The fallout from the explosive Robert Morris sexual abuse scandal continues to ripple across the Christian world, as Daystar Television announced they are removing all programming featuring Morris effective immediately.

In a post made on X (formerly Twitter), Daystar expressed their grief at the situation, as well as their decision to separate from Morris in totality.

“We are deeply grieved and saddened by the recent and very serious allegations against Pastor Robert Morris involving the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old minor. In light of these events and a recently released statement by Gateway’s Elders, Daystar’s leadership has made the decision to remove all of Pastor Robert Morris’ programming from our broadcasting schedule,” the statement reads.

“Daystar unequivocally condemns the actions described in these allegations and remains committed to upholding biblical values as outlined in the Word of God.

“As we navigate through this challenging situation, we extend our heartfelt support and prayers to all those impacted,” the post concludes.

Daystar is not the only major organization to remove Morris after his sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl (at the time), Cindy Clemishire, came to light.

The Evangelical Executive Advisory Board for former President Donald Trump has also removed Morris from his role in the group.

As reported by The Christian Post, “Morris’ exclusion from the former president’s powerful group of Evangelical backers comes as current and former Texas politicians are speaking out after 54-year-old grandmother Cindy Clemishire reported that the megachurch pastor began sexually abusing her on Dec. 25, 1982, when she was just 12 years old, and continued with the abuse for four-and-a-half years after that.”

This shocking news has also drawn the outrage of several Texas politicians who are incensed at the laws in place which prevent prosecution of Morris due to statute of limitations restrictions.

“There must be no safe haven or security for anyone who abuses a child in Texas,” says State Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, to GazzetteXtra.

“To that end, the Texas Legislature must continue to improve our laws protecting and ensuring justice for victims of childhood sexual abuse and holding criminals and those who aid them responsible. Texas should be leading in this area, and as the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and a longtime advocate for victims and their families I intend to lock arms with fellow lawmakers to do just that.”

Biola University has launched a groundbreaking AI Lab rooted in biblical values. The initiative aims to ensure that Christians are not left behind in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

“The AI Lab at Biola University is a dedicated space where students, faculty and staff converge to explore the intricacies of artificial intelligence,” Dr. Michael J. Arena, dean of the Crowell School of Business at Biola University, told Fox News Digital.

The lab seeks to provide education, foster dialogue and lead innovative AI projects grounded in Christian beliefs. Arena stresses the importance of embracing AI in educational institutions, warning that failure to do so could lead to significant setbacks.

“If we don’t engage, we risk falling asleep at the wheel,” he said, drawing parallels to the adverse effects of social media on human interaction.

Arena highlighted the decline in face-to-face engagement, especially among teenagers, due to social media, noting that nearly three-fourths of Gen Z individuals report experiencing loneliness at times. “Without proactive involvement in guiding AI’s development, there’s a risk that we will replicate this story,” he warned.

What sets Biola’s AI Lab apart is its focus on moral and ethical values rather than technical skills alone. “Our focus extends beyond creating AI to nurturing responsible, ethical and socially beneficial AI,” Arena explained. The lab prioritizes ethical discernment to mitigate potential biases, promote transparency and uphold human dignity within AI.

The lab’s approach is deeply rooted in core Bible-driven tenets, such as believing humans are created in the image of God, which confers unique inherent value. “This means integrating AI within a framework that aligns with Christian values,” Arena said, referencing Genesis 2:15, which speaks to humanity’s role as stewards of creation.

The technologies developed in the lab will adhere to sustainable practices, avoid exploitation and positively contribute to the well-being of individuals and the environment.

Part of the lab’s mission includes creating AI applications specifically for Christians. One notable project is the development of a comprehensive database of Christian resources to facilitate open access for research purposes.

Other initiatives include AI-driven chatbots to assist prospective students, tools to aid in academic advising and AI-powered career planning sessions. “Each of these experiments aim to explore the feasibility and potential benefits of implementing AI solutions to enhance student experiences and support services,” Arena said.

Christians working with AI are working toward the preservation of human dignity and ethical considerations. This includes addressing potential biases in algorithms and implementing measures to uphold ethical standards.

According to Murphy’s Law, if something can go wrong, it will go wrong.

While this is a pretty negative way to view things, many are the church leader, pastor or minister who understands the sentiment behind it, because there are often speedbumps in our Christian walk that we never see coming.

This is certainly the case for Pastor Sidney Buggs of San Diego’s Greater Gospel Center Church of God in Christ.

For Pastor Buggs, his church was left “hurting” after their insurance company dropped their policy due to satellite images. The church then had to find a new insurance provider costing them at least $15,000 more a year.

In addition to a more expensive plan, Buggs had to replace the roof before a new provider would pick them up for coverage leading to an additional $51,000 in construction fees.

“We don’t have donors that can come write us checks. We’re hurting,” Pastor Buggs says, who does not receive a salary for his role as pastor of the church.

The insurance company that dropped the church using satellite imagery, GuideOne, told Buggs the roof showed wear and tear as well as broken shingles.

“My roof was not leaking! I was trying to figure out when did they come? Then they said they did it by satellite. I said, satellite!? How can they see the condition of a roof from a satellite? I don’t care how close you got. You got to walk a roof. I’m a retired cement mason. General contractor. Yes the roof is old. It’s worn a little bit, but it’s not leaking. There’s no threat to leak. There’s no water spots in my sanctuary,” Pastor Buggs told CBS8 in San Diego.

News station CBS8 even went to Buggs’ COGIC church and reported that all things appeared in “pristine condition” while the community held events such as musicals, banquets and weddings at the church.

“All this we did with the community in mind. And this membership that’s less than 100 members. I don’t have doctors and lawyers that are part of our congregation but these small people have come together to make it work. And that’s what this church means to the community,” Pastor Buggs adds.

When CBS8 reached out to GuideOne, whose own report showed “No missing shingles. No rust. No patching or ponding” and had “81% confidence in the shingles,” the company refused to respond to the inquiry.

“GuideOne does not comment on private matters involving our potential or actual policyholders. We do strive to keep policyholders informed of underwriting decisions in a timely manner.”

One thing is for sure, even while Pastor Buggs is going through a season of trial right now, and it is often difficult to see God amid the storm, the Lord is standing by him and his congregation every step of the way.

In the book of 2 Kings chapter 19, King Hezekiah of Judah is facing a formidable enemy in Sennacherib, king of Assyria.

The Assyrian army was at the gates of Jerusalem, and Hezekiah lifted up a prayer to the Lord for protection from his enemies.

And the Lord answered.

In 2 Kings 19:35, after Isaiah prophesied of Sennacherib’s defeat, it says, “On that night the angel of the Lord went out and struck one hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When others woke up early in the morning, these were all dead bodies.”

This account is written about in two other parts of the Bible, 2 Chronicles 32:21 and Isaiah 37:36.

Fast-forward to today, and researchers in Israel are now claiming to have found the battlefield outside Jerusalem where a mighty Assyrian army is believed to have fallen.

Archaeologist Stephen Compton asserts that through modern mapping technologies, he found evidence that this supernatural slaughter indeed took place some 2,700 years ago.

As reported by the Daily Mail UK, “After conducting an archaeological survey of the site, Compton determined that it was abandoned after Sennacherib’s invasion and that humans hadn’t inhabited the area for at least 2,600 years.

“The finding has paved the way for researchers to locate other similar military sites in the area and they hope it will lead to uncovering ancient cities that were destroyed by the Assyrian Empire.”

Over the years, many researchers have scoured the region looking for archaeological evidence of this battle, along with ancient cities the Assyrians are believed to have destroyed.

To date, there had only been one other military campsite in the area where Sennacherib and his forces are thought to have been defeated by the angel of the Lord, but now Compton has shined light on the main campsite outside the walls of Jerusalem.

The most striking feature for identification? Its renowned oval shape, different from the expected rectangular shape of Roman camps in the area.

“Roman military camps were always rectangular, whereas this was oval, the characteristic shape of Assyrian camps,” Compton once wrote in a public statement.

“In some cases, it has also been possible to use the newly discovered camps to locate the sites of ancient cities that were known to have been besieged by the Assyrians but whose locations were unknown or uncertain,” he adds.

As technology continues to improve, more and more evidence is discovered regarding the historical accuracy of the Bible.

From the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Pools of Siloam and now the unearthed camp of Sennacherib’s Assyrian army, the Word of God continues to be proven good and true.

“We walk sensitive to the Holy Spirit. We walk in relationship with Holy Spirit. We walk putting our thoughts, our minds, our words, under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Which tells me we have no room for spiritless Christianity. We have no room to embrace a walk with God devoid of a real, dynamic relationship with the Holy Spirit” Sparks says. This genuine relationship helps prevent faith deconstruction and keeps believers grounded.

Global Hunger for True Spirituality

Sparks also highlighted a growing global hunger for true spirituality, particularly among Gen Z. He shared testimonies of significant moves of the Holy Spirit in various regions, including Europe and the United Kingdom.

“We had 200-300 people gathered together in Dublin, Ireland, with many falling on their face before the Lord,” Sparks recounts. He noted that this hunger for the divine is evident even in places where God is not expected to be active.

Pastor Todd Coconato raised the alarm after a 270-foot inflatable dragon, Vhagar, was wrapped around the spire of the Empire State Building to promote the new season, and supposedly in honor of the building while “pledging allegiance” to the fictional king over the dragons.

“Just after the Empire State Building pledged its allegiance to the king, Vhagar descended upon the heart of New York City and has claimed the mast of the ‘World’s Most Famous Building’ as her perch,” said Empire State Realty Trust Chairman and CEO Tony Malkin in a public statement.

But Coconato points to the Bible saying that references to dragons are quite telling of the symbolic representation behind NYC embracing “the dragon.”

“In the Bible, Satan is referred to as a dragon in the book of Revelation. This imagery emphasizes his power and deceit. Revelation 12:9 describes him as ‘the great dragon…that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray,'” Coconato posted on Facebook. “This symbolic representation underscores Satan’s role as the adversary and deceiver. You can’t make this stuff up!”

Other parts of the city, plagued by growing crime and a migrant crisis that the leaders have failed to resolve, have promoted the second season of the series with banners hanging from restaurants and around Wall Street, declaring which side of the fictional feud people find themselves on within the show saying “All Must Choose.”

New York City has a bad habit now of allowing monuments that are spiritually detrimental to its well-being.

It is happening all around us. Our nation is being radically transformed by people with extreme ideologies, and that should deeply alarm all of us.

The following are eight signs that extremists are taking over our country.

1. In Oregon, a high school track and field coach has been fired for simply “expressing his concerns about allowing biological males to compete with girls.”
2. Officials in Seattle have decided that it is perfectly OK to hire migrants that have come into the United States illegally as police officers.
3. Even though reservoirs are overflowing right now, bureaucrats have decided to greatly restrict the flow of water to countless potato farmers in the state of Idaho
4. Executives at Disney seem absolutely determined to completely destroy Star Wars. In the newest series, a “coven of lesbian space witches” has been introduced.
5. In Los Angeles, authorities are reportedly toying with the idea of “removing police from traffic enforcement altogether.”
6. While politicians in Washington endlessly promote war on the other side of the globe to protect Ukraine’s “sacred borders,” vast numbers of people are being allowed to come flooding into this country illegally every single day. In fact, Citizen Free Press is reporting that “we may have 200,000 more Chinese men who have crossed our border” by the month of November.
7. We aren’t supposed to question “climate science,” and many in positions of power get extremely angry when we do. As Ken Ham recently explained, the modern climate change movement has essentially mutated into a “religion” that “basically sees man as a blight upon the earth.”
8. At a time when they should be concerned with a myriad of rapidly growing national security threats, the federal agency that oversees the CIA, the FBI and the NSA is focused on other things this month.

The top intelligence agency in the United States is celebrating Pride Month by inviting agents to have the transgender flag painted on their nails, participate in a “Pride Ally Challenge,” and learn from a “non-binary,” “Filipinx” activist who has taught children about her non-binary identity, a document exclusively obtained by The Daily Wire reveals.

If my grandparents were alive today, they wouldn’t even recognize our country.

We now live in a society where up is down, down is up, high is low and low is high. Unfortunately, the control freaks that are running things get quite upset when anyone dares to question why everything has been reversed.

The supernatural phenomenon of “Are we or aren’t we alone in the universe?” has really picked up steam in recent years, and more people than ever believe this is in fact a spiritual issue.

This discussion has become so prominent, the biggest podcast in the world, “The Joe Rogan Experiment” regularly discusses the topic to the audience’s delight.

But what are aliens exactly?

Revivalist Isaiah Saldivar recently reacted to Joe Rogan and his guest, conservative megastar Tucker Carlson, as the two discussed the origin of aliens and Carlson points to the supernatural realm.

“Chart their physical behavior…it goes outside of what we understand about physics,” Carlson says.

Saldivar agrees with Carlson’s take on the spiritual aspect of aliens, declaring that they are in fact demonic in origin.

“That is the truth,” Saldivar says, further agreeing with Carlson that the world’s militaries cannot combat these beings.

“The U.S. military cannot control these objects, because these objects are demonic spirits. They are fallen angels. The Bible says…the devil is the prince of the power of the air, and the military, the physical military cannot do anything to combat principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, demonic spirits,” he adds.

“The only military that has power over these ‘aliens’ which are actually demons, is God’s military, is the army of God.”

Saldivar points to the very happenings in the world today of increased demonic influence as well as an existing relationship between world powers and the demonic.

From child sacrifice to the rise of radical sexual and gender ideologies, the ways of God are being attacked on all fronts, and the forces behind the attacks on God are demonic in origin.

But without an understanding of the Bible approaching this topic from a biblical standpoint and not the world’s, people like host Joe Rogan simply are unable to connect all the pieces of what this world is dealing with as the end times rapidly approach.

“He [Rogan] doesn’t understand that the devil is trying to destroy humanity,” Saldivar says.

“He cares a lot about what’s happening in the world, and so do demons because they hate humans. They hate us. We are made in the image of God and they hate that and because the devil could never go to heaven or be with God because he got cast out. He wants to make sure we don’t go there,” he continues.

But there remains animosity from many, including Christians, regarding the spiritual realm as many simply dismiss it as nonsense because they cannot explain what they are witnessing.

This thinking runs contrary to Bible teachings and according to Saldivar, it is all leading to the Great Tribulation and the rise of the Antichrist.

“I really think this whole alien narrative is just setting us up for when the rapture of the church happens so the world can say ‘this was aliens not Christ,'” Saldivar says.

“Think about this: when Christ takes His church, they’re going to say ‘[this] wasn’t Christ that took them, it was aliens that abducted the world.’ And then they’re going to attribute that to not giving God credit for rapturing His church and coming back, but giving the aliens credit,” he continues.

“So I think it’s a setup for what’s coming. I think a lot of stuff we’re seeing in the world is a setup for what’s coming including the mark of the beast, including worshiping the Antichrist, including mass perversion, confusion and disillusion.”

The false prophecies of fake prophets have come and gone time and again, but people still attach themselves to their predictions just as often.

Recently, an Indian astrologer, Kushal Kumar, predicted that World War III will begin on June 18.

His reason for this date? According to an interview he gave to the Daily Mail, “Now, Tuesday, 18 June 2024, has the strongest planetary stimulus to trigger WW3.”

Here are the five geopolitical events that are causing Kumar to justify his theory on the beginning of the next world war:

• > A recent terror attack that killed nine Hindus in the Himalayan mountains.
• > North and South Korean tensions that recently saw several shots fired in the Demilitarized Zone.
• > The continuing war in Israel and the increased aggression from the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah.
• > Russia sending a nuclear-capable submarine to Cuba, stoking fears of another Cuban Missile Crisis.
• > Chinese war drills off the coast of Taiwan simulating an invasion of the island nation.

Kumar does not have a record of accurate predictions, but the same could be said for astrology as a whole.

He incorrectly guessed that June 10, would be our doomsday, yet here we are and he has revised his prediction to June 29.

For Christians, paying attention to the signs of the times is an important task to take seriously. Jesus tells us to pay attention, meanwhile we are to continue evangelizing in His name.

So take heed at the events going on in the world, but we do not have to fear these things. We are promised eternal life through faith in Jesus. Not to mention, no one knows the day or the hour of His return but the Father (Matt. 24:36).

Use discernment when you hear people speculate on the future or offer up prophecies, and always confirm them against the Word of God.

But if someone says the world is ending on a specific date, you can rest assured the word they are giving is not from the Lord.

When Joe Biden and Kamala Harris hosted an early Juneteenth concert in commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States, they invited a long list of entertainers such as “Godmother of Soul” Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight to join them for the celebration.

But it was gospel recording artist Kirk Franklin who seemed to have grabbed the spotlight, and headlines, for the event.

Franklin proceeded to surprise many during his set by inviting Harris on stage to dance with him and kiss her hand in the process.

This dancing was much more subdued than the aggressive style that raised many eyebrows at a Jamaican Christian music festival, where the CEO of the company sponsoring the event condemned Franklin for his actions.

The dance with Harris at the White House is not without its critics either, as popular Christian YouTuber Gabe Poirot blasted Franklin for dancing with Harris due to her unwavering support for abortion.

“Let me ask you: if you thought it would be amazing to include in the same sentences where you praise Jesus Christ, in the same picture where you say that you are committed to God bring up a woman on stage who has committed her life to fighting for the murder of the innocent, you tell me how fun that is,” Poirot said in response to the event.

“You tell me how funny it is when you see the 60 million children in the womb who have been killed even before they ever had a chance. And you want to convince me that you’re protecting the innocent, that you’re fighting for the rights of the African-Americans, as you support organizations like Planned Parenthood who were founded by ‘genocidists,’ who were founded by racists,” he continues.

Poirot goes on to explain he believes this is a clear-cut case of people who have a gifting and an anointing like Franklin, but go on to use them outside of the will of God.

“He [Franklin] has an amazing gift and talent that is from the Lord, that the Lord can never take back because the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. But you know what’s so interesting about that? How sons and daughters of God will abuse the very gifts that God has given us and manipulate it to influence people and lead them astray,” Poirot declares.

While we as Christians are certainly called to go out into the world, meaning we are to live among its inhabitants and not hide in the shadows fearfully waiting for the day of the Lord, we are not to be conformed to its ways either.

Instead, we are to stand out as a light in the world, because we are in Christ Jesus who is the Light (Matt. 5:14-16).

Hopefully Franklin was able to share his faith with those in attendance, because if their actions and policies are any indication, the Biden administration is in dire need of the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
