In an speech to a group of children, El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele gave a shocking statistic: he said 80,000 people in his country have been put in prison in order to have peace in their nation.

“We had to imprison 80,000 criminals to achieve this peace,” Bukele said. “Because entire generations had been left behind by previous governments. If those generations had been educated correctly, that would not have been necessary.”

Bukele then promised that this would not have to happen again in future times to come because a different type of education is being implemented into their country now to raise up leaders that will abide by a different system.

“Education isn’t just teaching math or science. Education is shaping people. It is teaching respect, civic duty, discipline and values,” he continued. “It is even teaching basic things such as saying, ‘thank you,’ ‘please’ and ‘good morning.’ These small things should never have been lost. It is teaching students to show up to school clean, take care of public spaces, not litter in the street, and respect the lives and private property of others.”

Bukele said it is much harder to break adults of poor habits than teach children the ones you want instilled in the first place.

This dramatic shift in El Salvador comes as here in America the National Guard was recently deployed into cities like Chicago and Washington, D.C. While there is truth that good morality should be part of the the fabric of a nation, the question is: Could these actions be setting up a dangerous precedent for things to come in the future? If the following administrations differ in their ideologies and values, what disciplines and definitions of morality will be placed on people? Could even Christians find themselves locked up behind bars if those in power disagree with their faith?

What begins as discipline and civic instruction can easily morph into control that violates freedom of worship, speech and faith itself.

The Rise of Regional Coalitions

Ezekiel 38–39 describes a future coalition led by nations from the north—widely interpreted as regions including Turkey, Iran and their allies—who will one day rise against Israel. In today’s headlines, we see those same nations forging alliances under the banner of diplomacy. Turkey, increasingly positioning itself as a mediator and regional power, may be stepping into the prophetic framework outlined more than 2,500 years ago.

Jerusalem: The Cup of Trembling

Joel 3:2 declares that God will judge the nations for scattering His people and dividing His land. Proposals for international administration of Gaza or for dividing territories once promised to Israel touch this prophetic nerve directly. Each diplomatic step taken without divine counsel edges closer to what the prophet warned—a confrontation not just between nations, but between heaven and earth.

While diplomats seek peace in the Middle East, believers are reminded that these tremors signal the unfolding of God’s Word. Jesus said, “When these things begin to happen, look up, for your redemption draws near” (Lk. 21:28). As nations gather in Istanbul to draft ceasefire plans, the true peace plan was already written in Scripture. Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a “COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN” — But that is the least of it. Loeb, who has speculated that this object may indeed be created from an intelligent source of life, wrote in his article: ” the non-gravitational acceleration might be the technological signature of an internal engine. This might also explain the report on 3I/ATLAS getting bluer than the Sun…”

During a question-and-answer session at the latest Turning Point USA event at Ole Miss, Vice President J.D. Vance discussed his desire for his wife, Usha, to come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Vance discussed how Usha grew up in a Hindu household, and that when they met they both would have considered themselves agnostic.

“Everybody has to come to their own arrangement here,” says Vance. “The way that we’ve come to our arrangement is she’s my best friend. We talk to each other about this stuff.”

The vice president noted that most Sundays Usha will join him for church.

“Do I hope eventually that she is somehow moved by the same thing that I was moved in by church? Yes, I honestly do wish that because I believe in the Christian gospel, and I hope my wife eventually comes to see it the same way,” he said. “But, if she doesn’t, God says everybody has free will, and so that doesn’t cause a problem for me, that’s something you work out with your friends, your family, with the person you of the most important Christian principles is that you respect free will. Usha’s closer to the priests who baptized me than maybe I am. They talk about this stuff.”

Second, my Christian faith tells me the Gospel is true and is good for human beings. My wife–as I said at the TPUSA–is the most amazing blessing I have in my life. She herself encouraged me to reengage with my faith many years ago. She is not a Christian and has no plans to convert, but like many people in an interfaith marriage–or any interfaith relationship–I hope she may one day see things as I do. Regardless, I’ll continue to love and support her and talk to her about faith and life and everything else, because she’s my wife.

As the United States endures a historic government shutdown, Amanda Grace is raising the alarm about spiritual patterns echoing across time and nations. Speaking from a prophetic perspective, Grace points out how the events surrounding the shutdown are not merely political, but part of a larger spiritual narrative, with parallels to both past crises and biblical warnings.

This current spiritual battle is further framed through the lens of Jewish tradition and Purim, the festival commemorating deliverance from the evil Haman in the Book of Esther. “Purim 2025 began Mar. 13, marked by a blood moon… protesters operating in the spirit of Amalek stormed Trump Tower and attempted to shut it down,” Grace recounts. Seven months later, on Oct. 1, 2025—Yom Kippur—the federal government itself shut down, reinforcing the spiritual significance of this period.

Looking ahead, Grace’s message notes that Purim 2026, beginning Mar. 2, will also be flanked by a blood moon, creating a window of spiritual significance around Trump’s first year back in office. “Trump’s first year of his second term is flanked by blood moons on Purim… two Purim, then in 2027, a Jewish leap year, which is double Purim,” Grace emphasizes. In biblical context, Purim is a time of divine reversal, when plots against God’s people are overturned through prayer, fasting, and righteous action.

An astonishing detail Hibbs points out is the role of David during this future era. Though resurrected, David will not serve as king; instead, he will be known as Prince David, presiding under the authority of Christ: “David at the commencement of the millennium… is no longer the king… He presides over Jerusalem and Israel as the prince.” This unique hierarchy emphasizes Christ’s ultimate authority while honoring David’s historical significance.

Hibbs also distinguishes between the different groups of believers throughout Scripture. Old Testament saints, ending with John the Baptist, wore white robes, as did tribulation saints at the end of the world. Church-age believers—the Bride of Christ—are unique. Hibbs points out that Scripture describes their garments differently: “We are the bride of Christ… never does it say that the bride of Christ is given white robes to wear. She is given fine white linen,” symbolizing the righteous acts of the saints. During the Millennium, the Bride of Christ will reign alongside Jesus, fulfilling their calling in a restored world under His governance.

Hibbs points to the choices of individuals during this time. “…if you read the book of Revelation, chapters 21 and 22, you will read there that Satan will be released at the end. And he will go about the world deceiving people, trying to get them to overturn the government of Christ. And that’s not going to succeed. But he’s going to draw people after him. Which means what? People will choose. Always choice. God built us to always exercise choice until you and I are either dead, resurrected, raptured, until we’re in glory, we have the ability to choose.”

In a powerful video, Vlad Savchuk discussed seven reasons Christians should avoid celebrating Halloween.

1. Halloween’s Roots Are Pagan

Savchuk begins by pulling back the curtain on the origins of this dark holiday.

“Halloween is an old Celtic festival that was called Samhain,” Savchuk says. “It was from October 31 to November 1. People believed that the spirit world and ours were closed during this time. In fact, they believed that the veil between our world and the spiritual world is the thinnest [during this time].”

While our culture has tried to sanitize it with costumes and candy, the roots remain deeply pagan and steeped in spiritual darkness.

2. Halloween Holds Deeper Darkness Than Most Realize

Savchuk warns that Halloween isn’t just a seasonal celebration—it’s a sacred ritual for those devoted to witchcraft and satanic practices.

“Many people who used to be in Satanism and occupied pretty high places would actually say that Halloween is a very big deal,” Savchuk says. Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan, even praised Christian parents for letting their children “worship the devil one night out of the year.”

3. Halloween Has Not Been Redeemed—it’s Hijacking Us

Some Christians argue that they’ve “redeemed” Halloween by adding Bible verses or church events—but Savchuk says the opposite is happening.

“The paganism and witchcraft is on the rise. It’s not a decline in our culture. We haven’t redeemed this. In fact, it’s hijacking us,” Savchuk says.

Instead of transforming darkness, believers are often being subtly transformed by it.

4. Halloween Conforms Us to Culture

Savchuk points out that Christians are not supposed to conform to the patterns of this world. Instead, our minds are to be renewed by Christ.

“We are called to change the world, not to conform to it,” Savchuk explains. “Daniel didn’t bow to the idols in order to fit into the Babylonian culture. We must engage with the culture, but we are not encouraged to imitate it. This world that we live in is our mission field, but we’re not called to try to appeal to it by being like it.”

Going after spiritual things without Christ is the same as taking part in demonic activities. When we entertain these things, we show an openness to evil being poured out on our society. However, this is not the way of the Holy Spirit.

5. Halloween Glorifies What Christianity Condemns

Fear, darkness and death are the foundation of Halloween—everything opposite to the kingdom of light.

“The Bible says that perfect love casts out fear. It doesn’t celebrate fear. Jesus is the light of the world, and we are called to be the reflection of His light in the dark and broken world,” Savchuk says. “The Word of God is light, and nothing about Christianity revolves around darkness. The only death we celebrate is Jesus’ death because it defeated the grave.”

6. Halloween Creates Fellowship With Evil

Savchuk asks believers to look around and be honest: does Halloween produce righteousness or darkness?

“Go to your local store and see what costumes are being presented and sold for Halloween. Nothing about it is righteous. Nothing about it is light. Nothing about it is love. Nothing about it is faith. It’s spookiness, it’s fear, it’s ghosts and it’s all haunted houses,” Savchuk states.

7. Halloween Dishonors Christ

Savchuk says Halloween promotes the debauchery and identity confusion already plaguing our world, making these issues worse instead of better.

“So much more of ungodly activities take place during this celebration. People get drunk, party and start using drugs,” Savchuk says.

As believers, we’re called to live sober-minded and Spirit-led—not caught up in the darkness of the world.

Halloween doesn’t point us to the light of Christ—it pulls us away from it. And as Savchuk reminds us, when the veil between worlds grows thin, it’s not time to play dress-up—it’s time to stand firm in the armor of God.

Many Christians unknowingly compromise their children’s spiritual safety, thinking participation is harmless. Swiegelaar asks a critical question for every parent: “If you are bought with the blood of Christ… why would you act like you are still for sale?” Dressing children in costumes, attending trunk-or-treat events or celebrating with candy does not remove the original spiritual intent of the day.

Parents have a God-given responsibility to protect their children. Former Satanist, John Ramirez, also warns, “Halloween, trunk or treat, the harvest, you sign legal rights over to the devil.”

In an interview with the New York Post, Vice President JD Vance was asked about his interest and knowledge regarding aliens.

Admitting that he had yet to take the time to really study government information regarding UFOs, Vance promised that he wants to “get to the bottom” of these increased sightings and unexplainable events.

“I will get to the bottom of this,” Vance said. “It’s going to take me a little bit of time.”

When asked if he believes in aliens, Vance examined the evidence from a spiritual perspective.

“I wouldn’t say that I do or don’t believe it,” he said. “I’m a big believer that there are things out there we can’t explain. If another person sees an alien, maybe I see an angel or a demon.”

He further stated his belief that there are real, spiritual forces at work in the world around us.

“I’m a big believer that there are like spiritual forces working on the physical world that a lot of us don’t see and a lot of us don’t understand and a lot of us don’t appreciate. Is it aliens or is it our guardian angel? Or is it aliens or is it a not-so-guardian force that doesn’t care about us, and in fact, actively wishes us harm? I don’t know the answer to that question. What I try to do is I try to say my prayers, I try to be as good of a person as I can be, and I try to do a good job, and hopefully, that’s all I need to do,” Vance stated.

The Vice President has continued to be very open about his faith, including at the latest Turning Point USA tour stop at Ole Miss where he tried to inspire the next generation to put their trust in God.

“I believe that I’ve been placed in this position for a brief period of time to do the most amount of good for God and for the country that I love so much,” Vance said in response to a student’s question. “Jesus Christ is the author of the fate of human history, and we are charged to do everything that we can to effectuate that vision, to make our country a more virtuous place, a more prosperous place…”

He also shared how, even though his wife, Usha, grew up Hindu, they are raising their children to be Christians and he hopes that she too will come to Jesus as her Lord and Savior someday.

“Do I hope eventually that she is somehow moved by the same thing that I was moved in by church? Yes, I honestly do wish that because I believe in the Christian gospel, and I hope my wife eventually comes to see it the same way,” Vance stated.
