An ancient Christian community has been discovered in one of the most unlikely places.

In Bahrain, a Middle Eastern nation in the Persian Gulf which is heavily dominated by Islam, a long-lost Christian building was discovered.

As Newsweek noted, excavations that took place between 2019 and 2023 revealed quite the surprise when a Christian building was uncovered. Timothy Insoll from the University of Exeter told the outlet that the finding of this building carries great significance because it is the only Christian architectural structure in Bahrain.

On the University of Exeter’s website, Insoll said, “This is the first physical evidence found of the Nestorian Church in Bahrain and gives a fascinating insight into how people lived, worked and worshiped.”

The university also notes that the radiocarbon dating of the building placed its age between the 4th and 8th centuries and that it “was abandoned after the population converted to Islam.”

It was also determined that the structure was built with stone and plaster. It is the plaster that was used to create the Christian symbols in the building.

“The Christian identity of the inhabitants is shown by three plaster crosses found, two that would have decorated the building, and one that could have been carried or kept as a personal memento,” the web description reads.

The excavation also revealed graffiti in the plaster which uncovered a Chi-Rho and a fish, further suggesting that the building was used by believers in Christ.

“We’re on the second day of this three-day Esther fast,” Engle says in a video posted on Facebook. “Thousands around the nation are fasting and praying in this most significant moment. The interesting thing is that Esther commanded Mordecai to mobilize the three-day fast.”

Engle pointed out how the people fasted for Esther because she was about to go before the king for him and give plead her requests to him.

“She was in a do or die moment. That’s why she said ‘fast for me,’” Engle says.

In a new, timely message to Joe Biden, Perry Stone is warning about the power we have behind the words that we speak.

“President Biden made this statement about Donald Trump and said he would stop him from being president,” Stone says. “‘He’ll be president over my dead body.’”

Stone says that while Biden meant this metaphorically, there is great power behind all the words we proclaim over our lives.

“Here’s my warning. The life and death that’s in the tongue is important because angels are released in Scripture by the words of your mouth. When Daniel was praying and couldn’t get an answer to prayer, the angel Gabriel said in chapter 10 of Daniel, ‘I come now Daniel for your words,’” Stone says.

“Daniel’s words or prayers, even though they were being delayed, the angel Gabriel said, ‘it’s your words that have released me to you to bring you an answer,” he continues.

Because the words we speak can activate the spiritual realm, we must be careful to only speak life over ourselves, and not death.

“You should never ever say, ‘he’ll do that over my dead body,’” Stone says. “In the spirit world of demonic powers, they also operate off of the words that are said.”

Stone points out how the demonic forces will watch what we do as well and try to use that to their advantage.

On Sept. 26, 2017, Charlie Shamp received a prophetic word about Kamala Harris before he even knew who she was or the prominence to which she would rise.

“I was in the state of California, I was ministering, I was waiting on the presence of the Lord in my hotel room [and] I was caught up into a vision,” Shamp said.

In this vision, he saw a woman whom he had never seen before. The woman fit the description of Kamala Harris, to which Shamp then says God revealed to him who the woman was and how she was going to be used in the days still to come.

“I saw a woman; I did not know who she was. I said, ‘who Lord, who is this?’ He said, ‘This is Kamala Harris. In the coming days she will be used by the left as a pawn to try to Trump president Trump. That she will be used as one that is a pawn to try to take him out,” Shamp said.

In a longer description of the prophecy, it was pointed out to Shamp that Harris was a star rising up from the West and who had been hand-picked by others in power.

One of the key points Shamp says that the Lord gave him was for people to pray for Harris. If the body of Christ were to pray for Harris to turn toward the Lord, God would have mercy on her and open her eyes to the true plans and purposes He created her for.

In his most recent prophetic message, Jonathan Cahn revealed the ancient mystery behind the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Discussing the unique priestly ordination ceremony found in Leviticus 8, we see Aaron and his sons being consecrated for ministry. It is in this passage of Scripture where we just may find the answers to the mystery behind the Trump assassination attempt.

“It is written that the Lord said to Moses, ‘take the ram of consecration,'” Cahn says, “And so Moses took some of its he put it on tanuk, the tip, of the ear of Aaron the priest and his right ear. He took some of the blood, put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron.”

While what happened to Trump is quite different than a ceremony for becoming a priest in the Old Testament, there are some striking parallels between what is recorded in the Bible and the assassination attempt on Trump’s life.

The tip of Trump’s right ear was bloodied, just as Scripture notes about the priestly consecration ceremony which also mentions blood on the right thumb and the big toe of the right foot. Cahn points out that Trump raised his right hand, and specifically his right thumb to his ear.

“He raises the thumb and his hand to the blood of his ear which he said was gushing all out,” Cahn says. “Undoubtedly now it wasn’t just his ear that was touched with blood, but his right hand. And the first thing that goes to it is the thumb of his right hand.”

“The blood goes onto the priest’s right foot,” Cahn continues. “Now, there’s no way this could happen as Trump had shoes on, but something happened. As Trump goes down, his shoes are would’ve dripped on the stage. Without shoes, stepping on the place where the blood had dripped, the blood could now touch his feet even through his socks.”

Cahn points out that the consecration of the priest happens in this specific order: ear, thumb and the toe of the right foot. It was in this same order that the blood would’ve flowed over Trump when the bullet hit him.

Cahn further points out what he believes could be significant about the location where the assassination attempt took place. While most of us have just glazed over the name of Butler, Pennsylvania, Cahn says there is much more to this than meets the eye.

“The word butler comes from the old French word, bouteillier, the cupbearer,” Cahn says. “The cupbearer is a biblical word.”

Cahn mentions how the cupbearer comes up in the Old Testament story of Joseph.

“In the original King James Bible, Joseph interprets the dream of the one he calls the butler, but it really means the cupbearer,” Cahn says. “But what is the cupbearer in the Bible? The cupbearer was connected to a king or than any other reason the cupbearer was there in the event of an assassination attempt on the king or ruler. He was there to prevent an assassination attempt.”

Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel is seeking God for the miraculous after his eye was brutally stabbed.

Emmanuel, an Australian bishop, was stabbed repeatedly back in April by a suspected radical Islamist. Footage of the attack was caught on camera, which major social media platforms attempted to silence. Mar Mari ended up losing his eye which he said he “[asked] the Lord Jesus Christ to accept this eye as a token of love, and a token of sacrifice.”

Now, the bishop is donning his new prosthetic eye as he seeks the Lord for a miracle.

In a new video, Emmanuel introduced the world to his appearance with the new prosthetic.

“You’re probably wondering, saying, ‘wow, the bishop looks different this time,'” Mar Mari said. “We thank the Lord always and for every situation and everything. We pray that this prosthetic eye is going to be the real eye in the near future.”

Emmanuel believes that God can do the impossible through prayer and give him a new eye with quite literal fresh vision.

Gateway Church has given an apology to Cindy Clemishire about the sexual abuse she endured as a child from former Gateway Church pastor, Robert Morris.

Gateway Elder Tra Willbanks gave the apology to the Clemishire before the start of the July 27 message at the church.

“We felt it was important to address Cindy Clemishire one more time,” Willbanks said. “Cindy, in case you are watching, we want to again apologize to you on behalf of our entire church for the years of pain that you have endured. We are sorry for our initial communication which was clearly incorrect.”

Willbanks bluntly pointed out that Clemishire experienced sexual abuse, something much different than what they were originally told by Morris.

“You were a child, not a young lady. Additionally, two weeks ago Gateway released a statement saying that this was quote, ‘an inappropriate relationship.’ This statement was not correct either. To be clear, we believe that this was sexual abuse of a child. Any description falling short of that does not reflect our position. I’m sorry that we got that communication wrong,” said Willbanks.

Willbanks further said that Gateway is not in any way trying to minimize what happened and to Clemishire and that they have no intention to cover up what happened.

“We are in no way attempting to cover up or minimize this situation. In fact, I would like to say to you, Cindy, thank you for coming forward. As you know, because of her story we did move swiftly to bring in an independent law firm to investigate this matter fully including who knew what and when. All parties are fully cooperating and the independent inquiry as I said before will be complete and we will deliver their findings to you as they do complete,” Willbanks said.

Willbanks further addressed the step aside from ministry by pastors James and Bridgette Morris, Robert Morris’ son and daughter-in-law. The two of them were further given the opportunity to share their gratitude and appreciation for Gateway Church and their dream of launching a new church on their own.

“I feel like it’s the ending of one season for us and the beginning of a new one, so the Lord is giving us vision for the future, but we do grieve not being here with you,” Bridgette Morris said.

“We are very excited about the future of Gateway,” James Morris said. “and even for us as we now go and we pray and we seek God to plant a church. With that I will say, even though we’re pastoring a different church, we are all the body of Christ and we are called to walk in unity.”

Right now, both Max Lucado and Joakim Lundqvist are set to take on interim pastoral responsibilities for the next six months at Gateway while the church searches for a new senior pastor.

Beauty was discovered in the midst of ashes at First Baptist Dallas.

Last Friday evening, the historic First Baptist Dallas church had a shocking four-alarm fire engulf its historic chapel, which was originally built in 1890.

However, all hope has not been lost. O.S. Hawkins shared an incredible discovery following the fire’s fury.

“So indescribably grateful for this miracle. In the midst of the total destruction of the church in the fire, this 130-year-old pulpit of Truett and Criswell and the others of us somehow, someway miraculously survived. Thank you Lord,” Hawkins wrote on X.

As Crosswalk reported, Dr. Robert Jeffress, First Baptist Dallas’ senior pastor, shared Hawkins’ post where he also wrote: “A true miracle—especially if you saw the flames engulfing the place this pulpit was displayed.”

On Facebook, Dr. Ben Lovvorn gave a one-week update on the building following the fire.

“It’s been one week since that four-alarm fire destroyed our historic sanctuary,” Lovvorn said. “But God has been good through this week. He’s answered so many prayers, and we’ve made incredible progress.”

Lovvorn said that for the safety of all, the church would meet again at the convention center in Dallas. Right now, beams and scaffolding are being added to the historic sanctuary.

IHOPKC has abandoned their plans to initiate a new church following the shuttering of Forerunner Church.

In an email obtained by The Roys Report, The International House of Prayer Kansas City made the announcement that they are not proceeding with the plans to establish Sanctuary Church.

“During the process of planning and carrying out these changes, incorrect statements were made about IHOPKC’s future and reasons for shutting down various ministry expressions. As we said earlier, IHOPKC is not shutting down,” the statement read.

The statement further clarified how the 24/7 prayer room would continue to operate.

“It is the decision of the Board of Trustees that the Prayer Room will remain independent of any external church and continue to be the heart of IHOPKC. Further, the Prayer Room will remain in its present location at Red Bridge center.

Our leadership is fully committed to the immediate task of improving and strengthening the Prayer room,” the statement continued. “It is presently our sole and unwavering priority to ensure this ministry is expressed through corporate gatherings of worship and prayer, training and discipleship.”

As the email continued further, it discussed the decision not to follow through with Sanctuary Church. However, those who are still actively part of the prayer room note their desire to see the Lord move upon Isaac Bennett’s life, the previous pastor of Forerunner Church.

“As many of you are aware, it had recently been reported that Isaac Bennett planned to form a new church called Sanctuary in collaboration with IHOPKC. We have been informed that those plans will not be moving forward. Despite the short-term disappointment, we are excited to see how the Lord will lead Isaac and Morgan, and bless any future ministry the Lord has for them.”

In the wake of the events surrounding Robert Morris’ sexual abuse of Cindy Clemishire, Morris’ son, James, has stepped down from the church.

As reported by CBS Dallas, Pastor James Morris and his wife, Bridgette, have stepped away from their roles at Gateway Church.

In a statement obtained by CBS Dallas, the church discussed the meeting that took place between the elders, James and Bridgette before a decision was made.

“Earlier this week, the (church) elders met with Pastor James and Bridgette and they collectively made the decision that Pastor James and Bridgette would both step down from their current positions and from leading Gateway Church in the future.”

The statement further spoke about the love and care Gateway Church has for James Morris and his family.

“We as elders affirm and believe that God has placed a desire in both Pastors James and Bridgette’s hearts to serve as senior pastors of a church at some point in the future,” it continued. “They have faithfully and honorably served our congregation and this community through all the years that they have been part of Gateway Church.”

Right now, Pastor Max Lucado is set to become a teaching pastor for Gateway and Pastor Joakim Lundqvist will also take on a greater pastoral role with church staff.
