Is Remarriage After Divorce a Sin? Here’s What the Bible Actually Says

Is remarriage always adultery?

That’s the question Pastor Vlad Savchuk tackled in a recent teaching, diving deep into Scripture’s view on marriage, divorce and restoration. With divorce still prevalent despite declining rates, many believers wrestle with guilt and confusion over remarriage.

“Marriage is a lifelong commitment and many break their vows,” Savchuk said. “Divorce is painful. Even when necessary, it does mark the death of a relationship.”

Savchuk began by tracing the biblical framework starting in the Old Testament. “God’s original design for marriage was permanent,” he said, referencing Genesis 2:24–25. Yet in Deuteronomy 24:1, divorce was permitted because of “some uncleanness,” a term that sparked two opposing interpretations in Jesus’ day.

“The Shammai… thought that some uncleanness refers only to moral reasons, like adultery or unfaithfulness,” he explained. “The second school of thought, Hillel… honestly for any reason, like a wife could have bad breath or bad cooking.”

Jesus aligned with the stricter view. “Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery,” Savchuk quoted from Matthew 19:9. He noted the disciples’ shocked reaction in the next verse: “It is better not to marry.”

In cases of infidelity, Savchuk emphasized, “He doesn’t require it because… God divorces Israel for their unfaithfulness. Yet He asks them to repent… hoping for reconciliation and restoration.”

Turning to the apostle Paul, Savchuk quoted 1 Corinthians 7:10–11: “A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband.” He added, “That’s pretty straightforward. Pretty much, believers, don’t leave your spouse.”

However, Paul also recognized abandonment by an unbelieving spouse as valid grounds for divorce. “But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace.”

Savchuk addressed abuse carefully. While not explicitly stated as a ground for divorce, he pointed to 1 Corinthians 7:15: “‘God has called us to peace,’ does suggest that separation may be necessary for safety.”

So when is remarriage not a sin?

Savchuk offered three biblical conditions: “If divorce happened because of adultery, the faithful spouse may remarry. If a spouse passed away, remarriage is allowed. If an unbeliever abandoned the marriage, the believer is free to remarry.”

He warned that remarriage without biblical grounds does carry serious consequences. “According to Matthew 19:9, if divorce occurs without biblical grounds, remarriage results in sin.”

Still, hope remains. “It is not an unpardonable sin,” Savchuk said. “Those who recognize their mistake and repent, can receive and should seek God’s forgiveness.”

To those who’ve remarried outside biblical grounds, he advised, “Confess and repent before God. Do seek wise counsel and honor the current marriage covenant rather than breaking it again.”

Quoting 1 Samuel 12:20, he reminded believers: “‘You have certainly done wrong, but make sure now that you worship the Lord with all your heart, and don’t turn your back on Him.’”

“Marriage is sacred,” Savchuk concluded. “Divorce should never be taken lightly… If someone has divorced and remarried wrongly, there is still grace. But we must recognize the gravity of God’s standards.”

Can Quantum Mechanics Confirm Biblical Supernatural Truths?

In a recent message, Dr. Kevin Zadai connected cutting-edge scientific discovery with ancient spiritual truth, pointing to quantum entanglement as a striking parallel to the believer’s relationship with God.

“There’s this quantum mechanics and there’s quantum physics that has to do with entanglement,” Zadai told his audience. “So I looked up and Einstein said, ‘Oh, that entanglement stuff… it’s spooky.’ I think, OK, if Einstein is saying it’s spooky, I want to know more.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Zadai explained that scientists now observe what appears to be faster-than-light communication between particles, regardless of distance. “He said the intelligence and the connection between particles is faster than thought and the speed of light,” Zadai said of Einstein. “And it doesn’t matter how far you separate the particles from each other, they will find each other and they can talk past the speed of light.”

Zadai, a former commercial airline pilot turned minister, said this reflects the way believers are spiritually bound to their Creator.

“The Lord… said, ‘You’re going to do a course called the entanglement of Yahweh.’ And I was like, ‘Yes, I am.’ Why? Because it felt like rocket fuel. And I thought, you know what? The church needs this.”

He drew from his own near-death experience to describe what he believes is a divine tethering of identity, destiny and design. “I was at the throne room… and I stood standing right in front of Him and He goes, ‘You know what? You turned out just like I thought of you that day.'”

Throughout his message, Zadai weaves together examples from physics and theology to suggest a spiritual phenomenon supported, or at least mirrored, by science.

“Science is actually observing the very fact that God spoke everything into existence and that it is all attached,” he said. “Which means tonight if I come to you and I give you a word from God and it’s from God—what I do is I attach you to God’s destiny and then you’re attached to it forever.”

He challenged believers to live with boldness rooted in that supernatural connection. “If you attach to it, you become entangled with it. You become entangled with the Word of God. Because that’s Jesus, really.”

Zadai also emphasized the supernatural authority of believers over darkness.

“You’ve got to brag about your God,” he said. “Because the devil’s going to get nervous… because he knows that you can’t stop people that brag about God.”

Einstein’s unease with quantum entanglement, calling it “spooky,” only intensifies the mystery. Zadai believes believers live in the middle of that mystery, intertwined with a realm beyond comprehension.

The question remains: If quantum science now observes entanglement beyond the speed of light, are we just beginning to glimpse the architecture of the spiritual world Scripture has described all along?

Is the Barrier Between Heaven and Earth Breaking? Experts Warn of Supernatural Signs

The line between the natural and the supernatural is growing thinner—and those watching biblical prophecy say we shouldn’t be surprised.

On a recent episode of Prophecy Watchers, Mondo Gonzalez and researcher Josh Peck explored a series of bizarre supernatural phenomena increasingly being reported by believers and skeptics alike. Topping the list? A strange, glowing aerial anomaly known as the “plasmoid orb.”

Peck connected the current surge of supernatural reports to prophetic warnings given by Jesus Himself. “There’s supernatural interference in the days of Noah, uh, with the sons of God and the fallen angels,” Gonzalez says. “We see through the book of Revelation, we see demons being unleashed. We see other angels being… interacting with humanity.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

He continues, “Jesus is the one that opens the seals, but you see the four living creatures involved… you know them saying come. So there’s no doubt this window… that dividing line between realms if you want to say that has been pretty stark. But that’s going to change.”

Gonzalez shows that while many of these events are reserved for the tribulation, birth pains are already visible. “We are seeing the birth pains… as it relates to the beast system being established and implemented and the technology coming into play.”

One of the most peculiar signs is the appearance of what Peck says are called “plasmoid orbs.” When asked to explain, he notes the term “came from a scientific paper that was studying these things.”

The phenomena gained momentum after a viral TikTok video appeared to show a floating orb reacting to the name of Jesus.

“There’s this TikTok video of this woman in broad daylight… she sees something in the sky and she zooms in on her phone… and she’s like hi, you know, who are you? And then but then she says, ‘Uh, do you know Jesus?’ And then the thing starts like vibrating,” Peck recalls. “She’s like, ‘Oh, you do know Jesus. Yes, we love Jesus.’”

Peck couldn’t confirm the authenticity of the video but acknowledged its impact. “It seemed real. Could be faked… but even if it’s not, I don’t know if it’s responding because it doesn’t like the name of Jesus or if it’s like an actual angel… we can’t see the whole thing and we’re just seeing a piece of it.”

After asking his audience if they had witnessed similar events, he said, “Overwhelmingly, I got a lot of people that said that they have seen similar things recently. It’s like a recent phenomena.”

Peck, like others in the prophetic community, urges caution and spiritual discernment. “I really like the L.A. Marzulli approach: Rebuke first, ask questions later. A good angel will never be offended if you try to rebuke it in the name of Jesus.”

The increase in both sightings and serious government interest in UFOs has led many to believe something more than technological is happening.

“There’s several thousand of documented sightings of something strange in the sky,” Gonzalez notes. “There’s others that are truly unexplainable, which is why… our Congress is having… meetings about these unexplainable… unidentified flying objects.”

Peck sees these strange signs as more than just cosmic curiosities. “To me, it’s like time is getting short. You better get right with Jesus.”

For those watching the skies and the prophecies in Scripture, the supernatural is no longer hidden, it’s breaking through.

A Global Ruler Rising? 7 Prophecies Are Unfolding Now

A well-known Bible teacher is warning that world events are unfolding in line with biblical prophecy and pointing to the rise of a global ruler foretold in Scripture.

“Today what I’m emphasizing is that there is a global ruler rising,” John Barnett said in a recent teaching. “Now remember I alluded to this idea of our identification electronically… but I want you to understand that the framework that we’re going to look at the Scriptures—and then through the Scriptures at all the global events—that framework is this right here.”

According to Barnett, seven key prophecies outline the future of humanity and align with current events. Each one, he says, is anchored in the Bible and fits within the broader timeline laid out in the book of Revelation.

“These seven prophecies will determine the destiny of humanity,” he said.

The Seven Prophecies

  1. Psalm 83 – “Describes what I call an Islamic confederacy that seeks Israel’s annihilation… that’s what we call the axis of Iran.”
  2. Ezekiel 38 – “Iran and the ancient geographic area of Russia lead an invasion, a ground invasion of Israel.”
  3. Daniel 9 – “The West ensures Israel’s survival. They do that until the Lord has to step in.”
  4. Zechariah 12 – “There’s a final consummate antisemitism, a global hatred of the chosen people of promise.”
  5. Luke 21 – “There is deadly terror that grips humanity with the weather and health catastrophes.”
  6. Revelation 11 – “There’s global money and global tracking.”
  7. Revelation 13 – “There’s global deception and Satan’s religion becomes the religion of the world.”

Barnett also walked his audience through the layout of Revelation to show how these prophecies fit together.

“Revelation is built in a chronological order around seven clear events,” he explained. He summarized it as follows:

  • Chapters 1–3: The Church on Earth
  • Chapters 4–5 and part of 19: The Church in Heaven
  • Chapters 6–8: The Great Tribulation
  • Chapter 19 (second half): Christ’s Second Coming

A Warning for Today

Barnett warned that current disasters are just the beginning.

“The first half of the tribulation… is just kind of a ramp up of natural disasters,” he said. “It’s not till the second half… that cosmic disasters… all of the oceans die and every creature in it. All of the water is poisoned… all the sunlight ends.”

As for our world now?

“We’re seeing… the growing terror at weather and health catastrophes. And people are feeling it,” he said. “If I’d have said [global tracking] 30 years ago, people wouldn’t have believed it. But now it’s just ‘Yeah, of course.’”

For those watching the signs, you know prophecy is not a distant myth—it’s the roadmap to what’s happening now.

‘The Hour of Testing Has Begun’: Perry Stone Warns Millions of Coming Trials

Christians around the world are walking into what Perry Stone calls “the hour of testing,” a divinely permitted season of intense trials designed to expose what’s truly within a person.

In a recent episode of Manna-Fest, Stone declared, “We’re going to explore that subject today… millions are entering the hour of testing.” Drawing from Revelation 3, he emphasized Jesus’ words to the church of Philadelphia: “Because you have kept my command to persevere, I will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on the earth.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

According to Stone, the phrase “hour of testing” doesn’t just refer to the Great Tribulation but can also apply to severe personal seasons of suffering. “A temptation is a piercing that comes to you and a test that comes to you which actually reveals what is on the inside of you,” he said. “You know, a lot of people boast on how strong they are in the Lord until something happens that puts them through a real test.”

Stone gave examples from Scripture, pointing to Jesus’ own “hour” in the Gospels. “Before it happened, a ship couldn’t drown Him. A storm couldn’t drown Him. They could not stone Him. No one could kill Him. No one could harm Him because he was under a supernatural divine protection from His Father,” he explained. But when Jesus’ hour came, “He is arrested… He’s publicly humiliated… He’s publicly crucified.”

In today’s world, many believers may feel that “all hell has broken loose.” Stone warned, “The test or trial that you’re in is so weird and so intense that you have never seen anything like it.” He added, “Good people will go through an hour of testing.”

To those who mock or persecute others during such times, Stone gave a stern warning: “Let me just tell you… your hour is coming. You are going to reap what you have sown.”

But for the faithful, Stone listed three purposes of this difficult hour:

  1. God lays the axe to the root.
“There’s some things on your tree that shouldn’t be there, and He starts cutting down the tree.”
  2. There has to be a purging.
“The chaff, which is just the trash and the junk hanging on—it’s got to come off, it’s got to be put away, it’s got to be burnt.”
  3. He trims the vine.
“A vine that does not produce fruit will be trimmed… not to harm you. It is to purge you, to make you white, to refine you in the fire.”

Despite the hardship, Stone offered hope: “I’m going to come out like pure gold. I’m going to come out with a better prayer life. I’m going to come out trusting God in a greater way.”

For those who feel the weight of the hour of testing, trust God in the fire. He’s working, often unseen, on your behalf.

‘God Is Not Silent’: Kim Clement’s Prophetic Warnings Now Unfolding

As Donald Trump continues barreling forward in his second presidency, fulfilling a prophecy spoken years before his candidacy gained traction, the words of the late prophet Kim Clement are drawing renewed attention and urgency.

Back in 2007, Clement declared under the unction of the Holy Spirit: “Trump shall become a trumpet.” He later prophesied that Trump would serve two terms, and that while he would not be a praying man when he entered office, he would become one after being baptized in the Holy Spirit.

With Trump now back in office, and spiritual leaders increasingly surrounding him in prayer, many see this prophecy coming to pass.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

In a 2015 word given at The Den in California, Clement prophesied that the glory of God would cover the earth before the rapture, and that revival would break out in the Middle East: “Can you see millions of young men and women in the Middle East being raised up to be a voice crying out Yeshua?”

Today, more nations are aligning with Israel through the Abraham Accords, which Trump has actively pushed to expand in recent months.

During his latest trip to the Middle East, leaders literally rolled out the red carpet for him, pledging new investments and trade deals with the United States.

Clement also warned of spiritual warfare in America, including a plan from radical Islam to infiltrate schools and a “witch” attempting to take power in the White House. He declared that despite temporary setbacks, America would not collapse: “God said, ‘Not while I’m alive. And I happen not to be dying very soon. I died once on a cross. I die no more.’”

That promise appears to be holding. While America continues to wrestle with political unrest, economic uncertainty and spiritual decline, God’s hand of preservation remains evident, especially in the face of widespread governmental corruption now being exposed.

In another word, Clement prophesied, “One of the biggest leaders that has been in hiding shall cry out for help before the summer comes to this nation… I have put agents in their midst who will betray them.” Many observers note that internal betrayals, whistleblowers and unprecedented resignations within Washington align with this revelation.

As the Trump administration pushes for sweeping reforms, bipartisan resistance continues to rise in Congress. Both Republicans and Democrats are pushing back against the rapid changes and new standards of accountability now sweeping through Washington.

Still, Clement foretold of a remnant that would act not in fear, but in faith: “Unbelief is an insult to God. Fear is an insult to God.” He spoke of spiritual walls coming down, eyes being opened like Elisha’s servant, and a rising generation of young men and women anointed to lead both America and the Middle East into prophetic destiny.

Join Charisma Magazine Online to follow everything the Holy Spirit is doing around the world!

Israel, too, remains central. Clement declared it would be supernaturally protected and blessed. He called for believers to support Jewish people in Europe and warned of spiritual betrayal influencing global leaders, including religious ones.

Clement also taught that prophetic moments are connected with divine multiplication. “Wherever there is prophecy, there is always multiplication,” he said, urging believers to respond in faith and action.

Today, the prophetic words Clement shared are not relics of the past. They are unfolding now, in geopolitics, in revival, in the reshaping of America’s leadership and in the realignment of nations.

California Quakes, Prophetic Warnings and the Signs Beneath Our Feet

Three earthquakes in 24 hours. No injuries. No destruction. Yet the message beneath the surface is loud and clear: we’re being warned, and Scripture said it would be so.

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the tremors along California’s infamous San Andreas Fault, the fault line long feared for its potential to unleash what scientists call “The Big One.” These most recent quakes, ranging in magnitude from 2.5 to 2.9, may seem small, but they’re part of a larger story that continues to unfold.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

As reported by the Daily Mail, “Experts are ‘fairly confident that there could be a pretty large earthquake at some point in the next 30 years,’” said Angie Lux of the Berkeley Seismology Lab. Their projections are dire: up to 1,800 deaths, 50,000 injuries, and $200 billion in damages.

It’s not just California. The Cascadia Subduction Zone, a fault line lurking off the coast from northern California to southern Canada, is showing ominous signs too. Scientists now estimate a magnitude 8.0 quake in that region could cause coastal land to sink up to 6.5 feet within just 30 minutes. The result? “An additional 14,350 residents, 22,500 structures and 777 miles of roadway would fall within the post-earthquake floodplain,” the report warns.

So what does all this have to do with the Bible? Everything.

Jesus told us plainly in Matthew 24:7 that “there will be earthquakes in various places” as signs of the last days. He didn’t say every quake would be catastrophic, but He did say they would be consistent.

That’s exactly what we’re seeing: persistent seismic rumblings on a planet groaning under the weight of sin and awaiting redemption (Rom. 8:22).

Dr. Sue Hough of the USGS acknowledged, “There are conflicting studies about what signs precede a major earthquake.” But for believers, the ultimate signs aren’t from scientists, they’re from the Savior. He told us to watch, to be ready and to discern the times.

This isn’t about fear, it’s about faith. The ground may shake, but God’s Word stands firm. These earthquakes aren’t random. They’re reminders. Are we paying attention?

As these prophetic tremors ripple through the earth, maybe it’s time we let them shake us awake, not just physically, but spiritually.

Could America Be Cursed? Trump’s Gaza Vision vs. God’s Promise to Israel

During his Middle East tour, President Donald Trump once again made headlines, this time with a bold and controversial proposal regarding the war-torn Gaza Strip.

While meeting with business leaders in Doha, Trump reflected on the horrors of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led terror attack on Israel, calling it “one of the worst days in the history of the world, not only in this region.”

“More than 5,000 terrorists burst into the south of the country on that day,” he said, referring to the deadly assault that left 1,200 mostly civilians dead and 251 hostages taken into Gaza. “Hamas,” Trump declared, “is going to have to be dealt with.”

But his comments didn’t stop at condemnation.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Trump proposed a startling vision for the future of Gaza, stating, “We’re working very hard in Gaza. Gaza has been a territory of death and destruction.” He continued, “I have aerial shots where, I mean, there’s practically no building standing. It’s not like you’re trying to save something. There’s no building. People are living under the rubble of buildings that collapsed, which is not acceptable.”

Then came the statement that sent shockwaves through observers of both politics and prophecy.

“I’d be proud to have the United States have it, take it, make it a freedom zone,” Trump said. “I have concepts for Gaza that I think are very good. Make it a freedom zone. Let the United States get involved and make it just a freedom zone.”

While the exact implications of what “take it” means remain unclear, the phrasing is troubling, especially for those who take God’s covenant with Israel seriously.

America Must Tread Carefully With God’s Promises

The Bible is unambiguous when it comes to the land of Israel. God promised the land to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

In Genesis 17:8, God declares, “I will give to you and your descendants after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession.” This wasn’t a temporary deal, nor was it subject to foreign development schemes, however well-intentioned.

Scripture also recounts how Israel failed to fully take the land as commanded, resulting in centuries of war, turmoil, and foreign oppression. The ongoing conflict in the region isn’t just political—it’s deeply spiritual.

While America supporting Israel militarily or diplomatically is one thing, claiming or taking land—especially with unclear intentions—crosses a dangerous line. God’s warning in Joel 3:2 is sobering: “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.”

Turning Gaza into a “freedom zone” sounds noble, but if it means America takes possession of any part of the land promised by God to Israel, then we risk inviting holy judgment. It is one thing to be invited to help stabilize a region; it is entirely another to presume ownership over what God has already decreed belongs to His people.

President Trump’s desire to restore order and prosperity is commendable, but we must not oppose the will of God in the process.

America has been blessed in part because of our historic support of Israel (Gen. 12:3). Let us not now become a nation that brings a curse upon itself by interfering with what God has ordained.

Now that President Trump has reestablished a faith office within his administration, it would behoove him to seek godly counsel on matters as spiritually sensitive as the land of Israel.

This is not just a political issue, it’s a covenant issue. Scripture is clear about the land God promised to Israel, and any move to “take” what the Lord has already given could have serious consequences. One of the many Spirit-filled Christians serving in his faith advisory team must speak up, reminding the administration that “The land shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine” (Lev. 25:23).

Wise leadership listens to the counsel of those grounded in God’s Word, especially when decisions may intersect with prophetic territory.

Let our prayers be for peace—yes—but also for wisdom. And let the United States never forget: the land of Israel is not up for grabs.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure,'” (Ps. 122:6).

Watch: LA Marzulli Reveals How UFO Disclosure Ties Into Bible Prophecy

UFO sightings, government disclosure and hybrid beings aren’t just tabloid stories—they’re warning signs of the biblical end times, says author and filmmaker L.A. Marzulli. In a recent appearance on the Certainty for Uncertain Times podcast, Marzulli broke down the prophetic significance behind his 10-part documentary series on UFOs, sharing how these phenomena connect directly to Genesis 6, the Nephilim and what he calls “the coming great deception.”

Here are the 10 questions posed to Marzulli during the interview:

What inspired you to create such an extensive series on UFOs?

“I’ve been talking about the coming great deception for decades,” Marzulli said. “The very first novel, Nephilim, the truth is here… there’s a phrase that one of the characters actually presents to the reader, and that is that the whole UFO phenomenon is the coming great deception. That’s a huge statement.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

What’s the overarching message or mission you want people to walk away with after they watch this series?

“[Number] nine and 10 are ‘What is the truth?’… you can see very plainly that there are two paradigms. One is that these are extraterrestrial entities… the other side of the aisle—my side—is no, these are fallen angels with a very nefarious agenda.”

What’s the most shocking or groundbreaking insight people will learn from your series?

“The abduction phenomena, the breeding program, the cattle mutilation stuff—it all goes together. The cattle mutilation film is the most disturbing film I’ve ever worked on. The cow is carved up, udders taken, sex organs taken… and there’s not a drop of blood anywhere.”

Why is this series so crucial for people to watch right now, especially with recent UFO disclosures?

“This is the end time deception. All it takes is one craft—but I think there will be many over the cities of the world. That’s how you get to a one world government and one world religious system. The Bible tells us this is going to happen.”

Do you think these entities might appear before the rapture and become normalized?

“I think we’re moving towards it step by step. If I’m right—and I believe with all my heart that I am—these are not extraterrestrial. They are interdimensional. This is the coming great deception.”

Have you heard about the reported UFO disclosure at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base?

“I don’t know anything about it. I’ve heard rumblings. Wright-Patt is where all the debris from Roswell went. We’ve had pilots that actually flew with the debris and that’s where it went.”

Were angels in their original form created to procreate? How do you justify the belief that they could after falling?

“Why do you think Genesis 6 is there? The sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were beautiful. It’s not the godly line of Seth marrying the [offspring] of Cain. The fallen angels procreate with the women of Earth. That’s an absolute fact.”

Join Charisma Magazine Online to follow everything the Holy Spirit is doing around the world!

After creating this series, did your perspective on UFOs or spiritual warfare change?

“It just becomes more real. The enemy hates what we do. I have to walk a very tight trail with the Lord… but when this happens, it’s too late. When they show up, it’s too late.”

Marzulli ended the interview by reinforcing the urgent need for the church to wake up. “Shame on the pastors who won’t address it,” he said. “Your kids and your grandkids are being indoctrinated. The church isn’t dealing with it. This is the coming great deception.”

Franklin Graham Declares War on Soft Christianity: ‘Preach the Whole Gospel’

Evangelist Franklin Graham is preparing for one of Europe’s largest evangelism gatherings in decades—and he’s not holding back when it comes to preaching the full Gospel message.

The upcoming European Congress on Evangelism in Berlin, will attract more than 1,000 pastors and ministry leaders from 55 nations, which Graham says is critical in a time when “churches are dying.”

“In Germany alone, over a thousand churches last year closed,” Graham said in a recent interview with CBN News. “About over half of them were Catholic churches. The other half are Protestant churches.”

The theme of the congress comes from Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel.” Graham believes the message is vital in an age when many are softening or avoiding the truth of Scripture.

“When you tell a person that they’re a sinner, well, that offends them,” he said. “And when you tell a person that their sins separate them from God, they say, ‘Wait a second. I’m not a bad person.’”

Graham stressed that ministers must not compromise on biblical language. “Let’s don’t talk about sin because sin is offensive… No, it’s not our mistakes, it’s sin.”

He added: “When you say that He died, shed His blood, and He was buried… let’s don’t get into all that right away. So there’s the… we apologize. And Paul just said, ‘I’m not ashamed of it.’ This is what I believe. This is what I stand for. And this is the gospel that we preach.”

Berlin was selected for its historical significance. Graham’s father, Billy Graham, held a major evangelism congress there in 1966. “Berlin was divided in 1966—the East and the West. And so now Germany is together… I think this is just the time to go back to Berlin and let’s make this declaration.”

Graham also spoke about the cultural challenges facing today’s church, especially on issues like sexuality and gender identity. “God created marriage, but it’s between a man and a woman. Not two men, not two women, a man and a woman. And anything outside of that is sin.”

Despite opposition, he believes there is still a hunger for truth. “I think there are people out there want to hear the truth. That’s all. They just want to hear the truth. Quit lying to them. Just tell them the truth.”
