Don’t Worry: God Will Equip You for His Calling

An encounter with the living God will change everything about you.

If you are afraid of man, an encounter with Jesus will give you fiery boldness.

If you are self-conscious, an encounter with Jesus will show you whose you are and how He sees you.

One moment in His presence will change everything. The things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of who He is.

A well known verse, Psalm 34:8 says, “O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.” It is important not to just stop at this verse but to continue reading: “for the ones who fear Him will not be in need. The young lions are in want and suffer hunger, but the ones who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing” (Ps. 34:9b-10).

Friends, I tell you this because as I have lived from this place, His miraculous power has manifested in the most beautiful ways in and around my life. He is so faithful! Going into high school I was a lover and follower of Jesus.

Growing up, I encountered Him in beautiful and life-changing ways. Right before I entered my public high school in Nebraska, I was living in Florida when I had a dream from the Lord. In the dream, I had put together an assembly program at my school, and I could see hundreds of students coming to Christ. Not long after the dream, I moved to Nebraska, and I met my still best friend, Joshua Smith. After talking about Jesus together, we quickly realized the Lord had been showing us both the same thing. Joshua had an open vision on orientation day freshmen year about sharing the gospel with other students. We instantly hit it off and are now ministering together 19 years later all around the world.

Prophetic Word: Acceleration Is Coming

If you have ever been to a horse race, then you have probably noticed that the horses wear something around their eyes called “blinders.” When a horse is racing, the rider puts blinders on the horses’ eyes, so they cannot see what is behind them or to the left or right.

When they are not distracted by everything around them, they perform their task better and finish well. The animals’ eyes are focused only on one thing—what is ahead.

Jesus is coming back. He is raising up His bride right now, looking for the ones who will be set apart. Will you allow Him to put blinders on your eyes, so He is all you see?

Acceleration is coming. Keep watch, for the return of the Lord draws near. The King is coming, and He is ever watching. For those who are keeping oil in their lamps, I see acceleration.

Before His return, there will be a redeeming of the time in many areas. In some places, some cities and some nations certain things need to take place spiritually. He is readying His available bride to take spiritual territory!

Watch for an increase of callings into the ministry, evangelism in the corporate world, billionaires turning to Jesus and funding the advancement of the gospel, massive wealth gain and repositioning in places of power and prestige, not for your gain but for His kingdom advancement! He intently watches those whose hearts are His! As it happens with you, do not flatter yourself thinking of your own fantasies, but fearlessly advance His agenda in the earth!

As you are called, do not just look to be “the man, the No.1 or the head” of these new kingdom movements. Some are called to be the “No. 2” or to fill “support roles” to a vision greater than themselves.

Serve well. Lay your life down in service to a forcefully advancing kingdom of God. Positions and the way we view things in this world are not as God sees them. Humble yourselves; put your personal opinions aside, and be a part of His perfect kingdom plan.

Corruption will continue to be exposed in the church house, the schoolhouse, the White House and the money house. Watch for those with oil in their lamps to be repositioned into new positions of authority in sectors of society.

Again, this is not for your own gain. This is a vehicle to move His kingdom forward. Please do not forget this and make the mistakes of some of our predecessors. His return draws near. Do not just be ready but prepare others. Be generous. As you prosper, teach others how to prosper.

The hour is late, and the time is now. Things that used to take years will take months. Some things that took months will take weeks and days. Obedience is too important right now. Let us love Him with our whole heart and trust His leadership even when we do not understand His ways. Say yes to His desires for your life.

Acceleration is here! As it happens, it is not about you. Remember, it is all about Him! Be ready to use the tools, positions, prestige, finances and influence He is giving and providing for His glory, not yours.

Acceleration is now.

Choose today whether you will be one set apart for His glory. Will you forsake the things of the world? Will you crucify the lust of the flesh in your life? He is so worth it.

What a love He showed when He came and died our death, knowing not everyone would accept Him. He was stripped naked on the cross and died the shameful death we deserved so we could be seen rightly before the Father.

Everything in this world will pass away. Chose Him today; let Him be the Lord of your life, and you will experience a joy that cannot be compared to what the world offers. {eoa}

Parents and Leaders: Use Your Life to Encourage the Faith of Children

There have been moments throughout life that marked me, moments that have shaped me to become who I am in Christ today.

As I travel throughout the world sharing the Good News of Jesus to hundreds of thousands of people, I can’t help but realize the sacrifice that came before me by so many.

Many of those life-changing encounters happened because of the devotion my parents had to Jesus. I grew up as a pastor’s kid, but my experience may have been different than many others. For my family, it was never just about a church service on Sunday. My dad was the first generation in coming to Christ. While in a drug deal, getting high, someone told him about Jesus and invited him to church. Both of my parents decided to leave the world behind and follow Jesus with everything they had. While growing up, I watched them every day; I saw the love they had and still have for our Savior and one another. They knew what He had saved them from, and they gave every area of their lives to Him.

My parents were the real deal. They were the same at church as they were at home. As pastors, they showed me first-hand the importance of going out into the city, preaching the gospel and loving on those in need.

Friends, whether you had the same experience growing up, or not, you can be that light to your children. As a parent, you are the first representation of Christ to your kids while they are growing up. They learn about who He is, how much He loves us and cares for us through you.

When I was young, I remember going to the park to hang out with other church kids. One of them came up to me and asked me to smoke a cigarette with them. I immediately said no and continued as they pressured me, not because of fear of punishment, but because of the love for Jesus that my parents had displayed to me growing up.

It was a defining moment for me as an 8-year-old kid being approached by a 14 year-old teenager. Nobody would have ever known, but what my parents had taught and demonstrated to me came through when they weren’t there.

Why You Can’t Lose When You Walk With the Living God

Psalm 139:5-7 (NLT) says, “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence!”

His hand of blessing is on you, and you can’t lose because He is with you always.

Have you ever been around someone who can’t lose? It’s like the game is always rigged in their favor?

This is what it is like when it comes to the blessing of the Lord.

Life-Changing Encounters With Jesus Are Not Just For You

I once had encounter with Jesus that changed my life forever. When you encounter the Lord, it is up to you if that becomes a habitation or just a visitation.

Often we don’t realize the effect our lives have on others. When we encounter the Lord, our life becomes an encounter for other people. It is important to realize that we don’t just live in a place of visitation for the Lord but a habitation so others can encounter Him through us.

Our prayers move the heart of the Lord, and the encounter will come. We don’t have to go to a specific location to encounter the Lord. 1 Corinthians 3:16 says we are temples of the Holy Spirit. The God of the universe has decided to make a dwelling is us. Freely it has been given to us, so freely we must give it.

How You Can Unlock the Supernatural and Experience Miracles in Your Life

My best friend and I met in high school. We were both hungry for the Lord and desired to see revival come to our school.

Now, years later, we are both working together at our ministry, Kingdom Encounters International. Before I had Joshua Smith join the team, he had never seen a miracle. Now the Lord is using him in the nations for healing, deliverance and preaching the gospel.

Are you hungering to see the sick healed? We must be people who long to hear the voice of God. Do you know, He wants your family member or friend healed or saved even more than you do?

In the book of Joshua, we read about the priests who are carrying the ark of the covenant. They camped out in front of the Jordan for three days, looking at the big obstacle right in front of them. They looked at the body of water, wondering how they would get across into the promised land.

When Joshua spoke to the priests, he told them that God said to step into the water. It wasn’t until the priests put their feet in the water that the river stopped flowing upstream, and they all walked across on dry ground. They had to take a step of faith and put their feet in the water before the miracle happened.

The Lord wants to do the same thing with you. He is stirring your faith to walk in the supernatural.

Joshua and I were driving in the car one day when we got a flat tire. We took the car into an auto repair shop where we met a woman. She was in extreme pain and could barely keep her eyes open because her migraine was so severe. We started to pray for her in the middle of the tire shop, and the Lord touched her.

When she opened her eyes, she realized she was completely healed. At that moment, we had to hear from the Lord to know to pray for this woman. Sometimes life happens, tires pop, but amid life, you can see the Lord move and touch people around you. God is putting you in a position to cross paths with people you wouldn’t normally come in contact with. Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

While I was in India preaching to a group of people, I felt a pull from the Holy Spirit to put the mic down so He could speak. At the moment, everyone looked around not knowing what was going on, but after 15 seconds, glory filled the room. The Holy Spirit poured out, and people started speaking in tongues and getting healed and delivered on the spot.

When you follow the subtle prompting of God, you will see the sick healed. Jesus wants to meet people, and He wants to encounter them. If you have never been used to heal someone, continue to pray for people and step out in faith. The Lord is the one who heals; don’t be afraid that it won’t happen. If you had the power to heal them and they didn’t get healed, then you could be offended if it doesn’t happen, but we don’t have the ability! Allow the Lord to do what He needs to do in every situation, but make sure to give Him the opportunity.

Why We Must Pray for God’s Kingdom to Come

Jesus covers and hovers over all things! When we pray for His kingdom to come and His will done, we are praying for love, peace, joy, self-control and so much more.

It is crucial to pray for His kingdom to come because, on this earth, we are lacking what is in His kingdom. We are all searching for something to fulfill us but are looking in the wrong places. God is the only one who will truly fulfill us.

When His kingdom is on display, it is a reality that His kingdom far outweighs our kingdom. This is a reminder that His authority has already been established in heaven, and we are releasing it here on earth.

Why do we need this? His will is perfect, and it far surpasses anything we can imagine in our own lives. He wants to participate in our lives every day.

For more on how you can pray for God’s kingdom to be glorified and His will done, watch this devotional video now.

The Lord Called This Evangelist to Nurture a Billion-Soul Revival

The late prophet Bob Jones prophesied in 1975 about a coming one-billion soul harvest. He said there would be an abiding glory that would come to the church and never leave—a kind of glory that would bring masses together to worship Jesus. Jones said that stadiums and buildings wouldn’t be big enough to hold the massive amounts of people who will be coming together to see the glory of God. One-billion souls will be saved, youth will pour onto fields, and many will enter into eternal life with the Lord. My friends, God has been raising people up with a fire and burning passion to see the lost come to salvation. Matthew 28:18-20 says: “Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”

Are you sold-out for Jesus? We are living in a window of history like no other. Now is the time to lay down those things in your life which have been taking up too much of your time and instead press into Jesus. The Word says that inside of you is a treasure chest filled with hope. Take your eyes off the news, your Facebook feed, what your friends are saying, and feast on the Word of God. What He did for you on the cross is more than enough to be joyful about, and it is more than enough to place your hope. While reading this, if you feel a pull from the Holy Spirit calling you to be one of these people to usher in the billion-soul harvest, then don’t wait another day. This is His harvest; He will guide you and equip you, and all you have to do is press into Him.

When I was 14 years old, I was in prayer when the Lord spoke to me about the billion-soul harvest. At the time the Lord spoke to me about this, I had never heard the prophetic word from Jones. Years went by, and I was working as Daniel Kolenda’s assistant at Christ for all Nations. Lou Engle was preaching at an event when he brought up the prophecy and said some in this room are called to be a part of it. I went up to Engle after he was finished preaching, and I told him what the Lord had spoken to me years earlier. Not long after the event, Kingdom Encounters International was birthed.

At the time I am writing this, we have seen over two hundred and fifty thousand people give their lives to Jesus. The Lord spoke to me and said this year, 2021, we will see one million people enter the kingdom of God through the ministry’s crusades. John 4:37 says, “For in this is the saying true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.'” Some of you are called to go, to go out into the nations willing to lay it all down for the sake of the gospel. Some of you are called to sow; your reward will be just the same. Both are important. Ask the Lord which of these you are called to today. Let us not wait another day because there is a lost and dying world out there that is longing for the good news of Jesus. He was tortured and flogged. His beard was ripped out, and His blood was shed for all. Don’t sit back and wait for others to arise, listen to this episode of Awaken the Wonder on the Charisma Podcast Network to find out how you can reach people wherever you are. {eoa}

Don’t Miss the Ultimate Prize of Your Faith

Often, in the Christian faith, we lift up pastors, evangelists or musicians on pedestals, and we strive to be like them. But nothing apart from a relationship with Jesus Christ will fulfill you and bring glory to the Father.

I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world through our crusades, but my relationship and intimacy with the Lord is the real prize.

Reinhard Bonnke once said, “I stay on my knees, so the praises of men go right over my head.” The key to the Christian life is a relationship with Jesus. The signs and wonders are demonstrations of His message, but when they become the main thing, we have missed the most important thing, and His name is Jesus.

Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Watch this video to be encouraged to see Jesus as the ultimate prize.

On the Road to Success, Remember Whose Glory You’re Supposed to Be Seeking

In Isaiah 6, we read about King Uzziah, one of the most prosperous people to walk the planet.

When Uzziah started to climb the corporate ladder, he thought he built his kingdom when God had blessed him.

In the beginning, he was humble, but before he knew it, he, like many in the world, got lost on the path to success.

We read of Isaiah’s account, “In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord” (Isa. 6:1a). This encounter prompts the following response which essentially states: “Woe to me! I am ruined; I am unclean” (see Isa. 6:5).

Instead of thinking highly of himself and reacting with pride, Isaiah began to humble himself the more the Lord blessed him. Do you want to see the Lord? God wants to speak to you and talk to you.

What preceded Isaiah seeing the Lord? The sin of pride died, and Isaiah saw the Lord. The Word says God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble.
