Where did the mysterious monolith in Nevada come from?

The strange monolith appeared in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the middle of a trail. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shared the images of it on Facebook.

“We see a lot of weird things when people go hiking like not being prepared for the weather, not bringing enough water…but check this out!” The department wrote.

The question is, how did this mysterious object get up there, and does it signal something supernatural? Some may even ask: Did aliens leave this monolith there?

In a statement to Charisma Media, L.A. Marzulli says that the most likely scenario is that these monoliths are part of a distraction.

“Random hoaxes in my opinion. However, it makes people wonder and gets lots of attention,” Marzulli says.

This bizarre discovery of a monolith in the middle of Nevada is not the first strange thing to be found in the state.

As Charisma reported, 10-foot-tall giant remains were discovered in the state. Some were even mummified with red hair. These giants were reportedly uncovered in 1911 by in a cave by miners and were dubbed as the “Lovelock Giants.”

Nevada has also been a spot of conspiracy for years, including with what kinds of potential extraterrestrial activity has taken place in Area 51. So, is this monolith simply another part of conspiracy, something supernatural or part of an other-worldly encounter?

While we may not be clear on if this monolith is part of a hoax or a conspiracy, it isn’t the first one to appear in recent months. In March another mysterious monolith found in Wales was discovered on a hilltop. As the BBC noted, Craig Muir was “taken aback” when he saw what looked like a steel structure in the open space.

The “Bling Bishop” Lamor Whitehead has been sentenced to nine years in prison for fraud and extortion charges.

U.S. District Judge, Lorna G. Schofield, placed the sentencing time on Whitehead, according to NPR. Whitehead has been found guilty of fraud, extortion and lying to the FBI.

One of the crimes he committed against one of his own parishioners included taking $90,000 from single mother, Pauline Anderson. Whitehead promised her that the investment would go toward providing her with a new living space. However, court documents show that Whitehead used the money for his own personal use instead.

Whitehead’s shady expenditures first became the center of attention in 2022 when he was arrested for the alleged scamming of a church member. Whitehead’s lies also included “having the keys to the city” due to his connection with New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

Whitehead was also accused of making a fake bank statement to appear as though he had millions of dollars in his account to get a $250,000 loan. However, the account had less than $6 in it.

Before Whitehead’s arrest in 2022, Whitehead found himself as the target of robbers who held him at gun point. As both Charisma News and The New York Post reported, the thieves stole: “[a] $75,000 Rolex watch, a $75,000 Cavalier watch and a $25,000 ruby and diamond ring, among other valuables.”

The Urban Alternative has canceled their scheduled cruise down the Mexican Riviera with Tony Evans.

Evans stepped away from the ministry due to past “sin.” Now, his ministry, The Urban Alternative, has decided to cancel his upcoming ministry cruise.

Following the announcement that Dr. Tony Evans will be stepping away from his senior pastoral duties at OCBF (Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas), and as he pursues the healing and restoration process established by the elders, The Urban Alternative has decided it would be best to cancel the Mexican Riviera Cruise with Tony Evans.”

The cruise was scheduled for November 9-16, with rooms as expensive as $3,900 per person. Evans’ cruise was through Inspiration Travel, which focuses on unique travel destinations for Christians.

No specific reason was given as to why Evans was leaving ministry other than that he “fell short.”

“A number of years ago, I fell short of that standard. I am, therefore, required to apply the same biblical standard of repentance and restoration to myself that I have applied to others,” Evans’ statement read.

It is Evans’ hope that this time of stepping down from ministry will “afford me a needed time of spiritual recovery and healing.”

Robert Morris has resigned from Gateway Church.

The statement came from the Board of Elders of Gateway Church:

Today, June 18, the Board of Elders of Gateway Church accepted the resignation of Robert Morris, the senior pastor. In addition, the Board has retained the law firm of Haynes & Boone, LLP, to conduct an independent, thorough, and professional review of the report of past abuse to ensure we have a complete understanding of the events from 1982-1987.”

The statement noted that the “elders did not have all the facts of the inappropriate relationship between Morris and the victim, including her age at the time and the length of the abuse.”

We are heartbroken and appalled by what has come to light over the past few days, and we express our deep sympathy to the victim and her family. It is our prayer that, in time, healing for all those affected can occur.”

This news comes right after Morris stepped away from his position as overseer at Church of the Highlands.

Pastor Robert Morris is stepping away as overseer at Church of the Highlands in Alabama.

In a statement obtained by The Roys Report, the Alabama megachurch said they did not know about Morris’ alleged sexual indiscretions.

Wade Burleson shared the megachurch’s statement with The Roys Report, which read:

After being made aware of the disturbing media reports, Highlands trustees and overseers immediately initiated a due diligence process that included reaching out to Gateway’s elders. Before the scheduled follow-up meeting to determine changes in our governance structure, Pastor Morris resigned as an overseer of Church of the Highlands.”

Morris’ resignation follows his admission of “moral failure” after “inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady.”

Cindy Clemishire, who has accused Morris of sexually abusing her from 1982 until 1987, says the assault began when she was only 12 years old.

Morris says he confessed and repented of his sins.

In March of 1987, this situation was brought to light, and it was confessed and repented. I submitted myself to the Elders of Shady Grove Church and the young lady’s father. They asked me to step out of ministry and receive counseling and freedom ministry, which I did. Since that time, I have walked in purity and accountability in this area. Two years later, in March of 1989, I stepped back into ministry with the full blessing of the elders and her father. In October of 1989, Debbie and I met with her and her family, and I asked their forgiveness, and they graciously forgave me.”

Clemishire, however, denies that Morris received a blessing from her father to return to the pulpit. Clemishire told the Christian Post:

I am mortified that he is telling the world my dad gave his blessing. Of course, we forgive because we are called to biblically forgive those who sin against us. But that does not mean he is supposed to go on without repercussions.”

Marzulli says that hybrids, because they are only partial humans, are soulless.

“They’re soulless. They’re not human. They’re part human but they’re soulless. Only God can give you a soul and they’re looking for a soul,” Marzulli says.

This is evidenced by the fact that those who claim to have been abducted by “aliens” usually mention the fact that those entities are looking for a soul. What is unique about this take is how the number of supposed sightings of these beings increased during the 1990s.

“People started seeing hybrid entities,” Marzulli says. “They look more alien than they did human.”

Marzulli believes this is part of the fulfillment of prophecy found in Daniel 2:43, which talks about the mingling of the seed of men with something foreign but that they would “not cleave to one another,” or in other words, they would not marry each other, but would have hybrid children.

Even with the reality of dark entities, spiritual powers and principalities, the Lord has a plan and a purpose much greater and powerful than any forces of the enemy.

Today marks the anniversary of the Brownsville Revival which captivated hearts and minds as the Holy Spirit was poured out and miracles, signs and wonders were seen in action. Here are five things you need to know about this event which became a bedrock event in the Charismatic Movement.

• The Brownsville Revival began on Father’s Day, June 18, 1995, in Pensacola, Florida.

This Father’s Day service at Brownsville Church ended up being no ordinary day as visiting guest evangelist Steve Hill shared his powerful testimony of encountering the Holy Spirit.

As the Brownsville Church site says, “Soon, Hill invited attendees for prayer, but Father God revealed a different agenda. As members surged forward, God intervened to pour out His Spirit in an amazing visitation that continues today.”

Charisma News discussed how this one service ignited an unprecedented hunger for the Lord that could not be quenched, with revival lasting for five years.

• Revival to America was prophesied about two years prior to the beginning of the Brownsville Revival.

According to the Brownsville Church, a pastor all the way in Seoul, South Korea, had been seeking the Lord about revival for the United States.

Dr. David Yonggi Cho felt the Lord ask him to look at a map of where coming revival was heading. He was drawn to the panhandle of Florida when the Holy Spirit spoke to him and said, “I am going to send revival to the seaside city of Pensacola, and it will spread like a fire until all of America has been consumed by it.”

This word was not only accurate, but the move of God at the Brownsville Revival has gone down in history as one of the greatest modern day moves of God of our day and age.

• The number of people attending the revival grew rapidly.

Journalist Renee DeLoriea told Charisma Media that within just a few months, the Holy Spirit had done a fantastic work of bringing in people from everywhere to experience what God has for them. The line to get in the door of the revival was about three blocks long.

“I’m not saying that I knew it was going to be people lined up out the door in a couple of months,” DeLoriea says. “It was not about numbers; it was about influence in the church and in the world.”

• Brownsville’s pastor, John Kilpatrick, felt the physical presence of God when revival first broke out.

Kilpatrick was amazed as he saw how his congregants responded to Hill’s message. Suddenly, Kilpatrick felt and heard the physical manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the room.

Charisma magazine noted that:

“The air moved about his legs like a river of water, making it difficult to move. He then heard a sound coming from somewhere in the room. It rumbled and roared like wind being blown across a microphone. He looked up toward the speakers clustered above his head, but the sound wasn’t coming from there. It was coming from behind him.”

Just as the rushing wind of the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples in the upper room on Pentecost, the Spirit made His entry into the Brownsville Revival in a similar manner.

• The message that kicked off the revival came from Psalm 77.

The message that Steve Hill preached about came from Psalm 77, verse 11. This verse reads, “I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wonders of old.”

What an excellent verse to kick off a revival, one that directly describes the remembrance of the Lord’s works. Because of the works of the Lord that broke out during the Brownsville Revival, lives were changed, hearts were healed and the message of the gospel is still going out this very day.

What do believers do when they have a supernatural experience that others cannot connect with?

Jennifer Bagnaschi of the Deep Believer YouTube channel has been inspiring people to tell their testimonies of faith and supernatural encounters with God. But Bagnaschi herself has an incredible testimony of how she saw God’s divinity in an incredible experience.

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, Bagnaschi says she has seen the power of God throughout her life. After growing up in a church where miracles and deliverance were the norm, Bagnaschi knew that these kinds of occurrences were real. However, after moving from Pennsylvania to Connecticut, Bagnaschi says she realized that there are plenty of “unbelieving believers” when it comes to supernatural phenomena and the gifts of the Spirit.

“I realized that there were a lot of unbelieving believers. And when I would tell people of my supernatural experiences, how I would see angels, how I left my body, and you know how I came back and I saw Jesus…Christians won’t believe me. But the non-believers would,” Bagnaschi says.

Bagnaschi says this deficit of faith in the Christian community comes from putting more of our trust in ministers than in what the Word of God says. In her own experience, Bagnaschi desired to have a supernatural encounter with the Lord, praying that she would have this opportunity to see heaven. As she began to lose hope after a year of praying for this kind of experience, Bagnaschi says God gave her insight into the miraculous.

“I’m laying in bed. Next thing I know, I sit out of my body,” Bagnaschi says. “It just felt like I just left a thin sheet of something [and] sat up out of my body. It was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had.”

Bagnaschi says that while many have wondered if this was like a dream, she says it differs in that she had her right sense of mind and that everything she heard and smelled was heightened. Bagnaschi says that after God placed her back into her body, she still encountered the Lord through a vision.

“Next thing I know I’m taken in a vision where it’s a bright white room,” Bagnaschi says. “And there’s Jesus smiling at me.”

Bagnaschi’s incredible testimony of seeing God’s divine glory isn’t just for a few of us to know and believe, but rather the intimate presence she experienced with the Lord is at the heart of His desire for each of us: to know Him and be with Him for all eternity.

Cahn says that throughout the process of writing “The Dragon’s Prophecy,” he’s encountered attack after attack from the enemy. In fact, the attacks he has specifically faced have been taken straight out of his own book and used against him.

First, Cahn found himself writing about how the enemy comes in like a flood. After spending time talking about this tactic of the devil, his very own church building experienced a flood.

“Our building becomes an island. Finally, the flood subsides. Right after it subsides, a second flood comes, cuts off the street, comes up to the building…a few days later a third flood comes,” Cahn says.

These attacks against Cahn and his church come at a time when his book is skyrocketing charts, months even before its release.

Cindy Clemishire claims megachurch Pastor Robert Morris began sexually abusing her when she was 12 years old.

The Wartburg Watch first reported the alleged abuse where Clemishire says she was only 12 when the abuse began. She claims that it lasted for four-and-a-half years afterward.

Clemishire says the alleged abuse began on Christmas Day in 1982. She says Morris asked her to come into his room that night as the Morris family was spending time with hers for a visit. It was then that Clemishire alleges that Morris began inappropriately touching her and did so until March of 1987.

Clemishire says she discussed the abuse with a friend who told her she needed to tell her parents about the situation. Clemishire’s father reported Morris to the lead pastor of Shady Grove Church. The Wartburg Watch states:

“He demanded that Morris get out of ministry, or he would call the sheriff. Morris reportedly stepped down from ministry for two years.”

In an interview with WFAA, Clemishire says that her story “is gut wrenching when I read it on paper, and I’ve been sharing for years. So, it just happens to be God’s time I think for it to come to light.”

Clemishire says that her family forgave Morris for his actions, but that they never gave him a blessing to return to ministry, something Morris claims that he received from her family.

In a statement to the Christian Post, Clemishire said:

“My father never ever gave his blessing on Robert returning to ministry. My father told him he’s lucky he didn’t kill him. I am mortified that he is telling the world my dad gave his blessing. Of course, we forgive because we are called to biblically forgive those who sin against us. But that does not mean he is supposed to go on without repercussions.”
