Country music legend Dolly Parton is in urgent need of prayer right now.

On social media, Parton’s sister, Freida Parton, shared with the world how she had been “up all night praying” for the musician.

Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been lead to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me. She’s strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!

On Sept. 28, 2025, Parton announced that she was putting her Las Vegas tour on hold due to some health challenges she was dealing with, which would require her to have some procedures done.

“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures,” Parton said.

The star continued, stating that she wanted to be at her very best before continuing on with the show.

I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see. You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you. While I’ll still be able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say.

Earlier this year, Parton’s husband, Carl Dean, passed away, who she considered a “God-send” in her life. The couple was together for 60 years.

“I think my husband and my relationship was just really a God-send…God knew I was going to need somebody like him if I was going to be doing all this crazy stuff,” Parton previously stated.

Parton’s faith has been a huge driving factor of her career. Back in 2023, Parton announced the release of her song, “Don’t Make Me Come Down There,” and how it was given to her through a prophetic dream by the Lord. The star stated that the dream was of God standing on top of a mountain.

“He was standing on a mountain top, looking down on us and in my dream I heard Him say, ‘Don’t make Me have to come down there. My children, you had best beware. If you don’t pay attention, consequences will be dire. Don’t make Me have to come down there.’”

For Parton, her “faith impacts everything that I do because I do believe that, through God, all things are possible…” she said in 2023. “I always ask God to bless everything that I do and the people that I work with and to bring all the right things and right people into my life and to take the wrong ones out.”

This hope in Christ also comes from Parton’s upbringing, rooting her in Christianity and its message of hope.

“I have a lot of faith, and that’s what gets me through my life; it always has,” she said. “I grew up here in these mountains in a very spiritual family. My grandpa was a preacher. I believe that through God, all things are possible, and that included my creativity and my dreams. It’s just really a fun night to be here seeing another dream come true, and I just thank God for all of it.”

Now, as Parton deals with these health issues, lift her up in prayer believing for God to do a miracle for her and her family.

Jordan Peterson’s daughter, Mikhaila Fuller, gave a heart-stopping update on how their family has been under overt spiritual attacks since her dad’s health dramatically declined.

In a video shared to X, Fuller stated, “This summer’s been exceedingly difficult. Dad was in ICU suffering with pneumonia and sepsis after dealing with a host of neurological issues…that we believe stem from CIRS, which is Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome from decades of mold exposure.”

Fuller then said that there has not been a better explanation given to her about her father’s condition other than it must be “spiritual attacks.”

Fuller says that her family was not able to communicate much with her father through most of the month of September. She says Peterson has now been moved out of ICU into a “less urgent” floor.

“Praise God for that,” Fuller says. “My family’s asking for prayers. Like I said, this summer’s been exceedingly difficult and terrifying.”

Along with her dad’s critical illness, Fuller also explained how her own newborn daughter almost died this summer as well.

“I believe there’s a spiritual element at play here. I think a lot of people have felt in the last few weeks and months. It’s been hitting my dad and my family hard this summer. In August, the day dad was brought to a hospital by ambulance, my newborn, Audrey was also brought to the hospital by ambulance within hours of each other. It was unbelievable. This was the second time this summer we brought Audrey to the hospital after she almost died from near-heart failure at six weeks old…”

Fuller says that through all of it, her family has been leaning on the Lord. She further recognized that God does and can use absolutely anything for good. Fuller says that she believes the best way to fight back against this attack is to continue forward with her father’s mission and works.

Maverick City Music is losing two of their biggest voices.

In a report by Premier Christian News, both Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine described the reasons why each decided to leave.

In an Instagram post, Moore wrote, “These last two years I’ve been locked in on what really matters…in my life and in my career. It’s been scary at times, but it’s also been full of fresh vision and real excitement about the future. With that, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to end my relationship with Maverick City Music.”

Moore also discussed how it was his dream to bring people closer to God through music when Maverick City was launched.

When we started Mav, I was grateful to have community and belonging while fulfilling my dream of making music that would help people experience God. And we did that…in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

Moore then thanked the fans and everyone who collaborated with Maverick City over the past few years. He then addressed that there is “certain business matters” that are being handled by his legal team.

This transition isn’t easy. Maverick is something I poured my heart into, so it’s almost like saying goodbye to your own kid, ha. I know there may be press and conversation around certain business matters that my legal team is handling. But my heart, my energy, and my focus are on what’s ahead.

The dream hasn’t changed. I’m stepping into this next phase ready to share my story and make music that helps people feel a little more human, a little more understood, and a little less alone.

After a lot of prayer and consideration, I’ve decided that now is the best time to share that I’m no longer a part of Maverick City Music. Being a part of Mav truly changed my life. What started as a group of folks singing in a shed, has turned into something I could’ve never even imagined!

This journey has changed my life forever. I don’t regret one single thing — the highs, the lows, the lessons…all of it. I’ve learned so much about God, about people, and about myself — and I will always carry those lessons with me.

Every song I was a part of was written and sung from a pure place, just me wanting to please God. And now, I believe God has given me the green light to step into what He’s calling me to do individually. Still writing. Still singing. Still worshiping and leading others in worship — just on my own.

Amanda Grace from Ark of Grace Ministries recently shared a prophetic insight connecting current events in the Middle East to the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles.

According to Grace, a prophetic word she received on Feb. 20, 2025 is now in action. In that word, Grace declared that 2025 would be a “year of Purim” and a year of reversals, saying: “for the year of Purim, reversals is about to begin. Says the Lord, A year of reversals, overturnings, siftings, shakings. Shock, says the Lord. Shock.”

Grace explained that these words point to a time when situations that appear fixed or established will experience a dramatic reversal. The timing of current events is significant because it coincides with the Feast of Tabernacles. This seven-day Jewish holiday commemorates the Exodus from Egypt and celebrates God’s faithfulness in delivering His people.

What makes 2025 particularly striking, according to Grace, is a reversal of the Exodus narrative itself. She noted: “So the feast of Tabernacles, which just began, commemorates the exodus out of Egypt. This year, 2025, as the feast of Tabernacles is beginning, a reversal happens, and all of these nations from the Middle East make an exodus back to Egypt to hold these talks between Israel and Hamas.”

Grace emphasized the prophetic significance of this timing: “…as the feast of Tabernacles is beginning…all these Middle Eastern nations, with Hamas and Israel, are gathering for talks, in no other place but Egypt, the place where the original exodus happened.”

She further explained the spiritual implications of this alignment: “Because these two have collided, we are on the cusp of seeing such an incredible reversal strike Hamas with this situation. So I would keep watch on this, because this reversal is prophetically happening in the midst of the feast of Tabernacles.”

Actress Patricia Heaton is giving a stark warning to Americans everywhere that unless things change here on our home front, we could experience another day of extreme terror.

Heaton spoke to Fox News Digital and described how the increase in antisemitic values in the United States along with the embrace of radical Islam could lead our nation to encountering another horrific day like what was experienced during 9/11.

“It’s hard to believe, but we’re going to see a 9/11 again in this country if people don’t wake up, take a stand and make their voices heard,” Heaton said.

Heaton also stated the bewilderment she experienced when people in the United States started to engage with propaganda against Israel.

“After October 7, I assumed that all of America, and particularly Christians, would be standing up for Israel, that there would be a massive outcry on October 8, and 9 and 10 in support of Israel and condemning what had happened…instead, there was a sort of silence from most Americans and a lot of churches and huge support for Palestine and for Hamas and for Gazans who went in and participated in this slaughter.”

Heaton further stated that, “…the whole world is supporting the perpetrators. It’s outrageous.”

She called for Christians to recognize that the atrocities committed against the Jewish people are also attacks on the values of both Jews and Christians.

“It’s very important for Christians to recognize this and support the Jewish people…for democracy, for Judeo-Christian values…you have to remember 9/11. You have to remember the first attack on the World Trade Center, and you have to take seriously these attacks on Jews that are happening on American soil.”

As believers, this is a sobering reminder of our spiritual responsibility to stand with God’s chosen people. Scripture is clear that His covenant with Israel has never been broken—what He promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob still holds true today. Just as God was faithful to His word in generations past, He will fulfill His promises to their descendants.

In a time when antisemitism is on the rise and truth is often distorted, Christians must be unwavering in their support for Israel and the Jewish people, praying for their peace, protection and ultimate restoration under God’s plan.

The Mormon Church continues to experience a season of struggle as one of their beloved sites was burned down in a fire.

According to Deseret News, a fire engulfed a Latter-day Saints Church located near Sydney, Australia. While crews worked endlessly to take on the flames, the roof of the building collapsed. There was no one inside of the structure when this occurred.

There reportedly were 120 firefighters and 20 different fire trucks that came to battle the flames.

“They did a lot of great work to try and cut the fire off from progressing into the main auditorium and chapel area of this church,” fire and rescue team member Steve Perkins said. “They were successful in that.”

The church’s locked gates made it harder for the fire crews to make it inside of the building.

“The structural integrity of the roof had also caved in,” Digby Werthmuller said, via ABC News Australia. “Which meant that firefighters weren’t able to get access to the building. Instead, they had to fight the fire using aerial appliances.”

A cause for the fire has not been determined at the time. The damage done to this building hits hard for some in the community, as one observer said: “This chapel has been around for many years…it’s just such a sad sight to see.”

In a statement by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the organization said they are “…saddened to confirm that an overnight fire has caused significant damage to the Hebersham meeting house of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints. The blaze occurred in the early hours of Monday, 6 October, 2025. While there has been extensive damage to the building, there have been no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is unclear and the Church is working with authorities as they investigate.”

This fire comes right after the terror attack in Michigan where a gunman killed multiple people inside of an LDS Church. The president of the LDS, Russell M. Nelson also recently passed away at the age of 101. His public funeral service is set to take place Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 12 p.m. MDT.

And then somebody would take her shoes off, stand her up and she would announce that an angel was inside of her.” She later realized, “…looking back those were not angels. Those were demons. And this was a way to control the church. This was a way to manipulate people. And this was very cultlike.”

As a teenager, Weaver’s curiosity drew her deeper into occult practices. “I saw it as a means of ‘let me be let me’… this is something that can bring me happiness, can bring me peace, can bring me control [and] power.” She began studying witchcraft, exploring crystals, sage, pendulums and books about nature-based practices. ““I believe it was demonic curiosity. I believe I was actually lured into it constantly. And “…there was a strong pull from the demonic side to get me away from the things of God because the enemy…identifies what kind of calling and what kind of impact you’re going to have in in the church world.”

Weaver encourages all to turn to Jesus Christ. “Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved… Repent of your sins. Our God, I lay this down. I lay that down. I turn from it. Lay it down right now in the name of Jesus Christ.” She concludes, “No matter what you do, lean into God every single day. Cultivate a relationship with Him. He literally is waiting with arms wide open for us to know him better. And when you know him, you will not fall prey to the deception of witchcraft in our day-to-day.”

The move toward a cashless society is another trend he sees as closely linked to end-times prophecy. “It’s already here,” Stone notes, observing that younger generations often conduct all transactions through apps or digital systems. He pointed to countries like China, where biometric systems such as retina and fingerprint scans are used for financial access, as examples of how society is moving toward total digital control. While recognizing the efficiency of such systems, he also highlights the potential spiritual and societal implications, warning that reliance on technology can be exploited for manipulation and control.

Regarding the Third Temple, Stone emphasizes that the physical building of the site doesn’t need to be as large as many think for it to be reconstructed. “A structure will exist there,” he says. He also acknowledges that currently, “The biggest [issue] is you have the Islamic mosque at one end and the Dome of the Rock in the center.”

How long is too long for a sermon?

In an article by the Christian Post, the outlet discussed how megachurch Pastor Ed Young of Fellowship Church located in Grapevine, Texas believes that half hour sermons are beyond the capacity of the modern-day listener.

“The  first service I preached 36 minutes. Way too long. The second service I did it in 20 minutes and 43 seconds,” Young said. “…the 20-minute message was better than the 36-minute message.”

The Post noted how Young also called out other pastors for being too long-winded in their messages. “Preachers, we preach too long, I guarantee it. Just look at yourself…I preach too long. Once a sermon gets past 25 minutes…I lose it.”

As the Post further reported, a survey by the Pew Research Center from 2019 showed how the median Catholic sermon was 14 minutes long, with Evangelical sermons with a median at 39 minutes in length. Mainline churches had a media of 25 minutes for sermon lengths, while black Protestant church sermons weighed in at about 54 minutes long.
