Pastor Jack Hibbs is encouraging believers to join him and the governor of Tennessee for a month of prayer and fasting this July.

“Every day for the next 30 days I’m inviting you for you and I to join in with the request, the proclamation of Tennessee’s governor, Bill Lee, who has decided as with his government and with his state to seek the Lord for mercy and for healing,” Hibbs says.

Hibbs believes this can be a critical time for all to seek the Lord’s face as God leads each member of the body of Christ.

Since joining in this time of prayer and fasting that began yesterday, Hibbs says he’s spoken to four different media outlets about why he is joining in this movement.

“I’m telling them it’s all about the challenge by the governor of Tennessee,” Hibbs says.

This decision to join the Volunteer State in prayer and fasting serves as a bigger purpose to pray for our nation during this time.

The letter that went along with the bill declaring this to be a time of prayer and fasting encouraged, “those who are physically able and spiritually inclined to do so to join in a 30-day season of prayer and intermittent fasting for the month of July as a means of humbling ourselves to receive God’s grace, mercy and blessing in Tennessee and in our nation.”

As we near Independence Day, what better opportunity to jump into a time of prayer on behalf of America?

At least 60 people have died and many more were injured after a stampede at a religious event.

According to ABC News, over 150 people were taken to hospitals in Northern India after the catastrophe happened. Currently, CNN is reporting that local police have confirmed an additional 27 dead to this growing number.

This stampede happened while the people were attempting to leave after the event ended. The event was held in a tent with Hindu leader, Bhole Baba. However, the tent collapsed.

The rush to pray to and hear from false gods has been an unfortunate cause of death for many people in this area of the world. Instead of being killed for seeking out a false god that can never fill them, we should be praying for the gospel to be preached and eyes to be opened to the truth of who Jesus is in places that have been steeped in the worship of idolatry.

In a new study, it was discovered that there are seven stars in the galaxy which have a bizarre structure surrounding them, which have been dubbed as ‘Dyson spheres.’

This discovery has caused even secular outlets like NBC and Business Insider to question if these Dyson spheres are actually structures created by intelligent life outside of human beings.

The name Dyson sphere comes from the physicist, Freeman Dyson, who first came up with the idea of this possibility in in 1960. However, this theoretical structure appears to no longer simply be theoretical, but may have actual evidence supporting its potential.

“Researchers say they found seven sources glowing in the infrared,” NBC says, “but couldn’t find an obvious explanation for why these sources are glowing so much, which could mean they’re Dyson spheres.”

Business Insider notes that these strange sightings on the infrared technology could also be explained by clouds of dust surrounding the stars.

So, the question is, are these unusual infrared emissions coming off of these seven stars really part some type of alien doing, a natural phenomenon or could they potentially point to something we see in Scripture?

One of the descriptions of Jesus found in Revelation 1 says, “His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters. He had in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword. His appearance was like the sun shining brightly,” (v. 15-16).

These seven stars shining brightly could perhaps give us some insight, a foreshadowing or imagery, of Christ’s glorious brilliance of how all things belong under His power and authority. His Word and ultimate authority is “alive and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intents of the heart,” (Hebrews 4:12). Any Word Jesus speaks, any command He gives, is greater than anything else.

We might not have all the answers for why these seven stars are glowing brightly, but we can look back to the Word of God and see that Jesus has ultimate control over all power and dominion because it was through His Word that all things came into existence.

What is the key to hearing the Lord’s voice?

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, author Chris Garcia shared what he believes the missing key is for a lot of believers in their walk with the Lord.

“What marked Jesus’ ministry as a powerful ministry, yes, He cast out all devils, He healed the sick, He raised the dead. But there was relationship between Jesus’ prayer life and the power of the Spirit and activation so much so that the disciples were like, ‘Master, teach us to pray.’ They saw a relationship between His alone time with the Father ad His public ministry of power,” Garcia says.

It is this private time alone with the Father that many people ignore. While we all need community with other people, especially with other believers, we cannot push our personal relationship with the heavenly Father to the side. Instead, it has to be the main focus of our lives, the greatest ministry that we have.

“The person of God, the man or woman of God is called to be with the Lord,” Garcia says. “Unfortunately, we’ve deduced prayer to a list of things that we have to do. Or we’ve deduced it to a chore…it’s more important that we have God’s attention and that He has our attention and that we are with Jesus, we are with the Lord.”

Garcia says one of the problems that we have with prayer and its perception today is that our Western society has made it all about a formula instead of entering into a deep and meaningful time of communion with the Lord.

“True community is found in the communion of Christ first,” Garcia says.

For many people, their relationship with the Lord can sometimes even feel a bit awkward because He is still a relative stranger to them.

“I think a lot of people are uncomfortable with being with the Lord because that level of knowing Him hasn’t fully yet developed,” Garcia says. “The more you pursue knowing Him, those moments of awkwardness go away.”

The greatest thing we can do to strengthen our relationship with the Lord, to know His voice better each day, is simply to spend time in His presence. Just as it takes time to get to know a person by spending time in their presence, the same is true for our relationship with the Lord.

“The more you learn to acknowledge the presence of God throughout your day, the more it becomes natural to slip into a deeper prayer walk,” Garcia says.

God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and one of the biggest parts of that plan is for us to know Him deeply. The more we get to know the Lord the more our lives will be shaped be His character and fruit. By spending more time with Him, we will see the kind of harvest He wants to produce in our lives.

“New wine is received and sustained by a new wineskin,” Garcia says. “And that new wineskin is the renovation of the mind, to renew in the Spirit of your mind, that is enabling you to sustain what God wants to do.”

By spending more time in communion with the Lord, we can fully see what kinds of things He wants to do in our lives.

“Many times, God wants to do something new and vibrant in our life. But we can miss out on it with an old mentality. It kind of reminds me of in Isaiah where it says, ‘Behold, I will do a new thing, shall you not perceive it.’ And so, in order for us to receive the new and sustain the new and maintain in the new, we’ve got to allow the new thing to renovate us,” Garcia says.

If you’re seeking to hear from the Lord, to know the direction He wants you to take, the greatest thing you can do is spend time in prayer. From there, you will see how life changes as God places you on His good, eternal path.

Another monolith has appeared on a dairy farm in Colorado.

In Bellvue, Colorado, Howling Cow Café and Morning Fresh Dairy Farm owner Lori Graves has been adapting to one of the wildest additions in town: a mysterious monolith discovered on her property.

Speaking with local outlet, KDVR, Graves says, “It was Sunday morning…when someone came into the café and said, ‘Where is the monolith? Where is the alien monolith?’”

On the Howling Cow Café Instagram page, images of the structure showcase its massive size.

“This just landed @Howling Cow Café,” the post reads. “‘What might this be?’ is the question of the week here at the café as many come in to ask about this mysterious structure. A monolith, sculpture, local artist or aliens…we don’t know?!”

The monolith stands high, erected on top of a hill and can be seen from far away. USA TODAY shared that the monolith is about 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide.

This comes as the National UFO Reporting Center reported possible sightings at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver, Colorado.

As The Blaze reported, 12 employees there say they were cleaning up the grounds following a concert by country artist Ian Munsick when they “spotted a dark metallic disk appear in the sky.”

While we don’t have one explanation for these two strange Colorado occurrences, what we can know is that Jesus is still well and alive, and He is not a God of confusion, but of a sound mind. Therefore, let’s not become confused or deceived by anything we see happening in the world around us. Instead, let’s stick close to the Word of God.

Elders from Gateway Church and Robert Morris’ son, James Morris, have taken leaves of absence.

On a statement on Gateway’s website, the church noted that this decision came from a recommendation by the law firm they are working with to investigate into the sexual abuse of Cindy Clemishire by Robert Morris, which he has previously admitted to in part.

Thank you for your grace, prayers, and support for all members of our Gateway Church family in recent days,” the statement began. “The Gateway Board of Elders is committed to leading with integrity and humility as we navigate this difficult season together.” “As Haynes and Boone begins their work,” it continues, “they have recommended that any Gateway Church Elder with a potential conflict of interest take a temporary leave of absence from the Board of Elders. This includes any Elder with a relational conflict and those Elders who were on the Board from 2005-2007. Haynes and Boone made this recommendation consistent with best practices for inquires of this nature. A leave of absence in no way whatsoever assumes or implies that any Elder had any knowledge of the true facts related to this situation.”

There are three elders who fall into this category. Kevin Grove, Steve Dulin and Gayland Lawshe have voluntarily stepped aside during this time from their roles with the Board of Elders. Gateway makes it clear that “they had no knowledge of the true facts of this situation.”

“In addition, Haynes and Boone has recommended that Pastor James Morris also take a temporary leave of absence from the Gateway Board of Elders,” the statement reads.

It states that James Morris was not an elder during the 2005–2007 timeframe, and did not know the truth surrounding the situation. However, because he is related to Robert Morris, it is seen as the best option for the Pastor James to temporarily step aside from the Board of Elders.

We are grateful to these four Elders for their leadership, their service on the Board, and for their commitment to honoring God and doing what is best for Gateway Church. During this temporary leave of absence, these four Elders will continue their important work as valued staff members at Gateway Church.”

This statement comes as Robert Morris’ son-in-law, Ethan Fisher, shared with the Christian Post what a horrific week their family has experienced as the allegations against Morris came to light.

“It’s been a nightmare week,” Fisher says. “What we’ve had to process and what we’ve had to go through. But we know that we will get the help.”

Fisher is the senior pastor of the Gateway Church site in Houston. The Christian Post noted that after resigning, Robert Morris was removed from being an apostolic overseeing elder at the Houston location.

The folklore of Mothman began when gravediggers believed they encountered a strange human-like creature in the 1960s in West Virginia.

The creature, as Southern Living notes, was supposedly seen just a few days later by two couples with red eyes that chased them. The sightings of Mothman were reported to have continued during the following year.

Now, this paranormal activity is being promoted to children by Build-A-Bear.

In these perilous moments, this is the time to pray for protection and for guidance by the Holy Spirit for future generations.

After last night’s poor debate performance by Joe Biden, many were concerned for the well-being of the president. However, Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom took to Biden’s defense.

“What we saw tonight is the president making a very clear contrast with Donald Trump on all the issues that matter to the American people,” Harris told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “Yes, there was a slow start, but it was a strong finish. And what became very clear through the course of the night is that Joe Biden is fighting on behalf of the American people, on substance, on policy, on performance.”

Harris, however, isn’t the only one from the Left who came to the president’s defense.

In an interview with MSNBC, California Gov. Gavin Newsom also said that this is not the moment for democrats to turn their backs on Biden.

“We’ve got to go in, we’ve got to keep our heads high,” Newsom said. “You don’t turn your back because of one performance. What kind of party does that?”

However, despite support from Harris and Newsom, Biden himself admitted that his debate skills were lacking.

“Folks, I don’t walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to. But I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth,” Biden said during a rally on Friday.

As this election season is turning out to be one for the record books, let’s continue to pray and press in to the Lord no matter what we hear from politicians or the media.

For those who have been following the recent breakout of scandal surrounding Robert Morris of Gateway Church, here are a couple of updates worth noting.

In a document obtained by NBC News, a believed audio transcript from a phone call in 2005 between Morris and Clemishire discussed the price it would cost for Clemishire to stay quiet about the situation. The document was given to NBC by a previous staff member of Gateway Church.

“Put a price on it,” the document records Morris saying.

“It is not a small number,” Clemishire responds. “Money doesn’t make you happy and I can understand that. So that is not what this is about.”

After being asked again, Clemishire responded by saying, “Two million dollars.”

The discovery of this transcript comes after leaked emails from the same time frame between Morris and Clemishire were reported on.

“Twenty-three years after you began destroying my life, I am still dealing with the pain and damage you caused,” Clemishire wrote in the email as noted by NBC. “I want some type of restitution. Pray about it and call me.”

In Morris’ reply, he noted that he and his wife, Debbie, “really do care for you and we sincerely want God’s best for you.” He also believed that he had already received her and her family’s forgiveness.

“My attorney advises that if I pay you any money under a threat of exposure, you could be criminally prosecuted and Debbie and I do not want that,” Morris continued.

In a new interview with CBN News, Clemishire says that what she experienced also included emotional and mental abuse. She also says she has shared her story for years, but that it was often not taken seriously.

“Anytime he would speak in a church that we were associated with or going to in any way, either I would or my parents or my sister would go and confront leadership and talk to them and explain to them what happened to our family,” Clemishire says. “Not once has any leadership stood up and said ‘This isn’t biblical. You shouldn’t be in leadership. Honestly, you should be gracious to this family that you’re not in prison.’ But no one has taken him out of leadership.”

Just days ago, Life Today founder, James Robison, also came out in a public statement, refuting discussions that he met with Clemishire and Morris.

“People have been asking questions about my relationship with Robert,” Robison said in a video on X. “I’d like to set the record straight because some people are claiming that I was present when Robert met with the victim’s family in 1987, that I knew the girl’s age when these events took place. This is false. It is not so. It is in fact a lie. The victim herself corrected the record after the initial news report came out.”

After the beginning of this year came with lots of twists and turns, you may be wondering what’s going to happen in the next half.

Pastor Mike Signorelli is sharing the latest prophetic word of what God has placed on his heart for what’s coming from July through January.

“We are in a time of turmoil. We are in a time of the refiner’s fire. We are in a time of adversity. We are in a time of the Judas kiss. We are in the time of backstabbing and betrayal. We are in the time of gossip and accusation,” Signorelli says.

Signorelli notes that this is the moment when many people may be feeling lonely and rejected. However, what has happened is because the Lord is putting His people through a refining fire to make them holy and righteous.

“The Lord says, ‘it’s a refiner’s fire.’ They rejected you so that you would come closer to me. They did not accept you because they don’t understand what’s inside of you.’”

Signorelli says God is eliminating the influence of different voices and people from the lives of His chosen ones so that the Lord and the Lord alone can become the greatest voice in the lives of His sheep.

“He’ll remove you from circles so that you sound like Him and you don’t sound like them,” Signorelli says.

It is through the fire that the Lord will take out anything that is not of Him inside of His people.

“This refiner’s fire is also the Lord’s way of bringing the last bit of impurities out of you. What does that mean? It means that He’s getting ready to debut you in 2025. But in order to debut you, He has to finish a longstanding process and that’s all right,” Signorelli says.

The confusion, anxiety, depression and feeling that your life is over is just a part of the feelings that will actually pass away as God continues to do a brand-new work inside of you. Transformation is a process, and God has to bring the work He started into completion, just as His Word promises.

In order to finish out this refining process that is coming, Signorelli encourages believer to start praying in tongues more often to push back the flesh.

“You’ve got to begin to speak in the spirit. You have to prophesy. You have to begin to speak in tongues for edification because only your spirit man can collaborate with the Holy Spirit,” Signorelli says.

He also warns that what God is going to want you to do next is something your soul and flesh do not agree with.

“Two-thirds of your being is going to resist what God wants to do. Only your spirit is willing,” says Signorelli.

This is why praying in tongues during this time is so critical. Signorelli prophesies that the rest of June, July, August and September will especially be times of turmoil and adversity.

“You’ll hear about wars and rumors of wars,” Signorelli says. “You’re going to hear about layoffs on your job, in the workplace, yes, it’s going to seem as if the prices increase and the buying power decreases, but again, this has to come to pass.”

As the growing process for believers continues to unfold, God is asking His people to embrace the transitional season.

“The Lord says ‘you’re not who you used to be, but you’re not who you’re going to be. But celebrate the transition,’” Signorelli prophesies. “I’m bringing you to maturity. Things that used to bother you aren’t going to bother you anymore. Things that used to affect you aren’t going to affect you anymore.”

While this transitional season is painful, Signorelli says it’s all a set up for 2025 and what is to follow.

“I’ve got to rewire your mind to be able to sustain the thing that I’ve called you to. I’ve got to rewire your heart so that it’s unoffendable,” Signorelli prophesies.

This is to maintain the high calling that the Lord has placed on His true followers.

“The Lord says, ‘I’m taking you into a time where you will get up there and you will stay up there,’” Signorelli says.

After this transitionary period, Signorelli says that those who trust fully in the Lord will indeed experience great peace and for many years.

“What I’m about to bring you into in 2025 will be a multi-year peace. The Lord says ‘you will have peace as your portion for multiple years,’” Signorelli says.

No matter what you may be facing right now, cling to the Lord as He will guide you, protect you, and keep you in all circumstances.
