Prophecy: ‘I Saw God Striking a Match’ to Set His Church on Fire

As we are about our Father’s business, He will often come and meddle in our business.

A few nights ago I was awakened by the words, “That’s not gold, that’s wood. That’s not silver, that’s hay. Those are not costly stones, that’s straw and stubble.”

Often what’s gold to us is wood to God. I asked the Lord, “Are You messing with me again?”

“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames” (1 Cor. 3:10-15, NIV).

I see the Lord striking a match to set His church on fire. But first, this fire will burn up some precious things that are not of Him.

There was a shipwreck at sea, and the sole survivor was a man who swam to a nearby deserted island. He took as much of the food from the wreckage as could be salvaged and put it in a pile, then covered the food with the mast of the ship. He knew that when the food ran out, he would soon perish.

One day he took a walk to the other side of the island. As he was returning, he saw huge flames shooting up out of the pile of food that was stored. He became extremely angry and began beating his fists into the sand and cursing God. As he was cursing God, he heard a sound—mmmmm, mmmm—a foghorn in the distance. He looked up and saw a big ship on the horizon.

He watched as men began to climb down off this huge ship into small boats and started rowing toward the shore. The first small boat to reach the shore had the big ship’s captain in it. The captain stepped out of the boat and walked up to the man on the island. The captain said, “Mister, if you hadn’t lit that fire, we would never have found you! If you hadn’t lit that fire …”

Sometimes what we lose becomes our rescue.

“What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ” (Phil. 3:8). Paul counted his losses, not his victories, to win Christ.

I sense that many of God’s people are bewildered and angry right now because for some reason, the Father has allowed some precious thingsrelationships and things you thought you couldn’t live without—to go up in smoke and flames.

Focus on what you’re gaining, not what you’re losing!

The enemy is trying to convince many people to blame God for what they have lost and to turn away from Him. Many are so angry and bitter that they cannot hear God at all right now. But I hear something for you. Listen very carefully. This is what I hear: mmmmmm, mmmmm. I hear a spiritual foghorn in the distance; Jesus is very near!

The enemy is telling you to look at what you are losing. Jesus is saying, “Look at what you are about to gain!” If you have lost something that you believe it is God’s will for you to have, then He is able to bring it back in His timing. Things that we think we can’t live without are often very frail and combustible.

Is God dwindling us down to needing and loving one another?

I hear the Lord saying, “Circle the wagons for what is coming.” I saw a circling of the wagons that looked like a defensive move in the Spirit, but it was an offensive move. We got out of those wagons that heldyou name itand gathered around a campfire to warm ourselves and make those marshmallow, chocolate and graham cracker things. As we did, I noticed the wind blowing a spark of that campfire that was blessing us onto a covered wagon, catching it on fire. Then that wind blew the fire onto the next wagon and continued to burn the rest. Even the wagon wheels were burning. If it was the enemy, the Lord seemed to allow it, because for some unknown reason, He wanted us to travel light.

I then saw us standing together, circling the campfire, holding hands while the campfire began to go out. We were discovering that hands were meant to be held. We may not have liked one another, but soon we realized that we would need each other to survive. Often, survival comes before revival. Then as we embraced one another and realized our need not only for God but also for each other, the fire of God blew upon us, and we began to burn as firebrands in the hands of God as the Lord began to do great things, new things and awesome things in the earth through us. “He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants” (Ps. 104:4).

Fire often helps us to surrender those things that we are unable to give up on our own. But God gives beauty for ashes (Isa. 61:3).

I smell something precious burning. Travel light.

Prophecy: The Lord Says, ‘I Will Never Fail Your Children’

“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers” (Mal. 4:6, KJV).

Recently, the Lord has been working overtime in many family relationships, especially between the parents and the children. Speaking as a father, looking back, I can become overwhelmed by how I was honestly blinded by my weaknesses, or how I felt powerless to change my children while I was raising them.

When you hear about how God is going to grow us up in His body, you can count on God showing up in the core of the church — the family we live with every day. We can go no further in God than our personal “home address.”

Restoration of Relationships: Destined for Generational Blessings

It seems the Lord is opening our eyes to see how our weaknesses and character flaws in parenting have affected our children in later years. The Lord’s purpose, as these things surface, is to restore and heal our relationships. The enemy’s plan is to condemn us and to make us feel like failures in the home, ministry and community.

Change seems so slow, even when the Lord brings character flaws to the surface, and sometimes our children remind us of them … in case we have forgotten. We become overwhelmed by things we may have done wrong; we cannot go back now and change them, especially when our children are grown. Regret can be overwhelming, and as a father, it seems to magnify itself.

As I was praying recently over my own past and present shortcomings as a father, my feelings of failure were divinely interrupted by a still, small voice that spoke volumes to my broken heart.

God said, “Son, you have been focusing on your weaknesses that your children seem to have inherited. Have you forgotten that they also inherited your strengths that you were born-again with? Stop thinking of all those generational curses the enemy has been filling your mind with that I took to the cross. Start renewing your mind about your children, for they are now only destined to receive generational blessings; the seed and the seed’s seed of the righteous are blessed because of My righteousness that I have given you!”

“The seed of the righteous shall be delivered” (Prov. 11:21, KJV).

Destiny Now Arising

I was reminded how we are all blessed because we are the seed of Abraham — the father of faith! We are blessed because in being his seed, we have the same faith as he did. Besides that, God has given every man, woman and child a measure of His faith (Rom. 12:3). In addition, Jesus actually tells us that we have the very faith of God, because to “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22, KJV) means to have God’s faith! Paul said, “The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God” (Gal. 2:20, KJV).

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children” (Prov. 13:22, NKJV).

I just want you to know that you have one strength available to you that will overcome all of your apparent earthly failures and regrets — and that is your faith! You have this faith no matter how you raised or didn’t raise your children. Your faith in God (in what He has done, not in what you have done or have not done) is part of your children’s inheritance now!

At this moment, in your children’s DNA there is the very faith to believe for the impossible. This is a faith that will overcome all “apparent” weaknesses and failures! Know that this faith which saved you will save your children also. It’s a saving faith! In fact, you have given your children the most powerful thing in the universe — God’s faith! The major substance that pleases God is faith. The faith that is in you is already in your children’s DNA; it is their “Destiny Now Arising” (DNA).

“You May Have Failed Your Children, but I Won’t!”

God says, “‘I am turning the hearts of the fathers to their children’ means that I am taking what is good and pure and lovely and of good report, from inside the hearts of the fathers, and I am pouring it into the hearts of their children. And ‘I am turning the hearts of the children to their fathers’ means that I am taking what is good and pure and lovely and of good report, from inside the hearts of the children, and pouring it into the hearts of their fathers.

“You and your children will experience overwhelming love that will overcome evil with good, and mothers will be caught in the crossfire of this ‘love explosion’ as My love flows unhindered between the fathers and the children.

“I will cause your children to remember the good times and bring to their remembrance precious memories that the enemy has not allowed them to remember at all. Likewise, I will cause the fathers to remember precious moments and the good things about their children that will become strongholds in their minds to know that My hand is upon them, no matter where they are or what they are doing. See them and treat them as though they are already saved, healed, delivered and complete in Me! Have I ever failed you? I will never fail your children either, or even your children’s children!”

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4, KJV).

The Lord is also including mothers in this word. Paul told Timothy, “When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also” (2 Tim. 1:5, KJV). I believe Paul was reminding Timothy that “faith runs in your family”!

Faith is contagious, and faith runs in your family also! I sense that many of our children will end up in the Hall of Faith that continues to be written. (See Hebrews 11.) {eoa}

Are You One of the Walking Wounded in the Body of Christ?

I hear a cry from the battlefield … another soldier down! Can you hear it? Or is your own wound screaming above your fellow soldiers for relief?

I have never experienced such a time of woundedness in the body of Christ. Many victory flags have fallen. A retired army veteran recently shared with me shocking insight about being wounded in war. He said, “It takes four or five soldiers to take care of one wounded in battle. But if a soldier is killed outright, it takes just two to put him in a body bag.”

Upon hearing this, I am convinced the devil gets more warped pleasure out of us living a long-wounded life than trying to kill us.

Wounds and Tombs Go Together
I am reminded of the man who lived among the tombs who kept breaking chains that could not hold him. The word tombs originally means “remembrances or memories.” His memories had come to destroy him.

I wonder what his first hurtful memory was that, little by little, started his walk toward the tombs? Was it a harsh word spoken or his imagination misreading someone’s compliment? Did he over hear someone say, “He will never amount to anything?” Was he the kid with a story of abuse no one would believe? Did the enemy somehow know that this child was born with such a brilliant mind that he would change the history of his nation?

My heart goes out to this man and every depressed and tormented person chained to their past memories. When Jesus asked him his name, he said, “My name is legion.” Legion means “multitude.” Perhaps he was saying, “I have been called so many names by so many voices, I don’t who I am. I have lost my identity.”

Jesus spoke and the chains broke and he found his identity in Christ his creator. No more chains! He was free! He wanted to follow Jesus, probably wanting to tell the world his testimony. But Jesus surprisingly told him to go home and tell what great things the Lord had done for him.

This proves the man was at one time normal and lived with a family and people in that village. In other words, go home where your rejection and wounds started and show them what has happened and love them. No more chains!

To my knowledge the man never left his home town to tell one of the greatest miracles Jesus ever performed. But his mighty deliverance carved itself into history through God’s word for generations to come to hear it. Jesus came all the way from the other side of the sea through a great storm to touch this man. And He can come to where you are today. He’ll come through hell if needs be. Bring your hurt quickly to the Lord for his healing hand to touch you.

Forgive Quickly
I will never forget my healthy brother who became sick with a terminal disease. The doctors told him they believed his disease began about three years ago. They asked him this: “Dick, was there anything that happened in your life about three years ago that seemed to knock you off your feet or overwhelm you?” My brother told me, “The doctors were right on. It was exactly three years ago a neighbor offended me and I couldn’t get over the hurt. I was right and he was wrong. I couldn’t go to sleep without thinking of that man. It got to where food didn’t taste right.”

The neighbor was unaware of the offense and kept right on living unharmed by it. My brother finally forgave that neighbor but the lack of forgiveness had already eaten him up from the inside out. It took his life at age 39. A wound can start with a little disagreement or unkind word from someone you’d least expect. It then festers into an offense and if not dealt with, becomes a wound that brings a slow death.

Had my brother lived I think he would preach one message today. “Forgive quickly, please forgive, it’s not worth it!” Don’t let another wounded soldier die. {eoa}

Prophecy: Can You Hear the Clock Ticking?

In the midst of all the noise, voices, chaos and gross darkness, it will be in our quiet moments with the Lord that we hear and experience His creativity and pioneering call to advance His kingdom.

The most powerful command could be “Be still and know that I am God … I will be exalted in the earth” (Ps. 46:10, NIV).

I would like to share what I am hearing in the time of war in this video message. {eoa}

The Bible Is Always Begging You To Open It

Recently I prayed, “Lord, let me read the Bible like it’s the very first time. Open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of Thy law” (Ps. 119:18). It works! I am seeing things I never saw before, and it is going into my spirit. It’s like I am being born again, again!
If The Enemy Is Telling You That You Don’t Need To Read The Bible As Much As You Used Need To Read It More!
Have you ever thought, “I have read the Bible so many times that I have a pretty good handle on what it is saying. Therefore I don’t need to read it as much”? Have you said, “I have read that certain Scripture so many times that I am confident that I know what that verse means by now? Besides, I have heard others share that they received the same meaning from it”?
Recently, I sensed the Lord saying, “There is a dangerous mindset in many of My people when it comes to receiving fresh revelation from My Word. The longer they walk with Me in My Word, there is a strong tendency for them to think they know it all! Many have forgotten that My Word is a living Word, full of ongoing revelation and eternal insights.”
What a Wonderful, Humbling Experience to Come to God Like a Child Every Day!
I believe “how” we pick up our Bibles to read them determines “how” we receive what is in it. If we come pridefully boasting in what we think we already know, we will surely fail in the full revelation of it. When was the last time God’s Word became personally alive to you? Was it when you were broken before Him and you felt like you didn’t know anything? Or was it when you thought you had some good ideas to share with God about how He could run the universe better? I believe it is still our subtle “know it all” attitude that keeps hindering us from the ongoing revelation of the One who knows everything! Perhaps “Unless you become as little children you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven” would be fitting for reading God’s Word also.
I used to minister in prisons for twenty-three years. One prisoner in a cell was handed a Bible, and he took it and threw it under his bed as he cursed it. Years later, he testified that there were nights he could not sleep. He couldn’t get that Bible out of his mind. One night he rose up and reached under his bed to get it. As he picked up that Bible, he said he had an irresistible urge to open it and start reading it. He could not put it down. The presence of a Bible in his cell overcame the powers of darkness in his life and set him free as well as others in that prison!
I have heard several testimonies of sick people who had all kinds of prayer but nothing changed. One woman testified after becoming so desperate, “Every night as I lay down in bed, I would take my Bible and lay it on my chest.” She said it wasn’t long until her sickness was gone! It made me wonder: If a closed Bible can do that, what can an open Bible do?
My Sleepless Nights Have Come To An End
I have stumbled onto something concerning thoughts that kept me awake at night. In desperation, I put my Bible (a thin one) under my pillow. Immediately all I could think of was God and how His Word spoke the universe into existence. Those evil thoughts stopped and were replaced by Scriptures coming to my mind. I didn’t even have to try to resist those bad thoughts; they just left me. The Word of God put me to sleep. Please don’t think I am crazy. All I know is it worked for me.
I believe we are in a kairos moment to receive fresh manna, hot out of the oven of heaven. Yesterday’s manna has gone stale for us. I want to encourage you to imagine for a moment that you have never read anything in the Bible. Now open it and begin reading it, for the very first time.
Pray this simple prayer first: “Open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of Thy law” (Ps. 119:18). {eoa}

Prophetic Dream; Shaking the Gates of Hell With a Basin of Water and a Towel

Recently, as I was waking up, a dream slipped into the bedroom and curiously awakened me.

In this dream, I was standing in a bathroom with several inches of water. As I looked down, I was barefoot. I then woke up wondering what that was about.

I wanted to call someone for an interpretation, but it was too early. A little later, brushing my teeth, the interpretation came.

The bathroom prophetically represents a place of cleansing; my bare feet gave away the interpretation. I sense the Lord saying. “It’s time for an old fashion foot-washing, for the feet of My people have walked through desert places the last several years, kicking up dust, mud and mire (a stretch of swampy or boggy ground), affecting their walk with Me and one another.”

“It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. “The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God. So, he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him” (John 13:1-5, NIV).

“When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. ‘Do you understand what I have done for you?’ he asked them. ‘You call me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very, truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them'” (John 13:12-17, NIV).

For the grand finale of servanthood before the cross, He chose a towel and a basin of water, for He knew the journey ahead for His disciples would be a long road to walk. Many today are experiencing, “Throwing in the towel syndrome.” Maybe we should use it first and see what happens. We may be surprised whose feet we are washing.

This short dream reminded me of a vision I received many years ago, which I believe is a “now” word for the body of Christ:

Shaking the Gates of Hell with a Basin of Water and a Towel (This word includes all weary feet.)

In the Spirit, I saw God’s footstep down into cities and regions of the earth. I knew His foot represented great authority coming to earth.

When I saw His foot, I knew He had come to take back territory the enemy had stolen from His kingdom. As I began rejoicing at why His foot stepped down upon the Earth, He interrupted my praise service with a strong command: “Wash My feet!”

I was dumbfounded. I said, “Lord, how could I ever wash your feet?”

Pastors and Leaders Washing One Another’s Feet

The Lord spoke, “When you see pastors and leaders coming together and washing one another’s feet, you will see My foot come down with great power, releasing whole regions and territories back into My kingdom!”

I then saw a vision of pastors and leaders humbly kneeling before each other with basins of water and towels. As they began washing one another’s feet, titles, positions and even names of churches started drowning in that small basin of water. Pride, jealousy and envy were being drowned in just 10 inches of water. Weary, blistered feet that had lost their way in the dusty, soiled road of life were being healed by water and two hands of a pastor down the street. Help was never far away.

Even Our Eyes Were Being Washed with Tears

Tears began filling these basins to overflowing… tears of repentance from judging and misunderstanding one another. Even our eyes were being washed with tears to see that we were not each other’s enemy but were on the same team.

It was such a beautiful, pitiful sight. Pastors of huge churches and leaders of small churches, humbled and bowing before one another, confessing our total inabilities to advance God’s kingdom. Revelation began breaking forth upon us of how we needed each other. Many were held in each other’s grip, breaking together. Holy kisses were given out upon the faces and the feet. And a presence came as though we had kissed the face of God.

I Saw Divine Authority Flow

At that moment, I saw divine authority flow from the feet of one who was also in our midst. A divine authority and power were being unleashed upon regions and territories. We were shaking the very gates of hell with a basin of water and a towel. It seemed the smaller we became in one another’s sight, the bigger God became in the sight of the enemy. God began exalting Himself in the Earth and among the heathen.

I heard the Lord speak to the angels that were present during foot washing. “Take the tears from those basins and put them in bottles. They will bring forth a great move of My Spirit to bring in the harvest.”

“Wash My feet.”

Wisdom From the Towel

* The storm that terrified the disciples at sea put Jesus to sleep. Remember, He is never afraid, and as a believer, He lives inside you. Maybe you need a nap.

* With the growing airline difficulties, one day many of you will be taking a chariot ride to minister in, transported by the Spirit, just because you’re crazy enough to want to. Stay crazy (Acts 8:39, NIV).

“Don’t be so hard on yourself! I already won your victory.” – Jesus {eoa}

Prophetic Insight: Do You Want to Fly Again?

There’s a recommissioning call coming to us, the body of Christ—a call to follow on to know the Lord like never before. “Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.” (Hos. 6:3, KJV).

Remember the miracle plane that landed in the Hudson River years ago? Upon takeoff, a flock of birds took out a couple of engines, and the plane had no place to land. Pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger said those dreadful words no one ever wants to hear, “Brace for impact, we’re going down!”

He landed the plane perfectly on the water, or it would have exploded. Sullenberger was asked later, “Did you pray?”

“No, I didn’t have time to pray,” he said. “I think the passengers took care of that.”

The passengers moved quickly out on the wings of the aircraft, waiting to be rescued as it began sinking.

Here is what the recommissioning call looks like. This call often comes to God’s people down through the ages when a major malfunction takes place in the world, our nation or our own lives. It’s when our plane doesn’t land the way we thought it would, or when we’re offended by God Himself not doing what we expected Him to do.

This is where He calls us—one more time—to follow on to know Him.

I believe if we could hear the conversation of many standing on those wings. it would go like this, “That’s it for me. I will never fly again.”

But if they could hear the voice of the Lord at that moment, they would hear, “I am with you still. I am still with you, and the proof is you are still here, and you are standing on My wings. You are on holy ground.”

The truth is, when we are in a traumatic crisis, we are on holy ground, and something awesome is about to happen.

I have a gut feeling there is another conversation going with a few on those wings who are saying, “With a pilot like that, I will never be afraid to fly again anywhere.”

God is looking for a people who want to fly again in spite of the trauma they have been through or the hurt that says, “I will never love again.”

Another Plane Is Now Boarding

There’s another plane now boarding if you want to fly again and follow on to know Him. I am boarding this plane myself, simply because the pilot’s name is Jesus. Where He leads me, I will follow. He lands airplanes anywhere He desires.

“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells” (Ps. 46:4, NIV).

“After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. So Jesus said to the twelve, ‘Do you want to go away as well?’ Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God'” (John 6:66-69, ESV).

Whispers From His Wings

Sing unto God, sing praises to His name! Extol Him that rides upon the heavens by His name JAH, and rejoice before Him” (Ps. 68:4, KJV).

“There is none like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in his majesty” (Deut. 33:26, ESV).

Dear friends, the question awaits us. Will we fly again? In spite of our plane of life landing in a river of trauma and us never wanting to fly again, here we are, still alive, standing on God’s wings. With a pilot like that, it’s a miracle moment.

Another plane is now boarding. Let’s fly again. {eoa}

Prophecy: The Lord Says, ‘Love God, Love People and Don’t Mess That Up!’

I keep hearing the phrase, “Go back to the drawing board. It’s time to go back to the drawing board. The blueprint needs to be looked at again.”

I believe we are being recommissioned to follow Jesus, to follow on to know Him like never before.

“And He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men'” (Matt. 4:19).

And then things got rough.

“Come, let us return to the Lord, for He has torn, and He will heal us. He has struck, and He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us. On the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him. Let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain; like the spring rains He will water the earth” (Hos. 6:1-3).

I said, “Lord, remind me of your strategic plan to save the world.”

He said, “Ok, listen carefully: Love God and love people. And don’t mess that up! And don’t mess that up!”

Those words grip me. I said, “So You mean we need to love one another in the body of Christ more, so the world will know we are Christians by our love?”

He said, “Not quite.”

“Then You must mean to love everybody,” I responded.

He said, “You’re getting closer.”

I thought for a moment, and said, “Lord, You wouldn’t mean that we should love our government officials, like the Democrat and Republican parties?”

He responded, “You are red hot. You are red hot.”

I said, “Why should I love them?

He said, “Because I do. They were on the cross when I died, right beside you. One died for all. Your loving and forgiving will be your protection from a root of bitterness that will destroy you and many.” He continued, “I don’t see Democrat or a Republican parties. I only see lost men and lost women on both sides. You only see men as trees walking, instead of seeing all men clearly. Love the lost and hate their sin and evil. I came to destroy the works of the devil, not people.”

Jesus Calls Matthew

“As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s station. And He said to him, ‘Follow Me.’ And he rose and followed Him” (Matt. 9:9). Jesus didn’t see a tax collector bleeding people from their money, nor did He see Matthew as part of the Roman Empire. He just saw a man.

One disciple said, “Master, he’s different from us.”

Jesus said to the disciple, “Get used to different.” (This is an adaptation of Scripture taken from The Chosen, but the message remains.)

I believe Jesus was saying, “Get used to the different way I see people than you do and love people you don’t.”

When God Interrupts Your Prayer Life

While praying in the Spirit recently, it sounded like the Chinese language. I said, “Lord, this is different for me. Why does this sound like Chinese?”

He responded, “Because you are praying for China.”

To my surprise I said, “You mean China that’s on the news?”

“Yes, you have just stumbled onto My ‘most wanted list’ where you used to be. China must be saved! I dare you to pray for China and your government in the Spirit.”

I believe we need to pray more in the Spirit, for we don’t know how to pray. He’s about to interrupt our selfish prayer life.

“But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God while you are waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, which leads to eternal life” (Jude 1:20-21).

He then showed me many overlooked people in America on His “most wanted list.” “My ways are not your ways, and My thoughts are not your thoughts. I came to destroy the works of the evil one with the purpose of saving people.”

I will tell you how you can know the names on God’s “most wanted list.” Just think of the people you don’t want to pray for or have given up hope for. The ones you are convinced who will never come to the Lord. But I have news for you. What if Jesus comes to them like He did to Saul? Jesus changed His name to Paul, and Paul wrote most of the New Testament. I believe God wants to do that again.

He then spoke, “Unless you and My people pray for the ones for whom I want to intervene and deliver from the evil one, your anger and bitterness against them will come upon you, and you will be destroyed by the same spirit that controls them. Your wrong spirit and the lack of a right spirit will take you down, for you don’t know of what Spirit you are.”

“Therefore I exhort first of all that you make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone, for kings and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim. 2:1-5, ESV). The Lord has highlighted the phrase, “that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” A special peace is promised to those who pray this way for people and governments whether they ever change or not. This may be the missing piece of the puzzle of why many do not have God’s peace this hour.

I’m in My Oval Office

In the midst of the mess this past year, I asked the Lord, “Where are You?”

He responded, “I’m in My Oval Office, and you’re going to be OK. Just come up higher.”

So I came up higher, and I’ll tell you how I got there. God’s love has lifted me higher than I’ve ever been lifted before. Remember when He first saved you, when nothing else could help, love lifted you. It still works that way. Loving people unconditionally is the elevator that takes us to the top floor. I have discovered this is how we come up higher: Love God, and love people. It’s different up here. I can see clearly now from God’s point of view—especially people.

His words still grip me: “And don’t mess that up!”

A Recall to Follow Jesus

— Just when it looks like every light on Planet Earth has gone out and the stars have fallen from their sockets, here comes the Son!

— “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matt. 5:44, NIV). “Loving your enemies is My protection plan for you, so bitterness doesn’t kill you.”

— Pain is often the beginning of our healing. {eoa}

Prophecy: It’s Time to Speak COVID Out of Existence

How many times have we said, “I’m broke, I’m sick, I’m catching a cold or virus,” and watched it come to pass? Little do we realize that when we open our mouth we are prophesying!

Why not say, “I have all the money I will ever need. I am catching another healing! Colds and viruses can’t catch up with me, for goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.” Besides that, healing runs in my family!

Sometimes we need to say something instead of praying something. I believe all the negative talk about COVID-19 has enabled it, for “death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Prov. 18:21).

I believe we’ve prayed long enough about this virus, and it’s time to corporately speak to it and kill it with our tongues. “Truly I tell you, if anyone ‘says’ to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they ‘say’ will happen, it will be done for them” (Mark 11:23, NIV). This Scripture is not about praying, it’s about saying.

So, we corporately say to you, spirit of COVID-19, “Be thou removed and cast into the sea and be no more in Jesus’ name!” We speak healing to run in your place, giving life as God’s power once more shakes the earth with healing, revealing Jesus Christ to multitudes. Amen and amen.

Healing Whispers

— I just saw Jesus weeping. One tear covered the whole earth as though it were cleansing us.

— I believe when God heals us there’s a footnote attached: “Eat healthier and exercise to keep your healing.”

—”I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Ps. 139:14). {eoa}

Prophetic Vision: Announcing a Heavenly Upgrade in Communications

Our son, Joel, from early on has always been obsessed with broadcasting, cameras and microphones. He used to walk around humming the NBC theme song that foretells Tom Brokaw’s appearance.

He once made a TV camera out of a cardboard box with a microphone (built-in tape recorder). In our house, you could be on camera any time with your voice being recorded. You could be doing anything around the house, and all of a sudden, you are on camera. He would come right up to your face, ready or not! He now interviews people from around the world.

The Cameras Are Rolling

In the Spirit, I saw angels installing satellite dishes on rooftops of churches and houses, with cameras and microphones being brought in also. These new installations would be bringing in the voice of God crystal-clear to His people. Large screen projections of heavenly sights and sounds would become normal occurrences in our churches, homes and everyday lives.

The installation of this equipment was also bringing a healthy fear of God into our lives. We had a knowing that as we were about to see and hear the Lord in our lives more clearly, we were also about to become more accountable to Him and each other. “To whom much has been given, much will be required” (Luke 12:48b, AMP).

Our actions and words are going to be taken more seriously by the Lord in this new season of His awareness in our lives. The microphones were being turned on, and the heavenly cameras were rolling! These powerful microphones were so sensitive that our very heartbeat, faintest whisper and even our thoughts would be heard in the throne room.

The most powerful and well-balanced personal prophetic word I have ever received in my life was short, sweet and serious: “The Lord says, ‘I have called you to be a watchman to the nations, and I am watching you!'”

Our Actions and Mouths Can Stop the Future of Our Purpose and Destiny

My wife and I were eating at a restaurant recently. We waited an extra-long time for our food. After waiting a long time also for the bill, I noticed the bill looked much cheaper than what we had ordered and eaten. I said to my wife, “Maybe the waitress figured we waited so long for our food that she gave us a discount on our bill.” I began praising the Lord for rewarding our patience and long suffering!

All of a sudden, my praise service was interrupted by what seemed to be a heavenly hidden camera focusing in on me, bringing strong conviction. My thoughts immediately changed. Did this waitress hear that I was ministering in her area, and was she, therefore, testing my honesty? I felt the fear of the Lord come upon me in that restaurant as the Holy Spirit clearly spoke, “Bill, if you were the owner of this restaurant, how would you prefer this bill to be paid?” I immediately said to my wife, “I’ve got to find this waitress and tell her there is a mistake on our bill.” I couldn’t wait to pay it, and I did pay it.

I sense our actions and words in response to situations will be very important in the days to come. God will honor our actions and words as they line up with His. But if our responses disagree with what His word says, our actions and mouths can stop the future of our purpose and destiny.

Say “Cheese”

I sense one of the main purposes of the cameras coming into His House was what I heard the Father request next, “Bill, I would like to get a good picture of all of my family together—a family portrait.”

I said, “Lord, where on earth could you ever get all of your people together to take this family portrait?”

He answered, “At the altar.”

I still found it difficult to believe we would all really fit into the picture He was requesting. It meant we all would have to really come together, press in beside one another and smile like we actually liked each other! God was reading my thoughts as He laughed and said, “It’s possible. Start smiling!”

As His Son picked up the heavenly camera, with the altar as the backdrop, I sensed the Father saying, “Some of my people will have to kneel down front to fit in. Some will have to get a little lower than others so I can see all of your faces for right now. Some will have to get a lot lower than that.

“That’s looking better now. Now press in a little closer to each other, shoulder to shoulder, and put your arms around each other. Could I have a few volunteers who would be willing to prostrate themselves to get everyone in this picture? Thank you. Now if you would all close your eyes and bow your head in prayer and pray one for another.

“That is perfect—picture perfect. Son, roll the camera.”

I heard the Father saying, “Don’t worry, I’ve got you on My radar; I got this!”

May our response be: “If You’re not in it, I don’t want it.” If this is true, I wonder how many things we would stop doing in Jesus’ name. {eoa}
