Walking Through Prophecy: A Journey Beneath the Western Wall

Beneath the surface of one of the most sacred places on earth lies a story carved in stone — and in faith.

In a recent mini-documentary that aired on Daystar, Shani Kotev of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation guided viewers through the Western Wall Tunnels, uncovering the awe-inspiring history, spiritual legacy and ongoing hope that lives in the heart of Jerusalem.

“Abraham was sent to this area, to the land of Moriah, and he was asked to do the hardest thing one can be asked to do,” Kotev said, referring to the binding of Isaac. “The binding of Isaac started the connection between the Jewish people and this place — Jerusalem.”

That connection deepened over millennia, from King David’s conquest of the city to the construction of Solomon’s Temple, and later, the massive expansion by King Herod. “He built an enormous platform… known till today as the Temple Mount,” Kotev explained. “And here is the Western Wall.”

But the story doesn’t stop at destruction. Despite the Roman Empire tearing down the Temple in A.D. 70, remnants remain as a powerful reminder of God’s promises. “When they got to this block, the Roman soldiers… literally sat on the rock and slowly, slowly started to chisel it,” Kotev shared while standing beside a 550-ton stone — one of the largest ever uncovered. “This is a great symbol for the glory of the Temple. But this is also a great symbol for the destruction of the Temple.”

Beneath the Muslim Quarter, Kotev walked viewers under Mamluk-era arches and into Crusader halls once filled with rubble. “When this place was excavated, it was all full of dirt, soil, rocks and garbage… and slowly, slowly in a very gentle, delicate, archeological excavation, this place was found. And look at it today. This is amazing.”

One of the highlights is the mikvah — a ritual bath over 2,000 years old, still holding clean, fresh water. “Until today, we don’t know to say exactly where this water are coming from,” Kotev marveled. “Maybe a local aquifer that is leading fresh water, rain water to this room… This one right here that was excavated in the Western Wall tunnels is maybe the most beautiful mikvah that was ever found, in my opinion, in the entire world.”

As the tour nears its end, the significance of the site becomes all the more profound.

“Less than 400 feet from where we are right now, you will find yourself on the place of the Binding, the place where two Temples stood,” Kotev said, pointing out their nearness to the Holy of Holies. “This is the nearest one can get without going up to the Temple Mount to the place or where the Temple used to be.”

Today, the heartbeat of ancient worship still echoes through the tunnels.

“Jewish women are praying 24/7, all year long, someone praying for the sake of Israel, for the sake of humanity,” Kotev said.

Whether you’ve walked those stones in person or only in spirit, Kotev’s invitation rings clear: “I invite you all, each and every one of you, to come here to Jerusalem and connect to your biblical heritage.”

John Bevere: Will the Church Face God’s Wrath?

In a recent episode of his podcast, John Bevere sat down with his son Arden to tackle one of the most pressing questions in eschatology: Will the church go through the wrath of God during the day of the Lord?

“This is the first time publicly I have ever said this—that I believe the church is going to be taken away prior to the seven-year tribulation,” Bevere declared.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

The father-son duo dove deep into 2 Peter and 1 Thessalonians, unpacking what Scripture says about the Second Coming, the day of the Lord and the difference between tribulation and wrath. “The day of the Lord is actually the day of His wrath,” Bevere said, citing Isaiah 13 and Revelation 6. “Now the question becomes—where are we, the faithful followers of Jesus, going to be during the time of His wrath?”

The Purpose of the Rapture

Bevere emphasized the importance of 1 Thessalonians 1:10: “And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.”

And again in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul writes: “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

According to Bevere, that’s not something to fear—it’s something to celebrate. “We’re going to meet the Lord in the air,” he said. “Comfort one another with these words. It doesn’t say torment one another with these words.”

He also broke down the Greek word “harpazo,” translated as “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. “It means to grab or seize by force with the purpose of removing,” he explained. “This Greek word is found 14 times in the New Testament.”

Three Signs That Will Precede Christ’s Return

Throughout the conversation, Bevere noted that the Bible gives us several key signs that point to the Lord’s return. “We started talking about the things that would lead up to the return of Jesus,” he said.

Here are the three Bevere listed:

  1. “The apostasy” – a great falling away from the faith.
  2. “The latter rain” – a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
  3. “The Elijah anointing” – a move of God that calls the prodigals back: “Calling those people—the millions that have walked away in the apostasy—back to the Lord.”

Bevere added, “God loves people so very much, He’s going to give them every chance to come back.”

A Call to Be Ready

More than pinpointing dates or arguing timelines, Bevere urged believers to focus on readiness. “The more I study, the more I realize how much I don’t know,” he admitted. “I am so crying out to the Holy Spirit.”

He pointed to 1 John 2:28 as the key: “Abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.”

Whether you’re pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib, Bevere was clear about one thing: this conversation shouldn’t divide the Church. “If somebody’s listening to us right now and they say, ‘No, I believe that the saints are going to be taken at the end of the seven-year’—you’re my brother and sister in Christ,” he said. “And there is no way I’m dividing over this with you.”

10 Signs God Is Moving You Into a New Season

We’ve all heard it before: “I feel like I’m stepping into a new season.” But how do you really know when God is shifting things in your life?

Pastor Vlad Savchuk of HungryGen Ministries recently shared a powerful message on this very topic, reminding believers that life isn’t static—it moves in seasons. “The Bible does talk about life being broken into seasons,” Savchuk said. “Sometimes there are seasons of struggle, then there’s seasons of victory. Sometimes there are seasons of lack and there are seasons where we see God’s provision.”

So how can you tell if you’re stepping into something new? Pastor Vlad outlines 10 biblical signs that reveal a divine shift is happening:

1. A Shift in Desires and Priorities

“When God transitions you into a new season, your passions, priorities and interests often change,” Savchuk said. He referenced Philippians 2:13, adding, “It is God who works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure.”

2. Doors Closing and New Ones Opening

Savchuk encouraged believers to watch for changing opportunities: “Old opportunities fade, and new doors that align with God’s will for your life begin to open.” He quoted Revelation 3:8: “See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it.”

3. Unusual Opposition

“A new season often attracts increased spiritual warfare,” he warned. Quoting 1 Corinthians 16:9, Savchuk said, “A great and effective door has been opened to me… and there are many adversaries.”

4. Discomfort or Restlessness

Savchuk shared, “You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey.” (Deut. 1:6-7). When God is stirring you, the old season becomes uncomfortable.

5. Relationships Begin to Shift

“Some people exit because that relationship has kind of ran its course,” he explained. Referencing Ruth, Savchuk noted how her decision to follow Naomi marked her new season: “Where you go, I will go… your God, my God.”

6. New Responsibilities Are Given

“You got to understand, your faithfulness in small things will bring about God’s reward. And you know what that reward is? More responsibility,” said Savchuk. He highlighted Luke 16:10: “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.”

7. A Renewed Hunger for God

“A fresh season is marked by a deeper craving for God’s presence and His Word,” Savchuk said. “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.” (Ps. 42:1)

8. God’s Peace Despite Uncertainty@

Savchuk encouraged believers not to fear unclear circumstances: “The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7) “God’s peace becomes your guard, becomes your protection,” he added.

9. A Change in Financial Supply

“You have to understand, a season changes God’s supply,” he said. “God is still the source… but the way God supplies changes.” Whether a job ends or a new idea emerges, Savchuk pointed to Philippians 4:19: “God will supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

10. A Call to Step Out in Faith

“A new season requires courage to move forward without full clarity,” he said. Quoting Hebrews 11:8, Savchuk reminded, “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go… not knowing where he was going.”

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up-to-date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

As a final encouragement, Pastor Vlad added, “Your seasons may change, but make sure your commitment to God is the same.” He explained that while seasonal transitions may come with stress, “God is not going to remove the stress, but He will increase your strength to meet the demands placed on you in that season.”

And when your scenery changes? “Dress accordingly,” Savchuk advised. “It’s kind of foolish to go barefoot in the snow, and it’s also not wise to walk around with a fur coat in the hot, scorching summer.”

God’s presence doesn’t change—but how we walk with Him in each season might. Be sensitive to His leading and step forward in faith.

Letting God Lead: Prayer Is the Anchor of a Spirit-Led Life

In a recent livestream, Christian content creator Dayne Kamela invited his audience to pause during Holy Week and reflect on what it truly means to let the Lord lead every part of life. His message wasn’t complex or packed with religious jargon—it was honest, heartfelt and anchored in one powerful tool: prayer.

Kamela’s prayer wasn’t just a formality—it was a declaration. “Lord, You’re worthy of being praised and we thank You for the opportunity to sit and gather… even if it’s over social media,” he said. “We can use social media to magnify Your goodness and the reality of who You are.”

But it wasn’t just about community. Kamela drew the focus in closer, praying over each viewer directly: “Each person with me right now has a testimony of You and what You’ve done in their life, Lord. And I pray that they continue to share that testimony… because Your Word says, ‘We’re overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.’”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

He made it personal. “When we have a relationship with You… it makes life so much better. We face persecution, we face difficulties… but it is You who helps sustain us, Lord. You are our sustainer.”

Kamela spoke to the heart of the struggle so many believers face—the temptation to compartmentalize God. “Sometimes in our lives as believers, there are areas in our lives that we actually don’t invite the Lord into,” he admitted. “Because we maybe struggle in that area… or we’re trying to do everything ourselves.”

He gave a practical example from his own journey: “My finances was actually one of the areas I invited him into first and it made such a difference… that was the first thing for me.”

But above all, Kamela came back again and again to the necessity of prayer. “Prayer just transforms my mind. Prayer just gets me on Jesus,” he said. “When my mind gets focused on Him, it steps away from everything else that can easily bring stress, anxiety, worry, fear.”

He reminded his listeners that this isn’t optional—it’s essential. “This is why prayer is so important,” he emphasized. “This is why we have to be a people of prayer.”

Quoting Scripture, Kamela shared Proverbs 16:3 from the New King James Version: “Commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established.” He added, “So how do you commit your works to the Lord? You do them with Him.”

Kamela’s heart behind it all is clear: “The thing that I want in my life every day is the fruit of the Spirit so strong… if I have God’s fruit—if I’ve got great love, great joy, great peace… that’s what I want. That’s what we need more of in this world.”

His encouragement is simple but profound: “Be faithful in the little. Lord, You’ve given me this—I’m going to be faithful in it. I’m going to trust You in it. I’m going to work hard at it ‘cause I’m working for You.”

Kamela closed with this challenge: “Maybe what you need every week is just time and solitude… to separate yourself from some things for a little while. Just sit with Him. Let Him love on you.”

And in that space—of quiet, of surrender, of honest conversation with God—Kamela believes the real transformation begins.

End Times Red Flag: Are We Now Living in the Days of Noah?

Author and researcher L.A. Marzulli says modern science is reviving the sins of Genesis 6, warning that current advances in gene editing may be fulfilling Jesus’ prophecy that the last days would be “as it was in the days of Noah.”

“We are taking genetic material and mixing the seed,” Marzulli said during a recent broadcast. “We’re doing that. Can the rapture be that far off? I don’t know. Not a date setter, but maybe next Wednesday.”

Citing Matthew 24 and the extra-biblical book of Enoch, Marzulli linked contemporary genetic experiments—including the attempted resurrection of extinct species—to the actions of fallen angels before the flood.

“We know the fallen angels sinned against the animal kingdom,” he said. “Read the book of Enoch. That’s why, you know, folks, if you were going to keep one book out of people’s hands, out of the seminaries… Oh, don’t read Enoch!”

Marzulli focused on a Dallas-based biotech company, Colossal Biosciences, that claims to have brought dire wolf pups back using ancient DNA and gene-editing techniques. “They’re able to take some of those genetic attributes and put them in with a normal wolf,” he said. “From my perspective, this is a line… we’re kind of playing God here, aren’t we?”

For Marzulli, this isn’t just a scientific curiosity—it’s a prophetic red flag.

“Jesus warns us it would be like the days of Noah,” he said. “We’re back there again. In modernity. In the present day.”

Marzulli also addressed the theological implications of resurrection, tying genetic science to biblical eschatology. “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, the trump of God,” he said, quoting 1 Thessalonians 4. “The dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”

“If they can retrieve enough DNA to recreate a dire wolf… how much more could God do with our bodies at the Resurrection?” he added.

Marzulli concluded with a reference to Jesus as the “prototype,” pointing to the Shroud of Turin as what he called “forensic proof of the greatest moment in all of history—and that’s the Resurrection of the God-man, Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah.”

The warning is as ancient as it is current: tampering with the divine order has consequences. And if Marzulli is right, those consequences may soon be upon us.

You’ve Been Praying for Breakthrough, This One Bible Story Has the Answer

“Is your past holding you back?”

Rabbi Kirt Schneider asks this question with urgency, sincerity and hope in his recent message. His answer, rooted in Scripture and personal conviction, is clear: through the power of God and the blood of Jesus, you can be set free.

Rabbi Schneider pulls no punches as he addresses how many people live in the shadow of what once was. “Sometimes we don’t understand how what we’ve been through in the past is causing us to be ineffective today,” he says. “Causing us to be ineffective in relationships, perhaps in our career.”

But God, Rabbi Schneider explains, is not distant from these struggles. “He is in the ministry of delivering people from their past,” he says, drawing from the book of Exodus, specifically chapter 14, as a profound example of God’s saving power.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

He recounts how the Lord told Moses to speak to Israel as they faced the Red Sea: “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the Lord…for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.” Rabbi Schneider emphasizes the significance of this moment: “Can you believe with me today that God can set you free?”

For Schneider, this isn’t just about a story from ancient history—it’s a living reality for believers today. “Even though for the whole time of your past days on earth you’ve been experiencing this negative thing, God can set you free from that thing in an instant, just like He did the children of Israel.”

But that freedom doesn’t come without movement. God told Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.” Rabbi Schneider brings the point home: “There comes a time where you need to take a step forward in the right direction…believing He’s going to do something as you go forward.”

The message resonates: staying stuck in the past—wallowing in regret, replaying old failures or listening to voices of shame—will never lead to freedom. “Stop accepting your past as a present reality,” Schneider says, “because once again in Christ Jesus, all things become new.”

The crossing of the Red Sea, he teaches, is symbolic of Christian baptism. “Even as Israel was supernaturally translated from Egypt to the other side of the sea with a brand-new life, you and I also…our past life is buried…and we’re brought up…a brand-new creation.”

He encourages listeners to lift their heads and believe in a future shaped by God’s promises: “Let’s lift up our head. Let’s take our head out of the ground and believe that we’ve been set free. The Scripture tells us that we’ve been released from our sin by His blood.”

The message is hopeful, and Schneider delivers it with passion. “Every day is a brand-new beginning,” he reminds us. “No matter what happened yesterday…because of the blood of Messiah, you start over.”

As believers prepare to celebrate Passover, Rabbi Schneider’s words strike a powerful chord: “Passover is about freedom and deliverance…the ultimate Lamb of God shed His blood on Passover to redeem us and set us free from our sins.”

And that freedom, he insists, is not just theological—it’s deeply personal. “Let go of the past. Don’t let it cling to you anymore. Don’t let Satan’s lies cling to you. You’re destined for glory.”

A timely reminder for all of us.

What If Your Healing Is Just One Scripture Away? Here’s What to Say

If you’ve ever asked God for healing—whether for yourself or a loved one—you’re not alone. For many Christians, the idea of divine healing feels like something that happens to “other people.” But according to Gordon Robertson of The 700 Club, the keys to receiving your miracle are already written in the Word of God—and they’re available to you right now.

“There are keys to healing,” Robertson said in a recent broadcast. “One is the key of announcing it—you say to the mountain, ‘Be removed.’”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

It’s a principle straight from the Bible. Mark 11:23 says, “For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.”

But there’s more to it than just speaking. Robertson emphasized the importance of letting the Word of God take root in your heart: “The other is that you allow the Word to grow and bear fruit in your life—that you see with your eyes, you hear with your ears, you understand, and then you turn so that Jesus can heal you.”

This echoes Jesus’ own words in Matthew 13:15, “For this people’s heart has grown dull, their ears are hard of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I should heal them.”

Robertson describes how a word of knowledge—a moment when God reveals specific details about someone’s condition—can shake us out of disbelief: “Word of knowledge gets your attention. It causes you to turn. You see it, you hear it, and you turn.”

He went on to quote Psalm 103:3: “Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.”

The bottom line? God’s healing isn’t just a hopeful idea—it’s a promise. But receiving it requires action: declaring His Word, allowing it to grow in your heart and responding in faith when you hear it spoken over your situation.

Orwell’s ‘1984’ Isn’t Prophetic, But the Bible Is

When George Orwell wrote ‘1984’ in 1949, readers saw a world that was “dark, twisted and bizarre—but also somehow familiar,” Pastor Tom Hughes recently explained on The Tom Hughes Report.

Though the novel was fiction, set in a future England under oppressive rule, the themes were already beginning to play out in real life. And now, more than 40 years after the actual year 1984, we’re living in a world where Orwell’s dystopia seems less like fiction and more like a mirror.

But Orwell wasn’t a prophet—he was an atheist who understood totalitarianism, not Scripture. “Don’t think of Orwell as a prophet,” Hughes reminds. “He definitely was not.” Yet as Hughes walks through the current cultural and spiritual climate, he points to something far deeper and more accurate than Orwell’s imagination: Bible prophecy.

“Bible prophecy teaches that a global totalitarian government will briefly take control of Earth at some point in the future.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

From that biblical foundation, Hughes breaks down four key understandings of the rise of this totalitarian system and its prophetic parallels. Here’s what he sees unfolding before our very eyes:

1. The Rise of the Global Surveillance State

Orwell imagined the “telescreen”—a two-way device that watched and listened in every home. But he couldn’t have envisioned what we now live with: smart devices in our pockets, cars, homes and workplaces.

“Unlike Orwell’s limited surveillance, modern cameras and microphones are always on… The unimaginably massive level of data they gather can be monitored live while also being stored for later examination.”

The world is already interconnected. The system is already built. Now it just needs a ruler.

2. AI: The Ultimate Enforcer of Control

Artificial Intelligence is no longer theoretical. It’s practical, active and expanding fast.

“Today we see the answer to the totalitarian’s dilemma: AI… At first, if AI suspects you are of nefarious activity, it will send law enforcement… Later, it will be its own law enforcement.”

From regulating your thermostat and fuel allotment to launching autonomous robot enforcers, Hughes paints a clear picture of AI as a tool for global dominance.

“Imagine how Stalin would have loved it if he could have controlled the Soviet Union… through the use of thinking machines.”

3. The War on Truth and Thought Itself

In 1984, the regime used “newspeak” to control thought by changing language. Sound familiar?

“Language deeply influences thought… One of the best ways to change patterns of thought is to change patterns of language.”

Hughes points to Isaiah 5:20 and Malachi 2:17, warning of a world that calls evil good and good evil—even within the church. This war isn’t just political—it’s spiritual.

4. The Apostasy Within the Church

This is perhaps the most sobering point. The deception isn’t just outside the church—it’s inside.

“They rejected the light of God’s word and instead adopted the worldly enlightenment of hell’s own fires.”

Churches are preaching a “Jesus” who isn’t the Jesus of the Bible. They’re affirming sin, grooming children for the world’s wicked systems, and mocking the truth.

“Churches are actively laying the children in their care on Molech’s fiery altar.”

This isn’t just a cultural collapse—it’s a spiritual falling away, just as the Bible warned.

But There’s Hope—and Power

In the midst of all this darkness, Hughes makes it clear: We are not called to fear or silence.

“We walk in righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus promised He would not leave us as orphans (John 14:16–18), and the Holy Spirit is our constant companion, comforter and power source. Romans 8 reminds us that we are more than conquerors—no matter what the beast system throws our way.

This isn’t the time to hide in spiritual bunkers. It’s time to preach the gospel boldly, to be light in darkness and to live with confident expectation of Christ’s return.

“Listen, we are not alone. We are filled, we are surrounded, and permeated with power by God the Holy Spirit.”

The Orwellian world may be rising—but the true Kingdom is coming. And in the meantime, we’re not here by accident. We are here on mission.

“We don’t slow down because we are in the last days.”

Is a Billionaire Helping Build the Antichrist’s Kingdom?

In a recent episode of Prophecy Watchers, Pastor Billy Crone didn’t hold back. With the kind of boldness that has come to define his ministry, Crone posed a provocative question: Is Bill Gates laying the groundwork for the Antichrist?

Crone, who has spent years researching global elites and biblical prophecy, says the pieces are falling into place—and Gates is one of them.

“I will say this without hesitation right now based on my research,” Crone said. “Bill Gates really should be called Kill Gates. He is the biggest mass murderer of mankind.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Yes, those were Crone’s exact words.

That claim stems from what he calls a deep dive into Gates’ business ventures and public activities. He alleges that behind Gates’ philanthropic persona is a darker motive: “Make money and murder people.”

According to Crone, everything Gates is involved in—food, water, vaccines, digital ID technology—is part of a two-pronged strategy. “What motivates every single decision he makes is two things: make money and murder people,” he said.

He pointed to Gates’ investments in agriculture and synthetic meat as an example. “Why is Bill Gates so interested in the food supply? Is he a doctor? Have you seen pictures of him? Is he a spitting image of health? No. Why is Bill Gates so big on food? I’ll tell you why: because he’s going to make money and he’s going to murder people.”

Crone also blasted Gates’ involvement in vaccine development, calling it a profit-driven agenda. “We have him on tape with the COVID pandemic. He made 20-to-1 on his investment on vaccines. It’s on tape. He admitted it. He’s making bank.”

But the most chilling aspect of Crone’s theory revolves around digital identity systems. He says Gates’ push for global digital IDs could be paving the way for the “mark of the beast.”

“You’re laying the whole foundation,” Crone said. “It’s not just bad enough that he’s doing everything to make money, murder people, but whether he knows it or not… he’s helping to build [the Antichrist’s kingdom].”

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up-to-date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

Crone is clear—this isn’t about fearmongering. It’s a wake-up call to believers. “To me, it’s just another way that God’s reminding us that our departure has to be near,” he said. “Because if we’re seeing even down to the individual global elites helping to build what we can verify biblically is the Antichrist kingdom, then how close is our departure?”

The world is shifting rapidly, and Christians need to stay grounded in Scripture—not headlines.

“It’s not just to scare people,” Crone concluded. “It’s about being excited and leading souls to Christ because any other thing, you might be ashamed.”

7 Amazing Truths About the Name of Jesus Every Christian Must Know

We live in a world that is saturated with names, celebrity names, brand names, political names, yet one name still stands above them all: Jesus.

In his latest installment of The Prophet’s Teaching Series, Mike Thompson dives deep into what makes the name of Jesus not just important, but powerful beyond measure.

“The power, the majesty, the glory, the wonder of that holy and blessed name,” Thompson explains. “We give adoration to the name of the person who not only died for our sins, but who was raised on the third day and then He ascended to the right hand of the Father in order to send the Holy Spirit and birth us.”

For believers, the name of Jesus is not just a label—it’s a gateway to salvation, authority and divine inheritance. Thompson pointed to 1 John 3:23, which commands us to “believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another.” But he emphasized the structure of the Greek text, explaining that there’s a difference between believing on and believing in His name.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

“Believing on the name of Jesus is salvation,” he says. “Believing in the name of Jesus is what taps you into the authority and the power of that particular name.”

Throughout his teaching, Thompson highlights how the name of Jesus embodies everything about who He is: “all the authority, character, rank, majesty, power and excellence that the name implies.”

Citing Philippians 2, he reminds listeners that “God has exalted Him and given Him a name above every name… every name in existence, in the spiritual realm, in the natural realm, in history past, in all of the future—there is no name that can measure up.”

One of the most powerful insights Thompson shares is that the authority of Jesus’ name isn’t arbitrary. According to Scripture, the name of Jesus carries power for three specific reasons:

  1. By inheritance – “The DNA of God was in Him,” Thompson explains, referencing Hebrews 1, where Jesus is shown to have received His name as the Son of God.
  2. By conferral – “God gave Him the name that was reserved in heaven,” Thompson says, citing Philippians 2 and Ephesians 1.
  3. By conquest – “By kicking the devil’s butt,” he says plainly. Jesus “destroyed sin, spiritual death, [and] the hold of Satan.”

This triple crown of authority makes the name of Jesus uniquely equipped to carry divine power. Thompson points out, “Everything that the blood of Jesus has purchased for us is released by the name of Jesus. The authority of release is in the name of Jesus.”

He offered seven vital facts that every believer should know about the name of Jesus:

  1. Acts 4:7–10 – The name of Jesus holds the same power and authority as Jesus Himself.
  2. Acts 4:12; Romans 10:13 – We are saved and can only be saved by the name of Jesus.
  3. Acts 2:38 – We are baptized in the name of Jesus.
  4. Ephesians 3:14–15 – When born into the family of God, the name of Jesus belongs to us.
  5. 2 Corinthians 5:20; Mark 16:15–18 – We are ambassadors with the power of attorney to use Jesus’ name.
  6. John 16:23–24 – We pray to the Father in the name of Jesus.
  7. Colossians 3:17 – We are to be totally controlled by the name of Jesus.

“It’s in us, it’s among us, it’s over us, we use it, it comes out of our lips, it’s in our thoughts—all because of the power of the name,” Thompson says.

In a time where everything is being challenged—faith, identity, truth—the one constant believers can trust in is the name of Jesus. As Thompson so clearly states, “You can bank on the name of Jesus. You can trust in the name of Jesus. You can use the name of Jesus with victory.”

And that’s a name worth remembering.
