But that is arguably a long ways away, since the Temple Mount itself is still in dispute, yet events such as the sounding of the silver temple trumpets, which took place on Tisha B’Av, the day of remembrance of the destruction of both the First and Second Temples, took place recently.

Israel365 reports that a man, Josh Wander, created and brought with him to the Machkama building two silver trumpets meant for the temple, and blew them, technically, on the Temple Mount.

The space where his group sounded the trumpets was not on the floor of the Temple Mount per se, but the building they were in actually projects out over the Temple Mount. It is about as close as they can get, in a secluded space away from prying eyes who would seek to stop them, without starting a potential war in the holy city.

As reported by Israel365, “The trumpets were blown at a prayer service held twice a year and overseen by Rabbi Rami Goren, the son of Rabbi Shlomo Goren, who served as the first head of the military rabbinate of the Israel Defense Forces. Rabbi Shlomo Goren oversaw the IDF victory in the 1967 Six-Day War that brought the Temple Mount under Israeli sovereignty.”

In a recent interview with Charisma Media, author and researcher L.A. Marzulli delved into a range of topics that blur the lines between history, spirituality and the paranormal. Known for his investigations into the Nephilim, Marzulli discussed the mysterious artifacts, ancient legends and the spiritual warfare that he believes still shapes the world we live in today.

One of the intriguing points Marzulli raised was the connection between Mormon beliefs and the Nephilim. He referenced the Mormon narrative of Nephi, who, according to the Book of Mormon, traveled from the Middle East to the Americas. He recounted an incident in Salt Lake City, where he was allegedly shown the sarcophagi of the Nephilim by a high-ranking member of the Mormon Church. “When we got there, we were being watched,” Marzulli said, describing how they were met by a church official who took them to a high-rise building overlooking the city. According to Marzulli, these encounters are not isolated. “We’ve heard that over and over and over again from the 19th century and the 20th century. Did they get them all? He cited historical records, including the writings of Procopius, a Roman historian, who mentioned a stone marker in North Africa bearing the inscription, “We are they who fled from the face of Joshua the robber, the son of Nun.” Marzulli argued that this was evidence of the Nephilim escaping to regions such as Malta, Sardinia, and even into France.

The conversation then took a darker turn as Marzulli discussed hybrid entities, which he believes are the result of fallen angels mating with human women (Gen 6). These beings, according to Marzulli, are “soulless” and have appeared increasingly in modern times. “We know that in the 90s, people started seeing hybrid entities,” he said. “They look more alien than they did human.” He described them as “sickly looking, with stringy hair and big black eyes.”

Marzulli ended on a note of spiritual caution and encouragement, urging listeners to rely on their faith in Jesus Christ to combat these dark forces. “When the Lord shows up, when He dispatches angels, when the Holy Spirit decides to do something, look out—darkness flees,” he said. “We don’t need to fear these things because we have the Holy Spirit living in us.”

Elon Musk’s recent criticisms of “wokeness” have stirred discussions across a multitude of platforms, highlighting the divisive nature of this cultural ideology. “Wokeness is divisive. It’s hateful and it gives mean people a shield to be cruel and have false virtue,” Musk said in an interview with the Babylon Bee. Savchuk echoed this sentiment, arguing that wokeness prioritizes diversity, equity and inclusion (“DEI”) over meritocracy and traditional values. He pointed out that these priorities can lead to harmful practices, such as gender-affirming care, aka sterilization, which is a form of ideological indoctrination.

For Savchuk, the term “woke” has strayed far from its original meaning. Initially popularized in the 1930s by blues singer Lead Belly, the term was a call for awareness against racial injustice. However, Savchuk contends that it has since evolved into a broader social movement that promotes moral absolutism, virtue signaling and a will to control others.

Savchuk outlined seven signs of wokeness that he believes are indicative of the “woke mind virus”:

• Lack of critical thinking ability: “Critical thinking is an analytical process that involves asking questions, seeking to understand and addressing ideas or actions,” Savchuk said, emphasizing that wokeness often discourages such inquiry.
• Identification and indoctrination with progressive issues: According to Savchuk, wokeness involves embracing ideologies like critical race theory and LGBTQ+ advocacy, which he shows are contrary to biblical teachings.
• Spirit of rebellion against God and Western Judeo-Christian values: Savchuk cites Romans 1:25, arguing that wokeness leads to the worship of nature and the rejection of divine authority.
• Blind devotion to the cause of redressing perceived injustice: “The problem is not that we don’t need to redress grievances, but the blind characterizing of all white people as just wrong,” Savchuk said, comparing this mentality to communism.
• Being offended by everything: Savchuk noted that even progressive writers have observed that “woke people have gotten too woke.” “It’s not possible to live in a world where there are no offenses but it seems like woke people are offended by everything, all the time, around them,” he says.
• Cancel culture that seeks to dominate all discourse: Savchuk criticized the tendency of woke individuals to silence dissenting opinions, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in Christian faith. “As Christians we believe in dialogue, not silencing someone. We believe that disagreement doesn’t mean hate,” Savchuk explains.
• Embracing spirituality but rejecting religion: Wokeness, according to Savchuk, promotes a naturalistic worldview that rejects the supernatural and views the Bible as merely a human record.

Chicago, Illinois, is shaping up to have a wild week, and we haven’t even reached night one of the Democratic National Convention.

Before the festivities, or protests, took place, the Windy City was hit with a generational swarm of cicadas that brought with them a nasty little surprise.

With the arrival of the cicadas came the oak leaf itch mite, which cicada expert Dr. Gene Kritsky told NBC that they “can be seen in vast quantities following a cicada emergence.”

This pestilence hit Chicago back in 2007, when Kritsky said scientists discovered the mites were buried in with the egg nests of Brood XIII cicadas.

As reported by the Daily Star, “That exact brood was one of the two to emerge during the historic emergence earlier this year, which Kritsky described as ‘biblical.'”

The mites bring with them a nasty little stinger on their rear ends and can cause severe irritation, and this brood of cicadas still has thousand of eggs left to hatch, so the annoyance of the mites is far from over.

“People should avoid sitting under the trees until after the eggs hatch in mid-August,” says Kritsky.

The winged terrors arrived back in Chicago just in time for the DNC which has already seen pro-Hamas protests, an inflatable IUD, on-demand abortion and vasectomies provided by Planned Parenthood and who knows what else the week will bring.

The annual conference put on by Gateway Church, Gateway Conference has officially been canceled.

As the fallout from the shocking revelation of former lead pastor and founder Robert Morris’ sexual abuse of Cindy Clemishire, who was 12 years old at the start of the abuse, the Conference leadership explained in a public statement why they felt it was in the best interest of everyone to cancel.

“Are we in the end times? Are we at the point where as good Christians we have to oppose authority, or do we focus on loving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and submitting to authority?”

This was a question posed by comedian and podcaster Russell Brand, who recently made the leap to accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, and has been searching for knowledge and understanding ever since.

Of course the first verses that usually come to mind are Paul’s writings in the book of Romans which say that all authority is derived from God, and that Christians are to submit to authority, just as Jesus submitted to the Father’s will and sacrificed His own life for that of humanity.

But what are Christians to do when corrupt rulers go against the teachings of God?

Brand read from Revelation 13, detailing the two beasts and those who would in turn worship the beast and eventually receive his mark. The Bible details that “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, all whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world,” (Rev. 13:9), yet those whose names are in the Book of Life shall not receive the Mark and worship this satanic beast.

“We’ve got a job to do, haven’t we?” asked Brand. “[It] sounds to me that political power is highly corruptible and that our duty is to recognize that the Lamb was slain for our salvation and redemption.

“I find it difficult to chart my way through that, but it aligns more easily with my pre-conditioned attitude to authority which is one of cynicism and doubt.

“But I wonder, as Christians, is it our role to be radical and rebellious when rebelliousness is so often chief among our sins,” Brand continued.

To keep searching for answers to life’s greatest questions shows that Brand is continuing his journey of deepening his relationship with Jesus Christ, and the Bible tells us that he is not the first to wonder about this philosophical predicament either.

In Acts chapter 5, the disciples encountered the exact situation where the ways of man, and religiousness, contradicted the ways of God, and Peter and the apostles answered the Sanhedrin plainly in verse 5:

“We must obey God rather than men.”

Rebecca Lavrenz, the Colorado grandma who has never committed a felony in her life but was caught on camera praying in the nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2021, has been dubbed by the U.S. government “a threat of future acts of political violence like that which engulfed the nation on January 6.”

U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui, who has been a litigator in the swamp as a U.S. States Attorney in D.C. from 2008 until he was made a judge in 2020, levied a heavy sentence against Lavrenz.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Lavrenz was sentenced to “a half year house arrest, with restrictions on her internet use, 12 month probation, and a $103,000 fine.”

Lavrenz has been vocally critical of the sham trial process for those accused of rioting on Jan. 6, which videos released contradict what the deceptive J6 committee told the public actually happened spearheaded by now former congressional members Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

The fine of $103,000 is an unprecedented amount for a misdemeanor case, but the public has shown its support for Lavrenz in this aspect.
