‘Revival on Halloween Night’: Hundreds Worship Jesus as Baptisms Unfold in Streets of Baton Rouge

Songs of worship and praise rang out on the streets of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Halloween as hundreds of Christians gathered near the Louisiana State University campus for a revival-type event led by worship leader Sean Feucht.

“Worship, salvations, baptisms, and a move of the Holy Spirit taking back Halloween,” the worship leader described on X.

Video footage reveals hundreds of people at the altar lifting up the name of Jesus. And other footage shows people taking part in spontaneous water baptism in a bold declaration that they are giving their lives to God.

“Revival is breaking out tonight in Baton Rouge next to LSU,” the former Bethel worship leader wrote. “Light up the Darkness!”

Feucht shared last week that he was hosting a “Let Us Worship” event at “one of the most famous party schools in America.”

“They typically celebrate with darkness and demonic rage fest on October 31st, but this year we’re flipping the script,” he said in a video ahead of the event. “We’re taking back that day for Jesus. We are bringing light into the darkness.”

“We’re gonna plunder hell tonight and populate heaven in the Bayou,” he wrote on another post.

“Let Us Worship” began during the pandemic, after states began cracking down on churches and banning Sunday services. Feucht took the bold step of creating worship events outdoors, traveling from state to state, to encourage believers and spread revival across America.

Trump Threatens to Send US Military ‘Guns-a-Blazing’ to Nigeria Stop Slaughter of Christians

President Trump is threatening to send the U.S. military to Nigeria to stop the slaughter of Christians. Islamic terror groups there have targeted Christian communities there for decades.

After first denying the problem, the Nigerian government now says it would welcome U.S. help in fighting Muslim insurgents killing Christians, as long as its territorial integrity is respected.

This comes after President Trump warned on Truth Social, the U.S. military stands prepared to go into Nigeria “guns-a-blazing,” claiming the country’s government is allowing Christians to be slaughtered, and adding the Nigerian government better move fast!

When a reporter asked him directly if he could see sending U.S. troops on the ground, Trump replied, “Could be, a lot of things I envisage. A lot of things. They’re killing record numbers of Christians in Nigeria and they have other countries very bad, also. You know that. That part of the world, very bad. They’re killing the Christians and killing them in very large numbers. We’re not going to allow that to happen.”

Estimates of the number of Christians killed in Nigeria from Muslim extremist groups and sectarian violence since 2009 is in the tens of thousands – some claim that it exceeds 100,000.

Jesus Saved His Dad from Satanism, and Freed Him from a Dozen Demons: ‘The Power of the Cross Only’

“Heaven Meets Earth” podcast hosts Abigail Robertson and Ryan Bethea sat down with Hansen as he recounted what it was like growing up in a home where exorcisms were a regular occurrence, where spiritual warfare was tangible, and where angels—towering, radiant, and armed with drawn swords—stood guard outside their home as battles raged within.

Hansen shares that much of his introduction into the spirit realm began with his father, who grew up in a Christian home, but was always drawn to something otherly. He told the hosts that after his father married his mom, he started to take a deeper “trip into the darkness.”

“He was always looking for something more, something other than what he had and always very curious… darkly curious. I guess you could say the typical Ouija board, seances. Not that he was involved, but when he tried to use a Ouija board when he was young, he was fascinated by the sense that he got of a power outside himself, which is what he was always looking for. And that was the impetus that drove him,” he explained.

Hansen said his father began to complete a religious study on the occult, Eastern mysticism, and “all kinds of stuff outside of Christianity.”

“Obviously, Satan is very strategic. He’s very smart. He knows us better than we do as far as a human goes…[he] knows where we’re weak, knows where we’re like, have a leaning towards something. And [those spirits] just push that button again and again. So they knew my dad was very curious, and they brought things to him that kept on triggering the search,” he shared.

Hansen said one of the things “they brought” was a television documentary on the Satanic Church. He said a voice instructed his father to turn on the TV.

“He’s like, ‘Why? Why would I want to turn on the TV?’ And he turned on the TV, and they were doing a documentary on the Satanic Church. And right at the point that he turned on the TV, Anton Levy was leading a (Satanic) ‘church’ service. He’s like, ‘Wow, that looks really familiar and dark, but very interesting.'”

While watching the program, his father renounced his relationship with God and prayed a prayer inviting Satan in.

Hansen recalls his father telling him, “In that instant, the amount of hatred that flowed into his body was overwhelming. And he put words together that he’d never known, you know, would fit, and started to curse and everything. And he said at God and specifically at Jesus.”

“That was the moment that the demons entered him,” he shared. “And from that point is when he just accelerated downward in a spiral and full-fledged for a couple of years worshiped Satan in a very deep and personal and private way.”

Two More Hostage Bodies Returned, War of Words Heats Up over Lebanon as Draft Protesters Shut Down Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, Israel – Massive crowds of religious Jews blocked the entrance to Jerusalem for hours on Thursday, protesting a draft law, as eleven deceased Israeli hostages now remain in Gaza after Hamas returned another two bodies.

In the north, Israel is launching repeated military strikes to counter the potential rearming of the Hezbollah terror group.

Tens of thousands of ultra-Orthodox Jewish men, known as Haredim, demonstrated against a proposed law to draft religious students into the army, as well as the government’s arrest of Haredi draft dodgers. Hundreds clashed with police, and one teenager plunged to his death after climbing to the top of a crane.

One protester declared, “I’m here, and we are all here, to say one message, that we are one people, and we are all Jews. We love each other, and we love you, and you have to love us, and we are all one people. It is not worth to fight with each other, we are all for the Torah, we are the children of the creator of the world in this country. And we all need to be one people. We are all a family.”

Military service in Israel is mandatory except for the ultra-Orthodox, who are exempt. This causes great political and societal friction, especially after two years of war.

David Sherez, a supporter of a mandatory military draft for all, stated, “I’m here today on behalf of all the reservists, all the soldiers, all of the people who were injured in this war, all the families who lost their beloveds. To tell my brothers, the Haredim (the Ultra-Orthodox): join us. There is no contradiction between serving in the Army and serving the Torah and studying Torah.”

Later on Thursday, Hamas returned two more bodies of murdered hostages. Amiram Cooper, 84, one of the founders of Kibbutz Nir Oz, was kidnapped and then murdered in captivity. Sahar Baruch, 25, from Kibbutz Be’eri, was taken from his mother’s home when terrorists raided it. They murdered him during an earlier Israeli military rescue attempt.

The bodies of two Americans are among the 11 remaining in Gaza. Those bodies should have been returned in the first part of the recent deal 18 days ago.

‘Storm of the Century’: Dozens Dead After 185 MPH Hurricane Melissa Devastates Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba

Hurricane Melissa, dubbed “the storm of the century,” continues its destructive path through the Caribbean. Officials across the region report that at least 30 people have been killed so far.

In Jamaica, where the storm first made landfall on Tuesday, the devastation is widespread. Communities are underwater, roads are blocked, and homes have been destroyed. More than 70 percent of the island remains without power. Hurricane Melissa came ashore with sustained winds of 185 miles per hour — stronger than Hurricane Katrina.

Jessica and Shelly Pope, who were vacationing in Jamaica when the storm hit, described the destruction while sheltering at their resort.

“Every inch of the grounds is just decimated,” Jessica said in an interview with CBN’s Faith Nation. “We can’t leave the resort. I don’t know what it’s like outside of here. I imagine it’s just awful.”

The couple said they spent the day after the storm with all of their windows open, trying to air out their flooded third-story room.

“Sandals put all of us in one central building,” Shelly said. “Nobody was on the first floor. Everybody was second floor up. The people on the fourth floor — we were watching the roof blow off like paper.”

Trump Announces US to Test Nuclear Weapons Before Meeting with China’s Xi Jinping

SEOUL – President Trump has announced a major change in U.S. policy on nuclear weapon tests, instructing the Pentagon to begin testing nuclear weapons. The news came as he was set to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

In a post on Truth Social, the president cited China and Russia’s growing nuclear arsenals, writing: “Because of other countries’ testing programs, I have instructed the Department of War to start testing our nuclear weapons on an equal basis.

President George H.W. Bush had invoked a moratorium on nuclear weapons tests after the fall of the Soviet Union.

President Trump made his announcement just minutes before a high-stakes meeting with China’s President Xi Jinping. The two leaders met in South Korea today as the U.S. and China have been engaged in an escalating trade war.

Trump described his meeting with Xi as “great and friendly.”

“President Xi is a great leader of a great country, and I think we’re going to have a fantastic relationship for a long period of time,” Trump said.

“Given our different national conditions, we do not always see eye to eye with each other. And it is normal for the two leading economies of the world to have frictions now and then,” Xi said.

At a South Korean air base in Busan, Trump and Xi spent nearly two hours in closed-door talks — a meeting aimed at stabilizing relations after months of rising friction over trade, technology, and security.

The two leaders did not hold a press conference after the meeting. On the plane home, President Trump described the talks as “amazing,” saying the two nations reached several key agreements.

The U.S. will cut some tariffs on Chinese goods by about 10 percent in exchange for Xi’s commitment to tighten control over chemicals used to make fentanyl. Food Banks See Spike in Need as Government Shutdown Leaves 42 Million Worried About Next Meal

The second-longest government shutdown in U.S. history has millions of Americans worried about how they’re going to feed their families. Senators returned to Capitol Hill on Monday, but so far, there are no signs of a truce.

Funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as SNAP, is set to run dry on Saturday, cutting off food assistance for some 42 million Americans enrolled in the program. That’s more than 12 percent of the U.S. population.

As the deadline approaches, food pantries are seeing a surge in demand.

Beth White of the Central Christian Church Food Pantry in downtown Indianapolis said, “We usually serve between 45 and 50 households, which is about 200 people. Today, we’re at number 76, and we’re still receiving people.”

In Arizona, resident Sherry Wood argued, “There’s no reason why the strongest country in the world, as we claim, is letting our people starve.”

‘Life-Threatening Damage’: Hurricane Melissa Makes Landfall in Cuba After Battering Jamaica

Hurricane Melissa made landfall in eastern Cuba early Wednesday as a Category 3 storm after pummeling Jamaica as a Category 5. Widespread damage in Jamaica has been reported as Melissa slammed ashore near the town of New Hope, destroying homes and businesses.

In Jamaica, the storm hit with winds of 185 mph, causing extensive damage and leaving over half a million people without power. Flooding from Melissa killed at least 40 people in Haiti, as at least 25 of them died after La Digue river burst its banks and flooded nearby homes. Dozens of homes collapsed, and people were still trapped under rubble as of Wednesday morning.

Powerful winds and fallen trees mark the trail of destruction and life-threatening flooding across the island. Roads are unpassable as storm surge up to 13 feet pours in.

The parish of St. Elizabeth is reportedly underwater, and over half a million residents are without power.

Four main hospitals suffered damage, with one losing power, forcing the evacuation of 75 patients. The prime minister of Jamaica declared the entire island a disaster area.

Shantelle Nova was all set for her dream wedding in Jamaica, but the storm flooded the venue and trashed their plans.

“Windows are broken, a lot of water is coming in, so we’re just basically pushing towels and stuff at the doors,” Nova said. “And the level of noise is ridiculous. Trees have really bended over and flew away, and some of our roof is completely off.”
