Isaiah Saldivar Unveils the Sinister Side of CoComelon

CoComelon has become the most popular children’s show of this generation. However, it is known for becoming incredibly addicting for the children who watch it. Why is this so, and could there be more to this story than what meets the eye?

In a reaction video, Isaiah Saldivar shared how this kid’s content has triggered all kinds of negative behaviors within its viewers.

To pre-order Isaiah Saldivar’s new book, “How to Cast Out Demons,” visit Amazon.com.

“They say right now ADHD is at a record-breaking high for kids, that it’s all no attention span; kids can’t sit through anything, sit through class, sit through a movie because their attention spans are being ruined from shows like CoComelon and from TikTok and from Instagram,” Saldivar says.

The first thing that the video shows is the deceptive ways CoComelon uses color patterns and saturation to addict children to what they are watching.

“Extreme saturation is normally used for alerts and notifications as its exciting dynamic and attracts attention which is why it’s also used in slot machines,” the video notes. “CoComelon puts these colors in perfect contrast, making them appear even more vibrant.”

The video also points out the highly repetitious nature of CoComelon, which essentially makes the content of the show stick into the children’s minds more easily.

Not only are the contents of CoComelon addicting for children, but the message behind the show has an agenda. From showcasing two fathers in an episode, to creating a song about a child refusing to brush their teeth or take a bath, it’s teaching children to be rebellious.

The video further notes how CoComelon has a “Distractatron room” where they watch to see if the kids will take their eyes off of the show and note when they do so. The internet has also exploded with parents discussing how their children became energized with rage, throwing tantrums after watching CoComelon, many even having speech delays.

“These companies don’t care about our kids. They want to infect our kids with this absolute trash and we need to be vigilant and not lazy,” Saldivar says. “Children are, the Bible says, a gift from God. God has given us our kids and we need to be responsible with the gift that He’s given us. We need to steward them properly.”

Max Lucado: Latest News and Updates On Gateway Church

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, author and minister Max Lucado gave an update on Gateway Church after taking on a interim pastoral role with the megachurch as they seek a new, permanent pastor following the resignation of Robert Morris earlier this summer.

Lucado has been a guest speaker with Gateway over the years, and has become acquainted with some of the elders and staff members at the church.

“My heart was broken like everyone else’s heart’s were broken at the revelation of the scandal that came to light,” Lucado says. “I immediately reached out to the people I know at Gateway who are members and expressed my love and prayers for them.”

Lucado says he was on vacation at the time of the news breaking about Morris, and after he returned they reached out to see if he could speak for one weekend. During this time, Lucado met with some of the elders who asked if he would be willing to help teach for about six months.

“I was invited and so was Pastor Joakim Lundqvist from Sweden, just a delightful man, and he and I are splitting the teaching privileges at Gateway,” Lucado says.

To pre-order your copy of Joakim Lundqvist’s new book, “Shine Your Light,” visit Amazon.com.

Lucado also made it clear that he has not left his church in San Antonio, but that he is happy to fly back and forth right now to help out a church in need.

“The church is showing some beautiful signs of health. Here we are, almost two and a half months, maybe three months into this and initially of course, understandably, they were shell-shocked. But every time I go, I sense there’s more energy, there’s more joy, there’s heartfelt worship, and they are being reminded as any Christian is, at some point in their life that we don’t put our trust in a person, a leader or a pastor. We put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that’s what they’re doing. They’re trusting Christ,” Lucado says.

Lucado says renewal will take a while, but that there are early signs of it already happening at Gateway. One of the things Lucado has been doing is seeking the counsel of the elders at Gateway in preparation of his messages. One of the keys that they decided to focus on at this stage in Gateway is the core message of the gospel and the life of Jesus.

Lucado also points out that even in the middle of the hardest trials and tribulations of life, the one thing that will never change is Christ Himself. It is this core of the gospel that the people of Gateway need to keep in mind at this present time.

John Ramirez: How You Can Fight For Your Testimony

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death,” (Rev. 12:11).

There is power in telling our testimony to other people so they may hear the Good News of the gospel. However, we can easily get caught up in the amazement of someone else’s story that we forget to tell our own. Yet, God has a purpose for every single one of us and the stories He wants to tell through us.

To pre-order John Ramirez’s new book, “Exposing the Devil’s Playbook,” visit Amazon.com.

In a recent video, evangelist John Ramirez discussed the power of victory that comes through our testimony.

“I enjoy other people’s testimonies, I’m excited about other people getting victories, but I hear a lot of Christians talking about other people, but they don’t talk about themselves,” Ramirez says.

He points out that not sharing one’s testimony comes partially from a lack of understanding spiritual warfare.

“They don’t engage, they don’t know how to fight a good fight, they don’t know the battlefield, they don’t understand the strategies and the weapons of the enemy, they don’t have ‘The Devil’s Playbook,'” Ramirez says.

Ramirez says this is not the time to rely on other people’s testimonies, but to fight the good fight of faith by knowing what God has, can and will do in your own life.

“I want to engage you to get you off the bench, and to drag you into the battlefield so you can fight your fights and stop relying [on] other people’s testimonies. And it’s good people got testimonies, but what about your testimony?” Ramirez asks.

“The victories that you win today [are] the stories you tell tomorrow,” he continues. “About your testimony. About what God did in you and through you. How you crushed the head of the serpent. How you broke free from addictions…you need to know how to fight your fight so tomorrow you have stories to tell and glorify the Lord with it.”

Was Israel’s Return Prophesied About by Charles Spurgeon?

In a powerful sermon by New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Cahn, Cahn unveiled the mystery behind a prophetic message given by Charles Spurgeon over the nation of Israel.

To order Jonathan Cahn’s new #1 New York Times best-selling book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy,” visit Amazon.com.

“I want to take you back to the century before the 20th century, to the 19th century, to a preacher many of you have heard of,” Cahn says. “Charles Spurgeon; a preacher in England, 19th century of great influence who took the Bible seriously as the Word of God. He spoke against the ministers in his day who were beginning to water it down.”

Cahn says that at this time, 1864, many were preaching replacement theology and that God was done with the nation of Israel.

“The land of Israel was a barren wasteland,” Cahn says. “Desert, abandoned, forsaken. You could go for miles in some places and not see one weed, not one green thing. That was one of the most desolate places on this planet, as God said it would be.”

We all know, however, that God had alternative plans and would someday bring the nation of Israel into existence in 1948, when He declared that the time would be right.

Cahn then read the words of Spurgeon regarding Israel, years before it would become a nation again.

“Israel is now blotted out from the map of nations. Her sons are scattered far and wide. Her daughters mourn beside the rivers of the earth. Her sacred song is hushed. No king reigns in Zion, in Jerusalem. She brings forth no governors among her tribes, no leaders. But she is to be restored. She is to be restored as from the dead,” Cahn reads.

“When her own sons have given up all hope of her, then is God to appear to her, she is to be re-organized. Her scattered bones are to be brought together. There will be a native government again. There will again be a form of a body politic. A state shall be incorporated,” he continues.

Spurgeon’s prophecy continued to discuss how Israel, while currently cast down and out, would not be this way forever. He saw that the people of Israel would come together again one day, and they would live in a fruitful land, the land flowing with milk and honey.

Cahn points out how these words from Spurgeon came about in 1864 when there had not been a nation of Israel in 2,000 years.

“All these promises certainly imply that the people of Israel are to be converted to God and that this conversion will be permanent for the Tabernacle of God is to be with them,” Cahn says.

Max Lucado: Exploring the Millennial Reign of Christ

One of the most debated discussions within Christianity is the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ. In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, author and pastor Max Lucado discussed the exciting and mind-boggling topics of the thousand-year reign of Christ, the Great Tribulation and the rapture.

Speaking about Revelation chapter 20, Lucado says, “There are a variety of ways that passage is interpreted, but for the sake of simplicity, I think there’s two buckets. One is that person who says that’s all symbolic language; we’re living in the Millennium right now. The other is the person who says no, that’s not symbolic; that’s literal language, and that Millennium is yet to come.”

Lucado says he has personally moved from the Amillennial viewpoint, which holds the thousand-year reign of Jesus to be more symbolic than literal, and now holds a pre-Millennial point of view.

“I think you can make a better case for the fact that there is truly going to be a thousand years in which Christ will be crowned, in which Satan will be bound, and we will reign with Christ for those thousand years,” says Lucado.

“I think it’s important that of the early church fathers for the first 300 years the church was overwhelmingly pre-Millennial. There were a few exceptions, but overwhelmingly the early church fathers including one who studied with the apostle John spoke of the literal Millennium. And then lastly there’s two resurrections described in the teaching of Revelation 20. One at the beginning, one at the end of the thousand year reign. How can you have two resurrections if there is not a Millennium to separate them?” Lucado says.

To order your copy of Jonathan Cahn’s #1 New York Times best-selling book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy,” visit Amazon.com.

Lucado also points out that how you see the Millennium transforms your perspective on how you view the end times. Lucado believes the next big event we can expect to see is the Rapture.

“The next major event on the prophetic calendar is, in my estimation, the Rapture,” he says. “That God will rapture the church, and He will deliver us from the wrath that is to come and the wrath that is to come is that period of Tribulation. And then the Tribulation is concluded by Christ returning to earth, and we will return with Him and He’ll set up His Kingdom on earth.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Lucado believes when you take the Millennium out of the prophetic timeline of the events that are to occur during the last days, it leaves many questions about this timeframe unanswered.

Lucado says that the term “rapture” means “snatched up,” or “taken away.”

“It seems the best interpretation of these Scriptures, to me, is that Christ will rapture His church to deliver us from a coming wrath, and that wrath is the Tribulation. And the rapture is when He will come and rescue the church, take us into paradise with Him, and we will enjoy conscious fellowship with Him. We will be recognized by Christ, rewarded by Christ, wedded to Christ. And while that’s happening, that’s when the Tribulation will break out on earth,” says Lucado.

Fort Worth Pastor Claims Wrongful Termination for ‘Inappropriate Images’

Fort Worth pastor, Scott Crenshaw of Lake Country Church, is claiming that he was wrongfully fired for viewing “inappropriate images,” and is seeking to get his pastoral job back.

As the Christian Post reported, Crenshaw, who was the senior pastor of Lake Country Church, is seeking to be re-instated into his position after he was fired.

“[He] has not looked at any inappropriate images. That is an absolutely baseless claim on behalf of the elders,” Crenshaw’s attorney, Mark Lane said to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “They’ve engaged in nothing but rumor mill and scandalous discussion with employees with malice.”

Crenshaw, however, has had issues in the past when it comes to viewing “inappropriate images.” Back in 2016, he had to step down from his position at New River Church for this issue, which occurred during his recovery time from cancer. He was then hired in 2018 at Lake Country Church and admitted that he previously had an addiction to pornography. He told the Christian Post, “Technology was my downfall, but now technology is helping my restoration process.”

In a 2020 issue of Mission Frontiers, shocking research statistics by the Barna Group and Covenant Eyes was revealed including that “68% of church-going men and over 50% of pastors view porn on a regular basis. Of young Christian adults 18-24 years old, 76% actively search for porn.”

Pornography is a stronghold that plagues not only our culture at large, but it has found its way into the church and has found its grip around our leaders. This is the moment when leaders need serious covering in prayer, that they would not fall to the whims of this world, but that they would stand strong in the faith. For the body of Christ we need to seek God with our whole hearts and allow Him to fill us. Nothing in this world will ever complete us the way He can.

The board of OnePassion Ministries mournfully announces that just recently Steven J. Lawson confessed to the board that he has had an inappropriate relationship with a woman, a sin that has disqualified him from ministry. In response, Steve has resigned from all his duties at OnePassion Ministries.

In response, all planned events have been canceled.

All scheduled events and engagements have been cancelled.

Steve has confessed and regrets the damage he has caused to his family, the church, the reputation of OnePassion Ministries and most of all Jesus Christ.

We are saddened for the glory of Christ in this matter. The truth of the gospel will continue go out to the lost world as it is empowered by the Holy Spirit and not by men. It is a reminder that we have been warned of the craftiness of the enemy.

The message ends with a warning from 1 Peter 5.

MorningStar on the Defensive Amid Legal Clashes

MorningStar Ministries is on the defensive amid legal battles regarding the alleged sexual abuse cases of minors by a former volunteer at the church.

In a statement to the Christian Post, MorningStar is sticking to its belief that they should not be blamed for what happened to the alleged victims.

We are aware that several young men have filed lawsuits against the ministry. While we don’t know at this point what more we could have done to have vetted Officer Lee in advance to ensure that he would not have taken advantage of these young me, we hold no malice or anger towards the young men or their parents who have chosen to file the suit.

The ministry claims that some of the alleged victims and their families continued to go to the church after they were abused by Lee.

Some of these families remained active in our church even for months after Officer Lee’s arrest, and they are always welcome at MorningStar.

Lee pleaded guilty to second and third-degree criminal sexual misconduct with a child, per the Christian Post.

This legal battle for MorningStar has become especially contentious, with Chris Reed claiming that he left the ministry largely due to this case. Continue to lift up all those caught up in this case in prayer.

In light of this, may we be reminded that we are ALL sinners, and Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners – and Christ remains Head of His Church, which is bigger than any fallen man. In fact, Jesus Christ will continue to lead His Church, including Trinity Bible Church here in Dallas, just like He has from the start of this work on January 5, 2018. Since that time, the elders have focused on the primacy of biblical exposition knit together by various men filling the pulpit each week. The Lord was building Trinity Bible Church of Dallas well before Steve became our Lead Preacher, and He will continue to build this church long after Steve Lawson, or any other man for that matter.

We would ask for your prayers for the elders, for our Body, and for Steve and his family. Let us always be mindful of the words of 1 Corinthians 10:12, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.”

This is yet again another Dallas-area church this year that has been shaken up by scandal.
