How You Can Recognize and Confront Your Unseen Enemy

The charismatic faith community in particular knows that our lives are in the midst of a spiritual battle. And we are not fighting against physical enemies but powers and principalities of the unseen realm.

But not everyone operates out of this knowledge.

In a recent episode of the Revival Lifestyle podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network, Isaiah Saldivar says, “Most believers do not realize that they’re being attacked in the unseen realm. And because they don’t even know that they’re being attacked, … they don’t know how to fight back in the unseen realm.”

Believers will continue to be in bondage until they can recognize the ways in which they are being attacked and the true character and nature of their enemies in the supernatural realm.

If your soul is weary from the fight and you’re ready to know just who your enemy is and how to deal with the attacks, listen to the full episode of the Revival Lifestyle podcast here. {eoa}

How to Tell if Your Church Has a Truly Biblical Worldview

A Barna study showed that 90% of pastors believe the Bible speaks to social, cultural and political issues of the day. But the same survey also showed that 90% of those pastors said they had not nor did they plan on preaching on those same issues. Dr. Jim Garlow, founder of Well Versed World and author of Well Versed, joins Dr. Rick Scarborough on a recent episode of Mixing Church and State God’s Way on the Charisma Podcast Network to discuss the biblical foundation of government.

Dr. Garlow recognizes that, like the pastors in the Barna study, most people would also agree that the Bible addresses relevant topics for today. However, what is not understood, Dr. Garlow says, “is that the Bible speaks to the civil governance of life” as well.

When a church recognizes these truths about the relationship between the Bible and governmental issues, they become a church with a biblical worldview. Dr. Garlow says that means they “apply the lens of Scripture to every issue, including governmental, including all things so-called political.”

Pastors have a unique challenge set before them as they implement a biblical worldview into their church atmosphere. Dr. Garlow says, “We have to be a prophet in the same culture where we want to be an evangelist. We don’t want to offend the people we’re going to lead to Christ.”

His encouragement would be to “understand that you’ll be accused of being on the wrong side of history, but you’re gonna be on the right side of eternity.”

How You Can Conquer Fear and Manifest Healing

So many people today are living in fear. Counselors and therapists across the country report increased levels of stress, anxiety and other mental and psychological problems as we continue to face the coronavirus pandemic, racial tensions and other issues.

But there is another way. Author and healing minister Joan Hunter tells host Kathy DeGraw on a recent episode of the Prophetic Spiritual Warfare podcast, “Fear comes in to kill, steal and destroy. Yes, the enemy comes in. But it’s really fear that comes in. And right now, fear is literally running rampant in the United States.”

She shares with Kathy about a visitation from the Lord that a friend experienced, saying he was overwhelmed with the power of God’s presence. “But while Jesus is in the background, the spirit of fear comes in, in a beam. And the spirit of fear comes up to him and tells him, ‘Jim, I want you to tell your people, which is the body of Christ, ‘Thank you for feeding me.’ The spirit of fear said, ‘Tell them thank you for feeding me.’ And then all of a sudden, boom, spirit of fear left, and [my friend] didn’t have fear.”

“And this is the problem, Hunter explained. “People are feeding that spirit of fear like never before. And it is obese, because we’re feeding it so much.”

So how do we get rid of that fear? “Fear and faith are absolute opposites of each other,” says Hunter. “And when you have fear, then you can’t have faith. They fight, OK? So faith can overcome fear. And this is what we need to do: We need to praise Him. We need to have an attitude of gratitude. Even though it rhymes, it’s still the truth, and the attitude is to stay very worshipful and spend time worshipping.”

But Hunter revealed another component. “You know, I don’t want to say spend time rebuking the devil. But it says to cast down vain imaginations. So anything that is not of God, we have the power to cast it down and to condemn it and command to go.”

“What if it doesn’t?” she asked. “That’s not an option. That’s not even an option to think, Well, what if it doesn’t go? No, you don’t give up. You’re in a battle. You fight for what’s right.”

How You Can Unlock Heavenly and Demonic Realms

Our focus on the negative things of this world—COVID-19, lootings, racism, you name it—may have more of a spiritual impact than we realize. On this episode of Unleashed with Derrick Gates on the Charisma Podcast Network, Gates is joined by Dr. Shiva Johnson, who reveals how quantum physics unlock heavenly and demonic realms, and the importance of being aware of what we are speaking into existence.

Dr. Johnson breaks down quantum physics and as Gates suggests, explains it as if to a “2-year-old.” She says, “Your thoughts and your emotions generate electricity in the body. … So that means your thoughts and your emotions generate waves from you. So you give off waves based on your thoughts and your emotions.”

This is especially important for followers of Jesus to take note of, Dr. Johnson says: “Now if you have heavenly thoughts and feelings, like thoughts of peace, joy, love and gentleness, you’re giving off frequency—the waves that you give off—are the frequencies of the heavenly realms.”

She adds, “Faith causes you to emit the right frequencies, which open up the portal to heaven. … But if you give off frequencies of jealousy, envy, depression, rejection, pride, these are frequencies in common with the realms of darkness.”

Gates observes: “So we have the ability to reach out past our own dimension and reach into another dimension, where all these miracles, signs and wonders are taking place.”

And then just like a radio that can get set to according to the frequency you set it on and can get tuned to different stations, Dr. Johnson says when we give off negative frequencies, “your being gets tuned to the wrong realm.”

Are you tuning into the realm of glory or darkness? Find out on the full episode here. {eoa}

How This TV Producer Learned Powerful, Prophetic Lessons From Reinhard Bonnke’s Global Crusades

As a newbie TV producer on Reinhard Bonnke’s crusade team in 1986 in Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana, Dr. Berin Gilfillan got to witness the incredible healing of five blind people. And yet his focus was on those who were not healed. Through this, Gilfillan learned a valuable lesson from Reinhard Bonnke: “You can either focus on what God is doing, or you can focus on what God isn’t doing.”

This ultimately proved just a steppingstone to the life lessons Gilfillan learned from his time with the crusade team. He recalls a time when they traveled to the Soviet Union, and just days before the crusade was to take place, Bonnke’s visa was denied. Thankfully, there was someone to still lead the crusade in his absence. Gilfillan was relieved, but then the second in command, Peter Vandenberg, fell ill with malaria. Only by the grace of God, Gilfillan says, did he recover and still have the strength to lead the crusade.

Gilfillan remembers most vividly from this crusade the Christians who witnessed it, saying, “We never thought we’d ever see this again, when the gospel would be openly preached and proclaimed here in the Soviet Union. How many of our brothers and sisters who perished in the Gulag, who perished in a Siberian prison or a concentration camp, how many of them wept tears and cried out to God for the day that the gospel again would be proclaimed openly?”

Gilfillan reflects, “I saw a hunger, I saw a cry, I felt something that I had not felt in such a long time. And in the middle of this campaign, as this harvest was unfolding, and as Peter’s strength was getting back, the Spirit of God came upon Peter, and he began to prophesy.”

To learn the lessons Gilfillan learned through his time with the crusade and the prophecy the Lord gave to Peter Vandenberg in that historic season, listen to the full episode of Lessons From Legends on the Charisma Podcast Network here. {eoa}

Prophetic Word: The Holy Spirit Is Breathing the Second Wind

On this episode of Take Ten With Jenn on the Charisma Podcast Network Jennifer Eivaz declares a prophetic word over the coming months.

She says:

“I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit with clarity about how I was to position my heart for this coming fall—you know, September through November—and He told me to have faith in the fall, and you won’t fail in the fall. …

“It doesn’t mean we won’t have some very real challenges. But we have a clear remedy for whatever comes our way. … I have faith that this fall is going to be a great season of faith or being positioned to overcome something. …

“And the Holy Spirit breathed the word over me during my time of prayer in the early morning hours, and His voice came as a breath with clarity, and He said, ‘The second wind.’

“When you’ve been running hard, you feel like you run out of energy and breath and you want to just stop and then you get that second wind, which is a sudden burst of fresh energy, and it comes out of nowhere. Now equipped with fresh and renewed strength. You then pick up your pace and finish your course instead of quitting in the middle. And that’s what the Holy Spirit is doing. He’s breathing the second wind upon us.”

For more on how the Holy Spirit’s second wind will affect us in the fall, listen to the full episode here.

Former Satanist: When You Live in Fear, You’re Giving the Devil Real Estate

We hear a lot about fear in the media these days, so much so that fear has almost become normalized. We have fears for our health, fears for our children and fears for the future. But should fear be normal in the life of a believer?

On a recent episode of the Prophetic Spiritual Warfare podcast, host Kathy DeGraw and guest John Ramirez say a collective no. Ramirez, a former Satanist who was, as he says, “a general in the kingdom of darkness,” tells listeners, “Fear is a choice. I can be fearful; who can be courageous? It’s a decision that you make.” His new book, Destroying Fear, unpacks this topic and helps bring believers into the courageous identity God has intended for them all along.

“If I go with the fear situation, then I’m unable to do the ministry God called me to do. I’m paralyzed,” Ramirez says. “I’m not really functioning on the level God called me to function. Fear is unbelief. You don’t believe that God can set you free. You don’t believe that God’s bigger than the devil that’s in front of you. And fear is a choice. … This is the way fear starts. It starts with worry. And then anxiety comes in; step two, anxiety. And then after anxiety comes fear, and after fear comes torment.

“If you keep opening the doors, all the devil is going to do, he’s going to take real estate off your spiritual life,” Ramirez says.

Listen as DeGraw and Ramirez remind believers of the truth of their best friend, Holy Spirit, and the power He provides to break off chains of fear. Click here for the entire podcast.

How You Can Manifest Your Calling in the 7 Mountains of Influence

As liberal theology spreads throughout our culture, and more and more people seemingly fall prey to the devil’s exploits, it is more important than ever for Christians to live lives that point others back to Jesus before it’s too late. Can America be restored? Find out on this episode of The Kingdom Ready Podcast With Todd Smith on the Charisma Podcast Network as he’s joined by founder and president of Marketplace Leaders Ministry Os Hillman.

There are specific areas to which Hillman says we are called to leverage our influence—A “Seven Mountains Strategy.” He says this strategy “represents seven areas of culture like arts and entertainment, media, government, education, business, family and church.”

If Christians are going to impact culture, Hillman says, “We’ve got to focus our attention on helping [other] Christians live out their faith in those areas, because that’s where people often establish their values and beliefs.”

Our models are biblical examples like Daniel, Nehemiah and Joseph. Hillman calls them “marketplace ministers” who “used their influence with God to influence culture.”

Host Todd Smith admits, “America is on a downward spiral.” But he says, “We’re not fully collapsed yet. And we could use our spheres of influence to redirect the culture.”

Hillman agrees, “I think that we, as the body of Christ, have to utilize the gifting that He’s given all of us to really be salt and light in these areas like never before.”

The time is now. We cannot wait. Learn how to step into your calling to live out your faith with this seven mountains strategy in the full episode here. {eoa}

Bill Wiese: Did Jesus Talk About Hell?

23 Minutes in Hell‘s Bill Wiese says Jesus spoke about hell more than any other person in the Bible. If we do not believe in an eternal hell, then we call Jesus a liar. He spoke of hell in 46 separate verses.

Do we reject what Jesus said because it’s offensive? Do we risk our own eternity and believe our own opinion as truth? In Matthew 25:46, Jesus said, “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

The word for “everlasting” and “eternal” are the same word: aionios. Just as heaven is an everlasting location, so is hell. If there is no hell, then why did Jesus Christ die a horrific death and rise from the dead? To save us from what?

Yes, Jesus talked about hell. He warned us because He loves us. We must turn from our stubborn pride and sin, acknowledge our need for forgiveness and receive Him as our Lord and Savior, or we will end up in hell.

Will you believe what He said?
