During Mandisa’s celebration of life service her father, John Hundley, claimed that he does not believe she harmed herself. He mentioned her body being potentially weak from COVID.

“She did not harm herself,” Hundley said. “There is one thing you may not have known. She told me some time ago that she had gotten COVID-19 and she had been weak trying to get over that, but she was trying to press through.”

Hundley says he has spent time with investigators as they try to figure out the cause of Mandisa’s death. He gave his own belief of what he thinks happened at the time of Mandisa’s death.

“Here’s what I think happened,” Hundley said. “Mandisa fell down in her bedroom. They found her on the floor. If you look from the rear of her bed, she was laying on the left side. It’s clear that’s where she was laying…I found her phone on the right side of the bed. There was no way for Mandisa to get around the bed and go up there and get her phone to call for help.”

Police previously ruled out the potential of any criminal or suspicious activity in relation to Mandisa’s death.

Mandisa’s journey has inspired many as she was open about her struggles with loss and depression, while clinging to her faith as she proclaimed Jesus to be Lord and savior through it all.

Comedian Russell Brand is sharing his gratitude and the weight he feels lifted off of him following his baptism.

“Yesterday, I got baptized, and it was an incredible, profound experience,” Brand says in a video posted to Facebook. “Many aspects of it were very intimate and personal.”

Brand noted that throughout his life he’s tried all kinds of different substances in hopes of feeling some type of transcendental experience. He’s wanted desperately to connect to something in a spiritual manner, but all other things have failed him. However, becoming a new creation in Christ has made all the difference. Now, Brand feels the peace that surpasses all understanding that only God can give.

“Something occurred in the process of baptism that was incredible, overwhelming,” Brand says. “I felt changed, transitioned.”

While acknowledging the fact that he still lives in the world and must actively engage with work, family and other elements of life, he knows that there is a greater power at work within him now. While some may see him as just another celebrity doing something for attention, Brand says this isn’t the case. Instead, he says he knows what it’s like to be poor, to be an addict and to be famous. In all of these scenarios what he actually needed was God.

“This is new for me. I’m learning, and I will make mistakes. But this is my path now. And I already feel incredibly blessed, relieved, nourished, held. It’s been an incredible experience,” Brand says.

Brand believes sharing his baptismal experience is part of his ministry and his mission.

“I’m so grateful to be surrendered in Christ,” Brand says.

Brand’s baptism comes after his announcement on Friday that he was going to be taking the plunge into the water to commit himself to God.

The V1 Miami Church held a revival service with Pastor Mike Signorelli and Jenny Weaver where many decided to get baptized. However, during this time of spontaneous baptisms, law enforcement arrived to shut down the event.

“We responded to the gathering here,” a law enforcement officer said. “Now this is private property, and they’re asking that you guys leave. I need the crowd to disperse and you guys need to go right now.”

Before the event concluded, Signorelli was allowed to let one more person get baptized. With all grace and kindness, Signorelli respected what the police was asking for.

“How many of you guys are thankful for our local law enforcement?” Signorelli asked.

The crowd cheered, and then one additional person chimed up that she still wanted to be baptized. The police officer allowed for her to hop in the back of the truck where the baptism pool was to take the plunge.

“One more,” Signorelli and the crowd pleaded for the young woman to get baptized. “There’s only one…We’ll do this one and we’re done.”

Following this exciting baptism, Signorelli cried out “Hallelujah!”

“There is a Baptism REVIVAL happening right now!” Signorelli wrote on Facebook.

Weaver also took to Instagram to share about the massive baptism experience.

“The cops were called today while we were baptizing…probably due to large crowds or something,” Weaver wrote on Instagram. “They did make us stop but they let us get the person baptized.”

Weaver also wrote on Facebook about how God has placed it on her heart to focus on baptisms during this time.

“The Lord spoke to me in march and said, ‘This will be the summer of baptisms,'” Weaver wrote. “Later the Lord revealed that it’s a part of His plan for getting the church ready for His coming. I believe salvations, deliverance and baptisms are the way the Lord is cleaning up the bride and getting her spotless and ready.”

V1 Church posted on Facebook about the experience. “Can you believe we baptized people in a parking lot in Miami?? Whatever it takes to get the gospel out!”

While these baptisms were shut down, this event showcases how the Holy Spirit is working right now. The hunger for people to experience a new life with Christ to the point of getting baptized in a parking lot proves that God can and does change lives all the time. There is no place, no past and no sin too great for His unwavering love to transform us from the inside out.

A dangerous law is taking gender identity to the max.

In the middle of April, the German Parliament decided to pass the “Self-Determination Act” or the SBGG.

As Reduxx Magazine noted, this bill “establishes ‘gender identity’ as a protected characteristic and allows parents to change the sex marker on their children’s documents from birth.”

With this piece of legislation, young teenagers will be able to change their legal identities.

As the AP reported, “The new rules allow minors 14 years and older to change their name and legal gender with approval from their parents or guardians.”

If the family does not agree to the child’s wishes to transition, it is possible for the child to request for the court to overrule their family’s decision.

Justice Minister Marco Buschman believes that at the end of the day parents will ask themselves “What is the best thing for my child?” He also supports the bill because he believes that those who identify as transgender are currently uncomfortable with society’s questioning of their lifestyle and choices.

“Those affected have found this questioning very degrading,” Buschmann said.

93-year-old Doris Sumner’s supernatural experience with God has changed her entire life.

Sharing her testimony through Seeking His Presence Ministries, Sumner says this vision started during a time of meditating and reading the Word of God with her husband. Soon, it appeared as though her husband was gone, and there was a divine presence in the room with her.

“This presence spoke to me. He said, ‘I am God,'” Sumner says. “He spoke to my heart. He spoke to me in the spirit. He didn’t show me His face, but His presence was like nothing I had ever felt. It never happened to me before as I marveled at His presence.”

Sumner says in this vision God took her hand and she began to walk with Him. She says their communication happened in the spirit as He led her along.

“There’s not anything greater than the presence of God,” Sumner says.

In the vision, Sumner and God were walking toward an entrance. Where God was leading her was shocking and remarkable.

“He said, ‘This is the door to the third heaven,'” God impressed to Sumner.

Realizing how majestic the third heaven is from reading in Scripture, Sumner says she told God she was unsure if she wanted to walk through the door yet. She feared she may not be able to come back out of it. Sumner further notes that she wanted to stay here on earth to stand with Jesus to intercede on behalf of her loved ones and her church family.

“I told Him in my vision, ‘I want to stand with you if you will let me,'” Sumner says.

She says God guided her, turning her around to head back. She then saw her husband again in their study with his Bible open. However, Sumner says the overwhelming presence of God and the door to the third heaven wasn’t the only thing she saw during this vision. She saw the broken, tortured back of another man.

“He was so wounded. He was extremely wounded. His back was broken and deformed,” Sumner says. “His body was so wounded that it looked like it had aged prematurely. He had suffered to the extreme. That’s what it had looked like. That He had suffered to the extreme…I knew that was Jesus. And God let me see Him the way He was when He came back from the cross.”

Sumner says she was grieved, wanting to cry over the perfect person of Christ who was so utterly disfigured, the One who carried the scars and sins of the world. Her heart was full of love and compassion as she saw the agony Christ went through for her.

“I feel that unsurpassing love, and I’m telling you, it’s worth waiting for,” Sumner says.

This miraculous, remarkable vision that God gave to Sumner goes to show that no one is too young or too old to experience Him in incredible ways. He is the one who bore our sins and defeated death and the grave itself. It is through Christ and Christ alone that we are redeemed and can enter into true eternal paradise.

Christian artist Mandisa Hundley will have her life and legacy celebrated this weekend after her death on Thursday, April 18.

As The Tennessean reported, Hundley, more affectionately known as Mandisa by fans, will be celebrated in two different services. The first service will be held at Fisk University, Mandisa’s alma mater on Friday April 25.

Fisk University’s Jubilee Singers are also planning to dedicate a song to Mandisa during their commencement ceremony on May 5.

Currently, the Franklin, Tennessee police department is continuing to look into the case of Mandisa’s passing.

 “At this time, there is no indication the death was the result of suspicious or criminal activity,” the department wrote on X.

In America there has been an explosion of squatters coming in and taking over people’s homes. Essentially, if you want something that your neighbor has, including their home, you can take it in our society.

One squatter in Detroit shared her story, saying she was encouraged by other people to squat. She also has no intentions of moving out of the home because she’s “put a lot of work in here and spent a lot of money,” even calling herself “blessed” for stealing the neighbor’s electricity.

What if this increase of squatting is deeper than an issue in the physical, but is actually a reflection of a spiritual reality?

Grace For Purpose draws this comparison between the uptick of squatters and demons coming to occupy a person.

“Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, consecrated to God and sacred,” the video says. “So just as a squatter has no real legal right to possess a home they don’t own, a demon has no right to possess or squat on a Christian who is filled with the Holy Ghost.”

Squatters have no more right to our homes than a demon does to try to park itself in us as temples of the Holy Spirit. However, demons will still try to oppress and torment Christians, desiring to return to its former home.

Matthew 12: 43-45 reads:

When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through dry places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, “I will return to my house from which I came.” And when it comes, it finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be also with this evil generation.

During a prophetic briefing with the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders, Cindy Jacobs shared a Word that the Lord had given her about Europe, the Middle East and North America.

“Do not think that the people who are protesting and calling for a Palestinian state are just protesting on behalf of Palestine,” Jacobs prophesies. “Whether they understand or not, there is an insurrection forming that is like unto the communist takeover in Russia for the downfall of the tsars. Jacobs says that what is happening with the protests of students across the nation goes much deeper than they understand. There are forces behind the alliance with Iranian caliphate and Hezbollah that have a goal of destruction. The nations in the Middle East will have no choice but to choose a side because of the caliphate’s takeover of the land. Nations like Russia and China will also join forces with the Islamic states. However, she says the forces of Islam will not allow them to stick with these other nations.

“Even if these alliances work as an excess of evil, Islam will eventually break these alliances to take over. The insurrectionists are set in Paris, London and other European cities as well as in Australia, Latin America,” Jacobs continues.

However, she says that repentance before the Lord makes all the difference. His hand and revival can come upon God’s people if we choose to place Him above all other things.

“The hand of God is waiting to cover those nations who are on their face in repentance and holiness,” Jacobs prophesies. “Judgment has begun at the house of God and will increase…for those who truly love Me more than hide in your sin, I will help you even though it will be difficult. You can choose to go the hard way or the way of holiness and repentance.”

We are in a position where the Lord will no longer allow us to have mixture in our lives. We cannot have one foot in the door with Him and one outside. Consequences will come for those who do not give themselves completely to God.

It all comes down to this one particular word: If the church repents, God will relent.

“If the church repents, I will relent,” Jacobs prophesies. “I will protect your nations. If the church repents, I will deal with the coming world consequences and wisdom to the leaders of your nations.”

God is giving His people the opportunity to be protected from the darkness coming upon the world. Perhaps this is the time to take these warnings seriously and walk in the way of God’s supernatural wisdom.
