Ministry leaders are speaking out after a gunman targeted Pastor Greg Locke and his family late last night.

Locke shared the disturbing news on Facebook, including images of bullet holes which were marked across his truck and the family’s home, even damaging his daughter’s headboard. One of Locke’s children was at home during the incident, but thankfully they were in a different area of the house. The Locke family is safe and were escorted to a secure location.

Since this news broke, ministry leaders close to Locke and his family have spoken out about the situation and how the body of Christ should react to this heinous act of violence.

Pastor Mike Signorelli took to YouTube for a livestream where he condemned the actions against Locke.

“I’m righteously angry,” Signorelli says.

Signorelli pointed to slander within the body of Christ as a stimulant for horrible actions to occur.

“For months and months I’ve been warning leaders in the body of ‘hey, look at the way that your people are acting in this comments section. Look at the way they’re talking. You need to correct that. You need to rebuke that. You need to discipline that.’ And many of them actually laughed at me and said, ‘It’s not that big of a deal.'”

“We are creating the conditions for these acts of violence. I’m talking ‘we’ as the body of Christ because we’re cooperating with the rhetoric of demons,” he continues.

“When I saw the pictures that Pastor Greg Locke posted, I thought to myself, ‘This is a life-altering event,'” he says.

Christian YouTuber Gabe Poirot also came out with a similar video, urging the body of Christ to speak and act more like Jesus.

“You cannot just be numb to what is going on around us because that’s exactly what the enemy is trying to do,” Poirot says.

“It is so important that we stop the bickering, we stop the criticism, we stop fighting against ourselves and that we would unite,” he continues.

Isaiah Saldivar also re-shared Locke’s Facebook, urging Christians to “pray for Pastor Greg Locke and his family!”

Jenny Weaver took to livestreaming as well to speak against slanderous speech.

“Enough is enough,” Weaver says. “I am asking for every minister, for every pastor, every person that is leading a group of people, you need to start to help your people ministers.”

Jac Marino Chen spent years caught up in all kinds of demonic, supernatural occurrences. Now, in an interview with Allie Beth Stuckey, Chen is sharing how she got out of the darkness and into the light.

As a child, Chen had an encounter with entities which she originally believed were angels, later on to discover that they were actually aliens. As a teenager, Chen was drawn to New Age beliefs like the law of attraction and how she could control her reality. Eventually, Chen found herself deep into occultic practices.

“I started being influenced by these entities,” Chen says. “One thing led to another led to another until I joined in an occult order called The Golden Dawn where we practiced ritual magic in a Freemason lodge, and it was there that Jesus Christ met me in that darkness and saved me.”

Before Chen was saved by Christ, she found herself in a relationship with a man based on the concept of “twin flames.” This ideology leads people to believe that they are supposed to be together no matter what, regardless of important factors like marital status. The belief is that these two people are the same as one another and have no other option than to be together.

“He taught me that we lived hundreds of lives and we were each other,” Chen says. “And that in some of them we sadly were sent on different quests but we were the same being, ultimately.”

“Ultimately, I made this man my god,” she continues. “He became my religion, teaching me about the New Age.”

As Chen’s life continued to spiral downward, learning about paganism, polyamory and taking psychedelic drugs to communicate with demonic entities, she eventually found herself joining an occult order.

“I was walking down the street and I saw a Freemason Lodge and [it] glowed,” Chen says. “So that got me more into the Masonic texts, cabalistic is a secret society, ultimately, I think that it has a lot to do with idolatry and gnosticism.”

While Freemasonry is known for being a brotherhood, according to Chen, there are Masonic orders for women as well.

“I ended up being led to the Golden I ended up being led there because I saw these tarot cards that were glowing and they ended up being the tarot deck by a man named Alister Crowley, and he’s known as the most wicked man to have ever lived,” Chen says.

Chen says that when she went to become initiated into the Freemason order, she was dressed in a black robe and red socks, and was encouraged to meditate before it took place.

“I was hoodwinked so I couldn’t see, and it was very dark. A lot of it had to do with taking John 15 out of context, that you’re going into the darkness to shine the light of knowledge in it, the secret knowledge,” Chen says. “There was a sword put to my neck swearing that I would never share what I learned.”

Chen would soon learn the darkness of blood rituals, including the secret behind abortion.

“…blood in general [was considered] powerful for magic practices. So when I see people doing things like abortion it as a practice as something magical, it makes sense with the lies that I was believing back then.”

As dark as this phase of Chen’s life was, Christ was able to break through even these horrendously dark parts.

“I got out my Bible and I started reading it, still thinking I had the secret knowledge, but it didn’t matter because as I was reading it was like I was being filled,” Chen says. “Every other thing would leave me hungrier and emptier and I would keep searching and searching, always learning, never coming to the knowledge of truth. But with this it was like satisfying me. And I just kept reading it and reading it.”

Pastor Greg Locke and his family were the targets of a gunman late on Tuesday night, Sept. 3.

Locke gave the update on Facebook to let people know that he and his family were safe and unharmed, by God’s miraculous grace.

“It’s 2:00 a.m. and for the last three hours our home has been a full-blown crime scene,” Locke writes. “According to the security cam footage, we pulled into our driveway exactly ONE MINUTE after a madman unloaded an entire magazine of bullets from an automatic weapon into our house, garage and my truck. The sound on the video is truly horrific. Detectives will still be here for a good while tonight.”

Locke says one of his children was at home when the shooting took place, but thankfully they were in a different part of the house.

“Only one of our kids was home and thank God not in the same area of the house. As you can see in the last pics, one of the bullets cut through the headboard of our youngest daughter’s bed and lodged in her pillow.”

Following the incident, Locke and his family were taken by security escort to a safe location.

“We are all being security escorted to a hotel tonight. We have no further details. The only detail that matters is that Psalm 91 is true and GOD PROTECTED US IN UNIMAGINABLE AND SUPERNATURAL WAYS. Please pray for the Locke family tonight. We love all of you.”

In a brand-new livestream, Katie Souza discussed a prophetic dream she had about what’s coming next during the month of September.

“I am bringing this word because I had an encounter,” Souza says. “I had an encounter yesterday where, in a dream state, I was chanting the words ‘necessary.'”

Souza says this lasted about 15 minutes before she came back out of this state. When she did, she looked up the word “necessary” in Scripture to find out what it had to say about it.

“The chapter Ezra 6 that I prophesied about in July, that chapter is about how the enemies of Israel were trying to stop God’s people from rebuilding the temple, from rebuilding the city of Jerusalem. They were even trying to get a legal decree from a King named Darius who was in power at that time, to force them by legal decree, to stop the building process,” says Souza.

Souza explains how it is in Ezra that we see the legal documents found originally decreed by King Cyrus that permitted the Israelites to rebuild the temple. The enemies of Israel were commanded to leave them alone so that this building process could take place. Souza points out that we find the word “necessary” in this portion of Scripture.

“I believe,” Souza says, “That all the things that are necessary for you to build your church, for you to build your business, for you to build your family, for you to build your outreach, for you to build and establish media platforms, social media platforms, for you to do all your entrepreneurial dreams that the Lord has put on your heart, whatever is necessary for you to build and strengthen your marriage, your family life, your physical health, is being released in this hour.”

Souza believes this is a time to see God’s supernatural provision come through for those who have been fighting to see God’s promises come to pass in their lives.

“Many of you have received legal decrees from the God of heaven,” she says. “You’ve received promises, Scriptures, verses, Rhema words. Have you ever wondered how you can effectively cast out demons?

In a new video, Isaiah Saldivar shared the basics about how believers can cast out demons.

The very first point Saldivar makes for effective and correct deliverance is that the person you are praying for must be a Christian and desire to be delivered.

“The demons recognize free will,” says Saldivar. “They recognize whether somebody wants it or doesn’t, and if you’re forcing deliverance on somebody, if you’re forcing them to get delivered, it’s not gonna work.”

Saldivar makes the point that the demons will laugh it off and say that they have a legal right to be there, which is true if somebody doesn’t want to be set free.

“Now if the person is an unbeliever and you somehow successfully do deliverance on them, the Bible says in Matthew 12 the demons are just going to come back stronger. So to me, there’s no point doing deliverance on somebody that’s going to go right back into their sin.”

The second point Saldivar makes is that it is the Christian’s job to help the person they are praying for to renounce their sin and ask for forgiveness and to tell the demons to flee.

Saldivar says that renouncement is simply saying that you don’t want something anymore to find that new life in Christ.

“…I’m denying this, I’m giving this up, and the demons are there because the person’s let them be there, so you are renouncing them,” Saldivar says.

Whether it’s renouncing witchcraft, lust or any other sinful area, renunciation breaks the legal right of the demons being there.

“Unforgiveness is a thing demons hang on to, so having the person verbally say they forgive whoever it was that hurt them or did something to them is a great way to see that breakthrough and so when you go into the deliverance the demons have nothing to hang onto,” says Saldivar.

After this time, Saldivar says this is the time where the person praying for deliverance is to call the demon out.

“I’ll simply say, ‘I bind the spirit of lust,’ whatever spirit it is, ‘I bind the spirit of anger, I bind the spirit of rage,’ and I’m literally talking to the demon, and I’m saying to the person, ‘I command the spirit to go. I bind you in Jesus’ name. You have no authority. You have no legal right; you must go,'” Saldivar explains.

After the demons have been confronted, they must be bound in the name of Jesus.

“The power comes from the name of Jesus,” he says. “So, once you start confronting that demon, you want to start binding it.”

The Bible says in Matthew 18:18 “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” What we do here on earth matters for how heaven itself also moves.

Saldivar says we must also be prepared for the case that the demon doesn’t leave. In that instance, he says it’s prudent to ask the demon its name. He points out that they may be holding onto something like unforgiveness or an unconfessed sin. However, we should not get into lengthy discussions with demonic entities.

“Jesus asked the demon its name in the Bible, so it’s okay for us to engage and them their name, but just know we don’t want to get into a long conversation. This is confrontation, interrogation, not conversation,” he explains.

Saldivar further encourages believers to go back and pray the prayers of deliverance over again to make sure a demon is not hiding and for the person to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

He would try to keep any Jewish person ever from praying on that mount. That’s the mount of prayer. That’s the Temple Mount. And that’s exactly what’s happened. He basically has the mountain, and Jewish people are not allowed to go on that mountain, and not only not build a temple or a synagogue, but they cannot even pray on that mountain.”

Cahn says if anything happens to upset this plan of the enemy, of the dragon, then he would bring complete chaos and disaster.

“People don’t realize it. This is the secret story before October 7, something that happened on the mountain. And that is that there was a rumor that Jewish people are going to go up there and celebrate Passover,” Cahn says. “It was a disaster. It was on Passover on a Hebrew holy day. Well, after that happened, Hamas issued a statement. They said basically in effect ‘we are going to have revenge on you…'”

After the surprise departure of Chris Reed from MorningStar Ministries last week, MorningStar’s founder, Rick Joyner, spoke to the congregation on Sunday, Sept. 1 about Reed’s resignation.

While Joyner says he was “shocked” but not “surprised,” he says it is the way that Chris left suddenly which he found most concerning.

“I did not feel that there was a shepherd’s heart revealed,” Joyner says. “A shepherd lays down their life for the sheep and certainly has regard for them. I didn’t feel like there was regard for me, for our board, any of this stuff that we had entrusted a lot to him. And I don’t think to just quit like that is what we ever need to do with anyone, with no notice.”

Joyner discussed the lawsuit which had been filed against MorningStar regarding young men in a youth group from MorningStar who claim to have been sexually abused by a former volunteer at MorningStar, Erikson Lee. The suit against MorningStar read:

“At times from 2019-2022, Erikson Lee provided alcohol, vapes and pornography to children as young as thirteen (13) years old, including Plaintiff John Doe #1, and eventually sexually exploited and abused multiple minor male children in a youth program at MorningStar, including Plaintiff John Doe #1.”

Joyner says that some of the claims within the suit as “wildly untrue,” but that it is true how one of the volunteers used their ministry position to commit awful actions against minors from MorningStar.

“We don’t ever want this to ever happen again to anyone,” Joyner says. “If we go to court, we’re not going to be against these victims. We’re not going to be on one ‘re on the same side. We want the truth.”

Joyner then turned his focus toward Reed and the reported relationship he had with a MorningStar Ministry student. He says that MorningStar looked into the claims from both Reed and the woman to figure out how to best deal with the situation.

“They said there had been no physical contact, just texts and things like this. And Chris had gone to his wife, Missy, with us, showed her his phone, showed her the texts,” says Joyner.

“He was put in a place of parole, kind of, went on a process of restoration where he met with Tom, I think once a week,” he continues. “He was being prepared to take over the leadership of the was put on hold during this process, and after a little time we made him acting president, acting CEO because that was part of the process. And I honestly wanted to see how he [was] going to behave when he gets the authority.”

Joyner then discussed how many pastors today consider ministry a profession instead of a calling to be a shepherd over God’s flock.

“I honestly believe there are very few shepherds with a shepherd’s heart that are really seeking to protect God’s people as He said they would, which is lay down their life if they have to for the people,” Joyner explains.

In the MorningStar Ministries Facebook livestream of the Sunday service, Joyner says that the board made the best decision they could at the time with the evidence they had been presented.

“This lady affirmed to us as strongly as I could imagine, there was nothing physical in this relationship. She and Chris both affirmed that,” Joyner continues. “The [woman’s] mother affirmed had to take their word that they cut it off, drawn a line, nothing physical had happened. Well, now I can say with a lot of confidence that’s not true. Neither one of them were telling us the truth.”

Joyner states that anything discovered further about the situation will be brought to light, not to be covered up. He also says that if Chris wanted to come back to the MorningStar family, he would be welcomed with open arms.

While Labor Day may appear to just be another holiday on the calendar for many of us, the concept of rest is something few of us resonate with well. However, the Bible makes it clear: Rest is necessary in order for us to keep running the race of faith well. Here are five biblical principles about rest that Christians should consider as we walk out this journey with Christ.

God is our perfect example of rest.

— If the Creator of heaven and earth Himself rested, then we should follow His example.

“Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He had rested from all His work which He had created and made” (Gen. 2:3).

God rested after creating everything that exists, and it was this seventh day that He considered holy. That’s no coincidence. Like our heavenly Father, we must take the time to rest. It is in this rest where we can most clearly seek His presence and holiness.

— Without rest, you will not have the capacity to do all that God has in store for your destiny.

All of us require rest at some point. If we do not rest, our level of excellence will decrease, and burnout is sure to knock at the door. Elijah is a great example of someone who had allowed fear to take over after seeing the Lord make Himself known to the people of Israel. He confronted the prophets of Baal, and the Lord showed up, but Elijah became fearful of Jezebel.

One of the things the Lord did to restore Elijah so he could continue with his purpose was quite simple: He sent an angel to feed Elijah so he could continue the race.

As he lay and slept under the juniper tree, an angel touched him and said to him, ‘Arise and eat.’ He looked and there was a cake baked on coals and a jar of water at his head. And he ate and drank and then lay down again.

The angel of the Lord came again a second time and touched him and said, ‘Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.’ He arose and ate and drank and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mountain of God (1 Kings 19: 5-8).

It wasn’t long after this when Elijah met Elisha, who would be his successor and have an even greater portion of anointing than Elijah.

— Resting allows God to do the miraculous.

Resting in God by trusting that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, allows Him to do what only He can do. Sometimes the greatest kind of obedience we can have is to be still and know that He is God (Ps. 46:10).

God does everything in His perfect timing and will. If we do not rest and leave our concerns in His hands, we will miss out on the greatness of His perfect plan.

Psalm 46:10 reminds not only to be still, but it reaffirms the glory that God deserves. “I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 37:7-8 tells us to “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of those who make wicked schemes. Let go of anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret—it surely leads to evil deeds.”

When we rest in the Lord, trusting that He has us in the palm of His hands, we can be assured that He will move on our behalf.

— The Sabbath was made for us.

We can easily become religious about taking the Sabbath like the Pharisees were. However, God didn’t create it to pigeonhole us; He made it for our benefit.

When the Pharisees became angry at Jesus for allowing the disciples to pluck the heads of grain, He reminded that God is still in charge even on the Sabbath, and religious striving is not what He is after.

“Then He said to them, ‘The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath’ (Mark 2:27-28).

— Rest is essential for going deeper in our relationship with Jesus.

If we want to grow in our relationship with Christ, we have no choice but to rest in Him and with Him. Sometimes rest includes doing less of the hustle and bustle and more time reading the Word, worshipping and praying. If we never unplug to the world, how can we ever expect God to speak more to us?

Jesus promised to be the living water that we need, the one who can sustain us through everything and is all-sufficient for us.

“Jesus answered her, ‘If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water” (John 4:10).

Jesus is the one who fills us, and unless we take the time to get to know Him, in a state of rest, we will miss out on being filled by Him.

This Labor Day, take the time to be nourished by God’s great rest and restoration. There is nothing like being filled by His presence.

“When you look at Revelation, you see the colors are there; the colors of the Apocalypse are the Four Horsemen or the riders and the Four Horsemen,” Cahn says. “And the Apocalypse ultimately converges on Israel in Armageddon in the end … of course you have the white horse; then you have the red horse, symbolizing war; then you have the black horse with famine and want; then you have the pale green horse, which is death.”

Cahn points out that these colors of the Apocalypse are the same colors of the Palestinian flag.

“If you look at what was appearing all over these protests against Israel from Harvard to around the world in the West Bank in Gaza, you saw the colors of the Apocalypse,” he explains. “The flag of Palestine is white, red, and black and green.”

This uncanny connection between Israel, Revelation and the Palestinian flag is just one of many mysteries Cahn unlocks in his new book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy: Israel, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days,” which releases on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Cahn also makes the connection that the death of Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran killed in a helicopter crash earlier this year, foreshadowed an end-times prophecy coming to pass in our day and age.

“Ezekiel says that Iran is one of the nations that’s going to come against Israel,” Cahn says. “Well, Iran is the only one that has directly struck Israel. And God says, ‘I will bring you against the mountains; you will fall in the mountains.’ Ebrahim Raisi was struck, brought down against the mountains, and fell upon the mountains of Israel.”

As we see biblical prophecy come alive right in front of us, this is the moment to stick close to the Word of God, to know and understand what’s happening around us and to continue sharing the gospel with everyone we encounter.

In a recent livestream, Isaiah Saldivar spoke with Richard Matthews and heard his powerful testimony of leaving the LGBTQ+ community and coming to Christ.

Matthews shares how growing up, he didn’t have his father present in his life, which led him to feel abandoned and alone. Living in a single-parent household, he says he grew up fairly quickly, having to be independent as much as possible. He got into performing arts, which he says was one way of being able to mask and hide the deep-seated rejection lying within him.

Eventually, pornography was the door that led Matthews down a deep, treacherous path.

“Pornography was really the door that was opened up for me,” Matthews says. “And the reason why I got into pornography [was] because those years of bullying I was called gay and it was like, ‘Well, what does this word “gay” mean?'”

Matthews also says that at the time, church had not been helpful for explaining to him what biblical sexuality looks like. He notes that the consequences and the seed of sin had not been explained in an impactful way.

“My pastor ended up having sexual misconduct and just allegations against young boys at my church, and the whole church imploded and fell,” he says. “We stopped going to church; my mom stopped going to church. It was a really big scar for us.”

After dealing for years with sexual immorality, anxiety, nightmares and depression, Matthews finally started going back to church, where he heard the message about the woman who dealt with the issue of blood and her desperation to be healed.

“I was desperate, like nothing was working,” he explains. “There’s this desperation, you’re hitting a wall, there’s this obstacle that you’re trying to get around that you have to go through, and the only way for you to go through it and face your obstacles and trials and traumas and triggers is through Jesus Christ.”

While Matthews still dealt with wanting to be both gay and Christian, he finally came to a place where he honestly told God he wanted to come to Him but was afraid to do so. He knew he needed transformation.

“I opened up my heart in repentance to the Lord to come and do the work and clean my temple,” Matthews says. “I heard the Lord say, ‘Just come to Me. We’ll worry about the other stuff later.’ And this is very vital because I didn’t come to Jesus to be straight. … I came to the Lord for Jesus. And in the process of coming of coming to the Lord, the Lord has sanctified and transformed me in ways that I couldn’t even imagine from the inside out.”

This testimony is a reminder that there is no one too far gone for the Lord, and that He alone is the portion we need to fill our hearts and minds.
