IHOPKC Investigation of Misconduct Reports Continue

In a new update to the International House of Prayer Kansas City community, Eric Volz, managing director of the David House Agency, reported that General Fuller, the new executive director of IHOPKC, is currently reviewing the history of misconduct at IHOPKC.

“That review is far from over, but so far, we can say that for an organization this size with 25 years of operating history, over 20,000 staff who’ve served here, statistically speaking the number of known incidents is actually quite low. At the same time, we can confidently say that a few of those reported incidents, likely, were not handled properly. From what we can tell, most of those incidents happened under the watch of leaders who are no longer here, but that doesn’t change IHOPKC’s responsibility to thoroughly examine and address each case,” Volz said.

Volz discussed that some of the cases being examined are “clear-cut” while others are not. He said that lines between these two should not be blurred as more time is needed to continue investigating each incident.

“Regardless, on behalf of IHOPKC, I want to apologize in advance to anyone who has experienced harm here, or whose reports were not handled properly,” Volz said.

In regards to the specific investigation of Mike Bickle, Volz reported that IHOPKC is still working to reach an agreement with the advocate group.

“IHOPKC has also confirmed that a final report will be released directly from the investigator,” Volz confirmed. This means the ministry will not be able to edit any information before it is released.

According to Volz, the private investigator has interviewed those who claim to have information about the allegations against Bickle.

“Though we don’t know the details, we know that the investigator has conducted numerous interviews with individuals who claim to have information related to the allegations against Mike Bickle,” Volz said. “But we also know she has not been permitted to speak to any of the alleged victims of members of the advocate group. And as a result, IHOPKC still has not been able to verify the allegations that were presented by the advocate group last October.”

According to Volz, the advocate group currently does not feel comfortable with their approach, but IHOPKC is hopeful for an agreement to be reached.

This update comes after David Sliker stepped down as president of IHOPU and IHOPKC’s executive leadership team just a couple of weeks ago. Executive director Stuart Greaves also stepped away from the ministry’s board of directors. On December 22, the International House of Prayer Kansas City made the decision to “formally and permanently” separate from Mike Bickle.

Bill Johnson: ‘The Lord is Releasing an Anna and Simeon Anointing’

In a message of encouragement for 2024, Bill Johnson is reminding the body of Christ to stay focused on one thing above all others, and that is to know the Lord.

Just as Anna and Simeon were both fixated on seeking the presence of the Lord for the Messiah to come, we are also to seek Him above all other things.

“The Lord is releasing an Anna and Simeon anointing,” Johnson said. “It’s the Matthew 6 anointing; it’s the eye that has settled on one journey. The reason my whole body is full of life, the reason my entire life is under the visible manifestation of the glory of God is because I have determined I am alive for one thing.”

Johnson said that as we shift our focus away from the things of this world such as worries, fears and doubts, we do not need as much to encourage us. Instead of being led by our emotions, when we keep our head up and our eyes transfixed on the glory of God, on seeking Him, on knowing who He is, then we see our greater purpose as beings created to worship the Lord.

“The more focused you are on why you’re alive, the less it takes to encourage you,” Johnson said.

Johnson also reminded the church that it’s not just about seeing God in the big, bold moments of life, but when we seek Him in the mundane, when we see that He is with us and wants to talk with us even through the small moments, we have the opportunity to be all in for the Lord.

“If you’re not all in, you miss the seeds. You miss the subtle signs of God’s working. Because He doesn’t always just come and just show Himself boldly and strongly,” Johnson said.

Johnson points to the peculiarity and the subtlety of Jesus coming to the world as an infant. To most people, they just saw an infant. And in coming as a baby, He in no way would have seemed to be the Savior of the world from a first look. However, for those who prayed, fasted and waited expectantly for the Lord to show up, they saw exactly who He was. Anna and Simeon kept their eyes transfixed on God in a time when He was silent, knowing that the Messiah would someday come. They kept their eyes on God, and He delivered to them the promise they prayed and sought after.

As God is getting ready to do new things in 2024, Johnson inspires us to make Jesus the One thing we desire more than anything.

“The gestation period is soon coming to an end, a conclusion, and there will be a birthing of something very powerful and very new in the earth, but specifically in you and me. And I believe the Lord is wooing us into the one thing…God, forgive me everywhere I’ve been distracted, I’ve voluntarily submitted myself to distractions that have wared over my heart, fought over my heart,” Johnson said.

No matter what kind of season you’ve been walking through, whether it’s been on the mountaintop or in the valley, there’s no better time to delve deeper into relationship with the Lord than right now, here at the beginning of a brand-new year.

2024: The Year of the Shift?

Is 2024 the year of the shift? And if so, what new things are we going to see the Lord do in this new season?

In an exclusive Beyond The Article interview with Charisma Magazine Online, apostle Bible Davids is sharing how this year will bring about great shifts and that at the end of the year, it will be undeniable that God was always in the middle of it.

“Just like what God is doing now, the heavens [are] gathering rain and the atmosphere is becoming more and more pregnant with power and glory of God, and it’s going to pour into America,” Davids says. “And by the time 2024 is over, everybody in this nation will know that God rules in their fears, and God has the final say in everything.”

With people all over the nation looking in anticipation for what is to come with the 2024 election, Davids says this is one area in particular that the God’s power and presence will be made manifest for His perfect will.

“The Lord will reveal a candidate that is anointed by God,” Davids says. “Based on a prophetic timeline, and hold back everything that is antithetical to the will of God in the United States of America…take the window of opportunity that the Lord is going to give to us to establish the order of the kingdom and the culture of heaven in a way that would allow us to navigate the biggest revival before the coming of Jesus Christ.”

2024 will also be a year of God building up those who are unafraid to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. There will be a rising up on college campuses of ministers that God will use to share His good news with the world.

“A lot of voices are going to be emerging, and a lot of voices are going to be crumbling,” Davids says. “Things that the world had never seen before, when it pertains to the manifestation of the power of God is going to come to the mainstream…God will start to raise up stones, living stones, the stones which the builders have rejected. They’re going to come to start to preach the gospel and manifest the power of God. And the Spirit of the Lord says, ‘Watch out for the campuses because My Spirit and My anointing is going to break out on different university campuses across the United States.'”

What God is doing now, as Davids put it, will end the era of “churchianity” in America.

“The days of churchianity is over,” Davids says. “The days of plain church is over, and God is calling us to consecration.”

In his feature article in Charisma Magazine Online, Davids further notes that this year will be marked by shakings, both in the U.S. and across the globe, which means that it is time for us to be spiritually alert as we seek and anticipate the Lord’s return. Whether it’s politics, economics or the things of the spirit, we can know that God is in control, and that He is going to do new things all throughout 2024.

Jenny Weaver Warns of the Two Priesthoods Rising in 2024

The new year of 2024 has been prophesied over by lots of different voices and ministry leaders, many of which who have warned about a need to cling to Jesus to avoid coming darkness and deception. But what if this goes even deeper than the basics of everything we’ve been taught? What if there are two different priesthoods rising up, one that is blessed, and one that is cursed?

In her prophetic word for 2024, Jenny Weaver gave what she considered a heavy, but important, message to the body of Christ for 2024.

“There are two priesthoods. The first priesthood will be cursed. This is a cursed priesthood. This is an evil priesthood. This is a prideful priesthood. Self-serving, they are lovers of filth. They mishandle God’s people, and they are defiled before the Lord,” Weaver says.

She warns that this is the moment for believers to stop seeking constant, positive messages, and instead take the time to discern spirits from the voices they are listening to and see what it is that God actually wants to do and what He wants to speak.

“The second priesthood will be a faithful priesthood,” Weaver says. “A pure priesthood, righteous, holy, they are ministers after God’s own heart.”

Weaver went back to the Word of God in 1 Samuel chapter 2 where Scripture speaks of how the sons of Eli were corrupt, and did not actually know the Lord, yet they still found themselves in a position where they were ministering in the temple. Just because someone is in a position of authority, it is critical that we test the spirits; not all ministries have the glorification of our heavenly Father at the forefront of their mind. However, because the spiritual watchmen and gatekeepers fell asleep, there are now wolves in the midst of the sheep.

So, what is it that genuine believers need to be in-tune with? Weaver says we must know the fear of the Lord. Staying on the course that the Lord has designated each person and church to be on will be critical for a fruitful 2024.

“The Lord said to me…there are houses of prayer; He has designed you to be a house of prayer for all nations. And the Lord said, ‘Do not change your assignment and go the political route because you see other churches doing that. They have their assignment, you have yours.’ Stay the course and God will continue to bless it. If you get off course, then you’ll do your own thing and whatever happens, happens,” Weaver says.

Keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus will also continue to be a critical, key component of what believers are called to do in 2024.

“We are living in the last days and the deception is going to get worse and worse, and if you are deceived now at the beginning stages of dark deception, what are you going to do when it gets even worse?” Weaver asks.

As we seek the goodness of the Lord, let us not become afraid or grow weary in doing the tasks that God has given to us. Even if they don’t seem to make sense in the moment, God has a plan and a purpose, and we must not question His authority and what He asks of us. Our obedience, and reverence of God’s holiness is what will keep us and propel us as we move forward into this year.

The Rise of Blasphemous ‘Atheist Churches’

In an age where we see more people continuing to leave the church, it’s no surprise that “atheist churches” are on the rise.

Yes, that’s right. Christians aren’t the only ones going to church these days. While varying religious groups all over the world have always gathered to worship, what’s interesting is that more non-religious groups today are getting together to have testimony nights and services centered on external factors other than God.

As The Conversation reported, “secular congregations often mimic religious organizations by using the language structure of a ‘church,’ such as meeting on Sundays or hearing a member’s ‘testimony,’ or by adapting religious language or practices in other ways.”

Some of these atheist churches promote the use of drugs to gain some semblance of a spiritual experience, whereas others are concerned about ways to gain eternal life here on this earth or by sharing their belief that there is no God. The evidence that these churches have already influenced society can be seen just from the fact that a prominent university like Harvard chose to have an atheist become their chaplain. Of course this happened after the school turned away from its Christian roots.

So, it’s no surprise that atheist churches would begin to pop up all over the nation. The Conversation reported that these atheist churches still have messages and there are still times of affirmation for what they believe.

When churches start to move away from the truth of the gospel and preach their own version of truth, it’s no surprise that we see the secular start to invade or manipulate its own version of religious community. The apostasy that the church has allowed to creep in with drag queen nuns, creeds that have nothing to do with Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and the acceptance of sin as normal not only diminishes Christ’s power, but it allows for the church to be mocked. In many ways, there’s little difference today between an atheist church and the churches that many Christians find themselves in.

In December 2023, Pew Research Center found that “22% of U.S. adults fall into the category of spiritual but not religious.” Whether we want to admit it, or not we all believe in something, even if you don’t practice some form of standard religious routine. All people worship something. While the atheist church may not believe there is a God, by meeting together, sharing their passions for why they believe there is no God, they have found their idol—hatred against God.

The atheist church is, in essence, a worship of man. As The Conversation reported, Sunday Assembly, the original atheist “mega-church,” practices “debaptisms” where people renounce their former faith. This is a blatant, blasphemous action against God to take the sign that He gave us to make a public declaration that we would follow Him and turn it against Him.

Psalm 40:4 says, “Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.” Let us remember that everything we could ever need is to be found right in the presence of the Lord. It is God and God alone who we can place our trust in. Our own efforts are nothing but boastful, and when we chase after other things, other gods, we will fall. It is only from keeping Christ as our firm foundation that we can and will find true, meaningful life.

Did Jonathan Cahn’s 2023 Predictions Come True?

At the beginning of 2023, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn gave a message that recapped the previous year and brought hope for the year to come. Now as we look back a year later, we can see that what he had to say was more than just mere words on paper—they were biblical prophecies come to life.

“In 2022 just recently, Benjamin Netanyahu came back into office as the nation’s prime minister,” Cahn said. “Now prophetically that could mean that Israel will take more steps with regard to the Jewish people being able to pray on the Temple Mount and steps in the direction that will ultimately lead to the building of the second temple as the Bible says,” Cahn said.

Part of Netanyahu’s importance in this sequence of events is that he had been prophesied over about the importance of the position God had placed him in.

“I spoke to a brother in the Lord who gave a prophecy to Netanyahu during his first term as prime minster,” Cahn said. “Netanyahu didn’t know what to make of it but he said ‘I have put you in the position you’re in. Do not give up my land or I will remove you from power.”

Netanyahu found himself giving up land and later removed from that place of position. Years later, the same man prophesied over Netanyahu where he was told that the Lord would give him another chance so long as he would not compromise. What it all is leading up to, at the end of the day, is the rebuilding of the temple.

Outside of the prophetic import of Netanyahu, Cahn predicted events which could lead to an Intifada, and an uprising against Israel. He also made the point that the coming back of the red heifer fulfilled more biblical prophecy.

“The red heifer is a cow that’s needed for a special purification in the temple, but red heifers pretty much don’t exist. But they were found this year Texas. Not one, but several of them. And the rabbis came to Texas to verify that is was a red heifer,” Cahn said.

Not only have we seen the red heifers return, but just as Cahn predicted there has been a greater persecution of believers that has escalated in the last few years, just as Scripture warns that will happen.

“There has been more persecution of believers in modern times, in our day, than in all the rest of the church age,” Cahn said.

And perhaps the most eerie of all things spoken about was the coming of war against Israel. In 2023 we saw countless, innocent lives slaughtered when Hamas attacked the Israeli people.

“The Bible says that in the last days all nations will come against Israel—an attack that will lead to Armageddon,” Cahn said. “This year, just recently, the U.N. General Assembly voted to adopt a resolution to commemorate what is called ‘Nakba Day.’ What is that? ‘Nakba’ is Arabic, it means the catastrophe,” Cahn said.

But not only was ‘catastrophe’ day adopted, but it specifically deals with Israel.

“What was the catastrophe that the U.N. adopted? The birth of Israel,” Cahn said. “The U.N. voted to declare Israel’s birth a catastrophe,” Cahn said.

The declaration against Israel goes even further than simply stating hatred for Israel—a vote took place to demand Israel to give up its nuclear weapons.

“The U.N. has never voted for the most dangerous of nations like China to give up its nuclear weapons or Pakistan which has become a haven for terrorists. Just one nation they want to disarm. You know, the vote was 152 nations against five. When it gets to zero then it’s Armageddon,” Cahn said.

So, are we facing Armageddon? Are we facing the greatest crisis we ever could have seen? When we look at Scripture, it is promised that there will be a great falling away during the last days.

“I don’t know if you noticed it, but 2022 was filled with apostasy and it even accelerated,” Cahn said.

Looking now into the beginning of 2024, we can easily identify that yes, the apostasy is running rampant as we see actual churches abandoning the Word of God for the culture of the world, and the continued indoctrination of children with LGBTQ values. As the apostasy continues, this is the moment to stand strong in the face of darkness. We are living in the moment when good is called evil and evil is called good. However, this is the time to stay rooted in the Word of God, not run away from it.

“There is no darkness that the light of God cannot pierce,” Cahn said. “Let’s increase the light.”

6 Areas to Pray for Deliverance From the Evil One

In a crazed and divided world, it’s easy to see the evil all around. There’s the breakdown of the family unit, drugs, violence and addiction, all screaming the vices that have taken hold of our modern-day world. And yet, even in this complete and utter darkness, the Lord’s prayer to “deliver us from evil” is still true, and there is nothing too great to keep us from this promise.

In his exclusive Beyond the Article interview with Charisma Magazine Online, Lee Grady is sharing six ways that believers can pray for deliverance from evil.

“I came up with this strategy to pray, ‘deliver us from evil’ in six different areas,” Grady says.

  1. Deliver us from Lawlessness

“The first one is from lawlessness. Lawlessness and violence, and we are in a lawless crisis moment right now.”

As there have been more vandalisms, news stories that showcase stores that have openly allowed thefts to take place, and businesses that don’t want to get involved with the crimes taking place, Grady says this is one area where it is necessary for us to pray for deliverance.

“We need to pray ‘Lord, deliver us from this madness,’ right, because it’s not going to have a good ending if we allow this to continue,” Grady says.

2. Deliver us from Mental Health Crises.

As we see more and more people deal with mental illness, including younger generations, this prayer for deliverance couldn’t come at any possible better time.

“Deliver us from a mental health breakdown because we are in the middle of that right now, and I think it’s only going to get worse if we don’t do something about the border and about the fentanyl that’s pouring into our country,” Grady says.

Drug addiction and abuse is one of the leading factors that Grady sees as a demonic principality that is causing these mental health issues.

3. Deliver us from Media Deception.

While this one seems to be a given from what most of us see in the news today, it’s important to remember that genuine manipulation is happening because of this deception.

“It becomes manipulation, it becomes indoctrination,” Grady says.

4. Deliver us from Perversion.

From the sexualization of our society with the overtake of the LGBTQ agenda and the push of the transgender motives in schools, this is one area we can be certain that deliverance is needed.

“Our culture has been completely sexualized and there’s an agenda that’s being forced on us,” Grady says.

5. Deliver us from Racism.

There has become a narrative that only certain groups can be racist. However, as Grady points out, racism is not based on skin color alone.

“We know that racism comes from the heart. It has nothing to do with your skin color and anybody can be racist,” Grady says. “It’s been embraced by corporate America, it’s been embraced by our university know we all have to search our hearts to get free from that, and you know the church has not always been in a good place about this.”

6. Deliver us from Greed.

“One thing that I did see throughout the pandemic and it’s still very clear to me is that our corporate world has also been controlled by the spirit,” Grady says. “It just feels like people are cutting all kinds of corners in order to make a buck and it’s costing us lives; it’s destructive.”

In a time when prayer and deliverance are not readily discussed even among some Christian circles, it’s important to know that God is our protector and provider, and if we call on His name, He will be with us and keep us even from the darkest of times.

Perry Stone Uncovers the Apocalyptic Signs of the Israel-Gaza War

Is the ongoing war in Israel a sign of the coming end times? Could it be considered an apocalyptic event?

In a new message on YouTube, Perry Stone is discussing in depth how this current war has all of the signs of an end times event.

“The mother of all battles is called Armageddon,” Stone said. “So, what is happening in the Middle East, especially with Israel and the situation in the Gaza Strip, many people believe that this is the beginning of what we will see in the next few months or years that will climax into what we call the apocalyptic wars that are alluded to in Bible prophecy.”

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

Stone believes that this particular war going on in Israel has “every characteristic of being prophetic.” Stone gave the Bible specifications about what we can expect to see when apocalyptic wars come about, particularly from the books of Zechariah, Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation.

“There’s a war in the book of Psalms with a series of nations,” Stone said. “There is a war called the Gog-Magog War, which is Islamic nations forming a coalition that come against the nation of Israel in the Golan Heights and also on the east side of the Jordan that is a war which is predicted to take place in the latter days, and of course at the end of the seven-year tribulation is the Great Tribulation War called Armageddon.”

Stone also shared how Revelation gives key verses for what end times battles will look like in regards to the Holy Land. Revelation 16:12 says: “the kings of the East will cross the Euphrates River toward the Holy Land,” Revelation 13:4 discusses the Antichrist and his armies, and Revelation 12:17 talks about war against a woman, which symbolizes Israel. Revelation 18:10 mentions destruction of Babylon, and chapter 13 verse 7 says there will be a war against the saints while Revelation 17:14 says how war will even be waged against the Lamb, but He will prevail.

“What we’re seeing could eventually lead to a major war, World War III in the Middle East, but when we stick to what we see in the apocalyptic Scriptures, it’s very clear that there will be different wars in different locations at the time of the end,” Stone said.

Another thing we have to understand about the coming end of time wars is how some wars are wars of prophecy, which Scripture reveals to us.

“When World War II took place, and when Germany became involved under Hitler and the Nazis of trying to take over most of Europe, that war, when it concluded led to the reestablishment of Israel as a nation and a homeland for the Jewish people. There is always a major outcome in every prophetic war,” Stone said.

The Battle of Armageddon, as Stone said, will be the moment when Jesus Christ will come with the armies of heaven. This will also usher in Jesus’ rule and reign on earth for a thousand years.

“Always remember this: That every major war of prophecy has a positive prophetic outcome in the eyes of God,” Stone said.

While we can expect that many wars have and will continue to take place, we can know that God sees each of them, and even in the middle of loss and heartbreak, He is still sovereign through it all.

4 Things God Spoke to the Schatzlines about 2024

In an exclusive interview with Charisma News, Pat and Karen Schatzline shared what they believe are four things to keep an eye on in 2024 as they believe this is the year of acceleration that will end the waiting season for many. Pat Schatzline believes that in this season, there is also a very specific verse that God is wanting to use as a proclamation throughout the entire year.

“I’ll never forget that morning, December 5,” Pat Schatzline said. “And the Lord spoke to me suddenly; I just sat up [and] felt Him coming to the room. And He said, ‘in 2024 I want you to declare Psalm 24 verse seven every day in 2024.'”

What is in Psalm 24:7? Psalm 24:7 reads: “Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you everlasting doors, that the King of glory may enter.”

This verse shows that every area of life should be made for the Lord to say, work and be glorified however He desires.

“He began to download, He said, ‘This next year will be a year of acceleration. It will seem as if time is speeding,'” Pat said. “The slowdown in many lives will end. Delay will stop. I think delay is about to stop for those that are hearing this message. And He said, ‘This will be a year where the weary experience strength and those who have been battling sickness will experience healing.”

The first part of this healing that the Schatzlines share is that people will begin to adjust and make things right in their calling and relationship with God to have a passion and a desire for Him the way that perhaps they had been missing out on since the pandemic hit in 2020.

The second thing they see happening in 2024 is that God will bring in beauty for ashes, especially in regards to prodigal children who have wandered away from the faith.

“The turnaround of hearts is already happening,” Pat said. “I want to speak to everyone that’s watching right now that has the prodigal, the prodigal daughter, the prodigal son, granddaughter, niece, whatever, or father or mother; this is the season where God is whispering to them ‘come back home.'”

The third thing that will come in 2024 is specifically for churches who are seeking after God with their whole hearts.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

“He began to speak to me, said churches that have been contending for His presence and boldly proclaiming His work; we’ll have a year of ‘suddenlys’…not those that are just learning, that are tight-roping truth, [but] those that are declaring truth with love because we don’t throw rocks, we throw robes. We pull people out of things by declaring will be in the atmosphere, hungry and the hurting will begin to show up in churches with expectations” says Pat

And the fourth thing that God stirred up for the Schatzlines to prophetically declare for 2024 is that God is going to intervene in human affairs.

“There will be tangible moments where God interrupts the plan of man,” Pat said.

While the Schatzlines acknowledge that the wickedness and destruction of the world will continue to increase, there will also be a greater blessing and favor on those who love the Lord.

“This will be a year where My blessing and favor unfolds upon the righteous as never before,” Pat prophesied. “Those who walk in the council of the Lord will experience My delight, My prophecies that have been forgotten or shelved will be fulfilled in the lives of My children. My blessing shall flow forth upon those that I trust. And to those that trust Me, businesses will suddenly see increase and security restored.”

Karen Schatzline also added that this is the time that will prove how important a season of waiting was for their benefit and to build up the kingdom of God.

“If we haven’t been taking advantage of the waiting season and leaning in and listening to God, then those people who are called to step in and fill those gaps will not be ready. And so it’s a clarion call to all of those in our world that are truly feel God calling them into the secret place for them to go there, to stay there, to lean in to hear from Him so that when the moment comes, they can step out and have the words of truth and freedom to spread across our nation,” Karen explains.

As God is getting ready to launch the church and individuals to new heights, it’s key for us to remember that He is looking for those with a willing and open heart who desire to follow Him and keep His commands.

Jonathan Cahn’s End Times Rebuke for the Pope

In a timely, prophetic, end times message, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is warning the Pope and the wider Catholic church about what may be heading their way for accepting the decision to allow priests to bless same-sex couples.

“This is the Pope’s great moment of apostasy,” Cahn said. “It’s a watershed moment, it’s a red flag moment, a milestone for Catholicism and even for Western civilization.”

One of these red flags is the fact that the Pope has declared that the Ten Commandments is too rigid.

“So, which of the Ten Commandments must we not become too set on having? Other gods? Idols? Coveting? Adultery? Murder? Which ones exactly should we become less strong about?” Cahn asked.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

According to the Catholic faith, the Pope is supposed to be the representative of Christ here on earth. Yet, this representative is blatantly promoting sin that the Bible strictly prohibits. The same Bible that says that Jesus is the Word of God is the same Scripture that the Pope is now outright denying as the full truth.

“Pope Francis said that someone who holds strongly to such things as the Ten Commandments has something wrong with them,” Cahn said. “Does that include Jesus because as far as I know, Jesus was pretty set on that.”

As the Pope suggested that this acceptance of same-sex marriage is to help us move forward, Cahn makes the point that when moving forward is over a cliff, it’s not something we are supposed to do.

“If moving forward means moving forward off a cliff, then I don’t want to be part of that forward moving movement because it’s not really forward, it’s downward,” Cahn said.

This great apostasy, this desecration and avoidance of the Word of God leads people instead directly away from the Shepherd and into hell. So what is happening that would cause Christians, including one of the most recognizable of all, to lead people away from God’s truth?

This apostasy is foretold in Scripture that it must happen before Jesus’ return. And today, we are witnessing a return to paganism, away from Christianity.

“We’re witnessing the return to paganism and to these ancient spirits,” Cahn said. “And now the change is being wrought by the church. And since the Roman-based church, or what became the Catholic church, had a major role in solidifying these moral changes away from paganism for this to happen, now in the Catholic church is a major sign.”

In fact, Cahn softly, but assuredly shares with Catholics that these kinds of values that the Pope is placing above reverence for God should loudly and clearly show that what is happening in the Catholic church is not of God.

“It is the nature of man to go by tradition for churches and sects and religions to elevate their traditions to the Word of God or versus the Word of God,” Cahn said. “Once you elevate the traditions of men you’re on dangerous ground because then man takes the authority of God…”

Cahn warns that what is currently happening is that the Pope is leading people astray, and at the end of the day each individual is responsible for their own decision either to or not to follow Christ.
