In a raw and revealing conversation, Pastor Mike Signorelli and former Hillsong leader Carl Lentz opened up about the reality of spiritual warfare, deliverance and the strongholds that often take root in the minds of believers—even those in leadership.

The Battle for the Mind

Lentz and Signorelli emphasized the importance of recognizing the enemy’s tactics, particularly when it comes to strongholds in our thinking. While many believers are quick to identify external manifestations of demonic oppression, the more subtle, internal battles—doubt, shame, addiction and deception—often go unchecked.

“It’s not like people who believe in therapy don’t discount the supernatural,” says Lentz. “If you’re really tuned in supernaturally, you’ll be in a therapist office because you know what you need.”

Signorelli makes a valid point that even with knowing about spiritual warfare, God’s people can still go astray.

“I knew all about deliverance and spiritual warfare and still cheated on my wife,” says Signorelli. “Still became an alcoholic, still stepped out of ministry.”

He also makes the point that an understanding of both the supernatural and mental health are necessary for a well-rounded life.

“You can’t counsel a demon, but you can’t cast out a mental issue,” says Signorelli. “It’s cruelty to tell somebody it’s a demon when they need counseling. It’s actually cruelty because I was subjected to that unbalanced, bad theology.”

Overcoming Strongholds of the Mind

Deliverance, the two agreed, is not just about casting out demons—it’s about breaking cycles of deception and bringing lasting transformation.

“There’s this beautiful place to get to where it’s like, ‘Now, I’m a child of God, I love Jesus, I know God has a plan for my life, and because of that, I can then go pursue the things that God has opened up for me to get help,'” says Lentz.

Lentz believes that the combination of focusing on both the spiritual and the mental wellbeing of people is the way we will see true revival happen within the body of Christ.

“God is kind with the way that He will unwind truth you need to see if you can sit there long enough to let Him do it,” Lentz says.

Some of the other items notes that Trump does through business deals include “maximizing” his options, using his leverage and fighting back. These principles are some of the same ones that Trump is using to bring about order back to the Middle East, including in his plan for Gaza.

A Spiritual Perspective: Could This Lead to Peace?

From a Christian perspective, believers are called to be peacemakers, as Jesus Himself declared, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matt. 5:9). Even though Trump’s vision is facing opposition, could this be an unexpected step toward reconciliation in the Middle East?

While the means to bring about this peace may come in a seemingly unconventional format, is it possible that rebuilding Gaza from a crumbling of ashes could also bring about justice, restoration and the prophetic destiny of Israel and its neighbors?

Gaza’s spiritual strongholds of the Nephilim spirit are known to still be lurking around since these beings were never fully defeated by Joshua when the Israelites entered into the Promised Land. Former vice presidential running mate of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Nicole Shanahan, has shared the powerful story of how she came to Christ along with her recent baptism.

Posting on X, Shanahan described her story of how tragic loss brought her closer to God, the divine encounters she had with people to help her understand the spiritual realm and how she finally made the decision to give her life to Christ and be baptized.

(I’m still getting the hang of the lingo. Some say pastor, preacher, or minister, depending on the church—but I know Diane as a deeply faithful soul who helped guide me closer to Jesus. Shanahan says she became acquainted with Diane through her masseuse, Ade, who was a Christian that would silently pray for her during her appointments. After finally praying with her masseuse, Shanahan connected with Diane who explained the power of Jesus’ blood to save and forgive her.

Ramirez further warned that we, unfortunately, continue to see even more of this type of gossip and slander prevail in the church body where more people want to hear about exposure. He believes this will only continue to get worse as we move along in the end times.

When God calls you to something great, expect resistance.

The enemy knows that if you step into your calling, lives will change, the kingdom of darkness will lose ground and God’s power will be revealed.

One of the most dangerous snares today is the increasing influence of the occult. Practices once seen as forbidden are now mainstream, from horoscopes and crystals to witchcraft and New Age spirituality. Yet, these things are not harmless.

“Stay far away from Ouija boards,” Cahn says. “I’ve heard stories of possession that began with that.”

Cahn points out that New Age principles are all about darkness and death, an imitation of a relationship with God.

Many who dabble in these practices open doors they don’t understand—doors that lead to oppression, deception and spiritual attacks. Satan also wants to use these open doors to bring about Illness, disasters and other obstacles to keep you stuck in bondage, away from your destiny.

If he can’t lure you into sin or deception, Satan will use discouragement and fear. But as Nehemiah declared when facing opposition, “The God of heaven will give us success. We, His servants, will arise and build,” (Neh. 2:20).

If you’ve been delaying obedience, now is the time to act. If you’ve been dabbling in sin or the occult, repent and close those doors. Don’t let the enemy win—move forward in faith and watch what God will do.

In a recent prophetic message, Amanda Grace explained what she believes the Lord has shown her for 2025, including a special word about serpents, a warning for the Vatican and gold reserves in the U.S.

Grace believes right now there is a spirit of Haman lurking around the earth, which she says is partnered with the serpent. Biblically speaking, Haman was the man who plotted to have the Jewish people wiped out. It was Esther, however, who helped to save the people from that destruction. Grace also warns of a spirit of accusation that is shaking things in Europe, including a coming fracture between the Vatican and France.

“Oh France, your relationship with the Vatican is about to fracture. You make missteps, oh leadership, and a very large crack is about to come forth and shall be pulled from the depths of what has been hidden in your official buildings,” she prophesies.

Grace also says that this fracturing will happen because of the entertaining of a persecuting, lawless and Antichrist spirit. However, she believes that if the people of France turn their ways toward God, He will bring them revival.

Here in America, Grace further warns of a coming attack against our gold supply.

“An attack on the forts is coming,” she says. “They have coordinated such, forts where the gold shall expose the plans. China and Ishmael have together, says the Lord, and that snake has laid eggs. I, the Lord, shall hatch them prematurely so that offspring shall not survive.”

While these prophetic warnings for international affairs are pivotal in this time, Grace notes that we could be in for a time of great cleansing in the body of Christ, that way the Lord can restore holiness through the Esthers and Mordecais He is raising up in our day and age.

Whether it’s a shaking in Europe, the United States or within the body of Christ, the warning is clear: God is orchestrating divine reversals, exposing corruption and setting the stage for a supernatural shift.
