While the deadly conflict with Iran continues, believers in Israel are finding peace and purpose in the midst of devastation, by pointing to the Prince of Peace.

Ellie Birnbaum, Israel director for Jews for Jesus, spoke to CBN News from inside a bomb shelter, where he and others have been taking refuge during relentless rocket barrages. “This is an epic biblical proportion battle we’re in the midst of,” he said. “A rocket fell just about 200 meters from my parents’ house and destroyed a whole building. I think eight people were killed… and 200 were injured.”

Birnbaum described the chaos as “very scary,” with more than 100 ballistic missiles aimed at civilian areas. “We have the Iron Dome… they’re able to stop 95% of them, but those 5% are so deadly and so scary,” he added.

Yet even amid destruction, Birnbaum shared that the Spirit of God is moving.

“In times of storm… Jesus gave us an example of what happens in the storm when he took his disciples through a storm to expose his glory and to grow faith in them,” Birnbaum said. “He actually tells to them, ‘Why are you afraid? Where is your faith?’”

Rather than focusing on fear or geopolitics, Birnbaum urged viewers to recognize where true hope comes from. “God wants to expose, as we go through these crises, where our faith is and who can give us peace. And the only one who can give us peace is Jesus, is Yeshua, who is the Messiah of Israel.”

CBN’s host turned to Scripture to underscore the prophetic significance of the moment. Reading from Ezekiel 37:14, he declared, “I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it.”

The verses surrounding that prophecy were also read aloud as a declaration over Israel: “These bones… are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I’m going to open your graves and bring you up from them.’”

As war escalates and fear spreads, Birnbaum’s message remained anchored in eternal hope. “There’s real people who are affected by it,” he said. “And those real people need hope… and I believe and I’m confident that that only hope is found in the Messiah Yeshua.”

Jews for Jesus has mobilized teams to help first responders while also bringing the Gospel to those suffering in this moment of darkness. “We’re trying to bring some light, some hope in that practically,” Birnbaum said. “But also sharing the deeper hope that we have as we do it.”

He closed with a plea to fellow believers: “Please pray. Keep praying for us as we do our uttermost best to be the hands and feet of Yeshua on the ground here in Israel as we await for His return.”

To pray along with them, believers are invited to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for the innocent victims in Gaza and Iran and for a great spiritual awakening across the Middle East, that the name of Jesus would be declared far and wide.

Kap Chatfield is urging believers to stop guessing and start reading when it comes to the Mark of the Beast. In a recent video, he pointed directly to Scripture to help clear up the confusion that surrounds one of the most talked-about, and misunderstood, topics in Bible prophecy.

Chatfield opened the Bible to Revelation 13:16-17 to read what it actually says: “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave… to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads.”

He made it clear that this isn’t just about money or commerce. “This is not just an economic play. This is actually an allegiance play. This is a play about worship.”

According to Revelation 14:9-11, those who take the mark face eternal judgment. “He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone… and the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever,” Chatfield read. “I don’t know how much Scripture you got to black out with a Sharpie… The Bible is clear. God has a place called hell.”

He also addressed the debate over what the mark might physically be. “Is the mark a tattoo? Is it a microchip? Is it a barcode? Here’s the truth: the Bible doesn’t actually say exactly what that technology is. But it does in fact describe the function.”

The purpose of the mark, he explained, is to show loyalty to the beast. It will be required for people to buy and sell. “It’s going to be placed on the body… the only way that people are going to be able to participate in the economy.”

Chatfield emphasized the importance of learning to trust God now. “If you don’t get comfortable trusting God with your finances now and you miss the rapture, you’re going to be in a world of trouble when the great tribulation happens.”

His message was crystal clear: don’t rely on speculation. Go to the Word of God. “He doesn’t want you to fall into this trap. He doesn’t want you to be eternally separated from God.”

As ballistic missiles rained down on Israel, shattering homes and lives, something unexpected began to stir in the hearts of many Israelis: a deeper openness to faith, not just in God, but in Yeshua, the Hebrew name for Jesus.

Michael Mistretta, CEO of the Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries, joined CBN News from Jerusalem this week to describe the horrifying reality on the ground. “We were thrust awake in the middle of the morning Friday morning, June 13, as Israel decided to do a preemptive strike on Iran,” he said. Iran responded with force. “Iran retaliated about 24 hours later firing over now 370… ballistic missiles… directly at civilians really.”

The attack has left 24 Israelis dead, more than 500 wounded and over 1,200 families homeless. Many are now displaced, seeking refuge and reeling from the loss of everything they once knew. “It’s amazing how our entire reality can shift just in a matter of a couple days,” Mistretta said.

But it’s not just the landscape of Israel that’s changing, it’s the spiritual atmosphere as well.

Mistretta, who leads a network of gospel-centered congregations throughout Israel, said that the war is shaking people’s confidence in the institutions they once trusted, and in that shaking, many are turning to eternal truths.

“Since Oct. 7th, there’s been more openness to who Yeshua, who Jesus is in Israel,” he shared. “Why? Because the things we had our faith in have now been shaken, our government, our military, our intelligence.”

Even Israel’s Iron Dome, often seen as an impenetrable shield, has its limits. “It only prevents 90 to 95% of the missiles,” Mistretta explained. “We’ve had 30 direct missile strikes in the middle of the night… that have been shocking to our country.”

In the middle of this chaos, FIRM has focused on being the hands and feet of Jesus, showing up, loving people, and sharing the Gospel. “Perfect love casts out fear,” Mistretta declared. “And as we show up and serve and be the hands and feet of Yeshua… we know that our faith is going to rub off on them.”

Fear may be rampant, but faith is rising.

“There’s a spiritual reality,” Mistretta said, reflecting on the larger war at hand. “We’re reminded in Scripture that we don’t wage war against flesh and blood… We ask that your kingdom would come, that your will would be done… that you would vanquish evil, you would vanquish darkness.”

As missiles fly and families huddle in bomb shelters, many in Israel are crying out for a peace that only God can provide. And in that desperate hour, the message of Jesus, Yeshua, is breaking through.

“We’re longing for that messianic age where you’ll wipe away every tear and where there will be no more fighting,” Mistretta prayed at the end of the interview. “God, we pray… that your gospel be made known.”

For believers around the world watching this unfold, now is not the time to look away. It’s the time to pray, for the peace of Jerusalem, for comfort in Israel, and even for the Iranian people suffering under an oppressive regime.

And perhaps most of all, to pray that what the enemy meant for evil, God is using for good, to bring His people home, not just physically, but spiritually, to the feet of the Savior.

“Mr President, God spared you in Butler, PA to be the most consequential President in a century—maybe ever,” Huckabee wrote, referencing the recent assassination attempt on Trump. “The decisions on your shoulders I would not want to be made by anyone else.”

In a time of global upheaval and prophetic arrangement, Huckabee pointed to the necessity of God’s guidance over political strategy. “You have many voices speaking to you Sir, but there is only ONE voice that matters.
