Eighteen-year-old Chloe Cole, a self-described “former trans kid,” is leading the fight to protect children from transgender surgeries. Chloe de-transitioned following years of taking puberty blockers and an irreversible double mastectomy at the age of 15.

“We need to stop telling 12-year-olds that they were born wrong, that they are right to reject their own bodies and feel uncomfortable in their own skin. We need to stop telling children that puberty is an option, that they can choose what kind of puberty they will go through. My childhood was ruined along with thousands of de-transitioners that I know through our networks. This needs to stop,” she said.
In her book, Detrans: True Stories of Escaping the Gender Ideology Cult, Mary Margaret Olohan writes that many of these young people wanted to “find themselves” and had no idea of the impact transitioning would have on them.

“They were told that the reason that they didn’t feel comfortable at school, the reason they didn’t have a lot of friends, the reason that they didn’t feel special, is because they weren’t in the right body. And that if they got into this right body that all of their problems would disappear, and they would feel happy and content and fulfilled. And of course, this is a lie,” Olohan told CBN News.

She contends that what proponents label “gender-affirming care” is really puberty and hormone blockers, followed in many cases by gender mutilating surgeries in which there is also no going back.
“A lot of these girls got double mastectomies, which is called ‘top surgery’, before they were legal adults. In fact, I’ve heard of girls who are so mentally ill as all of these young detransitioners are. They were so mentally ill that when they went in for their double mastectomies, they asked the doctors, how long will it take for them to grow back because there’s no understanding of what’s actually going on here,” she said.

“There’s no proper explanations from the doctors about what the ramifications of these procedures are. And so, a lot of these girls go into this thinking that they’re going to emerge looking just like a boy with a perfectly flat chest. But at the end of the day, what they’re left with is very gruesome looking, scars that lace across their chest that are black. So, these are just very invasive and tragic surgeries,” Olohan said.

Christian Genocide in Nigeria: 3 Million Believers Under Siege as Calls for US Intervention Mount

The film focuses on the barbaric assault on the village. People who endured the attack described how 210 villagers were slaughtered in less than 24 hours. The documentary includes horrific images of people burned alive, families attacked and homes destroyed.

Equipping the Persecuted and Truth Nigeria released the documentary to sound the alarm about an ongoing radical Islamic terror campaign to eradicate Nigeria’s Christians. Judd Saul, a missionary and founder of the organization, is calling on the United States government to intervene to stop the religious persecution.

“We need to fight this thing threefold. One, America, as a government, needs to get involved. I’m talking very little of our resources. If we just did the very little bit of push and aggressive foreign policy, throw some sanctions. Whatever it takes, I think we can get a lot of significant intent in this and put a stop to this,” Saul said.
Republican Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey, who has traveled to many dangerous areas in Nigeria, has introduced a resolution in Congress to help stop the attacks fueled by radical Islamic groups like Fulani herdsman, Boko Haram, and other terrorist groups to stop the violence fueled by religious hatred.

Cracker Barrel Takes Trump’s Advice, Reverts to Traditional Logo after Millions in Losses
The Cracker Barrel has junked its new logo and returned to the traditional one after facing a public firestorm and nearly $100 million in losses following a rebranding and redesign of its stores.
The company issued a statement Tuesday, saying, “We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away, and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain.”

Prayer Battle Ignites as California School Board Takes Bold Action
A California school district is fighting a legal battle to defend opening prayer, arguing it’s perfectly permissible to open meetings by invoking God.
Joel Oster, an attorney for Advocates For Faith & Freedom, told CBN News Chino Valley Unified School District has taken decisive legal action to challenge what it believes to be an outdated injunction from the Ninth Circuit Court preventing the school board from opening with prayer.

According to a press release, Oster and his team have “filed a motion to lift the injunction, seeking to establish a policy that permits invocations prior to school board meetings in accordance with long-standing American traditions.”

“About 10 years ago, a lawsuit was filed against Chino Valley claiming that their practice of opening up a school board meeting with prayer violated the Establishment Clause, and the Ninth Circuit agreed and entered an injunction, and they based that injunction on what is called the Lemon Test,” he said, noting that the so-called Lemon Test is no longer in effect after football coach Joe Kennedy successfully won a battle to pray on the 50-yard line.

He continued, “The Supreme Court has now overturned the Lemon Test and said it’s not good law. It doesn’t respect how the Establishment Clause should be enforced [and] should be interpreted.”
Based on Kennedy’s Supreme Court win in Kennedy v. Bremerton School District, Oster said Chino Valley is now going to the courts and pushing back on the injunction against prayer, arguing it should be “cast aside” in light of the Lemon Test being tossed.

Congressman Donalds has stood out among the influencers who have supported Donald Trump’s rise to the top. And some liberal media outlets have even called him “the most influential Black Republican in MAGA.” But to label him like that misses the larger point: Byron Donalds is a Tea Party originalist, constitutional conservative, and one of the best messengers out there.

In CBN’s nearly one-hour interview with Donalds, which took place before the Cracker Barrel rebranding, he hit on a number of topics. Being a finance guy, cutting spending is on top of the list, a key to America’s future.
“There are members in both chambers who would say, ‘Oh, we can’t cut, let’s do that later,'” Donalds tells CBN News. “The problem is, there is no later. There is now…this town has never cut spending. Ever.”

“I’m not going to be intimidated by your yelling,” says Donalds. “If you want to have a constructive conversation, let’s do that. I’m all for that but if you want to yell, there’s the door. You can get out, and then we’ll continue…I could be political and just tell everybody what they want to hear but I’m not in this for politics. I’m in this to put the country in the right spot.”
How he even got to this spot in his life is compelling. Raised by a single mom on the mean streets of Brooklyn, New York, life wasn’t easy. “My mom just did everything that she could,” Donalds tells CBN News. “She really believed in me, believed in really my laid a great foundation, a no excuses foundation, like, that’s her. She’s no excuses. Dot your I’s, cross your T’s, nothing’s going to be easy.”

And it wasn’t. When his mom lost her job, his grandma had to step in to help pay for private schools because they saw potential. Still, trouble came when Donalds went off to college in Florida. First came a charge for marijuana possession. Those charges were dropped. Then, a couple of years later, he pled no contest to felony theft for depositing a bad check. Those charges were eventually expunged from his record. “I’m not proud of it. Never have been proud of those mistakes,” says Donalds. “But in life, it’s not really how you fall down, it’s how you get up.”

High School Senior Wins Battle to Display Bible Verse
A teenager who fought back after her public school wouldn’t allow her to place a Bible verse on her paid parking space has won her battle.
“Sabrina Steffans will proceed with her original design that was previously rejected by the school because of its religious references,” First Liberty Institute, a religious liberty law firm, said in a statement.

Days after being threatened with litigation, the Grand Island Central School District near Buffalo, New York, decided to reverse course and allow the incoming high school senior to choose a religious design for her space, as the “school’s tradition allows seniors, for a fee, to ‘express themselves’ by decorating their parking space.’”

Steffans told CBN News this week that the potential legal showdown kicked off after two of her drawings of what the space would look like were rejected before a third was eventually allowed.

Pratt has said this experience helped both stir and firm up his faith.
“He had all of these issues going on,” Pratt told The Christian Post earlier this year. “I prayed hard to God. I was in a season of transition spiritually at that time, and didn’t quite fully understand. I made a deal with God again: ‘I’m sorry, God, here I am again, asking for your grace again.’ And He really saved my son, and that was the moment [my faith] was cemented. My heart softened, and my faith hardened.”

Teen Issues School Ultimatum Over Alleged Bible Verse Ban
A high school senior who claims she was banned from painting biblical messages on her student parking spot is fighting back.
Sabrina Steffens, a senior at Grand Island High School near Buffalo, New York, told CBN News that seniors at her school are allowed to personalize their paid parking spots. But when she attempted to have verses and Christian art painted on hers, the school reportedly refused.

Now, Steffens and First Liberty attorney Keisha Russell are threatening to take legal action if the school district doesn’t reverse course.

Russell said First Liberty decided to help after hearing Steffens’ story, as the conservative legal firm has fought — and won — similar battles.

“For some reason, I find [school districts] to be some of the most hostile actors when it comes to religious liberty, which is unfortunate,” she said. “Our case with Coach [Joe] Kennedy and how that played out, and I’m also representing a school teacher in Connecticut who’s been a veteran teacher for 32 years, and she was kicked out of the classroom because she keeps a crucifix by her desk.”

Grand Canyon University Heralds Yet Another Victory in Years-Long Battle With Federal Government: ‘Unjust’
Months after the U.S. Department of Education rescinded its historic fine against Grand Canyon University (GCU), a Christian college in Phoenix, Arizona, the school has scored another major victory: a separate lawsuit from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) was also dropped.
The FTC sued GCU in late 2023, alleging the school deceived students about costs associated with doctoral studies and had engaged in what it saw as illegal telemarketing practices. At the time, the FTC said the “university, its marketer, and its CEO deceptively advertised the cost and course requirements of its doctoral programs and its nonprofit status, and made illegal calls to consumers.”
That lawsuit, which originated just months after the Department of Education levied its own defunct fine, is now officially suspended.

“The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) voted unanimously [Friday] to dismiss its lawsuit against Grand Canyon University’s largest service provider — Grand Canyon Education — and Brian Mueller, ending years of coordinated lawfare by government officials under the Biden Administration against the largest Christian university in the country,” a GCU statement sent to CBN News read.
All parties have reportedly filed a joint Stipulation of Dismissal with Prejudice with the court. FTC Chairman Andrew N. Ferguson joined Commissioners Melissa Holyoak and Mark R. Meador in releasing a statement confirming the news.
“This case, which we inherited from the previous administration, was filed nearly two years ago and has suffered losses in two motions to dismiss,” the statement read, going on to note the recent Department of Education victory as well. “In its reduced form, this case presents consumers very little upside relative to the cost of pursuing it to completion.”
Commissioners said recent victories for GCU make it “imprudent to continue expending Commission resources on a lost cause.” Citing a duty to taxpayers, the FTC said it decided to stop pursuing the case. GCU sees this as yet another victory.

GCU President Brian Mueller also spoke out on the matter in a statement, pushing back on allegations levied against his college and affirming his belief that the lawsuits were part of a “coordinated effort by former officials within the Biden Administration to undermine a thriving Christian university.”
“As we have stated from the beginning, not only were these accusations false, but the opposite is true,” he said. “We go above and beyond what is required in our disclosures and are recognized as a leader in this area.”
Mueller continued, “They threw everything they had at us for four years, and yet, despite every unjust accusation leveled against us, we have not only survived but have continued to thrive as a university. That is a testament, first and foremost, to the strength and dedication of our faculty, staff, students and their families. Above all, it speaks to our unwavering belief that the truth would ultimately prevail.”
Mueller made similar claims earlier this year, telling CBN News in May he believes the government was unfairly targeting his school. At the time, he was heralding the dismissal of the massive $37.7 million fine from the Education Department.
At the same time, the Department of Education also confirmed the decision to CBN News and a spokesperson pledged not to “persecute and prosecute colleges and universities based on their religious affiliation,” accusing the previous administration of doing so.
GCU’s years-long battle with the Department of Education caught more media attention than the FTC battle due to the historic size and scope of the fine, with the Biden administration taking what Mueller saw as an aggressive approach.
“This thing all started six years ago, when we reverted to our nonprofit status and it was approved by everybody, and including the [Internal Revenue Service], who has the authority to do it — and the expertise to do it,” he told CBN in May. “And so we tried to work with the [Education] Department because everybody else approved our nonprofit status, which was important for a lot of reasons to the university.”

GCU’s clash with the government started years ago — and quickly went south when the parties couldn’t come to an understanding. Mueller said GCU ended up filing a complaint when the school wasn’t making progress with the Department of Education, a move he believes sparked more problems for the school.
“Once we filed a complaint, they started retaliation and they opened up five different investigations that literally [have] cost us millions of dollars to defend ourselves,” he said. “They looked at thousands, and thousands, and thousands of documents and eventually centered on, ‘We think you misled your doctoral students around the time and cost to complete degree.’”
Mueller insisted there was nothing nefarious or misleading going on surrounding the doctoral program and GCU refused to pay the fine.
“Obviously, we’re not going to accept that,” he said. “Not only did they say we misled them, but they fined us $37 million, which was the largest fine in the history of the Department of Education. We said that we were not in the mood to negotiate a single penny of that.”
Mueller continued, “We wouldn’t pay even a dollar, because, not only is it not true, the opposite is true.”
He said the Trump administration “took a fresh look” at the fine and the case and decided to drop it, stating the Department of Education now believes there’s “absolutely no substantial evidence here that … GCU misled any students.”
“They reversed the decision, which was obviously a huge win for us,” Mueller said. “We’re not surprised by it. We thought that that would happen, but we’re thankful that that happened.”

After that earlier victory, Mueller said the IRS conducted an additional audit of GCU’s nonprofit status and found everything to be in order, marking another “major win” for the school. The FTC win seems to have officially closed the long chapter on GCU’s clash with the federal government.
When asked if he believes the now-dismissed, massive Education Department fine was motivated by anti-religious or political biases, Mueller responded that he “absolutely” believes it was.
“There is no other substantial reason for the incredible attacks that they’ve levied,” he said, noting GCU has had bipartisan support.

Trump Advances Peace Talks, Commits to US Security Support for Ukraine: ‘We’ll Be Involved’
President Trump is once again working with Russia’s Vladimir Putin to move forward with peace talks. After a day of intense diplomacy at the White House, the President hopes to arrange a one-on-one between Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Putin, eventually leading to a 3-party summit to bring an end to the fighting.
Monday, world leaders gathered in Washington to offer assurances to Ukraine’s president. Arriving at the White House, President Zelenskyy received a warm welcome from President Trump, who appeared pleased the leader was wearing a suit and not his usual army green. A reporter asked him, “What security guarantees do you need from President Trump to be able to make a deal? Is it American troops, intelligence, equipment, what is it?” And Zelenskyy replied, “Everything. It depends on the big countries, on the United States, on, on a lot of our friends.”

Trump confirmed, “We’re going to make sure that, if this peace, a peace is going to stay long term. This is a very long-term. We’re not talking about a two-year peace, and then we end up in this mess again.”
