And sometimes kid’s imaginations do get the better of them; they are children, after all.

In a recent video, the YouTube channel “Jesse Speaks” shared a video of a mother’s personal experience as a child being tormented by demons, and that her own daughter had such terrifying experiences as well.

Unlike her parents, whom she deemed “lukewarm Christians,” this mother knows the power in the name of Jesus.

“When your children come to you and say they are seeing monsters in their bedroom at night, believe them,” the unnamed mother implores.

As many within the Christian church, and the world, have abandoned the belief in the spiritual realm and the warfare that takes place within it, they have unwittingly opened the doors for spiritual and demonic oppression in their lives.

How? Because they don’t teach what the Bible says about demons, spiritual warfare and our power over them.

“My parents were lukewarm Christians. We talked about Jesus every now and then, but it wasn’t a big topic of conversation. And so as a child, I saw demons,” she continues. “And there were several times in the middle of the night that they would threaten me and they would try to attack me.”

Jesus believed in spiritual warfare and deliverance from the demonic, evident in the Gospels. So why would Christians today dismiss this topic of discussion as preposterous or simply view it as irrelevant, if they even view it as a topic of discussion at all?

“People will discount the spiritual realm. They’ll lock it [away]. So when I took these things to my mom, she didn’t believe me,” shares the mother. “She actually ended up taking me to a therapist, and she asked me what I was seeing. When I told her, she looked at me and she says, ‘No, you don’t see these things.’

“I didn’t feel safe in sharing it with anyone.”

Having these types of negative experiences as a child can keep the spiritual door open not only for parents to be terrorized by demons, but for their children as well. Because there has been no warfare against the enemy attacking them, and without any resistance or pleading of the name of Jesus, the enemy will keep attacking over and over again.

“My daughter is a strong seer in the spiritual realm. She started to see similar things to what I had seen as a child,” she continues. “So I taught her ‘Go! In the name of Jesus.’ She started to understand her authority and walk in it [to] some point now where it doesn’t happen anymore.

“[Parents], please teach your children the power of the name [of Jesus].”

When parents train up their children in the Lord, they will be equipped to fight the spiritual battle that the Bible teaches us is very real. This will require diligence on the parent’s part, but by doing so, our children are exposed to the power of the name of Jesus Christ.

Greg Locke: You Better Get Back on God’s Side

The world is in such turmoil at the moment, it is easy to get caught up in it and get swept away by the deception spreading across the globe.

Locke made his stance known to any who doubted where he stands when it comes to Israel, and that the church is in danger of reaping God’s curse and judgment upon itself.

All because people have forgotten about the Abrahamic Covenant.

The Lord God entered into a covenant promise with the first patriarch, Abraham, in Genesis 12 which reads, “Go from your country, your family, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless them who bless you and curse him who curses you, and in you all families of the earth will be blessed.”

Meanwhile, the replacement theory that the Christian church has somehow taken over God’s promises from the Israelite people has infected Christendom and led people into cursing national Israel, essentially sealing their fate.

“The last days division in the ‘Church’ will be between those that unflinchingly stand and support Israel and those who are so woke and non-discerning that they stand with media-infused Palestinian oppression,” Locke wrote in a Facebook post.

“The closer we get to the return of the LORD, the more Israel will be fiercely hated. It’s a fact! It’s a Biblical promise! True followers of Jesus, will do what Jesus taught us to do….STAND WITH ISRAEL. God has not cast off His people, but the lukewarm and weak Church will do just that,” he continued.

Speaking with Charisma Media in an exclusive interview, Locke listed three key reasons why so many have turned against Israel, and opened themselves up to demonic deception:

  1. “They’re ignorant of Bible history and prophecy.”
  2. “They care far too much about what Twitter is telling them,” which is, “really bogus nonsense.”
  3. “They’ve never made a trip to Israel, and they have no idea what they’re talking about.”

Locke points out a particularly interesting take that many anti-Israel rioters have made. They accuse Israel of being “colonizers” and “occupiers.”

But let’s use leftist logic for a second. If European-centric colonialism is bad, then the region of Palestine is in and of itself bad. Syria Palaestina, also known as Roman Palestine, was a Roman province. Prior to this the land was the kingdoms of Judah and Israel. So by the anti-Israel lobby’s own incorrect methodology, wouldn’t that make Palestine and Hamas the oppressors and colonizers from the European (Roman) overlords?

“Everything we have from God has a Jewish fingerprint on it. A Jewish Bible, a Jewish Savior, Jesus is not going to come back to Washington, D.C., he’s coming back in the Mount of Olives,” Locke says.

“He’s not going to recreate a new Washington or a new Tennessee, He’s going to make a new Jerusalem.”

Could the Prophetic Ezekiel Alliance Be Emerging?

Wars and rumors of war. Apostasy. Earthquakes. Famine. Pestilence.

All these things and many others are listed as signs before the return of Jesus Christ.

But before the King of kings makes His return, events on earth must first take place and systems must be set up to prepare the way for the reign of the Antichrist, as short as it will be.

The world is currently lacking strong leadership out of Washington D.C., and conflict is erupting in places that hold significant biblical importance during the end times.

One such place is Sudan.

The African nation has known war and turmoil for a long time, and is in the throws of another civil war seeing numbers of dead, displaced and in need of humanitarian assistance on a scale the Hamas-Israel war could never match.

But few are paying close attention to what is taking place within the country that many believe is a part of the nation of Ethiopia, and is mentioned in the book of Ezekiel as the nation covered much more land than its modern-day counterpart.

Within the turmoil of Sudan lies the terrorist nation of Iran.

As Peter Hoekstra from the Gatestone Institute wrote, “Pocketing Sudan would provide Iran with more oil, gold and rare minerals, as well as another port on the Red Sea from which to continue blocking maritime commercial passage. Sudan would also provide Iran with proximity to Israel, and serve as an additional launching pad from which to swarm Israel with more lethal drone attacks – at least until its nuclear weapons program is complete.”

Who out there is stopping Iran from bringing the war-torn nation into its fold of proxies? The United States? China? Russia? The E.U.?

The Sudanese government? They are currently embroiled in a chaotic civil war and are a known sponsor of terror who may in fact welcome Iran with open arms.

Areej Ehlhad of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy wrote on the Sudanese regime:

“What makes the future in this case darker is Sudan’s history of hosting extremists and jihadists from the far right and far left. During the previous regime, Sudan hosted Osama bin Laden, leader of Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and Carlos the Jackal. This warm embrace of violent extremists earned Sudan a spot on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.”

Israel is currently engaged in military conflict with both Hamas and Hezbollah, so it is not a far stretch of the imagination for Sudan to join in an expanded conflict with Iranian proxy groups. But there would have to be reassurances of support from a larger player, like Russia.

For the war of Gog and Magog to take place, the pieces must be put together.

Here are the listed participants of that war:

  • Magog
  • Rosh
  • Meshek and Tubal
  • Persia
  • Ethiopia
  • Libya
  • Gomer
  • Togarmah

What Does Success in Ministry Look Like?

The Bible has a lot of things to say when it comes to success, and it all points to one thing: humility before the Lord.

Commit your work to the Lord, delight yourself in the Lord, keep God’s commandments, humble ourselves before the Lord. All of these commands will reveal God’s blessing to us, but what does actual success look like?

As the Word of God says, man looks at the outside appearance, while God looks at the heart. So we don’t need an expensive suit, fast car or mansion to be successful in God’s eyes, because He wants our obedience and reverence.

After 50 years in ministry, Benny Hinn has experienced a wide spectrum of success and failures in ministry. He recently shared with Charisma Media founder Stephen Strang on the Strang Report podcast what success in ministry looks like to him.

“Jesus,” Hinn says. “If Jesus is glorified, that’s success. Because His presence in our life is what brings results to the kingdom.

“This is why souls are saved. Bodies are healed. Lives are changed. Where He is, there is liberty in you and through you,” he adds.

It has become apparent that in America, the sign of a “successful” church is one that holds sermons in a massive auditorium and has a large congregation. But this is what man looks at, from the outside.

While there is nothing wrong with having a large church in and of itself, it is the focus on what success looks like in numbers that has been skewed in America today.

Take the Asbury Awakening that occurred in February of 2023. This outpouring of God’s Spirit took place in an unassuming college chapel and was led by students. No celebrity speakers, no grandiose events, just a collective of college students who had hearts for the Lord.

Does this mean that the Lord doesn’t move in larger churches? Certainly not, just look at the revival services held by Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia, led by Pastor Jentezen Franklin and Evangelist Perry Stone in October and November of 2023.

What started as a Sunday morning sermon turned into two weeks of altar calls, salvations and repentance.

This is what the Lord wants, our hearts. He wants us to die to ourselves and put Him first, and by doing so, we will live a successful life in ministry according to His guidelines, not the world’s.

“And that, I think, is what success is. It’s not about numbers and crowds and money and all that,” Hinn says. “It’s about the Lord in someone’s life. What more can we ask for? He is all in all to us.”

Embattled Pastor Tries Resurrecting Dead Wife

If you are in crisis, please call 988 or visit . You are not alone.

The story behind Mica Miller’s recent death is a tragic one, and resulted in a life lost far too soon.

Amid the wave of theories, speculations and accusations levelled against her husband, Pastor John-Paul Miller of Solid Rock at Market Common in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Miller’s behavior can be described as erratic at best.

While the couple was in the process of separating, Mica Miller had filed for three “separate support and maintenance” requests within the last year. John-Paul still delivered a eulogy during a May 5 memorial service.

Authorities have determined Mica committed suicide with a handgun purchased the morning of her death.

During the eulogy, Miller admitted to trying to raise Mica from the dead.

“As Christians, of course we know she’s not here. [She’s] in heaven, worshipping and enjoying and probably hasn’t had time to look down here yet,” Miller said.

“But I’ve been down to the body about four times this week and each time it still didn’t hit me,” he continued. “I thought she was gonna wake up. I even tried to raise her from the dead one time this week.”

Many however doubt Miller’s sincerity of grief, as the couple had a troubled past, and before authorities determined Mica’s death as a suicide, believed John-Paul was directly responsible for the death.

However, records now show that Mica called law enforcement on the afternoon she died, or as some believe pushed to do amid her ongoing marital problems, so that they would know where to find her body.

“Tell me what happened,” says a dispatcher.

“I’m about to kill myself, and I just want my family to know where to find me,” Mica is heard responding to the dispatcher.

As reported by Fox News, “Robeson County Sheriff’s Office investigators also determined that John-Paul ‘and a female that he is allegedly romantically involved with’ were not in Robeson County at the time of Mica’s death.

“Investigators learned through interviews that John Paul Miller was at an athletic event in Charleston on the day of Mica Miller’s death. Miller’s vehicle was observed traveling on Hwy 17 Bypass, in Horry County at 2:22 p.m. on Apr. 27, 2024,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release. “The investigation confirmed that John Miller was accompanied while traveling to and from the event in Charleston, SC.”

By his own admission, John-Paul Miller had an addiction to prostitutes amid multiple other allegations by his first wife, and, as reported by News Nation, posted nude images of Mica online during their divorce proceedings.

Can Christians Lose Their Anointing?

Have you ever been in a situation that you knew just did not feel right in your heart, in your soul, and you knew you should just leave it but instead did nothing and entertained the flesh?

Do these moments of weakness cause Christians to lose the consecration the Lord anointed over their lives when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are washed clean by His blood?

“I was not too wise a number of times with prophecy,” Hinn says.

It was in these errors that Hinn admitted to bringing harm to himself and others by offering up such statements.

“Their prophecies were not really a prophecy. They went outside the borders of redemption,” Hinn says. “There were times when I thought God had showed me something that He wasn’t showing me. And I spoke it out.”

Hinn is no stranger to the study of God’s anointing within the text of the Bible. He even wrote a book about it called “Mysteries of the Anointing” and came to the conclusion that, yes, a Christian can lose the anointing God has over their life.

These are the six ways Hinn found that the anointing can leave the life of a Christian:

  1. Entertaining the Demonic. How do they entertain the demonic? They allow demonic things into their lives, like Achan in Joshua 7, who took some kind of a demonic image and hid it in his tent in direct violation of what God had instructed.
  2. Allowing the Flesh to Pollute It. God says in Exodus 30:32, “Upon man’s flesh shall [the oil of the anointing] be poured.” He is saying, “Do not let the flesh interfere. Do not let your carnal nature and the world get in there.”
  3. Allowing the Anointing to be Imitated, Borrowed or Stolen. The anointing on you for your ministry or office is the only anointing you can release. You cannot release the anointing inside you, the abiding anointing. You can only release the one on you, the empowering anointing. Releasing it to the right people is the key because this anointing weakens when you release it to undeserving individuals.
  4. Allowing the Wrong People to Get Close to You. The people you allow to be close can fight God’s plan for you and weaken the empowering anointing on your ministry. If you have people on staff in wrong positions or promote them to positions God has not called them to, it can cause division and hinder the anointing God put on your ministry or office.
  5. Controlling Spirits. In 3 John 1:9, John warned the church about a controlling man named Diotrephes, who wanted preeminence. He was trying to control peoples’ lives with his religious spirit. If you let someone around you with a religious spirit, they will weaken or kill what God has given you.
  6. Other People’s Sin. If the wrong people touch you, they will weaken the anointing on you. It says in 1 Timothy 5:22, “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.” So do not lay hands on them—and do not even let them touch you lest you partake of their sin and impurities. Protect yourself from the danger, the witchcraft and the demonic they bring with them.

Thankfully, for all of us, there is redemption in Jesus Christ. No man or woman, either Christian or otherwise, is beyond Jesus’ grasp.

There are times and seasons of correction, repentance and renewal, but according to the words of Paul in Romans 11:29, we do not lose the calling God has for us, “For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.”

Vatican Braces for Surge in ‘Supernatural’ Events

People have got to wonder what is in store for humanity as the home to the world’s most powerful religious organization, the Vatican, is preparing new guidelines on how to deal with supernatural phenomena.

It’s almost like a clue as to what is expected to happen in the near future.

As reported by Fox News, “The Holy See Press Office announced the upcoming document will be published May 17 with a live-streamed press conference featuring Prefect for the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández.”

This shouldn’t come as shocking topic of discussion to Christians, but it seems many today have abandoned the supernatural aspect of the Bible, even though spiritual warfare against demons, principalities, powers and rulers of darkness is an oft-discussed topic in the Word of God.

Fernández has said in the past that the new text will come with “clear guidelines and norms for the discernment of apparitions and other phenomena,” as reported by the National Catholic Register.

Well, good on the Catholic Church for at least recognizing the significance behind the spiritual realm and its effect on the natural.

But Christians who do not subscribe to the Catholic view of Christianity need to be aware that things are worded and phrased a bit differently than your mainline Protestant, Pentecostal or non-denominational Christian may be used to hearing.

Case in point, an “apparition” is a distinctly divine entity, meaning it would be a saint, the virgin Mary or Jesus.

Many Christians today believe that such visions exist, perhaps with less of an emphasis on Mary and more on angelic beings and Jesus, but there have been just as many who have labeled such occurrences and events as “charismaniac nonsense.”

Well, we are seeing the evidence of the spiritual war taking place all around us, as the earth continues its self-destructive spiral away from the tenets of God.

But one thing all Christians can (or should) agree with Catholics on is the need for biblical discernment.

The Bible warns of deception and false teachers, and if we are not rooted firmly in the truth of the Bible, many, even the elect, will fall victim to these deceptions.

So stay prayed up, fast and spend daily time in the Word of God so that the snares of the enemy fail and God’s truth is instead revealed to the world.

3 Rules for a Prosperous Life

Time has a funny way of making us reprioritize what is important in life, as well as how we view our relationship with God.

When Benny Hinn sat down with Charisma Media founder Stephen Strang for an episode of the Strang Report podcast, he did more than just discuss mistakes he had made in the past, he also shared three key areas of advice he would give his younger self, and all young people entering ministry.

In his 50th year of ministry in 2024, Hinn has had his share of ups and downs, victories and failures. Living in the latter-season of life that he now finds himself in, Hinn described wisdom he would have appreciated when he was a young minister, to stay grounded in the Lord and His will.

  1. Build a reservoir of the Word of God in your heart. “So when the troubles come, you [will] know what to do,” Hinn says. And the troubles will eventually come for any and every person who declares Jesus Christ is Lord. According to the King of kings’ own words in John 16:33, “…In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”
  2. Cling to the Lord with all your mind. “Only the Word within your heart can help you cling to the Lord,” Hinn shares. By holding tight to the Lord, we prevent wandering from taking place. Instead of leaving His presence in the pursuit of fleshly desires, we stay within His perfect place and prevent sin from taking over our lives as Psalm 119:11 says, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.”
  3. Stay with your call. “The reason that’s important is because anything outside the call is sin,” Hinn reveals. “It was King Uzziah [who] was called to be a king (2 Chron. 26). And one day wanted to be a priest, and he became a leper. Leprosy is symbolic of sin in the Bible. Look what happened to Saul and so on.”

Prayer, studying the Word of God and developing a personal relationship with God are all things every Christian should strive to deepen in their life, and these are what Hinn points to as a necessity for ministry.

“The most important thing that any young 18-year-old can really do is know the mind of God, know the concept of God,” Hinn says. “And the Bible is really clear in Psalm 119, because it talks about how the Word of God, the Scriptures, are so powerful, to help us live holy. And this is when prayer becomes really [important] in our life, because of the Word of God in us.”

Navigating Criticism on the Road to Redemption

Christian controversy just seems to be a thing these days.

It bridges denominations, genders and borders, and when a big name in the Christian sphere stumbles or even falls on their face (metaphorically speaking), there is an army of online content creators waiting to pick their situation apart and offer their audiences a “hot take.”

So how are Spirit-filled believers able to tell the difference? How can we ensure that we are using proper discernment in these foundation-shaking events that cause some to lose faith in the church?

Well, we must discern between destructive and constructive criticism of our words and actions, Brown says.

“There’s a criticism that’s destructive, that only tears down that looks for the worst. That is not fair. That is not evenhanded before the Lord, that does not receive good reports, but only bad reports that thrive on negativity,” Brown warns.

“But there’s another criticism which is healthy, and life giving. And the Bible is full of examples,” he continues. “…So there’s a criticism that’s healthy, that’s good, even if we don’t like the way it comes, and through whom it comes.”

One safety net that Dr. Brown points to, that has been sorely missing in the church, is accountability.

“We’ve had a real problem in the American church in general, with so many independent churches, but then in the charismatic church, in particular, with unaccountability. And we can just speak words, prophetic words, and whether they come to pass or not, we just keep going,” Brown says.

“There seems to be little accountability. And it seems, you know, big ministries, just keep going without a problem, but we’re living in a different day now,” he adds.

Accountability protects ministries, leaders and congregations as a preventative measure, but also when false witness is brought up. Because when someone is being held accountable, they are more aware of their actions and not giving place to sin because they are under a close watch by a trusted group of believers.

Brown believes that a place of true repentance will yield a change of how we operate in ministry.

“People want to see genuine fruit of repentance,” says Brown. “If we really humble ourselves, take ownership for what we did, acknowledge it. Don’t just brush it off as heresy hunting, embrace it, bring forth fruit of repentance, people will welcome that. And those who still reject it, hey, you can’t help them. You can’t help everybody. But others who see genuine repentance, genuine change, though, rejoice.”

Regardless of all the hoopla surrounding any particular big-name ministry leader, no matter if the accusations levelled against someone are true or false, all will be revealed when we stand before God And our lives will be put under a “holy spotlight,” for which we will answer.

“The same spotlight before God is on all of us. In other words, Benny Hinn may have a bigger platform than someone else, but in God’s sight, we’re all under a holy spotlight, where we’ve blown it,” Brown says.

“So let’s humble ourselves. Let’s get low. As we do, God gives grace to the humble, He forgives, He restores.”

Netanyahu: ‘Never Again Is Now’

There is only one path forward for the embattled prime minister of Israel: the return of the hostages taken during the Oct. 7, massacre and the complete elimination of the terrorist organization known as Hamas.

As the world recoiled from the horrors observed as Hamas paraded the dead bodies of young Israeli women through the streets, many said it was only a matter of time until the media, and the world, would turn against Israel in their retaliatory strikes against those who carried out the worst massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

Now, as the International Criminal Court in the Hague weighs the option of issuing arrest warrants to some of Israel’s top officials, Netanyahu brazenly defied them during his address on Holocaust Remembrance Day, and anyone else who stand in the path of Israel ensuring her and her people’s safety in the future.

“From here in Jerusalem, I am sending a very clear-cut message: you will not chain our hands and even if Israel has to stand alone, it will stand alone and will continue to fight our enemies until victory,” Netanyahu told the world.

In the speech, Netanyahu switched between speaking Hebrew and English, but the message remained the same, Jews may have been unarmed and powerless during the Holocaust, but this is no longer the case.

“No nation came to our aid. Today again, we face enemies bent on our destruction. I say to the leaders of the world: no amount of pressure… will stop Israel from defending itself. As prime minister, I pledge here today from Jerusalem on this Holocaust Remembrance Day, if Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone,” the prime minister roared.

“We will defeat our genocidal enemies. Never again is now.”

The path forward certainly appears to be a lonely one for Israel, as her once-closest ally, the United States of America, has bowed before the radical anti-Israel forces.

The Biden administration has maintained their position of being against an invasion of the city of Rafah, which began Tuesday, Apr. 7.

In response to the march of Israeli tanks and armored personnel carriers, the United States halted a large arms transfer to Israel, which the nation badly needs in her war against Hamas.

Perhaps Netanyahu’s words were prophetic without him even realizing it.

There is one certainty among all of this of course, and that is the covenant that God made with Abraham in the book of Genesis is alive and well today, and His hand of protection is upon His people.
