Rare 6.1 Earthquake in Gulf Shakes Florida, Prompts Evacuations
A rare 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Gulf of America on Monday, sending tremors across Florida and prompting evacuations in several buildings.
The earthquake was centered west-northwest of Mantua, Cuba, and was felt as far north as Tallahassee. The U.S. Geological Survey received more than 4,000 reports from people who felt the shaking.
In Seminole County, officials said, “Multiple calls have been received at the Emergency Communication Centers (9-1-1). Seminole County employees report feeling the tremor in multiple buildings.”
The statement continued: “Emergency Management is coordinating with healthcare facilities and other critical infrastructure.”

Officials also noted that the fire department responded to “at least one building evacuated for safety.”
Several buildings in the Miami area were evacuated as residents reported swaying structures and shaking furniture.
Walt Disney World Resort confirmed the earthquake was felt in Central Florida.
“An earthquake was felt this afternoon in Central Florida, including Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort,” a statement said.
“There are no reports of injuries or major damage. Our teams are continuing to monitor the situation.”
USGS Earthquake Hazards Program spokesperson Steven Sobieszczyk said aftershocks are possible.
“Given the size of the quake, we would expect further aftershocks over the coming days,” he said.
Despite its strength, officials said the earthquake posed no tsunami threat. The quake is believed to be one of the strongest ever recorded in the Gulf region and the strongest ever recorded near Florida.

Israeli Flags Fly Freely on the Temple Mount as Messianic Fervor Grows
The Temple Mount is changing.
Israeli flags now wave openly atop Judaism’s holiest site. Jewish worshippers pray, sing and ascend the mount in growing numbers. Restrictions that once suppressed visible expressions of Jewish worship continue to fall away as religious fervor gains momentum in Jerusalem.
The Temple Institute celebrated the development in a June 7 social media post.
“SHAVUA TOV FROM THE TEMPLE MOUNT!
“Waving the flag of Israel on the Temple Mount continues unabated. Long forbidden by the police, who still seem to be trying to intimidate by filming the flag wavers, it has become common practice, alongside Jewish prayer and song.
“May the flag of the state of Israel yet wave, forever and ever, over the holy Temple Mount!
“Shavua tov! Have a good week!”
The significance of these developments extends far beyond national pride.
The Temple Mount stands at the center of biblical history. Abraham brought Isaac to this mountain. Solomon built the First Temple there. The Second Temple stood there. Jesus taught there.
Now the site is becoming the focal point of renewed Jewish expectation for the restoration of Temple worship.
Record numbers of Jews continue ascending the Temple Mount each year. Organizations dedicated to Temple preparation have moved from the margins into the mainstream. Priestly garments have been produced. Temple vessels have been recreated. Educational programs train descendants of the priestly line for future service.
These developments carry enormous prophetic significance.
Scripture teaches that a Temple will stand in Jerusalem during the last days:
Jesus spoke of the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place in Matthew 24:15.
Paul wrote that the man of sin will sit in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God in 2 Thessalonians 2:4.
The book of Revelation describes a future Temple that is measured during the Tribulation period.
Those prophecies require a functioning Temple.
That reality does not mean Christians need a rebuilt Temple to worship God.
We do not.
Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 6:19 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers have direct access to the Father. No earthly Temple is necessary for salvation, worship or fellowship with God.
Order Jonathan Cahn’s New Book, “The Altar of Pergamon” on !
Yet Scripture still teaches that a future Temple will exist. Because of that, every step toward Temple restoration matters.
One major requirement remains before traditional Temple service can fully resume: the ashes of the red heifer prescribed in Numbers 19 for purification.
The arrival of red heifers in Israel ignited tremendous interest because the purification process stands at the heart of Temple preparation. Now, many eagerly await a pure red heifer that meets all qualifications, and that is only a matter of time.
The other requirement is leadership willing to authorize the rebuilding of a Temple.
The moment that decision is made, the geopolitical and spiritual landscape of the world will change overnight.
The Temple Mount sits at the crossroads of prophecy, history and faith.
That is why Israeli flags waving from the mount matter.
That is why Jewish prayer on the mount matters.
That is why growing Messianic expectation inside Israel matters.
The world sees political developments. Students of Bible prophecy see something more.
The pieces continue falling into place.
Jerusalem remains at the center of God’s prophetic clock, and the activity surrounding the Temple Mount signals that preparations for the next chapter are accelerating.

The Spiritual Reason Iran May Never Accept Peace With Israel
While most discussions surrounding Iran focus on nuclear negotiations, sanctions and military threats, two Israeli journalists say the deeper issue is spiritual.
During a recent episode of Watchman Newscast, host Erick Stakelbeck spoke with Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani, co-hosts of TBN Israel’s Boots on the Ground, about the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel and Tehran’s regional proxies.
Pinto argued that Iran’s actions cannot be understood through politics alone.
“I would start with it’s a spiritual war,” Pinto said.
According to Pinto, Iran’s leaders view regional conflict through a religious lens.
“According to their radical Shiite doctrine, they need to just open the gates of hell towards everybody around them, especially Israel and the United States,” he said.
Pinto contended that the regime’s worldview makes lasting peace difficult because conflict itself serves a larger purpose.
“They don’t care about peace. They think this is an opportunity to actually fulfill their prophecies,” he said.
Order Jonathan Cahn’s New Book, “The Altar of Pergamon” on !
The comments came during a broader discussion about stalled negotiations between the United States and Iran. Pinto argued that Western leaders often assume peace and stability are the desired outcomes, while Iran’s leadership may be operating from a completely different set of motivations.
“If you come from this understanding, then they don’t care about peace,” he said.
Shoshani echoed the belief that diplomacy has reached a dead end.
“I think at this point it should be clear to many people that there’s a reality in which there is no agreement. Not today, not tomorrow, not in the foreseeable months,” he said.
The interview concluded with a message of hope regarding Israel’s future despite ongoing wars and regional instability.
“I think that God is using Israel today to show the world that He’s still faithful,” Pinto said.
Pointing to Israel’s economic strength and military resilience, he added, “We need to praise God for being faithful and for being able to turn a rough situation into an amazing testimony that he’s in control.”
Stakelbeck echoed that sentiment as the segment ended.
“The God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob neither slumbers nor sleeps,” he said.

This Hidden Work of the Holy Spirit Could Change Your Walk With God
Most Christians know about the Ark of the Covenant.
Many know about the veil, the altar and the Holy of Holies.
Few know about the mirrors.
During a recent interview with Charisma Media, Rabbi Kirt Schneider highlighted an often-overlooked detail in the tabernacle that reveals a powerful truth about spiritual growth, repentance and the work of the Holy Spirit.
The object in question was the brass laver, a basin used by Israel’s priests before they ministered before the Lord.
“One of the pieces of furniture inside the tabernacle once you’re able to see inside is something called the brass laver,” Schneider explained.
The priests came to the laver daily to wash themselves before entering into service. Yet Schneider pointed to a detail many readers miss when studying the book of Exodus.
“The Lord specifically instructed in the Torah that the brass laver, which was that place where the priests came daily to wash themselves, the Lord said it had to be made from the mirrors of the women that ministered outside the doorway of the tent of meeting or the tabernacle.”
The command was deliberate.
“It wasn’t just to be made of brass. It couldn’t just be any brass. It had to be made of the mirrors.”
Every detail of the tabernacle carried meaning because the structure was not man’s idea. It was God’s design.
“The pattern of the tabernacle was given from Hashem himself, from the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ,” Schneider said. “Every measurement, every type of material it was made from, every piece of furniture that was in there, the garb of the priest, every single part of the tabernacle was not the result of mankind trying to figure out how they could build a nice place to come and worship God.”
Order Rabbi Kirt Schneider’s New Book, “The Mystery of the Tabernacle” on !
For Schneider, that means the mirrors were not an accident. They were a lesson.
“When those priests came to the brass laver each day and they leaned over it in the hot desert sun, what did they see? A reflection of themselves.”
That image forms the foundation of Schneider’s teaching.
“What this tells us is if we’re going to be cleansed, we need to allow the Holy Spirit to be our mirror, showing us who we are and the truth about ourselves.”
In an age filled with distractions, noise and constant affirmation, Schneider believes Christians need the ministry of that mirror more than ever.
“The Lord is always wanting to be holding up that mirror in our life so that we can see what it is that he’s wanting to correct, what it is that he’s wanting us to overcome, what it is that we need to change, where do we need to shift.”
The reflection is not intended to bring shame. It is intended to bring transformation.
Schneider pointed to practical areas where the Holy Spirit often works.
“How are you communicating? What’s the energy of your communication? Are you divisive? Are you gossiping? Are you accusing? Are you speaking in fear? Are you putting burdens on people that you shouldn’t be putting burdens on?”
According to Schneider, conviction is evidence of God’s love at work in the life of a believer.
“The Holy Spirit becomes a mirror.”
The response to that mirror determines whether growth follows.
“If we’ll allow him to show us ourselves and say yes to him and agree with him, then what happens is that’s repentance. We are cleansed and transformed.”
The lesson hidden within the brass laver challenges a common assumption about spiritual maturity. Growth is not simply about gaining more knowledge or accumulating more information. It begins with allowing God to reveal what needs to change.
Schneider described the principle in simple terms.
“I think this is huge because I think the only way of transformation is through self-awareness and this is what the Holy Spirit wants to be for us, a sacred mirror.”
Thousands of years ago, priests approached the brass laver before entering deeper into God’s presence. Before they ministered, they stopped and looked.
The Holy Spirit still performs that work today. He reveals what has been hidden. He exposes what must be surrendered. He uncovers attitudes, habits and strongholds that keep believers from walking in greater intimacy with God.
Spiritual growth does not begin by looking around at everyone else. It begins when we allow God to show us ourselves and respond in repentance.
The path to transformation has never changed.

Rabbi’s Trump Warning Reveals a Much Bigger Story Unfolding in Israel
Rabbi Mendel Kessin’s latest comments may appear to center on President Donald Trump and the escalating tensions surrounding Iran, but the veteran Orthodox Jewish teacher’s broader message points to something much larger: a growing expectation among many religious Jews that history is moving toward redemption and the arrival of the Messiah.
In a recent teaching, Kessin expressed concern over Trump’s current approach to Iran, arguing that the former president has drifted from what he believes is a divinely appointed role.
“All of a sudden, Trump is not doing his job, which is amazing,” Kessin said. “He’s being fooled. People cannot believe what this guy is doing — that he’s being fooled by Iran.”
Kessin suggested Trump is motivated by a desire to secure a lasting legacy as a peacemaker.
“I believe he’s concerned with his legacy,” Kessin said. “Maybe he can bring peace, and that will make him an incredible legacy, the president of peace. Maybe he’ll even get the Nobel Peace Prize. He’s been bribed by his own future.”
Yet Trump’s role was not the central focus of Kessin’s message.
Instead, the rabbi repeatedly returned to the subject of redemption and what he believes are signs that the world is approaching a decisive moment in history.
“The behavior that God does at the end of time is different in certain ways than what he does during the ensuing 5,700 years,” Kessin said. “That’s why it looks so bizarre — because we are now at the end of time.”
That statement points to a much larger story unfolding in Israel today.
Conversations about redemption, the Messiah and the future of Jerusalem are increasing throughout Israel’s religious community. Israel stands at the center of international attention. Jerusalem remains one of the most contested cities on earth. The Temple Mount continues to draw religious, political and prophetic interest from around the world.
Order Jonathan Cahn’s New Book, “The Altar of Pergamon” on !
For us as Christians, those developments command attention.
We believe Jesus Christ fulfilled the role of the suffering Messiah at His first coming and will return as King of Kings. Meanwhile, Orthodox Jews continue to await the Messiah’s arrival. Yet both groups find themselves focused on many of the same prophetic themes: Jerusalem, Israel, the Temple Mount and the coming kingdom of God.
Kessin argued that the confusion and uncertainty visible in world events today are part of a larger spiritual test.
“God is going to create a tremendous doubt if the Messiah will even come,” he said. “I’m going to present a difficulty in believing that the redemption will even happen.”
According to Kessin, those challenges are designed to strengthen faith before redemption arrives.
At the same time, significant developments continue to take place in Jerusalem. Debates surrounding Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount remain ongoing. Interest in the future of the Temple continues to grow. Organizations dedicated to preparing priestly garments, sacred vessels and Temple education have brought renewed attention to subjects that were once discussed only in limited circles.
Meanwhile, the world’s attention remains fixed on Israel. Conflicts involving Iran and its proxies, debates over Jerusalem’s future and growing tensions across the Middle East continue to place the Jewish state at the center of global affairs.
That reality echoes the words of the prophet Zechariah.
“I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peoples” (Zech. 12:3).
Thousands of years after that prophecy was written, Jerusalem remains exactly that.
Kessin believes current events are moving toward a predetermined conclusion.
“Please don’t walk around bewildered. Everything makes perfect sense,” he said.
He also expressed confidence that Iran’s current regime will eventually fall.
“Iran will cease — the government of Iran will cease to exist, whether it be done by Trump or not,” Kessin said.
The larger significance of Kessin’s message extends far beyond Trump, Iran or the latest political headlines. His comments reflect a growing expectation inside Israel that redemption is approaching and that history is moving toward its climax.
As Christians, we recognize that many of the conversations taking place in Israel today revolve around the same locations and prophecies Scripture places at the center of the last days. Jerusalem. The Temple Mount. The nations surrounding Israel. The expectation of the Messiah.
Presidents come and go. Political alliances rise and fall. Yet Jerusalem remains at the center of the world’s attention, just as Scripture said it would. As anticipation grows among Jews awaiting the Messiah and among us awaiting Christ’s return, Israel continues to occupy the center stage of prophetic expectation.

Occult Ritual in Plain Sight? Disturbing Report Alleges Animal Sacrifice Inside Office Building
A British investigation has drawn international attention after surveillance footage and social media videos documented a ritual involving a live goat inside a London office building.
According to reporting from London Centric, security footage recorded April 17 shows a man leading a goat into a rented office space in Hackney, East London. Another man entered carrying a folded cage. The animal did not appear on footage leaving the office.
Several hours later, surveillance video reportedly showed men exiting the office carrying containers and a large trash bag. One container appeared to contain what investigators described as horn-like objects.
Videos later posted to social media showed what appeared to be the same goat inside the office. One video showed the animal being restrained by its horns. Another showed the goat lying motionless on the floor while a man knelt nearby, chanting with his hands raised.
The investigation reported that the individual seen bringing the goat into the building has maintained social media accounts featuring ritual activity involving animal remains, including birds, goat heads and animal hearts. Additional videos reviewed by investigators showed ceremonies conducted at locations across London involving animal parts, symbolic objects and ritual displays.
The report identified the man as a practitioner of Quimbanda, an Afro-Brazilian religious tradition that emerged during the transatlantic slave trade. Animal sacrifice has historically been associated with some forms of Quimbanda practice.
No public findings from law enforcement or animal welfare officials have been released regarding the incident.
The footage from London places a spotlight on a reality our culture prefers to ignore. Spiritual darkness is real. Scripture teaches that there is a battle taking place beyond what we can see with our natural eyes.
The apostle Paul warned believers about spiritual deception, writing, “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:14).
Paul also warned that the last days would be marked by increasing moral and spiritual decay. “Know this: In the last days, perilous times will come,” he wrote in 2 Timothy 3.
The pattern is not new. Romans 1:25 describes humanity’s rejection of God, saying people “exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator.”
The book of Revelation paints an even more sobering picture of the end times. Revelation 9:20-21 states that people “did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons and idols” and “did not repent of their murders or of their sorceries.”
Order James Lasher’s New Book, “The Revelation of Jesus” on !
What happened inside that London office remains the subject of public scrutiny. The broader spiritual lesson is clear. Practices rooted in occultism are not disappearing. They are moving into the open. Social media platforms, popular culture and public gatherings increasingly showcase beliefs and rituals that stand in direct opposition to the truth of God’s Word.
We should not be surprised. Scripture warned us these things would occur. As the return of Christ draws nearer, the line between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness becomes increasingly visible.
As disturbing as headlines like these have become, we cannot afford ignorance. Hosea 4:6 records the Lord’s warning: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
We must remain watchful. We must remain grounded in Scripture. We must actively resist the schemes of the enemy. And we must continue shining the light of Jesus Christ into an increasingly dark world.

Amanda Grace: The Pressure You’re Feeling Is a Sign Your Breakthrough Is Near
Many believers have entered this season carrying a weight they cannot fully explain. The pressure has intensified. The opposition feels relentless. The battle has become exhausting.
During a recent broadcast, Amanda Grace delivered a message that explains why.
“The reason many of you feel such heaviness and oppression attempting to bear down on you is because you are on the brink of having one of the largest, most powerful breakthroughs in your life,” Grace said.
Rather than retreating under the pressure, she urged believers to recognize what may be happening beneath the surface.
“And the enemy is attempting to bear down as much pressure, exhaust you, weigh you down, distract you, cause those who are chained in the flesh to act up around you and disrupt your peace.”
Grace said the answer is not to quit but to press forward.
“Now says the Lord is the time to press in, contend,” she said. “My strength is made perfect in your weakness, where you are weak, I the Lord am strong.”

Divine Helpers and Dormant Promises
Throughout the message, Grace repeatedly emphasized that God is positioning His people for breakthrough, restoration and fresh provision.
“As you focus, put your hand to the plow and commit to my way, my purpose and my plans, I the Lord shall fortify the weaknesses,” she said. “I shall cleanse the compromise.”
She also declared that some relationships and assignments are shifting as God prepares believers for a new season.
“The portioned stealers are being removed,” Grace said.
At the same time, she said new people are being brought into place.
“The divine helpers who have been assigned are coming in.”
Grace pointed to what she described as a coming harvest from prayers, sacrifices and acts of obedience that may have seemed forgotten.
“My system of seed time and harvest says the Lord is now awakening seeds planted years ago,” she said. “That have lain dormant shall now be awakened and produce.”
She added, “I am speaking to the harvest and commanding it to accelerate into the hands of those I have found worthy.”
One statement in particular stood out as she described what she believes is ahead for many believers.
“What was delayed a decade shall now come to pass within a year.”
A Call for the Daniels to Rise
Grace also pointed to the biblical example of Daniel, saying God is raising up men and women of wisdom, integrity and spiritual discernment for strategic positions of influence.
“Call in the Daniels says the Lord,” she said. “Call them into the capital, call them into ministries, call them into the corporate arena.”
She said believers should not be intimidated by the shaking taking place around them.
“As the nation shakes, as the nation sifts, the faithful shall rise,” Grace said. “Their influence shall carry.”
The message centered on a recurring theme: God is still in control.
“I the Lord am high above every principality power and might,” Grace said. “I do not bow nor do I concede to the systems of men.”
For believers who have spent months—or even years—waiting for answers, the message carried a clear challenge. Stay faithful. Stay focused. Keep moving forward.
“Walk circumspectly before me. Humble yourselves,” Grace said.
No matter how intense the pressure may feel today, Grace’s message pointed to a hope-filled reality: breakthrough may be far closer than it appears.
“The reason many of you feel such heaviness and oppression attempting to bear down on you is because you are on the brink of having one of the largest most powerful breakthroughs in your life.”
For those who have been standing, praying and believing, the encouragement is simple: Don’t quit now. Keep pressing in. Keep trusting God. The seeds are awakening, the harvest is accelerating and the breakthrough may already be at the door.

Doctor Warns Hellish Near-Death Experiences May Be Far More Common Than Reported
A medical scientist who studied near-death experiences says frightening encounters of Hell during clinical death may be more common than many people realize.
Dr. Orson Wedgwood, a New Zealand-based healthcare researcher and author, told the Daily Mail that negative near-death experiences are likely underreported because many people either do not share them or cannot remember them.
“Some people may not report them because they are ashamed, or some may not remember due to dissociative amnesia, [that is] the experience was so horrific the brain stops them remembering it to avoid reliving the trauma,” Wedgwood said.
According to Wedgwood, only a percentage of people who are clinically dead report near-death experiences. Of those, a smaller percentage describe encounters marked by fear, dread and torment. He believes the true number is much higher.
“Dissociative amnesia due to the experiences being so bad may mean that as people age they are more likely to have a negative experience but are unable to remember — this is psychological not physiological,” he said.
Order Randy Kay’s New Book, “Heaven Encounters” on !
Wedgwood’s research examined scientific studies alongside testimonies from people who reported out-of-body experiences during medical emergencies. His work led him to conclude that reports of both heavenly and hellish encounters deserve serious attention.
One recurring theme in negative experiences involved encounters with hostile beings. Wedgwood recounted testimony from one individual who described hearing voices beyond an open door while outside his body in a hospital room. The voices initially appeared welcoming before becoming violent.
“The pain felt real, and the fear was absolute,” Wedgwood said while recounting the testimony.
He also pointed to research involving consciousness during cardiac arrest. Wedgwood cited a study led by Dr. Sam Parnia that found bursts of brain activity associated with higher cognitive function during extended CPR efforts.
Wedgwood said many researchers have dismissed negative near-death experiences while accepting positive ones. He pointed to a 2019 study published in the journal Memory that found positive and negative near-death experiences shared many of the same characteristics.
“[They] concluded that they share the same set of traits as positive NDEs such as feeling more real than life, timelessness, 360 degree vision and heightened senses, except positive feelings were replaced by dread, fear and horror,” he said.
Discussions about hellish near-death experiences bring to mind the testimony of Bill Wiese, author of the bestselling book 23 Minutes in Hell.
Order Bill Wiese’s Best-Selling Book,”23 Minutes in Hell” on !
Wiese has shared for years that he was shown a place of torment that included overwhelming darkness, extreme heat, demonic creatures, screams of agony and a crushing sense of hopelessness. He described being confined in a prison-like chamber and witnessing suffering beyond anything experienced on earth.
At the center of Wiese’s message is the conviction that hell is real and that Jesus Christ provides a way of salvation through His death and resurrection.
The Bible repeatedly warns about eternal judgment while also proclaiming God’s offer of redemption through Christ. Jesus spoke of both heaven and hell, calling people to repentance and faith.
We do not respond to these accounts with fear. We respond with gratitude for the grace of God and renewed urgency to share the gospel. The same Savior who warned of judgment stretched out His arms on the cross so that no one would perish but have everlasting life.
These testimonies remind us that eternity matters, every soul matters, and the message of Jesus Christ remains humanity’s greatest hope. Our calling is clear: remain faithful, share the gospel boldly and point people to the One who conquered sin and death.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

The End-Times Question Most Christians Never Ask: What Are You Wearing?
For decades, end-times conversations have centered on prophetic timelines, global events, Israel, the Antichrist and signs of Christ’s return.
John Bevere believes many believers are asking the wrong question.
During a recent episode of his podcast, Bevere pointed listeners to a different focus: the condition of the Bride of Christ.
“The question is, is it a big deal to us?” Bevere asked. “His bride?”
Drawing from Revelation 19, Bevere highlighted the passage declaring that the Bride of Christ “has made herself ready.”
“We’re really going to share what you need to know in order to make yourself ready,” he said.
Bevere compared Christ’s return to a wedding day, recalling his own marriage to wife Lisa more than four decades ago. He remembered watching her walk down the aisle in a beautiful white wedding dress after months of preparation.
“I’ve never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life,” he said.
The image led to a challenging question.
“Can you imagine if she showed up at that back of that church and she had on an old wrinkled dress with a bunch of dirt and grime stains on it?” Bevere asked.
“What would it have communicated to me? She wasn’t prepared for this day. She didn’t take it seriously.”
“It wasn’t a big deal to her.”
“It was a big deal to me. It’s a big deal to Jesus.”
Bevere said many Christians spend significant time studying prophetic events while neglecting the personal preparation Scripture emphasizes.
“The marriage of the Lamb has come and His wife has made herself ready,” he said, quoting Revelation 19.
Order John Bevere’s Best-Selling Book, “The Bait of Satan” on !
He pointed listeners to the next verse, which states that the Bride is clothed in fine linen.
“The fine linen is the righteous acts or the righteous works of the saints,” Bevere said.
According to Bevere, every act of obedience contributes to the believer’s wedding garment.
“Every act of obedience is literally producing linen to construct your wedding dress,” he said.
Bevere stressed that salvation is a gift that cannot be earned.
“You can’t do a thing to save yourself. It is the gift of God,” he said.
At the same time, he emphasized that believers are called to respond to God’s grace through obedience.
“We now have the nature to be able to obey His commands,” he said.
The veteran Bible teacher pointed to Jesus’ words regarding the seven churches in Revelation.
“I know all the things you do.”
Bevere noted that Christ repeats the phrase throughout Revelation 2 and 3.
“I remember I was in prayer one day and the Spirit of God said to me, ‘Son, did you notice Jesus didn’t say to one of the seven churches, I know your intentions, or I know what you believe? He said, I know your works or the things you do.'”
For Bevere, readiness for Christ’s return is not measured by knowledge alone.
“The emphasis is our corresponding works of obedience, not merely what we believe,” he said.
He also warned that motives matter as much as actions.
“The garment is clean and bright,” Bevere said. “This speaks to our intentions.”
He contrasted genuine obedience with acts performed for recognition, influence or personal advancement.
“We’re more in ministry because we want people to listen to me and see me and hear me and I’m really into people liking me,” he said. “Now it’s not clean and bright. It’s wrinkled and soiled.”
Throughout the discussion, Bevere repeatedly returned to the importance of spiritual urgency.
“We don’t know the time period of the coming of the Lord,” he said.
Many believers assume they will become serious about God later in life, he said, but preparation for Christ’s return happens daily.
“The happy place is where I’ve got the urgency because I’m deeply in love with Him,” Bevere said. “I want to be the best I can be for Him. I want to be as fruitful as I can be for Him.”
He argued that the central issue of the end times is not identifying every prophetic headline but preparing for a coming wedding.
For that reason, Bevere challenged listeners to look inward rather than outward.
“How ready are we?” he asked.
The answer, he said, is revealed in the garment being woven through daily obedience.
“The bride has made herself ready and it was granted to her to be arrayed in fine linen,” Bevere said.
“We delight in obeying God because we love Him so deeply.”
“If you don’t love Him deeply, maybe perhaps you don’t stand in awe of Him.”
“And knowing God intimately is what gives us strength to walk in obedience to His Word, which is what prepares our wedding garment for that glorious day.”
