Benny Hinn is urging viewers to give financially for God’s protection in the coming darkness.

In a recent message entitled, “Shameless Begging,” Pastor Benny Hinn discussed what he believes it means to reach out to the Lord in sincere and earnest prayer, much like David did in the Psalms. As he concluded the message, he also encouraged viewers to sow financially in preparation for the dark days ahead.

“We are facing days of such darkness and such danger unseen in the history of man,” Hinn says. “Unseen since Adam. Worse than anything that has happened in the past…and only those who’ve been faithful in giving to God’s work will be protected financially.”

Hinn says it is a faithful person who will reap God’s blessings.

“Any farmer will tell you that you can’t lose your seed because seed goes into your tomorrow. Seed goes into your future. Seed produces a harvest that has seed in it. You can’t lose a seed. You can lose money, but not a seed,” says Hinn.

Hinn further says it is God who uses seed to produce multiplication, ending the message with a plug for his ministry.

Mike Winger, who created a four-hour long documentary on Benny Hinn in relation to the prosperity gospel movement, shared the clip and commented on this message by Hinn.

“Do me a favor and share this information with others because we need to keep people in the body of Christ from being duped and lied to,” Winger says.

Recently, Winger spoke with Costi Hinn, Benny Hinn’s nephew, on “Cultish.” Costi, who has disassociated with Hinn, believes that Hinn’s recent repentance for past ministry mistakes is merely for publicity.

In an interview on the Strang Report podcast, Hinn admitted that the two areas he made mistakes in were prophecy and prosperity.

“I was not too wise a number of times with prophecy…and then the other one is prosperity. And that’s been a very difficult one for me,” Hinn says.

Winger also spoke with Charisma Media where he discussed Hinn and the prosperity gospel.

“The idea of giving sacrificially is not to get in return but is because it’s more blessed to give than to receive,” Winger says. “The New Testament…prepares us for poverty. It prepares us to be poor. It tells those who are poor not to worry about it. It tells those who are rich not to take pride in it, but to be humbled knowing that their ultimate riches are in heaven.”

A megachurch has had to place all operations on hold because past sexual abuse allegations have made them ineligible for insurance renewal.

The Meeting House in Toronto is one of the largest megachurches in Canada. However, they have been unable to find an insurance company willing to take them on because of the past indiscretions that have happened at the church.

As the Christian Post reported, a previous pastor for The Meeting house, Bruxy Cavey, resigned after allegations of sexual misconduct over two years ago. However, the church’s liability insurance decided to drop them when time for renewal came up.

In an email to The Meeting House’s congregants, the church said:

“Our current insurer has advised us that they will not be renewing our Abuse Liability (AL) and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) coverage as of June 30, 2024. All other insurance that we require is available for renewal.

After an exhaustive search, most other insurers have declined to offer us this coverage. We have requested a short term extension from our current insurer, and are actively pursuing a few remaining potential leads for AL and EPL insurance coverage, but cannot guarantee we will secure replacement coverage before June 30,” the email read.

The church noted in their email that these past incidents have negatively affected how insurance companies are viewing them.

“The historical incidents and allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse at The Meeting House continue to impact our church today in many ways, including how we are viewed by insurers.”

The church assured its congregants that they have worked hard to “address systemic risk, help prevent abuse, and create a safe environment for staff, volunteers, and congregants.” However, this has not changed how insurers perceive the church.

The Board of Elders at Gateway Church and the Overseers of Pastor Robert Morris Ministries have decided to shut down all further radio and television broadcasting programs in the wake of the child sexual abuse case involving Morris and Cindy Clemishire.

In a statement on , the elders and the overseers of the ministry made the announcement, stating:

“On Tuesday, June 18, Gateway Church accepted the resignation of Robert Morris. He has stepped away from leading the church and all related ministries, including Pastor Robert Morris Ministries.

“The elders of Gateway Church learned that Pastor Robert’s moral failure from more than forty years ago involved a minor. We are heartbroken and grief-stricken for this woman what has carried this burden of abuse for decades.”

The ministry makes it clear that because of Morris’ sin, he has been disqualified from serving as the pastor of Gateway Church.

“Pastor Robert’s sin and his lack of transparency to the church’s elders and leadership has disqualified him from continuing in his role as senior pastor at Gateway Church and as leader of Pastor Robert Morris Ministries. As a result, all future radio and television broadcast ministry from Pastor Robert Morris Ministries has been cancelled.”

The leaders further thanked God for how He has used both Gateway Church and Pastor Robert Morris Ministries for ministering to people around the world, bringing the masses to Christ. It further documents how the Lord is still in charge, even in these shaking, tumultuous times.

The statement finally closes with the priestly blessing from Numbers 6:24-26 to be with all of those who have supported this ministry over the years.

Continue to lift up all those affected by these devastating circumstances to experience God’s peace in the middle of the storm.

Smith’s unexpected song comes after a video earlier this year surfaced of Smith discussing how no amount of money or possessions in the world can completely fill someone up.

“You just realize none of it can make you happy. Once you’ve bought everything you want and there’s literally nothing on earth else that you want to buy, you know I just wish that was a gift that everybody could have because there’s nothing that material can do to satisfy you. It’s like drinking salt water,” Smith says.

During this time, pray for Smith and his family.  As his eyes are opened to the truth of about the lack of fulfillment that materialism offers, pray that Smith would be receptive and open to the truth of the gospel.

What does Iran have to do with a dragon and blasphemy?

In a new prophetic message, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn discussed what the nation of Iran has to do with blasphemy and a mystery surrounding the entity of the dragon.

Discussing the angel Michael and his spiritual fight against the “sar paras,” Cahn says the evil entity of the “sar paras” actually refers to both Iran and the dragon.

“In the vision of the prophecy of Revelation 12 it is written, ‘and war broke out in heaven,’” Cahn says. “The one who wars against the sar paras, Michael, is now warring against the dragon and his angels. So, he wars against the sar paras, and the dragon. You see, the dragon and the sar paras, the ruler of Iran, are on the same side, and the dragon is Satan.”

Cahn further points out that the “sar paras,” is indeed an angel of the dragon, an accomplice of darkness. It is the dragon who is the ultimate enemy against Israel.

“Any of you who hate Israel, you have no idea, but by doing so, you are allying yourself with the dragon, who is the enemy, who is Satan and against God. And the dragon will not only seek to destroy Israel, he will destroy all those who even fight for him,” Cahn says.

Cahn urges viewers not to align themselves with the dragon because it ultimately positioning yourself to war against God. He says how the end of Raisi came after he positioned himself to threaten the people of Israel on the first day of Passover, much like Pharaoh did. It is not a light thing to declare destruction over the Lord’s people, and He will act appropriately with all justice and righteousness.

“To threaten to destroy the nation of God, which is eternal, to bring God nation to an end, to threaten that is to defy the Most High. It is blasphemy,” Cahn says.

In fact, Cahn warns that those who commit blasphemy against the Lord are put to death as according to the Law of God. This applies to both those born Jewish and non-Jewish alike.

“As he has done, so it shall be done to him,” Cahn says.

Through the event of Raisi’s death, it’s timing and relation to the Scriptures, Cahn believes we can see how the Bible is real and true in its fullness.

On a podcast with the Shawn Ryan Show, Carlson pointed out that the depth and amount of discussion about spiritual forces today is much more than it was just five years ago.

“All of a sudden in the last few years, just random, sort of normal secular American people are like, ‘you know, I was praying about that,’ or ‘I think God’s doing this,’” Carlson says. “There’s something going on, and of course, that’s the way God works…clearly, we’re under oppression of evil. Not just the Biden administration, which is just a manifestation of it, but there’s something way bigger trying to hurt people for the sake of hurting people.”

Carlson says that Christians are the ones who are not surprised by the chaos happening in our world today. On the contrary, it is Christians who are less shocked about the direction that America is currently heading toward.

Carlson further says that while many of the rich and famous in America may be opposed to Christianity, he believes it is Christians who truly can decipher what is happening in the world around us.

“What I didn’t know was that they’re only wise people. They’re the only ones who know what’s up, and that they’re just like way smarter than everybody,” says Carlson.

As we celebrate our freedom in America, let’s also cling tight to the truth of the Gospel as our nation continues to battle with spiritual darkness. Pray for revival and for the Holy Spirit to overflow all across the United States.

As Americans and as Christians, both our faith and the country we live in affects how we see the world. In one of his latest messages, Pastor Troy Brewer explained why it is critical for us today to stand tall for our nation and for the kingdom of God.

“I want to tell you, it’s really important to stand with your people. It’s one of the ways that we bring the Kingdom. I really do believe that,” Brewer says. “The Lord has placed me in a certain place at a certain time and I need to do my part to make sure that everything around me looks a little bit more like heaven than it looks like hell.”

One of the keys to understand about America’s founding is that Scripture has been weaved through some of the most monumental moments of our history.

Brewer notes that Leviticus 25:10 is inscribed on the Liberty Bell, which reads, “…proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all the inhabitants.”

“The reason it’s called the Liberty Bell is simply because of Leviticus 25:10,” Brewer says. “All of that [is] making a prophetic declaration and sending out a sound of Liberty.”

Brewer notes that this prophetic act of putting a Scripture dedicated to freedom on the Liberty Bell isn’t just about the demonstration itself, but the location where it happened.

“It happened in a place called Philadelphia,” Brewer says. “You know about the church of Philadelphia, right? He says, ‘Behold, I set before you an open door that no man can shut.’”

This refers to Revelation 3:7-8 which says, “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens, says these things: I know your works. Look! I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it. For you have a little strength, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”  

It is the Church of Philadelphia to whom the Lord acknowledges here for stewarding their faith. And so, it is also the name of the place where liberty was proclaimed for our entire nation.

However, that does not mean that signing the Declaration of Independence was an easy task. In fact, some of the best things worth doing can be incredibly difficult.

“The Declaration of Independence was the birth certificate of our great nation, but it was also a death warrant when they signed it,” Brewer says. “It was a solemn, holy moment that when they put their signatures on that piece of paper they knew, ‘man, my life will never ever ever be the same again.’”

As we remember the courage it took these brave men to sign the Declaration of Independence, let’s remember the symbolic message as well that God was with our nation at its conception, making it an open door for many to come and find freedom.

Independence Day is a time of remembering and reflecting upon the bravery of the American colonists as they stood up to the British, signifying that their time of bondage was over. However, one of the things we often forget is that the colonists were already in a time of war, they were already feeling the effects of sin and the grave, and the were finally ready to take off those chains.

In a special message, prophetic voice and New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Cahn described how the liberty the colonists desired is similar to the kind of freedom that we too want for our lives today.

“We also become joined to things that are not good,” Cahn says. “Entangled, dependent, bound and the Scripture says, ‘cast off that sin that so easily entangles you.’”

While we would like to think that most people are good, that’s just not the case. Every single one of us is born a slave to sin. We all need freedom from the things that hold us back and try to take away God’s place as first in our lives.

“They realized the price, the cost, and came to the point of saying, ‘the cost of being with Britain is not worth it. The price is not worth it. The tax is not worth it.’ So with sin, with bondage, with habit. If you would be free of that thing or that unhealthy thing or whatever that thing is you have to come to the point where you realize it’s not worth it. The cost of that sin in your life is not worth it,” Cahn says.

Cahn points out that until we completely despise the sin, the toxic thing in our life, we will never be free from it. In the same way, the colonists knew that until they were free from British influence, they would never truly be free.

“To declare freedom is treason to the forces of tyranny. To the forces of the enemy, it’s treason,” Cahn says.

In order to find freedom, it means taking a risk. To get out of bondage means to stand up to the thing that has been holding you down.

“They came to that absolute point of saying, ‘no matter what, we’re out of the old. No matter what, we’re out of that bondage,’” Cahn says.

As we reflect on the great independence that America declared and fought for so long ago, take the moment to thank the Lord that where His Spirit is there is the ultimate liberty, that we can find hope and rest in Him.

The megachurch televangelist has sparked some controversy on social media.

The pastor posted on X, “It’s the simple things in life that bring us the most joy. You may not have a lot of resources, but if you have family, you’re blessed. If you have your health, you’re blessed. If you can look up at the stars at night, you’re blessed.”

However, not all people found his statement on the “simple things” to be sincere. As The Daily Mail shared, many people did not take this post well.

“Joel Osteen, worth $100 million, living in multiple mansions, and owning multiple yachts wants you to know that money won’t bring you joy—but he still wants you send him all of the money you can,” one commentator wrote.

Newsweek also documented some of the post replies that were less-than-friendly to the megachurch minister.

“Joel Osteen worships money. Greedy, self-serving liar,” one post read.

“You donating your salary then?” another read.

These statements come after Osteen announced in January that Lakewood Church finally paid off their $100 million loan which they had worked on paying off for 20 years.

“I look back over these 19 years, and there have been great years. I mean, Lakewood has been a lighthouse to the whole world,” Osteen said.

Osteen also celebrated his latest milestone of the 1,000 sermon he’s preached since stepping into the role in 1999 after his father died.

One of the most important updates in the Donald Trump sentencing delay has just come to light.

The New York Times reported that “Manhattan prosecutors on Tuesday agreed with Donald J. Trump’s request to postpone his criminal sentencing.”

This decision comes as a way for the judge, Juan M. Merchan, to determine if the recent Supreme Court decision “might imperil his conviction.”

The sentencing for the hush money case is likely to be delayed as the Supreme Court cleared Trump for immunity involving actions done during his presidency for the case revolving around Jan. 6.

As ABC News reported, a letter from assistant district attorney Josh Steinglass to Merchan notes that, “Although we believe defendant’s arguments to be without merit, we do not oppose his request for leave to file and his putative request to adjourn sentencing pending determination of his motion.”

Prosecutors are willing to work with a two week delay for filing a response of Trump’s motions, per Newsweek reports.

The defense for Trump, Todd Blanche wrote: “The verdicts in this case violate the presidential immunity doctrine and create grave risks of an Executive Branch that cannibalizes itself.”

Back in May, the former president was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records as it pertained to hush money from 2016 involving adult film actress, Stormy Daniels.
