During his speech, President Trump told the story of a little girl named Hannah Allen from Honey Grove, TX, who organized some friends to pray for an injured fellow student. “The school principal declared that Hannah’s generous act of love was prohibited from taking place in front of the other students. Didn’t like it. The principal didn’t like it, can you imagine?”

The Military Is Turning to the Chaplain Corps More and More: ‘God’s Working in This’
From a pier in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Coast Guard crews launch into some of the branch’s toughest assignments. For Chaplain Genesis Guerrero, the focus goes beyond the mission itself, to the people carrying it out.
“My job is to help the operator complete the mission, and one of the ways I do that is just to care for the operator, whatever that might look like,” Guerrero told CBN News.

Sometimes that looks like early morning walks around base, praying over each cutter crew, small boat mission, and command decision. Daily workouts become connection points, meeting service members where they are. It’s recognizing new faces, remembering injuries, celebrating milestones, and honoring loss. Guerrero says those seemingly small moments often grow into something much bigger.
“A lot of my ministry happens kind of in the margins. It happens when I’m passing by, I’m walking by someone on the boat or in the hallways, or really even just serving food. Just not too long ago, a guy was just telling me about, ‘Hey, I’m, you know, getting over divorce, and this is kind of what’s happening,’ and so that would have never happened had I not been serving alongside that Coastie…That’s what makes this ministry unique…A lot of it is not planned,” Guerrero said.

Crews from Sector San Juan handle everything from maritime safety to the border mission, and what they see on the job isn’t always easy to process. Guerrero provides a rare safe space to talk, with conversations that remain 100 percent confidential.
“When they can let go of that weight, like, ‘Chap, I’ve been holding this in for months. I have not been able to talk to anyone, not even my spouse,’ my hope is that, when they can unburden, so to speak, that way, it’ll free them to do their job better, to be a better spouse, to be a better teammate, to be a better shipmate, to be a better friend. Whatever it might be,” Guerrero explained.

Military chaplains wear many hats. They can provide grief counseling, marriage support, suicide prevention, or even just a quiet moment away from command. They constantly bear witness to the hidden cost of service, offering connection as a lifeline.
“Honestly, that’s one of the reasons why I love this job, is because it’s special, it’s sacred. I know I’m getting emotional, but people invite you into their lives, and usually when I meet with them in that context, it’s the hardest part of their life, the hardest season, and the fact that they would invite me into that, it’s sacred…I honor and I treasure, cherish, that they would trust me with that information,” Guerrero said.

Concerning the Gaza City offensive, Huckabee told us, “It’s what the president (Trump) has been pushing for and saying. It’s what Israel has been pushing for, but I don’t know that they have much of a choice, because Hamas will walk up to the table and pretend they’re going to make some type of deal that would let the hostages go, and then they always walk away, and then they add new conditions.”
He added, “I think these people have to understand the reason this has gone on like it has, with as much suffering as it has, it’s not because of Israel. It’s because of Hamas.”

Netanyahu Shelves Discussion of Judea, Samaria Annexation after UAE Warning
JERUSALEM, Israel – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to shelve a plan to apply Israeli sovereignty to the biblical lands of Judea and Samaria, also known as the West Bank. The plan was scheduled for discussion in a meeting of government ministers on Thursday.
The meeting will now concentrate on the security situation in Judea and Samaria in light of a threat from Western nations to recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations this month.

The Jerusalem Post reports that defense officials are expected to caution ministers that the West Bank “could erupt instantly” during the push for Palestinian statehood.
Netanyahu’s decision to postpone the annexation plan came after a warning from the United Arab Emirates to Israel and President Trump that annexing Judea and Samaria would threaten the Abraham Accords, signed nearly five years ago between Israel and Arab states.

Regional and local council heads from Judea and Samaria have formulated the annexation plan with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to cover more than 80 percent of the biblical lands, leaving a number of Palestinian city-states in the West Bank.
“Beyond the historical, biblical, and moral right of the Jewish people to their land, sovereignty has a paramount security role: to prevent the establishment of an Arab terror state in the heart of our homeland and to secure the safety of Israel’s citizens for generations,” Smotrich declared.

However, in an interview with The Times of Israel, Emirati Special Envoy Lana Nusseibeh insisted, “Annexation would be a red line for my government, and that means there can be no lasting peace. It would foreclose the idea of regional integration and be the death knell of the two-state solution.”

In Biblical Heartland, Judean Brothers Battle with Rifles and Vineyards, Fulfilling Amos’ Prophecy
As the war in Gaza captures headlines, there’s another battle over land in the so-called occupied territories of Judea and Samaria, which much of the world considers the West Bank. Some in this region see their grapevines as a key weapon in their battle.
Just south of Jerusalem, in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria, sits Tekoa, where the ancient prophet Amos lived and foretold that the mountains shall drip with wine.

CBN News traveled to Tekoa, to the vineyard of Yoni and Gadi Afik. They’re answering the prophetic call of Amos to replant the vines in the hills of Judea.
However, modern-day Tekoa stands on the front lines of a very different kind of battle, a battle for the heart and soil of the land of Israel.
Yoni Afik told us, “Agriculture and farms, trees and vineyards at the border – they are like the border between us and our neighbors.”
His brother Gadi asserted, “If you’re not planting, you’re losing your ground.”
The brothers are strengthening Israel’s frontiers, one vine at a time.
Yoni encouraged us, ” Look around you. We are right on the border between the village, Tekoa, and the new vineyard.”
The brothers believe that the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria was given to Israel by God, to settle it peacefully by cultivating the land.

Gadi explained, “Every day (we) work here to guard and keep and watch our lands.”
Yet, on October 7th, 2023, both brothers were called up to the Israel Defense Forces to join the war against Hamas and Hezbollah, trading pruning forks for rifles.
“I got a call from my unit, and they said, ‘We need you,” Yoni recalled. “We didn’t want it, and we wanted to do agriculture.”
During Gadi’s 230-day military service, his wife Chava and their five children kept the frontline vineyards alive.
She admitted that they were terrified and exhausted, but the children learned farming, living out what the prophet said.

Last month, Israel’s government approved a symbolic resolution to once again take control of Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley, which have been under an Israeli military administration since the victory in the 1967 Six-Day War.
The brothers believe they’re partnering with prophecy, according to Amos 9:14:
“I will bring back the captives of My people Israel. They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them. I will plant them in their land, and they shall no longer be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord your God.”
Every vine they plant is more than agriculture. It’s rooting Israel’s future deep into the land.

Gadi contended, “It’s a very deep and spiritual relationship between the grapevine and the people of Israel.”
Our nation was divorced for 2000 years,” Yoni noted. “You can’t divorce from your land. You can’t divorce from your story.”

Another Blood Moon Arrives Sunday at Midpoint of 4 Celestial Signs That Could Have Prophetic Impact
A series of four remarkable celestial signs kicked off this year, which may hold prophetic significance for our world, and the next one arrives on Sunday night, Sept. 7, in the form of a blood moon.
This grouping of significant heavenly events could portend a message about Israel as the Jewish state enters what could be the final stage of its military campaign to defeat Hamas and free Gaza from its terrorist rulers. Near the beginning of 2025, skywatchers had a chance to see the first blood moon, landing right on a special Jewish holy day about Israel’s deliverance from her enemies. It was visible across the U.S. for about an hour, and parts of Latin America, Africa, and Europe also caught a glimpse of the phenomenon.
That first lunar eclipse on Mar. 13-14, 2025, fell directly on Purim as the Jewish people were celebrating the biblical account of Esther in which they were delivered from annihilation at the hands of an enemy named Haman in the Persian Empire, which is modern-day Iran.
The series of four heavenly phenomena includes three lunar events, capped off by a major solar event in 2026. The next sign is set to arrive Sunday night, September 7, 2025, as the Jewish people prepare to celebrate their New Year later in the month.
reports, “The total lunar eclipse will begin globally at 11:28 a.m. (1528 GMT) on Sept. 7, with totality occurring at 1:30 p.m. ET (1730 GMT) and stretching on for a staggering 82 minutes before the deepest part of Earth’s shadow begins to slip from the surface of the lunar disk.” The eclipse will not be visible within the continental U.S.

But this second blood moon is only the halfway point. A third blood moon is ALSO set to fall directly on Purim in 2026.
Bible prophecy experts say lunar eclipses, known as “blood moons,” are tied to events that affect Israel. And with antisemitism spiking around the globe, the ongoing chaos with Hamas in Gaza, Israel’s operations to cripple of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the regime change in Syria, and the general massive Middle East shift that has followed the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, the two Purim blood moons certainly come during a pivotal, historic time.
And just as CBN News forewarned in early 2025, Israel took historic, decisive action in June to neutralize the existential threat posed by the Iranian regime in Tehran. Israel felt compelled to act swiftly as rumors abounded that Iran was close to completing a nuclear weapon that could be deployed to achieve Iran’s stated goal of annihilating the Jewish state.

A blood moon is a full lunar eclipse in which the moon can appear to be an eerie, blood-red color. Blood moons occur when Earth passes directly between the moon and the sun, preventing the sun from reflecting off the moon and casting a reddish shadow over it.
In the first such event on , 2025, the moon turned red for more than an hour over North and South America. The second one on Sept. 7, 2025, will last 82 minutes and will be visible over Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. It lands two weeks before the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, which is a time of prayer and repentance.
Then, the third blood moon will arrive on Purim on Mar. 3, 2026. It will be visible for nearly an hour from Asia to parts of North America.

Christian leaders who study biblical prophecy, like Pastor John Hagee and Pastor Mark Biltz, have contended for years that blood moons portend significant events for Israel and the Middle East and, therefore, the entire world.
Hagee wrote a best-selling book about it called Four Blood Moons. “The heavens are ‘God’s billboard.’ He’s been sending signals to Earth, and we haven’t been picking them up,” Hagee explained a decade ago when talking about a particularly remarkable series of blood moons called a tetrad – that’s four blood moons within a span of two years.
The last time a tetrad took place was from 2014-2015, and all four of those eclipses landed directly on Jewish holidays, coming as the world endured the shocking and horrific rise of ISIS, the highly controversial Iran nuclear deal, and the previous Israeli war with Hamas.

Rudy Giuliani Seriously Injured in Car Crash: ‘Your Prayers Mean the World’
Rudy Giuliani is recovering from a fractured vertebra and other injuries following a car crash in New Hampshire in which he was a passenger, a spokesperson for the former New York City mayor said Sunday.
Giuliani was being driven in a rented Ford Bronco by his spokesperson Ted Goodman when their vehicle was struck from behind by a Honda HR-V driven by a 19-year-old woman late Saturday evening, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement.

Troopers witnessed the crash, which caused both vehicles to hit the highway median and left them “heavily damaged,” state police said. Goodman and the 19-year-old suffered “non-life-threatening injuries” and were taken to hospitals for treatment, the agency added.
State police said they are investigating the crash and no charges have been filed.

Giuliani, 81, was taken to a nearby trauma center and was being treated for a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg, according to a statement posted on X by Michael Ragusa, Giuliani’s head of security.

Giuliani “sustained injuries but is in good spirits and recovering tremendously,” Ragusa said, adding: “This was not a targeted attack.”

Hundreds Choose Christ in Mallorca Party Zone: ‘There Is Such a Tangible Presence of God’
The island of Mallorca, Spain, is often seen as an international party destination. For two weeks this summer, however, hundreds of Christians there shared the love of Jesus through boardwalk prayers, beach services, and ocean baptisms.

“Well, you got to imagine the party zone and there’s a little boardwalk just in front of the discoteque, and people, they step outside just to take a break from drinking and partying. And we are there right in the sand with a little stage. And first, when they see us, they’re kind of perplexed because it’s the last thing they imagine to have somebody talk about Jesus right there,” Elsner described. “They come back every night, they listen to the messages, to the testimonies. Some give their lives to Jesus, and others are even baptized in the ocean.”
The ministry also utilized a party boat for evangelism.

“Usually these boats are used for party tourism, so people would get drunk on the boat, they would listen to music and all that,” he explained. “We filled it half with Christians and half with non-Christians… And then the concept was that we wouldn’t preach at them, but that we only share a small input about the gospel. And those people on the boat that are Christians, they knew what their job was.”
The plan is effective, and many souls have taken their first bold faith step during the ministry’s nightly baptisms.

“Every night when we do the beach services, there are people stepping into the sand, they’re coming to the cross, they’re sharing their life stories, they’re really repenting at the cross, many of them. And if we feel that people are ready and particularly that they haven’t drunk alcohol, we offer to baptize them.”

The Story Behind Christian Chart-Topper Tauren Wells and How He Met Jesus
Known for his seven No. 1 hits on Christian radio and numerous nominations and awards for millions of copies sold, Tauren Wells is also a best-selling author and pastor of a Texas church that has baptized hundreds of people and grown to three worship services in less than two years.
But faith wasn’t always his first priority. It turns out that street hockey – not worship, preaching, or writing – was on Wells’ mind the first time he went to church.

“I remember the first time I walked into a little Pentecostal church in Battle Creek, Michigan. The carpet, chairs, and pews were green. There was a big wooden desk in the center of the stage. There was a preacher up there preaching. I don’t remember what he was saying, but I remember he was mad about it,” Wells said.
This was on the heels of Wells’ father ruining what otherwise would have been a Sunday filled with street hockey and friends.
The end of Wells’ Sunday street hockey began when his parents divorced. His father came home and announced, “‘Ren, we’re going to church. I said, ‘Sir, we are going to church?’ This did not fit into our family culture. I grew up in one of those houses where you weren’t married if you weren’t fighting,” Wells told a Colorado congregation.

As a youngster, he believed people were having fun at a party when police cars and flashing lights showed up at the Wells’ home. “All of a sudden, the fun was over and somebody was going to an adult time out,” Wells recalled.
In preparation for his first visit to church, Wells accompanied his father to JCPenney, where they found a navy-blue blazer with gold buttons and khaki pants to wear.

Walking into the small church, Wells realized he and his father had the most melanin in the room, but neither was bothered by that fact. Instead, the experience was amazing.
“It actually felt like I showed up where somebody was anticipating my arrival,” Wells said.
Saved by Jesus at that first worship service, Wells later went to a summer camp where he heard church music for the first time in 1996. He joined in singing from a brown hymnal with gold, embossed words “Sing Unto The Lord” on the cover.

Following the leader, Wells remembers singing, “O I want to see Him. Look upon His face. Let us sing forever of His saving grace. On the streets of glory, let me lift my voice.”
“I don’t know what it was about the era – maybe the depression – because every song was get me up out of here, singing ‘I’ll fly away, O glory. Morning when I die,'” Wells said.
