After announcing that the Vatican would open five sacred portals on Christmas Eve, many were intrigued by what this meant. As Charisma News reported, this was set to mark the Catholic Jubilee, the first time in 25 years that these “portals,” or “Holy Doors,” were to be opened. Now, Pope Francis has gone through with this sacred, Catholic tradition.

In the video of Pope Francis at the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica, he can be seen knocking on the door, it slowly opening and of him being pushed in his wheelchair through the doorway. The Vatican considered this to be the start of the “2025 Jubilee Year of Hope.”

According to the Vatican News, this “Ordinary Jubilee” which started on Dec. 24 will end with the closing of the Holy Door on Jan. 6, 2026.

The Pope’s Christmas mass following this historic event included his prayer for the Holy Year in which he said, “May the light of Christian hope illumine every man and woman, as a messenger of God’s love addressed to all! And may the church bear faithful witness to this message in every part of the world!

“Tonight, the door of hope has opened wide to the world,” the Pope said. “And God speaks to each of us and says, ‘There is hope also for you!'”

The Pope also called for people not to be caught up in laziness and to “rediscover the joy of meeting the Lord” during the Jubilee. He will also open another sacred “portal” today, Dec. 26, in a Roman prison.

What’s interesting about the Pope’s decision to open these portals is that it comes during a time when the discussion of portals, extraterrestrials and bizarre occurrences in the sky continue to take our world by storm. Portals are not typically known for opening us up to good, noble things, but rather they are frequently included in the discussion about the demonic.

By calling these doors holy, the Pope also appears to reassert what many would consider God-like authority. Yet, it is only Jesus who can truly make an open door holy. Revelation 3:7-8 tells us:

He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens, says these things: I know your works! Look! I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it.

As the Pope continues to open and close doors, we’ll have to see what the spiritual repercussions are of his actions.

In a recent livestream, Troy Black gave a prophetic word for what he believes we can expect to see happen in 2025.

“…He’s not wanting to destroy, but He’s wanting to reconstruct, and He’s wanting to produce new fruit and new life out of places that have grown decrepit in some ways,” Black says.

Black believes that we are now at a new breaking point in the body of Christ and in America.

“He said, ‘Things are reaching a breaking point in the spiritual and in the natural,'” Black says. “He said, ‘In this nation, some systems in place will be reaching a breaking point this for the purpose of destruction, but rather for rebuilding and restructuring.'”

He says this breaking down is different than what we saw happen in 2024. This past year, the church experienced a cleansing that needed to take place. However, in 2025, the kind of restructuring that will happen will be refreshment to God’s people.

“There’s this moment of refreshing that’s taking place. There’s this moment of restructuring, reconstructing so that the new can come,” Black says. “A restructuring of many things in this will happen overnight.”

While Black says he does not believe this literally means things will change overnight, he does believe that the Lord will bring about miracles suddenly. He also says that this is the year for Christians to let the Lord do the work that He wants to do.

“He said, ‘Let it happen. For those who reach this point in their lives this the Lord do the work that needs doing because sometimes a scalpel has to re-open a wound before a full healing can take place.'”

2025 just may be a year full of unexpected, beautiful opportunities.

In a recent video, Mario Murillo gave an “End of Year Appeal for 2024” message discussing the kingdom opportunities knocking right at our door in 2025 to bring the glory of God to earth as it is in heaven.

“Something has just happened that has not happened in the United States in over 150 years, and we’re going to hate ourselves if we don’t take advantage of it,” Murillo says. “The election of Donald Trump was far deeper a significant thing than just an election, and the reason that he was voted for by a majority of Americans was spiritual, not just political.”

Murillo contends that the people of the United States are finding their way back to God. During 2024, Murillo saw people on the streets open to the gospel, with crusades taking place in Arizona, New York, Michigan, California and Wisconsin. This year, Murillo’s ministry also built a 20,000 square foot warehouse, a studio, purchased thousands more chairs and three crusade tents, and more, all to allow for more people to be reached with the message of Jesus.

“We had an average of 100,000 people for a four-night crusade,” Murillo says.

During their last crusade, Murillo says the viewership for the event was 1.2 million people. It is this spreading of the ultimate Good News that he says will not and cannot slow down for the sake of America’s future.

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, Travis Johnson expressed what he believes the Lord is saying we should be on the lookout for in the coming year.

“…It’s a window of opportunity for revival,” Johnson says. “Really, a revival of the American spirit. I feel like we are going to see a revival of the necessarily spiritually, church revival, but just a renewal and a refocusing, a regripping of the family and a revival of the things good and decent and profitable.”

Johnson says this is a time for going, moving forward in the call of God.

“What I’m hearing is ‘Take dominion. Show up. Take dominion. The environment’s already been prepped. Step in, step foward,'” says Johnson.

Johnson notes that many Christians try to take everyone they can along their journey with them. While it is good of us to want everyone walking along the path of righteousness, we cannot slow down or get pulled back if others will not take those steps forward with the Lord.

“I’m walking through the door in 2025. I’m not looking back to see who’s following. I have confidence that as I walk through, people are following,” Johnson says.

As we prepare to go into some new places and territories in 2025, Johnson is also reminded from the book of Revelation that we must strengthen that which remains. The church cannot sit on the sidelines anymore and allow woke ideology to take over, nor can we slide back into the place of what is comfortable. Instead, we must move forward with the holy calling of what the Lord has for us.

“Spiritually, I see it. I believe God is raising up some great voices in this moment.”

One of the ways Johnson has seen the Lord calling the church to be more like the hands and feet of Jesus is through a unique Christmas outreach with Buy a Tree, Change a Life.

“We were co-sponsoring Christmas at Chimney Rock. Of course, Chimney Rock captured America’s attention as this 20-foot wall of water comes down through this really beautiful part of Appalachia and just wipes out homes and businesses,” Johnson recalls.

Johnson says that while he was there giving out Christmas trees to families, the town’s tree lighting took place where they did something extra special for the residents of Chimney Rock.

“We had decorated the tree with items that had been scavenged downstream from the flood. And they were shoes. They were little toys. They were little guitars that had been lost from people’s homes. So, these little kids come up and they’re seeing their toys and clothing in the tree. It was the most joyful, tearful moment that you can imagine.”

Carpenter used the feature to give the AI-generated pastor an example of a prayer request need for someone who is not feeling well. In response to the prayer request, the AI-generated Pastor Ron gave a brief introduction followed by a prayer for healing.

“Heavenly Father, I thank You that You know us and hear us right now. I lift up my friend to You. I ask for Your healing to be upon them,” the AI Pastor Ron says.

According to Christian Post, the new feature will cost users $49 for the monthly plan to message and chat with the AI bot as frequently as they desire.

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, prophetic voice Amanda Grace spoke about what the Lord has planted on her heart for what we can expect to see in the coming year.

One of the things that Grace points to that the church must do right now during the time before President-elect Donald Trump ascends to office is pray for unity within the government, his cabinet and for the body of Christ. Seeking to divide our nation in the coming days is exactly what the wicked enemy would love, but the prayers of the righteous can and will prevail much. “That’s one of the things coming into 2025; the Lord wants to give to those who will serve Him and obey and be obedient,” says Grace. “He wants to give that too in this year because it’s a year of ‘double great.'”

Right now, Grace says we have two options: either to choose life or to choose the sword. We have the option to either continue to be humble and obedient, following and trusting the Lord or going back to our worldly ways. The choice is ours.

We as the church have to be the watchmen and women right have to walk in obedience to the Lord. We have to be in the Word. We have to stay in that place of submission, walking through this because the enemy right now wants to destroy the unity and he wants to steal the abundant life that God wants to give you this year because it’s flagged by grace. He is giving us a double window of grace in this year in order to get right with Him, to do what He’s calling to do the assignments we’ve been called and to walk them out. He’s giving that to us, and either the sword or life is going to prevail.

Grace also believes this year will be a critical Road to Damascus year for some who have been appointed in Trump’s cabinet.

“There are some people in that cabinet that are called of God that don’t even know they’re called yet,” Grace says. “There are others that are intellectuals, right? Intellectualism, at times can be an enemy of God. It can be a friend or it can be an enemy.”

This, as Grace points out, comes from the intellectual drive to try to walk everything out on their own, without a spiritual surrender to the Lord. As both kinds of individuals face new challenges, she points out that: “There are those in the Trump cabinet that are going to meet their road to Damascus this year. And for good reason because they’re Sauls that need to become Pauls.”

She further believes this is going to be a very big, fruitful year for many within the church as they walk out their destiny with Christ.

“This year, I believe, is going to be an earmark year for those in the body of Christ, meaning what the Lord has called them to do, what they have been walking out with their training with the Lord, what they have been doing with the Lord, that they are about to come into the fullness of why they were raised up,” Grace says.

Bishop T.D. Jakes has found himself embattled in another legal suit amid the discussions about the Sean “Diddy” Combs list, a terrifying health scare and a separate defamation suit.

Jakes had his attorney, Dustin Pusch, move to file a subpoena against Google, according to Yahoo Entertainment. The subpoena is meant to go after YouTube due to what Jakes says are AI-created lies against him on different YouTube channels.

The channels reportedly come out of Kenya, South Africa, Pakistan and the Philippines. According to Yahoo, these accounts supposedly made false voiceovers and thumbnails that produced indecent content connecting Jakes to Diddy.

According to the initial report by NBC News, the “AI elements have also been used to spread misinformation on videos that have the potential to make a large profit for both YouTube and their creators, by monetizing them with ads.”

This new legal battle comes during a time when Jakes recently filed a defamation suit against Duane Youngblood.

As Charisma News reported, Jakes filed a 20-page lawsuit against Youngblood who claimed during a Larry Reid Live interview that Jakes attempted to “groom and sexually abuse him.” Youngblood later went on the Larry Reid Live show again to do a follow-up interview about Jakes.

The Cambridge Dictionary awarded the word “manifest” to be the word of the year for 2024. They define manifest as “To show something clearly, through signs or actions,” “to appear or become clear,” “to use methods such as help you imagine achieving something you want, in the belief that doing so will make it more likely to happen,” or “easily noticed or obvious.”

Manifesting, according to modern society, is to place your own will and desires above anyone else’s. In essence, it forces a person to have close contact with the demonic in order to gain by their own will and way what they desire most.

In an interview with Charisma Media, Alan DiDio talked about how we may see more demonic manifestation in the coming year. However, he provides a wonderful caveat: What if the church grasped that word to see the manifestation of the Holy Spirit come to life?

Manifestation does not have to be rooted in demonic greed and selfishness. Manifestation is a principle that, like others, Satan took and twisted for his own evil purposes. Yet, true biblical manifestation does exist.

First Corinthians 12:7 reads: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to everyone for the common good.”

God desires to manifest the presence of His Holy Spirit in our lives now and forever. As Bishop DiDio told Charisma, he believes this is the year that we can see the manifestation of all of God’s promises that He has made to us come to pass. There’s a reason that we pray for God to work “on earth as it is in heaven.” This is because His promises are true and never failing.

Second Corinthians 1:20 reads: “For all the promises of God in Him are ‘Yes’ and in Him ‘Amen’ to the glory of God through us.”

Everything that God intended for us, every bit of His heavenly glory that He desires to bring to earth, is a ‘yes’ promise in Him.

While manifesting is a term that the world knows by the evil forces that have twisted it, it does not have to be this way. When we trust the Lord with His plans, purposes and ultimate will for our lives, standing on His truth, then we are walking by faith and not by sight nor by our own strength.

Stinson says this place also held great significance for temple sacrifices as well.

“So in this place,” Stinson says, “Solomon went and he had made a facility of pure limestone running from east the west, just like the tabernacle tent, same size as the tabernacle tent, divided like the tabernacle tent with an outer court, a holy place and a holy of holies, and in that place is where these special Lambs of God were raised up for one year before they would be taken to the temple, both the Passover Lamb…[and] the Yom Kippur lambs were raised in this place.”

Stinson says through his relationships with archaeologists in the land, he’s had the opportunity to take many pastors to the fields of Bethlehem where Solomon held these great responsibilities. Here he says is the place where the manger of Jesus Christ can be located.

“…the actual manger, which was made of stone and by the way, it’s a double manger because it has two animals you’re raising, so the double manger was found there in this exact place, so it’s the place that confirms what the Bible tells us about this extraordinary event of angels coming and saying to the shepherds, which are priestly shepherds, ‘Be happy, be joyful for unto you is born the One that is going to bring salvation to the world,'” Stinson says.

Stinson explains that what would happen at the time of the sacrifice is that the perfect lamb would be taken, wrapped in swaddling cloths to make sure no blemishes or harm would come to the lamb until the time for the sacrifice came. In a similar way, Christ, who is the perfect Lamb of God, was wrapped in swaddling cloths when He was born.
