Spirit-Filled Evangelist: What You Can Do as Pressures Mount Around You

As the tensions in the world continue to increase around us, many Christians are abandoning their faith, no longer attending church or staying plugged into any community. Agendas of fear are running rampant across the world, and many are succumbing to the pressures mounting around them.

This is an hour of history like no other, with missionaries leaving the field due to lack of funding and thousands of churches shutting their doors.

As the bride of Christ, when the fire starts getting hot, we need to get hotter. The trials are real, the pain, the sorrow—it is all real. It is what we do from those places that matters the most. I believe in this time we can glean a lot from the book of Ruth.

We see a woman whose husband died; she lost her sons and everything that was before her. Naomi had heard that God was moving powerfully back in Israel, and instead of sitting around waiting for it to come to her, she went after it with tenacity. Despite her pain and sorrow, she never stopped believing in the Lord her God. How easy it could have been for her to be offended at God, but instead, she decided to trust in Him.

Ruth looked at Naomi’s life and knew there was something more to the God Naomi served than the gods of the Moabites. Ruth left the comfort and familiarity of the place she grew up, where she fit in, and left to serve the God of the Israelites.

The Lord brought Ruth and Naomi to a place where harvest and abundance were happening. Ruth put her trust in the Lord, went to an entirely new place where she was a foreigner, and God brought her under His wings for refuge. Ruth’s commitment and humble heart led to favor all around her.

In this life, we must count the costs and join in the crucifixion of Christ. As the pressures increase and the times show the true color of our faith, where will we be found? Will we have oil in our lamps?

I’m not sure what is going on personally in your life, whether health struggles, family problems, finances or loneliness, but what I can tell you is that it matters what you do from that place. Will you take refuge under the wings of God? Or will you allow those pressures to pull you farther away from Him and question His goodness in your life?

I can tell you that pressures have built up around me. But until He comes again, I will continue to preach the gospel with urgency in my voice and on my feet. I will continue to believe that the Sauls will be transformed into Pauls, and that the most radical terrorists of the world will have the revelation of Jesus.

Take a moment and sit with Jesus, realign your life with His will, and find peace and comfort in His presence because friend, there is nothing else like it. {eoa}

The Year This Character Trait Died in Him, Isaiah Saw the Lord

There is nothing more precious to the Lord than a heart that comes to Him humble and lowly, thankful for all He has and will do in life.

The innate character of Jesus while on earth was gentleness, lowliness and humility before the heavenly Father, and He is still the same today. The gentleness and kindness of Jesus is so breathtaking that it will bring you to your knees with tears in your eyes. We serve a King who came down from His throne in heaven to take on our sins, our shame, our dirt and die the death that we deserve.

Those attributes of God are so pure and holy that any other intent or heart motive cannot remain in His marvelous presence. Isaiah 6:1 (NLT) says, “It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple.” Why did it take King Uzziah dying for Isaiah to be able to enter into the presence of the Most High?

King Uzziah started as a good person who loved the Lord and did what was right in the eyes of God. He actually sought the Lord and had an immense fear of God in his life. He was an incredibly talented king with brilliant ideas who was used by God to defeat the Philistines. The Bible says he built fortified towers and new weapons as well as strengthening Judah.

In this time the king became famous throughout the land. This recognition and power slowly crept into him, and pride started dripping from his lips and countenance. He soon thought he was the one who accomplished everything on his own without the Lord. King Uzziah disobeyed God by entering the temple to burn incense on the altar, something only the priests could do.

As Uzziah raged against those who spoke out against him, leprosy manifested on his forehead. Pride is the sin of Satan himself. It was the sin that had him cast out of heaven. God cursed Uzziah for his pride and gave him leprosy; he died in isolation and lost everything.

It was in the year that Uzziah—or pride—died, that Isaiah saw the Lord. Isaiah was brought before the Lord, purified with coal to his lips and then God asked him, “Who will go?” Isaiah said to the Lord, “Here am I, God, send me.” He was commissioned and sent out with a message of repentance to the Israelites (see Isa. 6:1-10).

You may be binding the enemy and praying and rebuking all of these things in your life but still feeling opposed. The Bible says that God opposes the proud, but He draws near to the humble (James 4:6). Maybe it is pride that is holding you back in your life today. Draw near to Jesus today from a place of humility; draw near to the one who embodies gentleness and lowliness. Allow Him to break the back of pride in your life, and you will enter through the veil into the presence of God as never before. {eoa}

Haven’t Seen Your Breakthrough? Sow Some Seeds of Destiny

In what areas of life are you lacking breakthrough? Are you praying for a financial miracle, or a healing?

I’m not sure what you are contending for — maybe there are dreams and desires in your heart that have not yet come to pass. Throughout the timeline of our lives, there are always areas for which we are standing in the gap. It could be a prophetic word about your destiny or to see a lost family member come to know Jesus.

For many people it’s probably a myriad of things.

I think there are moments in life when we can see ourselves praying and believing for any one of these areas. Truthfully, there are probably more areas than we can count. What I’ve found throughout Scripture is that what you are believing to reap is what you must first sow.

Genesis 26:12-13 (NIV) says, “Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.”

Isaac first had to step out in faith and plant the crops in the fields before he would see the harvest. How can there be a harvest if there isn’t first a seed planted in the ground? When the word of the Lord comes to you and tells you to do something, you don’t always see the results. I feel strongly in this season that the Lord is telling us to go out and plant and sow into the fields of harvest we want to reap from.

We are coming into the end-time billion-soul harvest, and there must be a church that is ready to sow in abundance to see the whole earth filled with the glory of God. Isaac planted crops in the land and in the same year reaped a hundredfold return because the Lord blessed him. If you want God to bless the work of your hands, then sow into what He has put before you.

Maybe you’re reading this and you have been standing for a long time to see a healing in your body come to pass. Let me ask you, how many people are you praying for to see them healed? Are you praying for healing for your neighbor or the person you see in the grocery store? Start sowing seeds of healing to those around you and watch what God will do in your life. The same can be said for your family member. Maybe you have a prodigal son or daughter and you are praying God sends someone to share the gospel with them. Are you doing this in your daily life for the other prodigal children out there?

This truly is much easier than we sometimes realize. When you give, it is given unto you. The Bible says it is your Father’s great pleasure to give you the kingdom. (See Luke 12:32.) Sow into those fields of destiny today, and I am praying you reap a hundredfold return in Jesus’ name. {eoa}

Now Is the Time to Enter the Promised Land

Do you have promises from God that you are believing for that have not yet come to pass? As daughters and sons of the Most-High King, we stand in faith on what the Word of God says and the individual promises He has spoken over each one of our lives.

Standing in faith isn’t always easy, so I want to encourage you today from a specific passage in Scripture.

In the Book of Joshua, right after Caleb and Joshua explored the land that God had promised them, they quickly started to face backlash from the Israelites. The two spies had told the crowd not to be afraid of the giants but to trust in the Lord, despite what the other spies were saying. The Israelites started to talk about stoning Joshua and Caleb, even in their faithfulness to the Lord!

As followers of Jesus Christ, we must trust and obey the Lord, even when everyone else is believing a report of fear. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. The Israelites were afraid of what they saw in the natural, a seemingly unmovable situation. Joshua and Caleb were probably nervous that their own friends would stone them, wondering if they would follow them into the promises of God.

Numbers 14:24 (NLT) says, “But my servant Caleb has a different attitude than the others have. He has remained loyal to me, so I will bring him into the land he explored.” God looked at Caleb’s heart and saw he had faith and trusted in his heavenly Father. Even though the Israelites saw the Red Sea part and their enemy defeated, they had already forgotten what God had done.

All throughout Scripture we read about the heroes of the faith setting up memorial stones in places where God had moved triumphantly. They would set up the stones to remind themselves and the generations to come what God had done. Can you imagine?

They didn’t have Bibles to read and stories after stories written down to encourage them, so they used stones to memorialize what the Lord had done throughout the generations. How blessed are we to have the living and breathing Word at our fingertips each and every day!

While you are waiting and believing for the promises of God to come to pass, go back and look at your own memorial stones. Look at what God has done for you and your family over the years. In this season, with all that is going on in the world, don’t bow down to the agenda of fear that is trying to discourage you. What does the Bible say? It says, “Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?” (Matt. 6:26, NLT). {eoa}

The Secret for a Life That Can Change the World

There is something that separates the good from the great, the mediocre from the extraordinary and the average from the unprecedented. When you study the life of an Olympian, I believe you can find many correlations to the heroes of the faith.

Some would look at Michael Phelps, for example, and say he was lucky to be genetically gifted and chosen to become an extraordinary swimmer. On the surface it is easy to come to that conclusion. I’ve read articles about his ankles bending better than those of other swimmers, his incredible wingspan, and whether or not he is double-jointed. As it turns out, the reason that the Olympian was able to achieve the title of the greatest swimmer of all time was because of how hard he worked on his craft.

On top of his arduous workouts, Phelps was taught to never say he couldn’t do something. In all his practices and trial races he imagined and envisioned himself competing the way he wanted the race to go. Anyone who looks deeper into his life can easily tell it’s not because of an inch or two here or there but because he gave the sport his all.

I find that many Christians come to the same conclusions about the heroes of the faith to give themselves the easy way out. They say, “Well, they were just lucky to be chosen” or “They were blessed to be mentored by so-and-so.” While we all have different advantages and disadvantages in life, I think if we take a closer look, we will find there is certainly more to the story.

I recently had a revelation on this with regard to giving. One day I was sitting in my office planning out my financial future for my family, as many of us do, and the Lord started speaking to me about the different streams of income He was going to use in my life. I started listing off each area one after another — a salary, a book, etc. When I got to the seventh item, God spoke to me and said that it would be giving.

It is a foreign concept to the world — and sadly, even to believers, including myself at the time — that giving is a stream of income. Scripture tells us in Luke 6:38 (NIV), “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” How often have you thought, “When I become steadier in my career or get that bonus, then I will really invest in the kingdom of God”? We think, “Let’s leave the giving to the people who were just blessed by God with a lot of money,” just like Michael Phelps was blessed genetically.

Can I tell you that in God’s kingdom, that is not how it works? I am a missionary myself, but I give and support numerous missionaries monthly.

Why? God doesn’t want 10% of your money or my money, friends; He wants all of it. Everything good and pleasing in your life has come from the Father of heavenly lights. He is the Owner and we are the stewards of the money.

Many heroes of the faith, when you look at their lives, gave absolutely everything for the sake of the gospel. Rees Howells felt so called to intercession that he would live like those he was praying and interceding for. He would pray, and once the breakthrough would come for him, the breakthrough would come for those he was praying for.

Howells once believed for a move of God amid the homeless community in his area, so for many months he lived like them, eating one meal a day. He took his call to intercession so seriously that he became the breakthrough.

Can you imagine living a life like this? What if Christians lived like many of these Olympians do? What if you gave your all to the One your heart burns for? There is nothing you can’t do in Christ Jesus.

Envision all that you want to do for the kingdom of God every day and sow into it until it becomes a reality. {eoa}

15 Americans Travel to Colombia on Faith With No Money—But God

One of the biggest things I am seeing among believers across the nations right now is the tension of enduring in their faith. Amidst struggles, trials and hardships, are you finding it difficult to stand on your faith and prophetic words God has spoken over your life?

In the Book of Hebrews, chapter 11 (AMP) tells us that faith is an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God. Can I tell you that over the years, especially since starting my own evangelistic ministry, I have had to truly endure in my confidence in the Lord?

Back in 2019, God spoke to me and told me I would be taking a group of 15 Americans on a team trip to Colombia, Peru and Brazil. As the date approached, we were short $25,000 for the trip and to put on the crusade that we had been working so hard to prepare. In the natural, many of our ministry partners, family members and friends suggested that we completely postpone the trip. Something inside of me knew God had spoken that we would go, so I didn’t cancel the trip.

So 15 Americans boarded a plane headed for Colombia. Everyone’s well-being was in my hands. Upon our arrival, the crusade director asked for the money we didn’t have, and I promised it would arrive shortly. Long story short, days into the trip I got a ding on my phone that a check was coming in the mail for $25,000.

On top of that, our director said they had made a miscalculation, and we were $14,000 under budget. That has never happened in crusade history, as many evangelists know. My faith was so stirred for what God was doing, as was the faith of the group of Americans with me on the trip.

During a celebratory pool trip with our team, we raised an additional $6,000. We left Colombia with an additional $20,000 for the next crusade coming up the following month. Not only did we get the money we needed for that trip, but God came through and also provided for what was coming next.

This never would have happened if I’d postponed the trip and didn’t put my faith in what God had spoken to me. Friends, this is how faith works —15 people wouldn’t have had a life-changing mission trip, a 3-year-old girl wouldn’t have started walking, and pimps and prostitutes wouldn’t have given their lives to Jesus if I hadn’t stood strong in my faith.

What is God speaking to you? What is He encouraging you to have the faith for today?

Joshua 6:1-2 (NKJV) says, Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua: ‘See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.'” In God’s mind, Jericho had already fallen, but in the natural the walls were sealed and nobody was going in or out. When you get the heart and the mind of Christ and you see with His eyes in a situation, you are impossible to stop. {eoa}

We Forfeit God’s Promotion When We Strive for Promotion From Man

The innate nature inside of all of us is to seek after and attain approval by man, to reach the bar of success that has been set by the world that is ultimately impossible to achieve.

The desire to find approval in our work ability, hobbies, appearance, personality, intellect and so much more can leave one feeling inadequate based on a standard man has set. In the pop culture of the day, you may feel pressure to be, act or perform certain ways.

I remember being a child, sitting in my room, wearing my dorky clothes, staring at a ceiling planning my life out year by year. I had all these ideations of what my future would hold and how the world would perceive me. More times than not, when our plans fail and men don’t always approve of our actions, we are left feeling downtrodden.

When we strive to be promoted by man, we forfeit promotion by God. You may have a hard time with how your boss or a family member is treating you. When someone treats you like a servant, how do you react? This often exposes the offenses in our heart—if we are offended by being treated like a servant, we are failing the test of servanthood.

Here are some practical tips you can implement in your life to break off the approval of man:

— Love Jesus well.

— Obey His Word; give so that your right hand doesn’t know what your left hand is doing.

— Worship the Lord when you don’t feel like it. That is when God takes your life and resurrects it!

— When you get up from the crucifixion, you won’t even care anymore what others think, because you will be solely focused on the words from your heavenly Father.

You may feel hidden or overlooked by letting God do things the right way—but as you continue to be faithful, the Lord will bring the increase. {eoa}

God’s Holy Spirit Power Overwhelms Voodoo, Witchcraft Curses in Haiti

Tuesday, I received breaking news from my crusade director in Haiti. The news was disturbing and showed that God’s power cannot be overcome by even the most wicked darkness.

Watch my Facebook LIVE update here: https://fb.watch/bEnVKpcpHy/

We received great news of even more healings that took place in Haiti including:

– Multiple people were healed of heart disease

– Someone was healed of kidney stones

– Someone with stomach cancer was healed by the power of God

And more!

In the months prior to the crusade, apparently witches were going around into the very village I preached the gospel in just two weeks ago. As a part of their voodoo rituals, they were offering blood sacrifices, which led to them eating children. They taunted the few believers who were there, saying that the locals needed to follow the power of the witches.

I had no idea any of this had happened. In my final video report from Haiti, I recounted some of the amazing encounters of witches giving their lives to Jesus (Watch here: https://youtube/YG_8RjYPoy8), but I wasn’t aware of the depths of their disturbing practices just weeks and months before our team arrived.

Testimonies are now being received from the village:

– This is the first time the people have seen such a great power and authority. All glory to Jesus!

– The witches no longer have power because the works of the devil were destroyed.

– When the witches tried to test us in the meetings to “see if we had any real power,” they couldn’t look at us. They reported seeing a fire surrounding us and their power would no longer work.

– Many witches renounced their witchcraft, repented of their sins, gave their lives to Jesus and are now going around the village, telling people about their testimonies of encountering Jesus through the ministry. They have become evangelists.

In five days, I board an airplane for our next crusade. More than 70,000 people are projected to attend in this unreached nation over a three-day crusade. We will also be equipping hundreds of pastors as well in a pastors’ conference! Religious extremism is rampant, Christians are being killed for their faith, Christian literature is being burned, villages with Christian people are being isolated and cut off from water wells and running water, and the tragedies are all around.

The only hope for our world is Jesus. We are willing to risk everything to bring Jesus to them. Will you send us? {eoa}

Caleb Wampler is a missionary evangelist who has a passionate desire to know Jesus and to advance His kingdom into the earth. While growing up in a pastor’s home, Caleb had several incredible encounters with the love of Jesus and power of the Holy Spirit.

The Missing Puzzle Piece

During a recent prayer time, the Lord took me into a vision that I believe is pertinent for the body of Christ as a whole, and more specially for YOU today.

To start the vision, I saw a puzzle that was missing a piece. There was a group of people trying to find the missing piece and, pun intended, it was puzzling everyone as to where it could be.

The scene changed before I saw a hand brushing some type of “find” in a desert setting. The hand was brushing an archaeological fragment that was still stuck in the ground. While I don’t know too much about the details that go into what an archaeologist does, I do know that when something is found, great care is taken to ensure the safety of what is found. There is a great intentionality and care to preserve the finding. As the hand continued to brush this find in the ground, I realized that it was the missing puzzle piece.

As the rest of the piece was brushed off, there were three giant letters written on the puzzle piece. The letters were YOU!

I then heard the voice of the Lord speak to me and felt an urgency to share what is on His heart.

I heard Him say to stop pointing the finger at each other when issues and problems arise. It is imperative that we stop allowing division to run rampant through the body of Christ. Let us love one another, stop looking at the speck in your brother or sisters’ eye and not the log in your own. Scripture teaches us that even the world can love those they like but it’s loving one another through conflict that you have truly found the heart of Jesus. This must be our goal! Let us be a people who rise above judgement and allow the Father to give us His heart for those around us.

The Lord also said to stop looking at your pastor with a critical eye and tongue ,saying they should have done X,Y and Z differently. If He has called you to the house that you are in, then submit to your leaders and give them grace. Stop calling out your friends, family and loved ones, pointing out all their flaws. This is not the heart of God! Let us be so thankful for how merciful and gracious He is to us, so forgiving of all our sins and shortcomings. While you were still His enemy, Christ died for you. You were the joy that was set before Him on the cross.

Lastly, the Lord said to stop looking at your enemies and speaking death over them. Take whatever steps are necessary to be able to look at your enemy with love; to see how they were fearfully and wonderfully made, that Jesus loves them immensely and died on the cross for them. Let it be known of Christians that we are forgiving, full of grace, non-judgmental and love radically.

Proverbs 18:21 (NIV) says, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” When you go before God one day, you will give an account for every idle word spoken. If you found yourself in any of those categories listed above, then repent before the Lord. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. He is so kind; there is nobody like the Lord!

For God to move throughout the earth in the end-time harvest, He needs a church that is unified and working together. First Corinthians 12:12 (NIRV) says, “There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ.” Verse 24 continues: “But God has put together all the parts of the body” and Verse 27 states, “You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it.”

As soon as you can see your neighbor as someone who the Lord longs to use for His glory, you will help support them and their calling instead of tearing it down. What if you looked at your pastor, friend, family member or enemy as a temple of the living God, who you can speak life or death over? Will you join me in living a life that is full of radical and obedient love? Jesus deserves nothing less for His great sacrifice for us on the cross. Remember, YOU are the missing piece that God wants to use in the earth. He has chosen YOU, called YOU, and YOU hold the beauty He is longing to unleash in this hour. Complete the masterpiece of the puzzle today by being the piece He’s designed you to be. {eoa]
