In a recent video, apostle Richard Lorenzo Jr. sat down with Remnant Revival Outreach Center’s senior pastor, Carlos Cabrera to talk about his testimony from being a gang member dealing with demonic entities to becoming a man full of the Holy Spirit’s fire and power.

Cabrera recounts his upbringing in Orlando and how the choice as a teenager to go under his cousin’s wing led him to a dark time of gang activity that brought witchcraft to life.

“Everybody was ganged up,” Cabrera says. “And if you didn’t have a gang…[you] would just not have people to protect you.”

After getting attacked by another guy, Cabrera decided to move forward with joining the gang. However, he had no idea what kinds of things he would be opening himself up to.

He says that the gang he was part of used hand signals, knowledge and would write down codes. They would even fast. He even points out that the acronym “folks” that was used stands for “for our lord king Satan.”

“I was in a whole [gang] worshipping the devil pretty much,” he says. “They wore the beads. The beads had to get men do a lot of like the labor, the guns and the drug deal and everything. But the women what they do is a lot of witchcraft. The women would be all beaded up and they would be doing protection on you when you go would bless you, and they would make sure that you were good and that you’re not going to go to jail and that you’re not going to get robbed, packages are going to get pushed through.”

Lorenzo points out that this witchcraft is similar to his own testimony when he was in Santeria and Voodoo, which required wearing beads blessed by a witch.

This opening to the demonic was just the start of the kinds of encounters Cabrera was about to experience.

“I would have conversations in the mirror with myself and I hear a voice being like, ‘Let me take over,'” Cabrera recounts. “I remember my eyelids would go black.”

One of the terrifying experiences that Cabrera had included levitating in the darkness with one of his friends as his friend became possessed while taking psychedelics.

“I look at him and we’re both levitating in the darkness,” Cabrera says. “All I could see was his his eyes were all white. And then he starts to speak, and he was whispering.”

Cabrera says the person said, “You know why I’m here,” and suddenly he started talking about Cabrera’s rapping ability and how the two of them together could “have it all.” Every time that the person would speak, Cabrera had a visualization of of everything that was being talked about: money, fame, happiness and drugs.

“He’s like, ‘You can have all that tomorrow. Just come with me.’ He’s like, ‘You have a choice,'” Cabrera says.

Thinking about his family, Cabrera said no to the demonic offer. After this, the person began to get incredibly angry with him, intensifying in his words. He said no to this offer three times, and finally the two came out of the trance.

After these experiences, Cabrera ended up meeting with his uncle who gave him a Bible and advised him to throw away any of his possessions that had to do with the demonic. He also began going to church and seeking the Lord.

“I would just read the Bible and I would just pray,” says Cabrera.

While Cabrera’s journey was still a long one ahead in need of discipleship and full submission to the Lord, God was already on the move, making a way for him to become more and more like Christ. His testimony goes to show that God can transform, heal and deliver anyone from any darkness, breaking strongholds and releasing people from every demonic force and principality. Now as Cabrera is used in the pastoral role, God is showing His ability to work through anyone’s past to bring others to Jesus.

Renowned prophet Chuck Pierce shared powerful insights for 2025, emphasizing that it will be a year marked by both grace and conflict. Pierce says the night before the election, the Lord woke him up at 3:00 a.m. Prior to going to sleep, Pierce asked the Lord if He could show him anything beyond the year 2026 since God had previously given him insight into the years leading up to 2026.

“He woke me up these words to me: ‘Hezekiah, extend time,'” says Pierce. “And at 4:00 a.m. I got a call from Israel, and the person on the other line said, ‘The Lord told me to call you from Israel and say He is speaking Hezekiah to you.'”

Pierce says God then took him to a Scripture from Isaiah that spoke to him about what the next three years would be like into 2027.

“We are moving in an extended time frame of grace,” Pierce says.

Looking at 2025, Pierce also prophesied a year of both abundant grace and intense conflict. While God’s grace will be poured out in a powerful way, believers must also remain vigilant, keeping the light of Christ burning brightly. Pierce described 2025 as a time to stay spiritually alert, with grace being multiplied to empower believers to fulfill their God-given purposes.

“God’s people have to keep their lampstand burning this year,” says Pierce. “Without that, without having the oil, the anointing, you’re going to get really confused in the year ahead.”

Are you trying to fast but are struggling to do so?

In a livestream on fasting, Vlad Savchuk discussed five practical strategies to help you during a biblical fast.

1. Instead of eating, take the time to dive into the Word of God.

This is perhaps the biggest and most crucial piece of a biblical fast. Taking the time that you normally would spend eating and replacing it with consuming God’s Word is vital.

“It is normal to feel, when you read the Word of God in the beginning stage of your fasting, to feel distracted, to feel lack of focus, to feel tired, to feel even nauseous, dizzy,” Savchuk says. “You can actually listen to the can still read the Word because you must understand that, as you’re pushing through this, your spirit is getting stronger.”

2. Use wisdom and rest up.

“You want to stay hydrated with water and light electrolytes. Avoid dehydration so the hunger pains will subside as you stay hydrated,” says Savchuk.

Savchuk also notes that a person going through a fast must be patient as they deal with detox symptoms. He also encourages light activity like prayer walking for engagement without overexerting oneself.

3. Remove distractions around you so you can focus on the Lord’s voice.

Savchuk encourages viewers to take the opportunity to remove anything that would hinder them from hearing the voice of God, including excessive entertainment consumption.

“I really think nothing can hurt your fasting more than when you obsessively consume entertainment while you’re fasting,” Savchuk says. “It distracts you because yes, it can numb you for a second from the hunger pains, but you didn’t go into a fast to get numb; you went into a fast to really nurture your relationship with God.”

4. Fast with humility before God, not to be seen by man.

“It’s very important that you keep your fasting private unless accountability is needed,” says Savchuk. “Fasting with a sincere heart to draw near to God brings a reward. The moment fasting is done for external approval, you forfeit the reward.”

The goal of fasting isn’t to boast to others what we are doing; instead, it is to seek the Lord’s close embrace.

5. Push through, relying on the grace of the Lord throughout the fast.

The only way any of us can accomplish a fast is to do so with perseverance, keeping our eyes centered on Christ.

“Everything we do is through the grace of God, through the strength of God. While perseverance and pushing through is required, you must come to the end of yourself and say, ‘Lord, I am going to give my best, but I lean on your grace,'” he says.

As the United States and the entire world prepares for the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, there’s another massive event we can anticipate: the aligning of seven planets.

In January 2025, a notable celestial event is occurring: six planets—Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus—are aligning in the evening sky. This alignment, often referred to as a “planetary parade,” offers a spectacular sight for stargazers.

Nearly six months after Gateway Church dealt with the ripples of the Robert Morris scandal, elders have been working to find a new senior pastor. While the hunt for the right pastor has gone on longer than expected, Max Lucado and Joakim Lundqvist have agreed to stay as interim pastors during this transitional time at Gateway.

In a statement to WFAA, the church said: “Gateway Church is actively searching for a new pastor. Joakim Lundqvist and Max Lucado will continue to serve in their roles as teaching pastors while Gateway searches for the right candidate to lead us as executive pastor.”

According to the Christian Post, Lundqvist announced to the Gateway congregation that he would continue to stay with the church through the springtime.

“You know, initially, I committed to staying behind here and being with you all for this year and to the end of the year, which is pretty much now, but I was asked to extend,” he said. “So Maria and I are actually going to be spending the whole spring with you all until the end of June.”

Lundqvist reportedly said that this decision was “one of the easiest” because of how much he cares about Gateway.

“…when the elders asked, it was one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made because we love this house and we sense the presence of God upon this church,” Lundqvist said.

In a message by Mike Thompson, he explains why three dates related to the 2024 election are not only culturally and politically important, but why they have a greater spiritual significance as well.

“The very first one is already passed, but that is Nov. 5, 2024; that is election day,” Thompson says. “On that day, something broke, and that’s the spiritual, that’s the prophetic significance of was a time of breakthrough when there was a breaking of the ruling political spirit of Jezebel, Antichrist, idolatry and it’s hold over America.”

Thompson believes there was a blanket of darkness that was broken off of America on this day. He also believes that Jan. 6 was another key date for America, which is when the election was certified.

“That confirmation is important because that’s what brings about prophetically the agreement between heaven and earth,” says Thompson. “The agreement between God and man, the government.”

Lastly, Thompson believes Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, will also have a heavenly significance to it as well.

“At that point, there’s a release of the anointing,” says Thompson. “The anointing of God that comes upon [Trump] and a release of what was broken on Nov. 5, confirmed on Jan. 6 and now released on Jan. 20.”

“They are the dates that align with the way that God is going to release everything that He has for us in this nation,” he continues. “It’ll be felt all around the world. There’s going to be radical prosperity, radical evangelism, just so much more that is being released into our nation.”

In a recent message, Jenny Weaver explained the importance of not looking back, but rather how to live and move forward with Christ.

“There’s only two times that Jesus tells us to remember someone,” Weaver says. “There’s one time that Jesus says to ‘do this in remembrance of me,’ He’s talking about Himself. He says you need to take communion and take the Lord’s Supper to remember me, and then the other time, the second time that He says remember somebody, He says ‘remember Lot’s wife.'”

Lot’s wife is remembered in Genesis for turning into a pillar of salt after she discarded the warnings of the heavenly angels not to look back at the wicked Sodom and Gomorrah while she and her family were fleeing from its destruction. This points to God as holy and righteous, a divine being who has the right to correct and discipline anything that is not of Him or His nature.

“The Jesus that the world is preaching, and even the church is teaching, is the Jesus that’s just love and doesn’t discipline His children,” says Weaver.

Weaver points out that oftentimes, Christians today refuse to share their biblical beliefs because they don’t want to offend anyone. However, if we do not tell others the truth of the gospel, we are ultimately watching them walk toward the path of eternal destruction.

“We are so worried about hurting people’s feelings that people are dying and going to hell all around us,” says Weaver. “We’ve got to get the church stronger. Our voice has to be loud and unified. We are not going to stay silent any longer. 2025, upward and onward in Jesus’ name.”

As God calls His people to holiness, this is not a time to look back at how things used to be. Instead, it’s the moment to look forward to the Lord and His righteousness and glory. This year is the time to let go of the past, embrace Christ and His ways and move into the new things He has for you.

“If you’re going to go forward in 2025, you got to stop lingering you’ve got to stop lingering in the past years.”

Carlson has publicly shared his thoughts on faith and spirituality in the past, especially after publicly describing his experience of being mauled by a demon.

[I was] physically mauled…by a demon,” Carlson said for the “Christianities” documentary. “Or by something unseen that left claw marks on my sides.”

As someone who has encountered the supernatural, Carlson sees the validity that unidentified objects and strange sightings aren’t just happenstance. There is something darker happening behind the scenes.

“There have been so many sightings in this country and around the world, that if they were from another galaxy far, far away there would be some satellite evidence of that. They’d be picked up coming into our atmosphere, and of course that’s not [the case],” says Carlson.

“It’s clear that these things reside deep in the earth, under the water and in the atmosphere,” he says. “I do think all the puzzle pieces are sort of in plain sight.”

Christian author, L.A Marzulli, has repeatedly warned people against viewing these beings as harmless. Instead, he believes that we could very well be dealing with demonic forces such as the Nephilim. These fallen angels have been prophetically declared in the book of Daniel in the end times to have hybrid children with humans, showing the depravity of the world. As the the world continues to grow darker, and biblical prophecy continues to come to fruition, this is a warning we should heed.

“They’re soulless. They’re not human. They’re part human but they’re soulless. Only God can give you a soul and they’re looking for a soul,” Marzulli says of Nephilim hybrids.

No matter what kind of spiritual entities there may be trying to stir up issues in our world today, there is no power or principality greater than the ultimate power and authority of Christ alone. At the end, every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.

In a recent prophetic word, Troy Black shared a word of encouragement and warning concerning Inauguration Day.

Black believes that following Inauguration Day, it will become obvious how the Lord wants the church to specifically rise up in prayer for those who have been tried unfairly, and misjudged due to fear. Black also predicts that Inauguration Day will bring about a type of reconciliation politically as well.

As we inch closer to Inauguration Day, take this prophecy, and any prophetic word that you hear, into prayer and seek the Lord for discernment. Pray also that reconciliation prophesied about in the church and across the nation would be able to happen in a way that honors and glorifies the Lord.
