In a move that no one ever expected to happen, President Trump announced that the U.S. would take over the Gaza Strip, shocking the world and bringing hope to the Israelis.

Now, prophetic voice rabbi Jason Sobel shared with Charisma Media how Trump’s decision could directly relate to a biblical prophecy written thousands of years ago.

“…in Zephaniah 2:4 [it reads]: ‘For Gaza will be abandoned. Ashkelon will be a wasteland,'” Sobel says. “He says, ‘I will destroy you, and none will be left. The land by the sea will become pastures, having wells for shepherds and pens for flocks. The land will belong to the remnant of the people Judah, where they will find pasture.'”

Sobel points out the uncanny comparison between this Scripture and ultimately what it is that Trump plans on doing.

“Gaza abandoned. That’s basically what Trump is saying that the Palestinians need to abandon Gaza; it’s not safe,” he says. “I can’t tell you with 100% certainty that this prophecy is being fulfilled in this way, but it’s certainly something that we need to keep our eyes on.”

Sobel further notes that the war of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 and 39 can only happen under a specific condition.

“The war of Gog and Magog [in] Ezekiel 38 and 39 only comes while Israel is living securely in the land, in cities with no walls. I would say that has never existed…in history or in the modern state of Israel, even in the modern state of Israel.”

Sobel also points to the prophetic instance of cyclical Torah readings, which have been connected to major events in history. The Torah reading for this week in itself has an interesting connection to what took place when Trump made his announcement.

“This week’s Torah portion is talking about the Philistines. The Palestinians call themselves the Philistines,” Sobel says.

In a recent prophetic update, prophet Tomi Arayomi shared a compelling revelation regarding a “great purge” coming to government institutions.

 “The purge is a prophecy that the Lord released to me in the House of Representatives,” Arayomi says.

In the prophecy, Arayomi heard about a coming “purge” that the media would shout about. This of course already has started as the new Trump administration has gone forward purging DEI policies and corruption from varying departments in the government.

This shaking is not limited to the U.S. In fact, Arayomi prophesied that shaking would come to America’s border nations as well. Canada, too, is experiencing divine intervention. A previous prophecy from 2022 also indicates that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau would step down, and recent developments suggest this word soon may be fulfilled.

“Canada, it’s a new season. I am raising up new and righteous leader over you and I am shifting kings,” Arayomi’s prophecy says. “I saw Canada’s leader departing. Not sure if it was just his election term or whether it had finished or it came to an abrupt end.”

While great change has already begun in the United States and Canada, Arayomi also prophesied in 2024 that the time for change on the Mexican border is on its way.

“I believe Mexico is in a crucial in pivotal time and the Lord has a word over the nation. The Spirit of God says, ‘Tell Mexico that…I’m calling for a people and a movement of life that will challenge and defeat the altars of death. For in a day you will hear it and suddenly the Lord says the sound of revival shall spring forth in Mexico and the worship of life will replace the worship of death.”

This shaking, as Arayomi puts it, will come with an arrest of the major cartels in the nation.

“I saw that President Trump and his administration would take the strongest stance that any American president had ever taken on drug smuggling in the nation’s history….I looked to the border in the south and saw a great river that flowed separating the United States from Mexico. In a message to Glory of Zion International, prophetic voice Chuck Pierce discussed what the Lord is asking of His people during this era of war.

This element of faith is especially crucial in a year like 2025, which Pierce points out will be a time of battle.

“This year, we are in a battle for the high places,” Pierce says. “You always have to use your faith key. In a year of speaking, in an era filled with change…we prophesy according to our faith.”

This era of battle, when faith and prayer are key, aligns with prophetic voice Joseph Z’s take on 2025, especially in regard to the first portion of the year.

“…I got a witness in my spirit that said, ‘If we can go through quarter one and quarter two of this coming year without a nuclear incident, or even if there’s a small nuclear incident we can still have the grace of God get us over that…if we get to July without a nuclear incident, without some of these things taking down the nation, I believe we’re going to see the turn of the tide completely,” Joseph Z told Charisma Media.

Some of the top prophetic voices have spoken about the direct, biblical connections occurring right now as President Trump announced his plans for the U.S. to take over the Gaza Strip.

Pastor Mike Signorelli of V1 Church spoke on this issue during a livestream, pointing out how this echoes the wars and rumors of wars that we see spoken about in Scripture.

“The Bible’s filled with warnings about wars, rumors of wars, battles over Israel and its surrounding territories,” Signorelli says.

Signorelli points to Luke 21:24, which reads, “Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled,” which just may be in the process of coming to completion. While we cannot know for certain if this is what is happening, it does appear to be a potential sign of the end times.

Since the creation of Israel as a nation, we’ve seen the Israeli people returning to their homeland, just as the Bible says will happen during the end times.

“Could Gaza and Trump’s involvement be part of this larger prophetic timeline that is going to draw people back?” Signorelli asks.

Amanda Grace also sounded the alarm on this event, relating it back to the books of Isaiah and Daniel.

“Daniel chapter 9 verse 25 [reads], ‘So you are to know and understand that from the issuance of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of the Messiah, the prince. There will be seven weeks of years, and 62 weeks of years. It will be built again with a city, a plaza and a moat, even in times of trouble,'” she says.

Pastor Troy Brewer also chimed in on Trump’s command to overtake Gaza, comparing it to the book of Joshua.

“I’ve been saying, number one, this is a Joshua chapter five moment,” Brewer says. “God Almighty is showing up saying, ‘I’m here to take over’.”

Brewer says that ultimately what we see happening in these times is God preparing to take over and do what only He can do. Just as Brewer says that this is the year of the window where the Lord invades in spaces and transforms things, we are seeing this type of act come to pass at this very moment.

While the president is wildly popular with people across the world, there are also those who despise him vehemently. With two attempts that happened against his life last year, he knows the reality of how many enemies he also has. Case in point, today there are protests taking place against Trump in all 50 states organized by the 50501 Movement. Perhaps one of the most fascinating and perplexing pieces of history is the account of Noah and the flood.

Yet, one of the key questions that could be asked about this event is: why are there no remaining human fossils from this scenario?

In an recent video, David Rives Ministries gave a plausible, scientific explanation about why we do not see human remains from this event, and how the flood of Noah’s day helps to debunk the theory of evolution.

According to the Bible, the entire human population was wiped out during the catastrophic flood except for Noah and his family. Yet, despite extensive fossil discoveries—ranging from marine life in Tennessee backyards to dinosaurs encased in rock across Colorado, Germany and Argentina—human fossils remain scarce.

Rives explains that the sequence of events during the flood provides a logical answer.

“The first thing to get buried would have been the sea creatures in the pre-flood oceans, becoming trapped in the mud,” Rives says. “Humans obviously don’t live down in the swamp land so they already would have been living higher than the pre-flood level. But you can bet that when the water began to rise they would have climbed as high as they could, floated as long as possible, maybe they even survived a short while by grabbing onto floating logs or driftwood.”

Rives points out that this means humans would have likely been scattered on the surface of the water, so there would be no opportunity for human remains to become buried under the surface of the earth.

He says the majority of human remains found today are dated after the flood. However, this is key, pointing to us being created, and not evolving from another creature.

“If modern humans have been evolving from ape-like ancestors for the past few million years, then there’s a giant problem. In fact, there should be at least five billion individuals who have lived and died over that time and that means that the fossil record should show millions of skeletons of humans and almost human remains. Guess what we find? A couple of bags of bones.”

Rives points out that the lack of evidence of these ape-like beings existing, including in records prior to the flood, is one of the reasons we do not see evolutionary theorists look at the fossil record; it directly shows the error of evolution.

Carlson considers the modern Episcopalian church to be “totally non-Christian” and “pagan.”

This point gives oodles of context of what we’ve been seeing in recent years in the modern church. Instead of following biblical principles, many churches have fallen into the idolatry of the world, seeking the approval of humans instead of God. Let’s pray for churches who are leading people astray, that they would repent and come to Christ, changing their heart and ways.

Cahn further points out that one of the signs of the antichrist spirit being prevalent in the world is the state of the church.

“Apostasy is actually part of the preliminary of leading to the Antichrist. It’s the buildup,” Cahn says. “When the watchmen are apostate, there’s nothing saving that city. And when God’s ministers or people who are supposed to be the ministers are in apostasy…you know these are the last days.”
