Former Megachurch Pastor Perry Noble Announces Divorce

Perry Noble, the former pastor of NewSpring Church in South Carolina, has announced that he is divorcing his wife of 17 years.

Noble, who issued a statement exclusively through Faithwire on Wednesday, said that he never imagined he would face such a circumstance and asked for prayers and privacy and he and his family navigate the tragic situation.

“This is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever communicated, and I understand it will be even more difficult for many of you to read,” the statement read. “After being married for 17 years, I have found myself in a place I never imagined I would be—as no one who has ever been married ever dreams in a million years that their marriage will one day end in divorce.” {eoa}

Jim Bakker: We Are Living the Joel 2 Prophecies

God has a plan, and He gives His plans to His prophets, Jim Bakker says.

One of those plans was detailed in the book of Joel as the prophet revealed what will happen in the end times.

We’re seeing many of those signs now. Take a look!

Lysa TerKeurst: ‘Long Story Short, I Have Breast Cancer’

Proverbs 31 Ministries founder Lysa TerKeurst returned to social media with a big announcement recently.

“Long story short, I have breast cancer,” TerKeurst shares in a video posted on her professional page. “I really am fine, but I think because I’ve been through so much in the past couple of years with my other surgery and my different dynamics going on with my family, I just kinda dreaded telling you.”

TerKeurst, who has been on sabbatical since June, previously announced her separation from her husband, Art, in June.

“Not one prayer you’ve whispered on behalf of my family has been wasted. God is moving and we are so thankful,” she posted to Facebook. “Art and I are both praying for a miracle and walking the road to healing. We are clinging to the promises of God on this journey full of twists and turns, ups and downs. There is often a process God will take people through to prepare us for the Promise. We are a work in process. And this process is often messy and unpredictable. I don’t know exactly what tomorrow will look like but I do know who I’ll be looking to … The Lord … whose love is unfailing and whose hand is the safest place to entrust my hope.”

TerKeurst says her time away gave her the opportunity to discover her breast cancer.

Franklin Graham, Ronnie Floyd, Kari Jobe Issue Urgent Call to Prayer

As the country grapples with yet another act of terrorism, many people ask again: “How could this happen?”

Eight people were killed last night when Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov plowed into a bike path with a rented Home Depot truck. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the suspect was radicalized domestically.

As more information trickles in, many in the Christian community are lifting their hearts in prayer. Here’s what they’re saying:

Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference

After hearing of the the terror attack in New York, I once again returned to the all too familiar place of prayer, mourning and heartbreak for all the lives that have been lost to yet another act of senseless violence. We pray for the family members and loved ones of the victims and we pray also for the city of New York that has once again been the target of terror.

We are all tired of reading the headlines of more innocent people being killed. We all long for the day when civilians are no longer targeted by lone wolves roaming our streets. But we must also remember that a lone wolf is no match for the power of our unity and the foundations of our shared values. The best of our people, our institutions, our families and our faith cannot and will not be shaken if we remember from where and from whom our strength comes from. May we choose to respond to this tragedy in love and with common cause as Americans. May this cowardly act only serve to strengthen our conviction that love and light will triumph over darkness.

Ronnie Floyd, president of the National Day of Prayer

Today every pastor in every church in America must pray for everyone affected by last night’s act of terror in New York City. We must pray specially for the families of the eight people who lost their lives and for those who were injured, for they will bear the physical and psychological scars of this terrible attack for the rest of their lives. Let’s pray with genuine faith and conviction, remembering the hope we have in Jesus, who said to us, ‘In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’

James Dobson, founder of Family Talk Radio

Every new act of terror that targets innocent lives is a tragic and terrible reminder of the evil that exists in our world. This particular attack is perhaps made even more painful by its proximity to the World Trade Center. Make no mistake, this is pure cowardice veiled in violence. True bravery belongs to the first responders and specifically the police officer credited with helping end this violence before even more were injured or killed.

We pray for the people of New York, many of whom are likely reliving the pain of 9/11 all over again. We pray also for the families who have lost loved ones on what should have been a normal fall day like any other. Finally we pray for the end of the hateful ideology that gives birth to these senseless and barbaric acts.

Greg Laurie, founder of Harvest America

Our nation has been touched by yet another barbaric act of terrorism. This time eight lives have been taken from us and a dozen more injured, only blocks from the site of the World Trade Center. Today we mourn the senseless loss of life and the attack on our way of life, but we must never allow violence and hatred of this kind to shake us from the foundations of our faith. As Christians, we take heart, knowing that in the end all evil will be defeated and goodness and love will win the day.

We pray for the city of New York, which has just experienced its most deadly act of terror since 9/11. We pray also for the victims’ families and loved ones left behind, that they will find peace in the weeks and months ahead. We also pray that God would bring redemption from this tragedy, as only He can, reminding us all that it’s in Christ alone that we can find true and lasting hope.

Bishop Joseph D’Souza, moderating bishop of the Good Shepherd Church of India and president of the All India Christian Council

I’m deeply grieved to hear terror has once again struck American soil and claimed the lives of eight innocent people, the majority which were foreign nationals from Argentina and Belgium. We must recognize that these violent attacks — wherever they’re committed and specially when they’re carried in the name of religion — are always an act of terror against the world. It’s in the interest of not only terrorism’s obvious targets, like America, Europe and the Middle East, but of the whole world to eradicate this evil once and for all. This latest attack in Manhattan should galvanize our world leaders to work even harder to make their countries safe, for their own citizens and for the citizens of their allies and friends.

Jay Lowder, founder of Jay Lowder Harvest Ministries

In the wake of the Oct. 31 terrorist attack in New York City, it’s more evident than ever that every follower of Christ needs to be intentionally sharing our only hope of the gospel. America is a nation in great turmoil. In recent weeks we have been assaulted by a mass shooting, natural disasters, political upheaval, racial division and even missile threats from abroad. As people are looking for direction, comfort and peace, we as the church must awake from our apathy and slumber to passionately take hold of our assignment to reconcile others to Christ.

This story will be updated throughout today.

Religious Freedom Remains a Key Issue for Evangelicals Who Supported President Trump

On Dec. 5, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in the case of Jack Phillips, a Colorado baker who declined to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple based on his freedom of religion and free speech rights, Fox News recently reported. The case is expected to be one of the landmark decisions of 2018.

What does a cake have to do with the freedoms of millions of American Christians? Everything.

And one SCOTUS justice appointed by President Donald Trump—Neil Gorsuch—may make all the difference in the ruling.

In his new book, God and Donald Trump, award-winning journalist and author Stephen E. Strang highlights the influential evangelical leaders who implored Christians across the nation to educate themselves about what was at stake in the 2016 election, including the crucial issues of religious liberty and Supreme Court appointments. Christians mobilized, prayed and fasted, and Americans elected a new leader that shocked many but, to others, gave the nation a necessary reprieve.

In God and Donald Trump, Strang interviews and cites many evangelical leaders about why they supported the brash billionaire and the urgency they saw in getting Trump elected.

  • In his new book, out on November 7, Strang interviews Cindy Jacobs, co-founder of Generals International and the Reformation Prayer Network, who mobilized 10,000 people for a “prayer walk” in the seven critical states that helped Trump win in November 2016. Men and women walked around courthouses or through towns praying for righteousness to prevail. “It was an urgent, Pentecostal type of prayer,” Jacobs told Strang. This was not just another election, but a battle for the soul of America, and Jacobs’ warriors were engaged in those battles, praying that God’s will would reign in America once again. She received calls from friends in Europe, China and Latin America, who said they were fasting and praying fervently that Trump would be elected. The reason? Conservative Christians believed that if Hillary Clinton won this election it would be “game over” for religious freedom.
  • Leading up to the 2016 election, evangelist Franklin Graham traveled to all 50 states, calling for a “Christian revolution” and asking believers to pray for the nation like never before, as the future of America hung in the balance. “I am not telling anyone who to vote for,” he had said in an open letter. “God can do that. But God’s people have a responsibility to pray for the nation and to vote. … The biggest impact this election will have on our nation will involve who the next president appoints to fill vacancies on the Supreme Court. This will affect the course of America for decades to come.” On the night before the election, Graham prayed for the country during a Facebook Live event shared by an estimated 1.3 million people, once again calling for a Christian revolution and urging every participant to vote. In the 2012 election, 20 million to 30 million Christians stayed home, Graham said, and that made the critical difference. “We can’t let this happen again,” he added “The future of our nation is riding on this election: religious freedom, the Supreme Court, protecting the unborn and our families, and so much more. The Christian voice needs to be heard on November 8 (2016).”
  • Without formally endorsing Trump, Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association, let evangelicals know that it absolutely mattered who our president would be, saying that if men and women with no fear of God are allowed to rule over us, our very way of life will be at stake. The Constitution, the Bill of Rights, freedom of speech and freedom of religion will be at stake. “It is silly to underestimate the power of the executive branch of government,” Wildmon had said. “Secular progressives are on the warpath against Christianity, and they will continue to come after us in many ways, should they win the White House. Yes, God cares about these things. America has been a beacon of light for the world in so many ways based on her Christian heritage.”
  • Focus on the Family founder Dr. James Dobson urged evangelicals to follow the path spelled out in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which says, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” That Old Testament promise has been adopted by Christians all over the world because it outlines a clear prescription for national renewal.

Set for release next week on November 7, almost a year to the day from the 2016 presidential election, God and Donald Trump, which contains a foreword from presidential hopeful and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, takes an incisive look at these and other factors that drove those conservative and evangelical voters to the polls.

Strang is an award-winning journalist and successful businessman who began his career as a newspaper reporter at the Orlando Sentinel. He later founded a Christian publishing house and media company while interviewing and writing about nearly every Christian leader in the country over the past four decades.

Did Greg Laurie Really Say North Korea Would Wipe Out the US?

Greg Laurie did not say North Korea would wipe out the United States in a nuclear war.

The evangelist, who often offers end-times insights, says he was misquoted in an Express UK article.

Laurie set the record straight on Facebook:

Fake News Alert!
I never said “US to be wiped out by North Korea in nuclear war.”
I said North Korea COULD attack us,and of course that is potentially true, at least at this moment.
The Bible does not mention the USA or North Korea in the end times scenario.I am simply calling believers to pray and take this all seriously.
I never said “The prophecy was revealed to me after I read the Bible.”
If you listen to my message in this link, it’s clear what I said.
This was a totally misleading headline.

Previously, Laurie told Faithwire’s Billy Hallowell: “North Korea—this is a big thing. I don’t think people understand. This is no joke,” Laurie said. “This dictator has the power now to deliver nuclear weapons. For a number of years, I’ve been talking about this.”

Cindy Jacobs Issues Urgent Prophetic Insight Ahead of Oct. 31

Prophet Cindy Jacobs is on the ground in Germany to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. She took some time to talk with Charisma News about what is going on both in country and the spiritual realm.

What is happening on the ground right now?

It’s very exciting. There’s great anticipation. This word “Reformation” is on people’s lips. You know, to some of the people actually that aren’t Lutheran, they may not catch the significance in some of the cities, but the church people, you know like the young evangelists … they are just on fire for to see their nations reformed.

I say the two words people are saying are “revival” and “reformation.” We need to have revival. And we also need to make sure our societies are reformed. I think that what has started here is going to go around the world this time not as a reformation of the church but a reformation of our nations. It’s so very exciting to see these young people, they’re out on the streets, witnessing. This one No Limits group, they have been going out by the hundreds, teenagers going out into the streets and seeing incredible miracles. Fifteen-year-olds are praying for blind people, and their eyes are opening. Just really outstanding miracles. This is very encouraging here in Germany, and it’s going to be a groundswell we believe will happen.

I had prophesied when I was here in Berlin in 2007 that some things were coming, I said, “You need to pray right now because terrorism that will try to come to Germany, Islamification of Germany, the economy will shake.” And of course at that time, there weren’t the Syrian refugees, many people from Iran that have come here and other places. Nor had the 2008 economic crisis struck, so they really take that word seriously, many of the leaders, and they did pray, and what’s exciting is now the economy of Germany is very, very strong. And the churches are really ministering to the refugees that came from the Middle East, different parts of the Middle East, and they’re seeing quite a number of salvations and baptisms, and we know that God is really doing great things.

We hear some reports that refugees are only “converting” to be granted asylum. Is that really the case?

We asked about that today, and what they say is that in order to receive that status, they have to go through three months of discipleship. Even if they think they’re coming just to get a status, after three months of being taught of the Lord, they know for sure they’re saved.

What is the significance of the number 500?

I believe after all that time that it is like a hallmark, it’s like the Lord saying He is ready to bring a massive awakening worldwide. Many times in history are just times of celebration, but I’ve talked to many, many leaders and prophetic voices, as well, around the globe, and their consensus is it’s the hinge of history. There’s a real consensus that even as Martin Luther putting the thesis on the door was not uncommon just for theological debate, but it literally was a shot heard around the world, much to Luther’s surprise and persecution. But now God is going to use many many to raise up, to change whole governmental structures, and that many, many will be touched in our societies. We’re excited about that, because it must be done. We’re called to make disciples of nations, and we haven’t done a very good job of that.

How are the Protestant Church and Catholic Church reuniting after 500 years?

We know there has been some movement towards that, where I believe, I don’t know when it happened, but I had heard that the pope apologized for what happened with Luther, to the Lutherans. … I was talking to somebody about that today. I believe that we’re in a John 17 movement, and in fact, as I was talking to a lot of leaders today here in Berlin, there’s all these Christian leaders who are just coming around this great event, coming up tomorrow.

I believe we’re going to see the greatest move of working together for world evangelization we have ever seen to date. There’s a great awakening of nations that will impact not only America, but many many nations. It’s a harvest of the Lord. It’s pretty remarkable what we’re saying. And also in the Middle East, we’re seeing that, but I believe that Germany as a team is going to bring great change to the church and German oaks are going to be set on fire. They call themselves the German oaks, they’re going to be set on fire for the Lord in a great way, and in many ways impact the whole earth just like Luther did. [And lead the world] back to the Word of God, back to the biblical worldview, and it’s going to shake young and old.

What spiritual battles are happening in Germany between secularists and believers?

We know that it seems like Sharia laws are getting more and more accepted and the pluralism even here in Germany, it’s said that Islam is just the same as any other denomination, which we know is not true. And the people are greatly concerned about that.

I can really see in many ways, I’m not saying people that believe that are the antichrist, but it is a spirit of antichrist that’s trying to come across the earth. … There’s going to be great persecution for us who say that Jesus is the only way. And of course we’re seeing that in America as well, but I believe that the Bible says every knee shall bow. And I believe that we have just begun to see the awakening, the revival.

We’ve all read about revival, we’ve seen some awakening, we’ve seen some historical moves of God. I’ve been privileged to be part of it in different nations, but nothing like what we’re getting ready to see. I believe the greatest generation of young people are rising up that are going to be on fire for the Lord.

There’s been a movement here called the Holy Revolutionaries, and they just have gone out to the streets and prayed and prayerwalking. We see some things that are greatly disturbing in Europe, but in the middle of that, there’s many reformers rising up. There’s all these reformation movements happening.

What are you sensing in your spirit about this event?

I will say that we can expect to see, whether it’s visible or not, exactly this Great Awakening. I believe that tomorrow, as I said earlier, is a hinge, tomorrow is a time where people are going to start rising up in their governments. There are going to be surprise elections around the world, where people are going to get into office, even what we’ve seen in the U.S., where leaders are going to rise, and they’re going to start making incredible godly decisions, and those who don’t are going to be shifted out of office.

It’s going to be a time of great clashing. It’s going to be a time of great governmental shaking. There’s still more shaking to take place. I know we’ve had some terrible things happen, which I am not happy about, but we’re going to see more and more, from things shaking, nation rising up against nation. But the end result of this, even though Satan is bringing many of these things, God will work it for good.

I mean, I believe, for instance, that God is hardening the heart of Kim Jong Un so that he won’t be able to stay in office anymore. I believe God is hardening his heart just like Pharaoh; He hardened Pharaoh’s heart. That man, that dictator is going to come down, and God has a plan, and He’s not going to let him just stay in office. Somehow, He’s going to bring him down.

I remember when God gave me a prophecy that Saddam Hussein would not only be taken out of office, the cup of judgment was full for him, but he would be brought before a war crimes tribunal, and he would be executed. I pray he’s saved, I mean we want Kim Jong Un to be saved, but it happened. Kim Jong Un is not going to be able to stay. It’s his time for God to judge him, and he will be pulled down. It’s a great time of shaking, and tomorrow is a demarcation day for that.

… Expect a great acceleration of the gospel, a great shaking, even in 2018, great contrast, light and dark, we’re going to see it. We will protest against the enemy in a great way in 2018. The Lord told me that there is going to be a movement that is going to happen where prodigals start coming home. We’re going to see the power of the Holy Spirit pour out. We’ve just seen a trickle of miracles, but we’re getting ready to see what we have just dreamed.

I have a vision of God’s hand on the switch in heaven, of this great move of God, and tomorrow’s going to be one of those where he pulls the switch, and we’re going to start seeing here and there and all over the U.S. and different places as well, in our schools, we’re going to start seeing a mighty, mighty flowing of the power of God in unusual places. It’s a time of clashing of kingdoms, but it’s a time of great, great victory and awakening.

Celebrate the reformation in your home with this manifesto from Generals International.

Prophecy: Justice Is Being Served Upon the Merciful

Many in the body of Christ have walked through a difficult season of justice, slander, persecution, cursing and other demon-inspired attacks through people.

The strategy is clear: The enemy is trying to put out the fire of the burning ones through a constant assault on character, finances and relationships.

If that’s you, it’s time to celebrate. I heard the Lord say, “Justice served.” Hear the word of the Lord:

“I am releasing judgments in this season—righteous judgments against the enemies of your soul, who have instigated and initiated injustices against you. For I am a God of justice and I release vindication and vengeance in My timing.

“My timing is now for those who have stood in faith and willfully chosen to return good for evil done to them. I am serving up justice for the merciful who have prayed for their persecutors and blessed those who cursed them.

“This is a season of justice. Walk in it.”

If you are growing weary in well-doing when the wrong thing is happening to you, this is reason for rejoicing. You can expect a hearty serving of God’s justice if you have kept your heart right. If you have grown bitter in the battle, now is the time to repent, forgive and otherwise get your heart right so you can see the recompense God wants to pour out.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus told us to bless our enemies—to bless those who curse us (Matt. 5:43-48). He wasn’t talking about blessing the devil, who is the real enemy, but people who the enemy is using to harm us. When you understand the Greek word for bless, you may cringe, but there’s power in obeying this command.

The Greek word for bless is eulogeo. According to The KJV New Testament Greek Lexicon, it means, “to praise, celebrate with praises; to invoke blessings; to consecrate a thing with solemn prayers; to ask God’s blessing on a thing; pray God to bless in one’s use; pronounce a consecratory blessing on; to cause to prosper, to make happy, to bestow blessings on.”

This radical concept of blessing can be difficult to swallow, but the blessings that boomerang back on you will be difficult to contain.

Armed with this revelation, pray blessings on your enemies until you sincerely mean what you pray. This will deliver you from any unforgiveness, increase your authority in the spirit and position you for radical justice in this season.
