Can a Christian Accidentally Entertain the Demonic?

Is it possible for Christians to unknowingly entertain the demonic?

In one of his recent question-and-answer sessions, Isaiah Saldivar answers the tough question about Christians entertaining demonic spirits and astral projection.

Receiving a call from a woman named Eva who previously worked in network marketing, she explained how the industry is steeped in the concept of manifestation and meditation to reach your potential.

The caller said she believed she was a Christian at the time of her inclusion of new age practices in her life. One night, she meditated while lying in bed, going out of her physical body and experiencing the spiritual realm. However, during this moment outside of her physical body, she had a thought that something in the house would break, leading to her hearing something shatter in her kitchen.

“Immediately I hear something shatter in my kitchen,” Eva says.

She jumped out of her meditation and ran downstairs, even waking up her husband to see the commotion of what had happened. Now a fully committed Christian since this event, Eva has one question: was this demonic activity from her meditation, or was it the Lord?

“I’ve always wondered like, ‘God was that you?’” Eva asks.

Saldivar warns that while God may have been trying to get her attention, it is possible that the meditation opened the door to demonic activity. He also warns that certain career fields like network marketing tend to take pagan and Christian practices and mix them together.

“Here’s the problem with a lot of this new age stuff,” Saldivar says. “They mix Christianity in with it…but what they practice is completely new age spirituality with the manifestation, with the meditation, with the astral projection.”

Saldivar further goes on to note the danger of astral projection, which is purposefully coming out of your physical body during a spiritual experience.

“If your spirit’s coming out of your body, you’re astral projecting,” Saldivar says. “You’re going to the spiritual realm. It’s not biblical for you to force yourself out of your body.”

Jenny Weaver Warns: The Jezebel Spirit is in the Church

The Jezebel spirit has found its way into the church and mainstream culture.

In a new video, revivalist and ex-witch Jenny Weaver is calling out the influx of the Jezebel spirit in our culture and churches today.

“This spirit is very, very present in our churches, in our pulpits, in our choirs, on our worship teams and the intercessory team, in the prophetic teams,” Weaver says. “We need to unmask the spirit and the spirit behaves a certain way.”

Weaver says you can go from church to church and find this spirit permeating the room. She warns church leaders not to back down from the truth of God’s Word by feeding into this demonic entity.

“You’ve got to get strong because this spirit will come in and they will go to your office and they will cry so bad…they’ll try to make themselves the victim,” Weaver says. “You have to understand how this spirit operates so that you can uproot it because if you don’t uproot it it’s going to uproot your church.”

Weaver says one of the signs of a Jezebel spirit operating in a church setting is a person’s refusal to submit, whether to the pastor, staff or other leadership. She also urges Christians to know that this spirit can have affects on both men and women, especially when coupled with an Ahab spirit. She says there are signs Christians should look out for if they may be entertaining this Jezebel spirit.

“Are you controlling? Are you manipulative? Do you have an issue with submitting to authority?” Weaver asks.

Weaver’s message comes after the controversy over the Stronger Men’s Conference happened where Pastor Mark Driscoll called out sword swallower Alex Magala’s performance as being influenced by the Jezebel spirit.

Jonathan Cahn Prophecy: Israel, Iran and the End Times

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Looking at Ezekiel 38, which discusses an invasion of Israel, Cahn says there are specific details mentioned in this Scripture that are key to what we are seeing today.

“It is a prophecy of [a] coming invasion of Israel,” Cahn says. “An invasion that involves not one nation but a host of nations, a multitude…it says it will happen in the latter years. That means end times. It’s going to come up Israel, an Israel that has been gathered back from the nations. That’s only happened now.”

There’s one particular term in Scripture that is pertinent to everything else Cahn unveils about Israel and Iran’s connection to one another: the word ‘paras.’

“It is the nation or kingdom of Persia. When Ezekiel wrote this, Persia had not even come into its world empire; it was just rising up, but would become extremely important,” Cahn says.

“Ezekiel says that in the last days the nation of Persia, or Iran, will be an enemy of the gathered nation of Israel,” Cahn says.

While all of Ezekiel 38 has not yet occurred, Cahn believes this attack from Iran on Israel is a significant event because it marks the beginning, the symbol, of the nations of the world attacking Israel. It also signifies Israel’s re-entry onto the world stage.

However, the spiritual warfare is even deeper than the beginning of the Ezekiel 38 prophecy.

As Cahn points out, in the book of Daniel it was the “sar paras” which kept the angel of the Lord from coming immediately to Daniel. “Sar” breaks down into prince, captain or master, and “paras” is the same word used in Ezekiel 38 which refers to Persia.

“It’s battling against an angel of God, so it’s an entity of evil,” Cahn says.

This battle between the angelic isn’t just something we read about in Daniel’s story. Cahn believes this battle will be heightened during the end times over the fate of Israel because the forces of darkness want to do everything in their power to keep the Messiah from returning.

Dog the Bounty Hunter Talks Spiritual Warfare and Faith

When people think of Dog the Bounty Hunter, they may not think of a warrior in the spiritual realm. However, he may have more experience with the supernatural than anyone thought.

Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, discussed with the Christian Post the traumatic things he’s seen firsthand.

“I have arrested and seen men that would do terrible things to little children as young as six months old. That is demonic possession. That is evil at its max,” Chapman said.

Chapman has become more vocal about his faith in Christ, opening up about his journey in his new book. After spending much of his life chasing down felons, he’s seen how the grace of God is needed for all people.

“I’m supposed to follow the steps of Jesus, as I be Christlike. So I’m going to take as many felons to heaven that I can,” Chapman told Jesse Watters.

Chapman says that God is the one who sustained him through the toughest situations in his life. From losing his daughter and later his wife, to the heartbreaking struggles of dealing with those who have committed heinous crimes, Chapman recognizes how God’s hand has been on his life during these challenges.

“The Bible says that he who has forgiven the most has to give the most. I’ve been forgiven a lot. So, I have to give more than you,” Chapman said.

Chapman also refers to the Scripture and how it says that the end of days will be the time when God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh.

“So many guys and girls are confessing their faith. God’s Spirit is pouring out on all flesh…The pouring out of God’s Spirit is out there,” Chapman said.

Chapman’s faith is a testament that we are meant to love one another in the self-sacrificial way that Jesus loved us. No matter how dark the past, no matter what kind of actions someone has done in the past, God is still chasing after them. He desires a relationship with each of us, and He will continue to pursue us even through the testimony of someone like Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Orange Children’s Curriculum Leaders Step Down After ‘Inappropriate Relationship’

Both the founder and CEO of a major children’s ministry curriculum have resigned from their positions with Orange curriculum following their ‘inappropriate’ relationship.

The founder of the company, Reggie Joiner, admitted to prior inappropriate adult relationships. The CEO of Orange, Kristen Ivy, also voluntarily resigned after revealing she had a past relationship with Joiner.

As The Christian Post reported, the board chair, Joel Manby and the and special governance chair, Jennifer Barnes, stated that “Reggie has admitted to past inappropriate adult relationships, which violated our company policy and eroded trust within our organization.”

On X, author and columnist Jonathan Merritt shared a letter from Orange to their partners announcing the resignations of Joiner and Ivy.

“We have moved quickly to respond, and we are continuing to engage in a responsible and transparent process. As a result, Kristen and Reggie will not be part of next week’s conference,” the letter read.

The Orange curriculum has been widely used across denominations and churches in over 40 nations, for pre-school ages through high school. On Orange’s website, they partnered with 10,000 leaders, impacting over a quarter of a million preschoolers, nearly 400,000 elementary students and almost 200,000 teenagers between 2022 and 2023.

In the middle of transition with both Joiner and Ivy’s absence, acting president Mike Clear will lead Orange as they search for new leadership.

“While we do not have a definitive timeline for hiring a CEO, we assure you we are committed to moving forward thoughtfully and diligently, keeping in mind what is best for Orange, our partners, and—above all—our mission,” the letter reads.

With recent ministries impacted by scandals, affairs and other issues, this is the moment for the church to pray for the light of God’s truth to be revealed, and for healing and unity to occur among all of those affected by these incidents.

The Orange conference begins today, April 23, and will last through Thursday, April 25 in Atlanta, GA.

Allen Parr Unveils the Signs of a False Teacher

In our world today, it seems as though Christians are attacking other Christians in unprecedented numbers. Are many of these teachers actually false teachers, or do we just disagree with one another?

In an exclusive interview with Charisma News, YouTuber Allen Parr discussed the ways we can know if someone is truly a false teacher or not.

“I want to make sure I do my part, as a Christian teacher to equip people to be able to discern truth from error because I wasn’t able to do that early on in my walk,” Parr says.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Parr says that the way a minister teaches is key when choosing which church to attend.

“One of the things that I look for is, is the pastor teaching expository…or is it all topical? And for those who may not know what expositional preaching is, it’s when the pastor takes a passage of Scripture, gives you the theological, biblical and cultural context of what’s happening in that passage, what came before and what came after,” Parr says.

While there can be a time and a place for various Scriptures discussing a certain topic, Parr warns of pulling too much from the Bible out of context. Not only should a true church be sharing the fullness of God’s Word, but they should also offer believers the opportunity to use individual gifts and skills.

Parr also provides a reminder that simply disagreeing with one another about theology that is not an issue of salvation does not make someone a false teacher.

“A false teacher is not someone who teaches that women can be in ministry. That’s a secondary issue that we can discuss offline. But a false teacher is someone who is teaching against the core tenets of the Christian faith.”

A false teacher, then, is someone who deviates away from the truth of the Scripture. They are someone who moves people further away from the Trinity, away from who God truly is.

Parr also asks for Christians, specifically for Christian creators to take into consideration the type of content they are consuming and producing and the reasons why they are doing so.

Students Protest ‘Furry’ Invasion at Their School

Who would have thought our world would come to a place where children are terrified of their classmates, not because they are bullies, but because they believe they’re animals?

In Utah, middle schoolers protested after dealing with classmates who identify as furries. Furries are people who identify as animals, whether as a dog, cat or other creature. They believe their true self is an animal, not a person. Some of these people will dress up in animal costumes, masks and headbands.

Now, the children of Mount Nebo Middle School have had enough of the charade.

This started with a petition on called “Students for Humans at School, not animals aka furries.”

Currently, over 2,700 people have signed this petition.

The petition is asking for the school administration to enforce code which reads, “Jewelry, accessories, tattoos, hair, facial hair, and other elements of a student’s appearance that draw undo attention, distract, disrupt, or otherwise interfere with the learning atmosphere at school or at school activities and events, or that create a health, safety, or welfare issue are prohibited.”

This protest comes as the children complained that the students who identify as furries have bitten them, and that they seemingly are allowed to wear their masks and other furry regalia even after they were prohibited.

“They don’t get in trouble,” a student said in a video clip played by commentator Matt Walsh. “The principal doesn’t make them get in trouble.”

“All the principal says, is, ‘be kind, be nice,'” another student chimed in.

“If they bite us, we just kick them,” a student said.

“They attack us [and] we get in trouble,” another said.

Another student said the furries bite, scratch and sometimes pounce on them.

However, the Nebo School District spokesperson, Seth Sorenson, has said that these accusations are false.

As the Salt Lake Tribune reported, the school district says a letter that went out to families was “misinterpreted.” In this letter, a small group of children were mentioned as being targeted for dressing differently, emphasizing kindness to all students. The school tried to put out the fire by sending a follow-up letter.

Taylor Swift’s Latest Blasphemous, Anti-Holy Spirit Album

Taylor Swift is holding nothing back on her latest album when it comes to her personal beliefs.

Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” is nothing short of blasphemous when it comes to her choice of lyrics. Using stories from Scripture in negative manners, Swift is using the Bible to flush out her anger.

In her song, “Guilty as Sin” the lyrics say:

What if I roll the stone away? / They’re gonna crucify me anyway / What if the way you hold me is actually what’s holy?

This clearly references to the actual pain and suffering Jesus went through on our behalf for the sins of the world. Swift has downplayed the most significant event in human history by comparing it to her tumultuous love life.

Another song, called “The Prophecy” uses references to the Garden of Eden and the changing of destiny.

I got cursed like Eve got bitten / Oh, was it punishment?

The song continues:

Change the prophecy / Don’t want money / Just someone who wants my company / Let it once be me / What do I have to speak to / About if they can redo the prophecy?

The album continues with the song “But Daddy I Love Him,” which uses rebellion, explicit language and describes two female heroines of the faith as nothing more than church gossips.

I just learned these people only raise you to cage you / Sarahs and Hannahs in their Sunday best / Clutching their pearls, sighing, “What a mess” / I just learned these people try and save you ’cause they hate you.

Clearly, these lyrics are taking creative liberty about Swift’s love life and comparing them in negative ways about the truth of the gospel, that God so loved the world that He gave us His only Son.

On Facebook, worship leader Sean Feucht wrote, “Almost half the songs on Taylor Swift’s new album contain explicit lyrics (E), make fun of Christians and straight up blaspheme God.”

Swift’s background of using the occult and dark themes in her music is only becoming more explicit over time about how she truly feels when it comes to Christianity. Using the sacredness of Christ’s example is an insult to believers.

Recently, The Times of Israel reported that a Jewish mother created a Taylor Swift Haggadah themed book for Passover, which begins tonight. The book is currently the #1 new release in Jewish Sacred writings.

Whether Christian or Jew, people should be cautious about taking in and listening to Swift’s music. Old and New Testament beliefs appear to be up for grabs for Swift and her music filled with debauchery and self-centeredness. Perhaps this is the perfect time instead to pray for someone like Swift, that her eyes would be opened to the truth of the gospel.

Mark Driscoll Responds with Teachings on the Jezebel Spirit

After a swarm of occurrences from last week’s Stronger Men’s Conference, Mark Driscoll has since been called off of the platform by John Lindell, reconciled to him and was then asked to publicly repent by James River Church for his comments about the Jezebel spirit being at the conference.

So, what is Driscoll’s response to Lindell and James River Church?

Four days ago, Driscoll wrote on Facebook, “Going to livestream every day this week to help everyone understand the Ahab, Jezebel, and Elijah spirit. The same spirits are at work today. Get ready.”

This came after Driscoll called out Alex Magala’s sword swallowing performance at the men’s conference for being demonic.

“The Jezebel spirit opened up our event. There was a platform. It was a high place. On it was a pole, an Asherah pole, the same thing that’s used in a strip club for women who have the Jezebel spirit to seduce men,” Driscoll said.

Following this, Lindell asked Driscoll to come off of the stage, and the two later reconciled. However, just days later, Lindell shared personal texts between Driscoll, himself and Lindell’s son, David. This pushed Lindell and the James River Church community to press Driscoll to publicly repent for what he said about Magala’s performance. Magala also issued a statement about his performance being part of an ancient tradition, also emphasizing that he is a Christian even though he had performed in the past as a pole dancer.

“We are calling on you to publicly repent for sowing disunity in the body of Christ,” Lindell said. “We are calling on you to publicly repent for trying to destroy James River Church through attacking its leadership.”

As a response to this, Driscoll has been streaming content non-stop about the Jezebel spirit.

“I was at a men’s conference last week and, well…something came up. Still would like to share my Elijah talk,” Driscoll wrote on Facebook.

Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church responded to Driscoll saying, “Support you 1,000%. Thank you for being bold, humble and Biblical. Appreciate you deeply.”

On his YouTube channel, Mark Driscoll has livestreamed videos called, “How to Overcome the Jezebel Spirit,” “Warning to America: You NEED the Elijah Spirit,” and “The Jezebel Spirit is in American Churches” over the last three days.

Time will tell if Driscoll says anything explicitly to confront James River Church.

Prophecy for Elon Musk: ‘I Sit on the Highest Throne’

Is God sending Elon Musk a prophetic message?

In one of her latest livestreams, prophetic voice Amanda Grace said the Lord downloaded a lengthy, but important message to her about Elon Musk.

“The Lord gave me a word for Elon Musk,” Grace said. “I’ve been sitting on this word for three days to pray about it because I take personal words very seriously, and some of them I’m not allowed to give publicly. And some of them I am. Well, this one I’m permitted to give publicly.”

Giving what she considers a very deep word, Grace shared how God wants to heal the hurts of Musk’s past, direct him toward the truth of who He is and warn him about the ways the darkness is trying to use his mind and inventions.

“As your name means you have grown into a tall oak in the earth. However, says the Lord, as oak trees grow and their roots stretch across the land, their roots can become invasive in areas that were not mean to be breached by roots,” Grace prophesied.

“The might grew, areas were breached that disturbed areas where forces of darkness were waiting for a time of opportunity, says the Lord…Elon there is a kingdom of darkness…advanced beyond the technology you so have ushered in. And yes, Elon, there is the kingdom of the Almighty God in which I sit on the highest throne,” Grace continued.

Grace’s prophecy was also specific about how Musk has always been curious to know more about who God truly is. She further provided details that the women who have come into his life have been traps, much like a siren, to keep him away from God and off target from the greater plans and purposes God has for him.

“The sirens, the seducers you have laid with are meant to ensnare you, not to be a helpmate to you of what I the Lord commissioned women to be,” Grace prophesied.

Grace also prophesied specifically about the artificial intelligence that Elon has created as well. She says it will not provide Musk with something greater than the Lord Himself.

“My essence, My power, My spirit, is unlike anything man can create for I AM the Creator,” Grace prophesied.

While none of us know every detail of why Amanda Grace was given such a specific word for Elon Musk, we can pray for him. As a major thought leader and innovator in our modern age, the salvation of someone like Elon Musk could most certainly make a huge impact in the world.
