Hamas Continues to Defy Trump as Lebanon Leader Signals Shift Toward Israel

JERUSALEM, Israel – Hamas continues to defy President Trump and other leaders by keeping control of its weapons, executing fellow Gazans, and refusing to give up the bodies of most of the deceased hostages. Meanwhile, in Lebanon, some Christian leaders are signaling that it’s time for an end to hostilities with Israel.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump again warned Hamas, saying, “If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them.”

When asked later if his post meant that U.S. troops would go into Gaza, Trump responded, “No, I didn’t say who would go in, but somebody will go in. It’s not going to be us. We won’t have to. There are people very close, very nearby, that will go, and they’ll do the trick very easily. But under our auspices.”

The comments came after reports of Hamas executing Gazans from other clans and the terror group’s refusal to lay down its weapons.

Israel accuses Hamas of breaking the Trump-mediated agreement, having not yet returned all of the deceased hostages. Only nine have been returned so far, with 19 more still held in the Gaza Strip.

Shosh Bedrosian, spokesperson at the National Public Diplomacy Directorate, declared, “A callous, barbaric terror group is continuing to hold onto these bodies, as their families innocently wait to give their loved ones a dignified Jewish burial. Now this is what Israel is up against, and the Prime Minister is determined, committed, and working tirelessly to return all, ALL, of our fallen hostages.”

Still, Israel is allowing the flow of aid into Gaza despite the delay in the return of the hostages.

Miss America FL Winner Lost Her Title for Her Faith, Now Congress Is Honoring Her

A 19-year-old pageant winner who was stripped of her title for adhering to her biblical beliefs on gender and sexuality is now being recognized by Congress as “a modern-day Esther” for standing up for her convictions.

Kayleigh Bush was crowned as the Miss North Florida 2025 pageant winner in August 2024, but was denied the official title months later because she objected to an unbiblical definition of “female” presented in the Miss America contract.

According to the non-profit legal group Liberty Counsel, the Miss America Organization (MAO) revised the contract language after Bush won the title.

“Ultimately, the contract requires female beauty candidates to agree to compete against biological males – who have been subjected to medical mutilation as minor boys – and agree that these mutilated males are ‘female,'” Liberty Counsel, which represented Bush, explained.

Bush initially requested removal of the contract’s definitional language to avoid violating her religious beliefs and over concern for the safety of minor boys.

However, the Miss Florida Scholarship Program, Inc., and the Miss America Organization (MAO) denied her appeal. Liberty Counsel sent a demand letter on her behalf, requesting that they reconsider the contract language and restore Bush’s title so she could move forward in the Florida competition, scheduled for June 25-28, 2025.

In the letter, Liberty Counsel explained that Bush objects to the definition based on her “religious, scientific, political, and moral beliefs that sex is immutable” and that “individuals are born and remain either male or female.”

Gen Z Awakening Reaches Frat House at East Carolina University: ‘There’s a Revival Going On’

More and more Gen Z-ers on college campuses are turning to Jesus, and now the wave of spiritual awakening has even reached a North Carolina fraternity house at one of the country’s top party schools.

It’s definitely not your typical place for a night of prayer and worship, but during a recent gathering called the “Night of Hope,” many young people on campus decided to give their lives to Christ. Instead of partying together, scores of young students recently came at East Carolina University’s Kappa Sigma House to listen intently to the Gospel.

Evangelist Doug Elks explained some key Bible verses to the group: “John 3:16, ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son so that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.’ Romans 5:8, ‘God demonstrates His love in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.'”

The night of prayer, praise and encouragement featured testimonies from Christian athletes, including ECU baseball player Parker Byrd, who lost his leg in a boating accident, before going on to play Division 1.

He said, “I had a total of 22 surgeries in 45 days. Obviously, I had my right leg amputated below the knee… honestly, a lot of you guys are probably like, ‘man that’s awful,’ but it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Chicago Erupts: Rioters Attack ICE Agents as Cartel Puts Bounty on Federal Officials

Federal immigration agents are facing serious threats ranging from angry mobs to drug cartel bounties as tensions mount over the nationwide crackdown on migrants who entered the U.S. illegally.

An incident in Chicago made headlines after it escalated into a clash between ICE agents and local residents on Tuesday.

It started with a car chase through a Chicago neighborhood that ended in a crash and a riot. ICE agents say the driver was an immigrant in the U.S. illegally who was trying to flee arrest.

According to WLS, a DHS spokesperson says the pursuit ended with “illegal aliens ramming law enforcement with their vehicle, which resulted in the arrest of two illegal aliens from Venezuela.” After that, “a violent mob began to surround law enforcement.”

Residents at the scene began throwing eggs and rocks at the agents, who in turn fired tear gas to disperse the crowd.

DHS further addressed rumors about a separate arrest involving an American, saying, “A U.S. citizen teenager threw eggs and hit a CBP Officer in the head. Agents observed him gathering rocks after objects had already been thrown at law enforcement officers. The individual was arrested for the assault and taken to the FBI Field Office in Chicago, where he freely admitted without questioning to throwing eggs at agents. His attorney met with him at the field office, and he was released without charges.”

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker accused ICE of “creating mayhem” rather than the rioters or individuals who were attempting to evade federal agents.

‘New Wave of Religious Persecution’ Hits as Dozens of Pastors Arrested

Dozens of pastors from one of the largest underground churches in China have been detained. It is reportedly the biggest crackdown on Christians by the communist regime since 2018.

Chinese police have detained Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri, the founder of Zion Church, at his home in the southern city of Beihai last Friday evening, his daughter Grace Jin told the media, from the U.S.

The long-time pastor has been under surveillance for years, and he is barred from leaving China.

The house church was started in 2007 and was previously shut down, but has still managed to grow into one of the largest congregations in China. Current estimates have the membership at about 5,000 regular worshippers across nearly 50 cities.

“What just happened is part of a new wave of religious persecution this year,” church spokesperson Sean Long told Reuters, from the U.S.

Ms. Jin told the Wall Street Journal that dozens of other Zion Church pastors and workers were also taken into custody or are missing in cities around the country. Long later confirmed that account, saying about 20 pastors and church leaders remain in detention.

This is not the first time Chinese officials have cracked down on Jin’s church. Jin told CBN News that in August 2018, he refused a government order to install closed-circuit surveillance cameras in the sanctuary.

“A lot of our flock are terrified by the pressure that the government is putting on them,” Jin said. “It’s painful to think that in our own country’s capital, we must pay so dearly just to practice our faith.”

Weeks later, authorities outlawed the 1,500-member church and banned him from preaching.

“It’s probably the largest incident of the government using public power to apply pressure on a house church in the past 10 years, and it is still going on today,” warned Jin.

There are two main types of churches in China: registered and unregistered. Registered congregations, also known as Three-Self Churches, are government-approved because they’ve agreed to obey communist rules.

The other is the underground church. That group of churches isn’t necessarily hidden or secret under the police state of the Chinese Communist Party, but operates outside government control.

For decades, the house churches have faced intense persecution.

Lately, the CCP has been cracking down on the spread of religion over the internet. In September, they issued a new Code of Conduct for Religious Clergy on the Internet, WSJ reports.

Trump Warns Hamas to Disarm or Be Disarmed; Israel Demands Faster Return of Hostage Bodies

President Trump has warned Hamas that the terror group had better disarm in the Gaza Strip or face the consequences. Israel’s military, meanwhile, is pausing its pullback in some areas as Hamas delays in returning the bodies of hostages – a commitment, according to the peace agreement, that should have been completed by Monday.

President Trump cautioned, “We have told them we want disarm and they will disarm. And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them. And it’ll happen quickly and perhaps violently. But they will disarm.”

Israel has temporarily closed the Rafah Crossing into Gaza, accusing Hamas of breaking the agreement. It stipulated that all 48 hostages, alive and deceased, were to be returned by Hamas by noon on Monday, although Hamas said in advance that they couldn’t locate all of the deceased.

Every living hostage has returned to Israel. Overnight, Hamas turned over four more bodies to the International Committee of the Red Cross. Forensics determined one body was not that of a hostage, and was probably a Gaza Palestinian.

Only seven of the 28 presumed to be dead have been returned.

Fabrizio Carboni, head of the Red Cross delegation to the U.S. and Canada, told CBN News’ Faith Nation how important it is for the families to receive the remains.

“It’s not just a point in a peace agreement, it’s something very important for the families, because if you don’t have the mortal remains and the body, you can’t grieve; and more importantly, you don’t know, and you stay in a situation of ambiguous loss, and it’s a permanent state of torture,” Carboni explained.

One of those still waiting is Ela Haimi. Her husband, Tal Haimi, was head of the rapid response security team at Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, less than three miles from the Gaza border.

Haimi went to fight the terrorists invading their kibbutz on October 7th, 2023, and was killed. His body was kidnapped and taken to Gaza. Ela heard the news two months later.

Ela told reporters, “And after two months, (when) I was sure that Tal is alive and that he’s gonna come back soon, the Army officer called me and told me, ‘Ela, Tal is dead.’ And then, in one minute, I had to make a lot of hard decisions: Are we doing a funeral? Will he have a grave, or not? And I thought about the kids to give them the closure. So, we did a funeral and Tal has a grave, a temporary one.

Jaguars Star Travis Hunter, Olympic Gold Medalist Noah Lyles Get Baptized: ‘Leaving My Old Self’

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter and Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles are two prominent athletes who have recently made public declarations of their newfound faith in Jesus Christ.

Both athletes marked a significant step in their spiritual walk by getting baptized — a biblical declaration that their old, sinful life is buried with Christ.

On Sunday, Hunter was baptized before the Jaguars were set to face off against the Seattle Seahawks.

Video of the second-overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft at Celebration Church in Jacksonville, Florida, has gone viral online.

“Couldn’t find my keys this morning and was late for church, only to come upon Jacksonville Jaguars Travis Hunter getting baptized,” wrote Kristine Love, who orgiinially captured video of the moment and posted it on Instagram. “He asked to come get baptized before today’s game. Thank you Jesus for touching this young man’s life!”

The wide receiver and defensive cornerback said getting baptized wasn’t a spontaneous or emotional decision, but was a long time coming.

“It’s Sunday. It’s God’s day. I’ve been planning to go get baptized for a minute,” Hunter told ESPN. “I changed my life over to become a better man.”

“It means a lot. I’m becoming a better man and leaving my old self and starting a new chapter.”

The 22-year-old has had faith mentors throughout the course of his career, including Deion Sanders, who coached him while he was at Jackson State University and the University of Colorado Boulder, ESPN reports.

Olympic Star Baptized with His Fiancée

Meanwhile, USA Track and Field Olympic runner Noah Lyles and his fiancée, Junelle Bromfield, were baptized together in late September.

The couple, who got engaged last October, publicly professed their faith in Christ while being baptized at Alive Church in Orlando, Florida.

The sprinters shared a video of their baptism in a joint post on Instagram. The caption shares a verse out of Joshua 24:15, which reads, “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. 20 Living Israeli Hostages Reunite with Loved ones; Trump in Israel: ‘The War is Over’

After two long years, Israelis today celebrated the freedom of all twenty living hostages from Hamas captivity. While the hostages came home, President Donald Trump landed in Israel to address the Knesset and celebrate the end of the war and the release of the hostages.

After more than 730 days in captivity, the hostages reunited with their families, amid joyous celebrations, mixed with anguish at the pain and abuse they suffered.

While the families received their loved ones, Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu greeted President Trump at Ben Gurion Airport. Trump then traveled straight to Jerusalem, where he addressed members of Israel’s parliament.

Herzog also bestowed Israel’s highest civilian award, the Presidential Medal of Honor, on the U.S. president.

Trump wrote in the Knesset guest book, “This is my great honor. A great and beautiful day. A new beginning.”

While sitting with the prime minister, he said, “The war is over.”

Trump called for peace in the Middle East and was expected to meet with hostage families during his short visit to the Jewish state.

In remarks prepared for the Knesset, Trump declared, “We gather on a day of profound joy, of soaring hope, of renewed faith – and above all, a day to give our deepest thanks to the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

The president also noted, “The cruelty of October 7th struck to the core of humanity itself.
