Ohio state Sen. George Lang (R) sure fired up the anti-Trump crowd recently when he introduced Republican vice presidential candidate and U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) at a rally on Monday.

Seemingly out of nowhere Lang announced, “Trump and Butler County’s JD Vance are the last chance to save our country politically. I’m afraid if we lose this one, it’s going to take a civil war to save the country and it will be saved,” in the now viral clip.

“It’s the greatest experiment in the history of mankind. And if we come down to a civil war, I’m glad we got people like Schmidty and the bikers for Trump on our side,” he adds, including several other Trump supporting groups in the audience.

Using language with such a strong buzzword catches the ears of both political sides whenever the other uses it, and quickly draw condemnations for it.

Lang quickly apologized for using the incendiary phrasing, later that day in fact, as the nation is still on edge following the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.

“Remarks I made earlier today at a rally in Middletown do not accurately reflect my views,” Lang wrote in the statement. “I regret the divisive remarks I made in the excitement of the moment on stage. Especially in light of the assassination attempt on President Trump last week, we should all be mindful of what is said at political events, myself included.”

The United States is experiencing increased division, fueled by political and cultural rhetoric. It took 10 days before the head of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, made the decision to resign from her position over what some are calling the greatest lapse in Secret Service history.

Following her grilling from congressional members in front of the House Oversight Committee over the failures that led to former President Donald Trump being a fraction of an inch from being killed, Cheatle was confronted with bi-partisan support for her removal.

Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna (CA) called for her resignation during the congressional hearing while Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) introduced a “privileged motion to impeach Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle.”

Cheatle appears to have been left with no other option as she no longer had the backing of the Democratic party.

The Biden administration released a statement shortly after Cheatle’s resignation announcement.

There are other voices, such as investigative journalist and perhaps Donald Trump’s most loyal supporter Laura Loomer, who believes criminal charges should be filed against Cheatle due to her belief that the attempted assassination of Donald Trump was a set up.

“Resigning isn’t enough. Kim Cheatle needs to be criminally charged. She is an accessory to attempted murder and an accessory to murder. They let Trump take the stage at his rally while knowing about the shooter,” Loomer wrote on X.

A live incident at Milwaukee Airport saw Microsoft systems worldwide crash, displaying the “blue screen of death” and causing widespread outages. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, alongside Microsoft, has been working to address the issue, but disruptions have persisted.

“This is a problem affecting Microsoft systems. We are seeing a massive global outage and disruption,” Z said. He added that 911 systems, hospitals and various other services had been impacted, urging people to check the functionality of Microsoft-related systems.

Z believes these events are part of a broader scheme involving artificial intelligence. “I believe we’re going to see more and more of that type of narrative taking place where people begin to go, ‘My goodness, what is going on?'” he said. Z posits that this “super intelligence,” or AI, is linked to the Antichrist system and is being developed by those programming it. “This is going to advance into a super intelligence which, of course, is anti-Christ—not the Antichrist. I believe the Antichrist system is being set up with AI,” he warned.

A previous prophecy pointed to a recent cyber attack on Las Vegas hotels and casinos, with Z stating that this signifies broader implications. “What happens in Vegas will not stay in Vegas,” he said. State after state is having outages and operations issues with the 911 emergency line. The most recent was Massachusetts on July 18.

State leaders had a fire lit beneath them when they realized there was a statewide outage of the entire system, while they and emergency services tried to figure out ways to get the message to the public as well as what to do in the meantime.

As reported by USA Today, “Police texted out administrative numbers that callers could use, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu gave outage updates at a press conference outlining plans for the Celtics’ championship parade, and local officials urged people to summon help by pulling red fire alarm boxes.”

It is estimated that over 7 million people were without use of the 911 service, and thankfully it was not during a time when an emergency on a massive scale was taking place.

In 2024 alone, no less than eight states, including Massachusetts, have experienced emergency system disruptions to include: Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, California, Georgia and Illinois.

Many experts are pointing to the aging grid supporting these systems and the lack of upgrades and modernization in these particular areas.

“Now there are haves and have-nots,” said Jonathan Gilad, vice president of government affairs at the National Emergency Number Association. “Next-generation 911 shouldn’t be for people who happen to have an emergency in a good location.”

But states are not alone in this pressing issue of the failing 911 service, as Verizon was slapped with a $1.05 million fine by the Federal Communications Commission. An outage affected six states all in the southern portion of the United States, showing that this issue is not specific to a set region, but affecting the whole country.

While politicians and bureaucrats debate the authority range of the FCC, the citizenry are the ones at risk.

There is plenty in this world to cause worry, fear and anxiety, but in all things we must remember that God is in control.

Peter tells us in 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.” So while we may be experiencing an emergency in real time, we can find peace knowing that God is with us in every scenario we may face.
