Why Are Women Flocking to AI-Generated Boyfriends?
Perhaps one of the scariest parts of artificial intelligence is how it is being used as a substitute for true, human companionship.
In a new report by Axios, it was revealed how women in particularly are being drawn to using ‘companion apps’ to seek out love and connection.
According to Axios, “Engagement on companion apps is also ‘unusually high’ compared to other apps.”

Customizing chatbots and avatars, people can essentially create the kind of person and experience they want to talk with. They can also add audio and video to make their experience with the avatar however they would like.
Yet this isn’t the first time we’re hearing about people seeking love through AI. Earlier this year, we heard about Framis, a Spanish-Dutch artist who was set to marry a hologram.
In China, the first ever AI-generated child known as Tong Tong was created. Now, instead of seeking out family, friends and relationships with other people, people are seeking out fulfillment through the artificial intelligence.

While people are imperfect and will make mistakes, gravitating toward the artificial will not solve our issues.
God provides a promise to His people in Jeremiah 30:17: “For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD.”
If God is the only One who can truly make us whole, then it is Him and Him alone that we should seek first. From our relationship with Him, we can then pour into others and see them through the eyes of our heavenly Father. Let’s pray that more people would seek Him first for love and fulfillment above all others.

3 Things You Need to Know About Angels
One cried to another and said: Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory (Is. 6:3).
For many of us, angels are a fascinating topic. However, many people have misconceptions about them and their purpose. In Katie Souza’s recent teaching on angels, she dives in deep to provide key pieces of information on what you need to know about these heavenly hosts.
To pre-order Katie Souza’s new book, “The Serpent and the Soul,” visit .
Angels were created by God.
“Ezra said that,” Souza notes, “He said, ‘you alone God made the heavens and the earth. You’ve made all the host of heaven.’ That word ‘host’ means the starry skies, but it also means the angels. God created the host of heaven.”
God created the angels, and they are servants of the Lord.
“His angels are His servants who carry out His will concerning every part of creation,” Souza says.
Psalm 103:20 tells us that the angels “do His commands” and “obey the voice of His word.”
“God’s angels are His servants who hearken to His commands, and since He’s the ruler over all creation, that means that they are assisting Him, serving Him, carrying out His will, His precepts, His commandments throughout all creation,” Souza says.

Angels are spirit beings.
Souza points out that Hebrews 1:7 calls out angels as beings of the spirit. This verse reads in the MEV, “Of the angels He says: ‘He makes His angels spirits, and His servants a flame of fire.’”
“That means they can go anywhere, be anywhere, they can travel to a place to help you wherever you’re at, they can be in the spirit, they can be in heaven; they’re spirit beings,” Souza says.
Since angels are beings of the spirit, they are not confined to the same kinds of natural barriers that we are.

Angels are meant to help us and protect us.
“Angels are assigned to help and protect us as born again believers, but even before we are saved,” Souza says. “Many times, angels are assigned to us before we even reach and receive salvation so that the angels can protect us…Hebrews 1:14 says, ‘are not the angels all ministering spirits? Servants sent out in the service of God for the assistance of those who are to inherit salvation.’”
As Souza describes, this means that those we are praying for who will someday be saved through Christ have an angel looking out for them, protecting them for that future salvation.
Angels are fascinating beings. When we think about them, we can see how creative God truly is with every single thing He makes.

Are You About to Marry The Wrong Person?
One the biggest fears many people experience is the fear of marrying the wrong person.
In a recent message, Alexander Pagani discussed the frustration that many people experience when they feel as though they’ve married the wrong person, and the discernment needed before entering into a marriage with someone.
To pre-order your copy of Alexander Pagani’s “The Secrets to Maintaining Your Deliverance,” visit .
“Nothing is more frustrating than being married to the wrong person,” Pagani says. “You want to do ministry, and they want to go home. Texting you in the car [to] hurry up.”
Pagani points out that people sometimes avoid getting the advice or opinion about the person they are dating from a spiritual mentor because they already know that they will be advised to step away from their boyfriend or girlfriend.

“My heart [is] breaking for people and I go, ‘why [did] you marry them then? Why are you marrying them? Because you never asked apostle’s advice because you knew I was going to tell you no,” Pagani says.
He also points out that people will then say that the Lord told them someone was the one for them, even speaking in tongues, which makes it impossible for others to say anything differently.

“…cause now I’m blaspheming the Holy Spirit according to you,” Pagani says. “‘The Lord said marry this person,’ I’m like, they don’t even really go to church.”
Pagani’s illustration makes the excellent point that marriage is not something you enter into lightly. Using wisdom is necessary with any relationship. No matter if you are praying about a romantic relationship or any other element of life, seek God’s wisdom and heart above all things.
James 1:5 promises that: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives all men liberally and without criticism, and it will be given to him.” If you ask Him for wisdom, He will supply it, and He is able to supply your life with other mentors and people who can speak with words of wisdom into your life, including about your decision on who to marry.

New Hampshire Stands Against Trans Surgeries for Kids
New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu has signed a bill restricting transgender surgeries on children.
As Catholic News Agency reported, Sununu also signed a bill that would keep biological male children from competing in girls’ sports.

In a press statement, Sununu said: “…charged political statements have muddled the conversation and distracted from the two primary factors that any parent must consider: safety and fairness for their children. These two factors have been my primary consideration in reviewing these bills.”
“This bill focuses on protecting the health and safety of New Hampshire’s children and has earned bipartisan support,” the statement continues.
HB 619, which restricts transgender surgeries on youth says it: “prohibits gender transition procedures for individuals under the age of 18 and prohibits the use of funds for these procedures.”

HB 1205, which includes restrictions on boys competing in girls’ sports, states, “Athletic teams or sports designated for females, women, or girls shall not be open to students of the male sex.”
The passage of these bills shows how people all across the country are tired of the exploitation of children to harmful procedures, practices and actions. Parents have the right to know what is going on with their children, and decisions to alter or treat a child as a different sex than what they were born as has immense consequences not only on the child, but on society at-large.

7 Reasons ‘The Bible Tells Me So’ Does Not Work For the New Generation
In today’s society, it can be easy to wonder where all the church-goers have gone. After the pandemic in 2020, many people who went to church never came back. However, is it just because people got used to the comfort of their homes on Sunday morning, or is there another reason why people have fled the church?
Here are seven reasons why the next generation is abandoning the church.
Modern American society is about a lifestyle of hustle and bustle.
From hobbies, health, jobs and the desire to seek spirituality on their own, our culture does not make community within a church priority.
Whether some have experienced prior church hurt and pain from others in spiritual communities, or simply find themselves busy, it is hard for many people to find the time to join a church and plant deep roots there. With more people moving and working from various locations today than they did years ago, it can be difficult to find true community in the brick-and-mortar church building. With our digital age, it can be easier to catch a sermon online than it is to fit time for church into an already full schedule. This core issue doesn’t just affect church, but many other elements in our culture as well. Unless this part of society changes, it will continue to be difficult to get people to view church attendance differently.

America has become more diverse.
Our nation has become more diverse over the years, and not everyone feels that the church today is conducive to an array of different views and backgrounds. Churches that have been set up around the idea of middle-class America are not as appealing to this next generation because they have grown up differently. With more Gen Zers coming from single parent families, immigrant parents, the next generation wants other global perspectives considered. Looking at Scripture from a classic, American perspective is too one-dimensional for this next generation. Perhaps discussion on persecution and the eternal value of the gospel would be more meaningful for this generation than the feel-good messages of the past.
Deep questions have been avoided for years.
Deep theological questions about the Bible and the troubles we see in our world today have been avoided or glazed over with phrases like “The Bible tells me so.” While this kind of faith is necessary as Jesus asks us to have the faith of a child, it can be difficult to simply accept some things, especially for those seeking out God for the first time. Having someone actually answer, or attempt to answer questions is a key for what many are looking for.
To order Michael Brown’s “Why So Many Christians Have Left The Faith,” visit .
The handling of LGBTQ communities has given Christianity a bitter taste for many Gen Zers.
Gen Z has been told lies about themselves from the public school system and society for years now, and these views are now etched in their minds. Many are now questioning if they were even born into the right body or are questioning if they are attracted to the same sex. Unfortunately, instead of reminding them that they were made in the image of God, the church has pointed out the sin without discussing the One who can wash away the sin.
Learning how to discuss why Jesus desires us to turn away from sin and how He can fill us and change us for the good is what this generation is desiring, whether they fully realize it or not.
Scandals and prosperity gospel woes have turned people away from seeking Christianity.
Church scandals and prosperity gospel practices have highlighted some of the biggest failures of the faith. Church is meant to be a safe place, but no one wants to go to church if they feel that they may be violated and taken advantage of. While all have fallen short of the glory of God, Christians are meant to be striving towards a holy, righteous life. If we want people to come to church, we have to show them that we as the church are willing to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Changing family dynamics have shifted people away from church.
Less people are now getting married and having families. This makes it easier for people to seek out relationship and communion with God alone instead of relying on the church community. However, church is meant to be a place for all people. Instead of making families alone feel welcomed at church, Christian communities need to see the value of all who walk through a sanctuary’s front doors.
Churches feel like a step back in time for many young people.
While the over-the-top seeker-friendly churches aren’t necessarily doing the trick for the next generation, many still feel like most churches are outdated. When it comes to values, some may have a lack of biblical understanding, however, the approach in which the next generation is seeking information is different from previous generations.
While it can be disheartening to see a next generation acting so rebellious in the topic of church-going, the truth here is that what they are looking for is the authentic reality of the gospel. What they need isn’t just hearing a good message that makes them feel good for five minutes, but instead, they need a place to steward and cultivate a relationship with Jesus worth having. To know Him intimately, and to see the love of Him poured out through those around them. The early church leaders gave an example in Acts of what the church should look like. Perhaps its time to get back to this core gospel message.

Pastor Knifed, Jonathan Cahn Asked to Take Over
In a message to his Beth-Israel congregation on the fulfillment of the Old Testament Law, Jonathan Cahn shared a thrilling story to make his point on why we are reliant today on Christ’s fulfillment of the Law instead of a different standard.
“The issue of the Law, it comes up today in Messianic circles and beyond that,” Cahn says. “There’s two extremes here. One is if you tell people they have to be under the Law, that’s an extreme, and that’s not of God.”
To pre-order Jonathan Cahn’s new book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy,” visit .
Cahn points out that the other extreme would be telling people that they can’t do things like observe the Sabbath.
To demonstrate his point about the fulfillment of the Law, Cahn spoke about the practice of circumcision and how the early church met to decide if it was necessary to be circumcised for salvation. This point came along with an intriguing story of how Cahn filled in one time for a church service when the guest speaker was accidentally knifed.
Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!
Cahn said that prior to him being a pastor, a guest speaker came from the Nazarene Church to speak at Beth Israel. After being introduced by Gary Selman, Selman gave the speaker a hug. Following that hug, the speaker got up to the pulpit and quickly excused himself, saying he had to leave. Selman followed the speaker after he ran to the bathroom. Selman then reported the issue.
“Gary comes out and says, ‘we have a problem,’” Cahn remembers. “The guy wasn’t yet full-time and he did artwork as a profession, and for some reason he left an X-Acto knife in his pocket. And when Gary hugged him, it went into his chest. Basically, Gary knifed the guest speaker.”
While the guest speaker went to the hospital, Cahn says he was then approached to quickly come up with a sermon to preach.

Reeling back to the early church’s discussions about circumcision, Cahn points out how God sometimes leads us by the things that we do not say or do.
“God did reveal that the gospel had to go to the Gentiles,” Cahn says. “He didn’t say anything about circumcision. He said ‘go make disciples of all nations…’ so sometimes he even leads by what He doesn’t say, and that tells you something there.”

Was the Yellowstone Explosion a Key to a Prophetic Warning?
Yesterday’s hydrothermal explosion at Biscuit Basin in Yellowstone National Park was a shock to the entire world.

A Kim Clement prophecy from June 14, 2014 was shared on Facebook which described this very event.
“There is a national park where there is an eruption under the earth. For it to come out and many say, ‘it is just simply an eruption.’ But it is not. It is a sign that I shall contain that which would try and be destructive in this nation. A volcano as a sign. And then there will be another earthquake, says the Lord,” Clement’s prophecy reads.
The prophecy also discusses a great “E” that will come into play and a call for God’s people to strike the rock.
“I will release that which has been held back from you and cause triumph to be sounded in your mouths,” the prophecy concludes.
This interesting prophecy comes at a time when we have started to see the fulfillment of Clement’s other prophecy of a ‘Strange July’ come to pass. This incident shows that a ‘Strange July’ may not just mean in the political realm as we saw with the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and Joe Biden’s step away from a re-election bid. Instead, this ‘Strange July’ may just encompass multiple areas of life.
One of the terrifying events we just saw included the global CrowdStrike outage affecting technology, people have been impacted around the world. Major entities like Delta Airlines are still dealing with the repercussions of this outage.
We can only imagine what other bizarre things we may see during this last week of a truly ‘Strange July.’

Steven Furtick’s Elevation Church Reaches $100 Million Milestone
Elevation Church made a $100 million dollar milestone in 2023.
In their 2023 annual report, the megachurch shared how they received over $97 million dollars in tithes and offerings and more than $11 million for year-end giving. This $108 million dollar figure comes as the church continues to see rapid growth.
In the annual report, Elevation states that they are seeing 17,061 people attend weekly, a 21% increase from 2022. In 2023, the multi-site North Carolina-based megachurch added locations in Belmont, North Carolina, Orlando, Florida and Toronto, Canada.

The sermon reach had it’s own impressive mark with over 93.2 million views. Pastor Steven Furtick’s “The Blessing of Letting Go” was the top heard sermon with over 1.5 million views. Elevation Worship’s wildly popular music also accumulated billion streams in total.
This growth comes after Elevation made the decision last year to pull out of the Southern Baptist Convention less than a month from the SBC’s decision to permanently remove Saddleback Church from the denomination.

Earlier this year, Elevation defended their decision to make seeker-friendly Easter invites that would not include phrases like “Calvary,” “resurrection” or “the blood of Jesus.”
The copy-and-paste invite was simple and read: “I’m heading to Easter at Elevation. Would you like to join me? The music and the message are always incredible. It’s honestly one of my favorite ways to celebrate the holiday. I’d love to have you as my guest this year!”
The Good Friday service, however, was promoted with language about Jesus’ death and resurrection.

New Series Uses ‘The Office’ Comedy to Tell Moses’ Story
A new show called “The Promised Land” is taking modern-day comedy and combining it with the biblical story of Moses.
“The Promised Land” features the story of Moses and the Israelites as they embark on their journey in the wilderness out of Egypt and into God’s promised land. However, instead of simply telling this story in the traditional way, “The Promised Land” is putting a spin on how this story is told, making it comparable to the “mockumentary” style of “The Office.”

“What do you think about when you think about Moses?” writer and director Mitch Hudson asked in a promo video. “I think for a lot of people, Moses is a stained-glass window character, someone who’s larger than life, someone that none of us could ever relate to. But the truth is, Moses was a man. Moses was a person that God chose. Someone who was unqualified, underprepared and obviously on paper, not the right pick to lead God’s chosen people…”

In an interview with Religion News Service, Hudson, who works on “The Chosen,” detailed that while he works on “The Promised Land” he does so with the Bible and biblical commentaries to help guide and direct him with where to go, and to understand when to be serious and when to make jokes.
“I view the target audience as predominantly millennials and Gen Z, especially people who have a degree of connection to faith,” Hudson said.
“The Promised Land” seeks to entertain a new generation in a similar way that younger audiences have connected with “The Chosen.” This new direction for faith-based entertainment is something that many people have desired to see as secular entertainment continues to move further toward the darkness. Let’s continue to lift up those in the entertainment industry who are seeking to be God’s light in the entertainment industry.
