We were created in the image of God. But what was the cost to be eternally known and seen in that image?

In a powerful sermon, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn shared the powerful and profound journey of Scripture from the Garden of Eden to the cross, revealing how the ancient story of humanity’s fall is intricately connected to our modern-day walk with God.

The beginning of creation holds the key to understanding our lives today. In Eden, God created man in His own image—holy, beautiful and in perfect harmony with the Creator. Yet, it was in the act of disobedience, when the serpent first spoke to Eve, that the perfection of creation was shattered.

The tree of knowledge of good and evil, which seemed good in Eve’s eyes, led to death instead of life. In a moment of temptation, the eyes of Adam and Eve were opened, not in enlightenment, but in the burden of sin, guilt and shame. Now that we are in the “year of the snake,” where temptation, doubts and fears are running rampant, this message couldn’t be timed more perfectly.

As Cahn points out, the story doesn’t end with sin and death. God, in His mercy, promised redemption. Cahn explains that Jesus, the “second Adam,” came to undo what the first Adam had done. On the cross, Jesus took upon Himself the image of sin and fallenness. Though He never sinned, He chose to be “joined to our sin” on the tree of death so that we could be joined to His righteousness and life.

“You look at Messiah, you look at the cross, you’re looking at a tree of death that brings life, brings redemption,” Cahn says. “In the beginning, God created man in His own image, the image of holiness, of beauty. On the cross, man makes God into his image, the image of sin and fallenness and condemnation.”

This reversal of Eden’s curse, Cahn emphasizes, is a choice we face every day: Will we choose the tree of life, or will we choose the tree that promises pleasure and self-centeredness but leads to death?

The serpent in Eden was the embodiment of temptation and sin. Today, as we stand at a crossroads in history, the temptation to turn away from God remains as real as it was in the garden. But just as God reversed the curse through Christ, we have the opportunity to choose life—choosing the tree that offers eternal life over the tree of death.

Is there a spiritual mystery in the air?

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, Amanda Grace shared profound insights into the spiritual significance of the Purim blood moons and their connection to the destiny of America. Drawing parallels from the book of Esther, she revealed how the blood moons mark a critical two-year period of divine reversals, warning that America is facing a decree of destruction—but also promises of deliverance.

According to Grace, the Lord is highlighting Purim through two consecutive years of blood moons—Purim 2025 and Purim 2026. This rare celestial phenomenon, coupled with a blood moon during the High Holy Days in September, signals a season of both peril and redemption.

Grace likened this to the biblical account of Haman’s plot to destroy the Jewish people, which God overturned through Esther’s boldness. She emphasized that America is now in a similar Esther moment, where God is exposing and reversing the enemy’s schemes.

“We are going to see reversals in those plots,” Grace says.

Referencing John 10:10, Grace noted that the sequence of events in Esther mirrors the spiritual battle described by Jesus: “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” She explained how Haman’s decree aimed to steal from, kill and destroy the Jews—a pattern that aligns with the current assault on godly values and leadership in America. Yet, just as in Esther’s time, a divine reversal is coming.

Grace also made a striking connection to former President Donald Trump, describing how the spiritual Amalekite spirit that sought to annihilate God’s people in Esther’s day is manifesting again. She recounted how, on Purim, Trump Tower was stormed by pro-Palestinian protesters—an eerie parallel to Haman’s desire to destroy the Jews. Even the storming time of 11:49 a.m. carries prophetic significance, as Grace pointed out the “9/11” symbolism in the numbers, connecting it to a call for spiritual vigilance.

“I believe the first two years are the most crucial for the life of President Trump,” Grace says. “The Lord is warning now that there is going to be a decree of destruction and a plot going out.”

Right now is the time for believers to take action through prayer and fasting, knowing that we are in a key time of our nation’s new administration.

As the blood moons continue to mark this season, Grace’s message is clear: God is revealing His hand in the affairs of nations. Just as Esther arose for “such a time as this,” believers are called to intercede and stand for God’s purposes in America, trusting in His power to bring about divine reversals.

God’s power to transform is not bound by time, circumstances or human limitations. He can restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). He can turn mourning into dancing (Ps. 30:11). He can take what is barren and breathe life into it. No situation is too broken, no heart too hardened, no sin too great for His redeeming love.

Recognizing False Prophets

False prophets don’t always preach outright lies—they mix truth with deception.

“If you know the voice of your Father you will be able to spot the nuances in the counterfeit,” Grace says. “Kind of like how bankers can just by touching a bill and looking at it can tell whether it’s counterfeit because they have been trained to spot the best counterfeits that are out there. It’s the same way you have to go through a process of training and purification and refining to get to that point.”

She urges believers to rely on spiritual discernment and the Holy Spirit’s leading rather than emotional appeal. Too often, the modern church lacks vigilance, allowing deception to infiltrate.

Engaging in Spiritual Warfare

Grace describes today’s battle as a “Revelation War,” where believers must stand firm in prayer and truth. She shares how her latest book was a prophetic assignment, confirmed by another prophet’s dream.

“When the Lord has given you something to do,” Grace says. “You need to test it and you need to get confirmation. Sometimes the Lord will suddenly give you confirmation in His Word and that will be one of the confirmations, but He will confirm it multiple times to you and it will always be something that is going to destroy the kingdom of darkness.”

If you feel unsure whether something is from the Lord or not, Grace believes a key is to pray protection and to rebuke if it is the enemy trying to hide himself in plain sight.

Breaking Curses and Enforcing God’s Authority

Many believers also unknowingly allow negative words and spiritual attacks to take root in their lives. Grace teaches that curses can be nullified by declaring God’s Word over situations and rejecting demonic influences in Jesus’ name. The key, she says, is understanding spiritual authority. Through the name of Jesus, we’ve been given power over all the darkness of the enemy, and it is our right to walk as sons and daughters of the Lord Most High.

The path to rebuilding the Third Temple in Jerusalem is fraught with complex geopolitical challenges, the most significant of which involves the Temple Mount itself.

For Jews, it is the holiest place on earth, where the First and Second Temples once stood. For Muslims, it is home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the most revered sites in Islam. Any effort to alter the status quo of the Temple Mount would not only spark intense religious and political tensions in the region but could also lead to global conflict.

Despite these significant obstacles, there is a growing movement within Israel, especially among religious leaders, advocating for the rebuilding of the Third Temple. Plans are already in motion to prepare sacred artifacts and even begin purification rituals. But within Israel itself, opinions are deeply divided.

“This is the highest hopes have been, right now,” says Gonzales. “Because they believe Trump will defend their position  in order to do these things.”

Many view the Temple’s reconstruction as a key step in the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, while others worry about the potential fallout—both politically and socially—that could come with such a profound change.

“There’s some rabbis that are thinking it’s got to be on the Dome of the Rock, it’s got to be have our opinions but if it comes to the point where they have a level of sovereignty on the Temple Mount imagine being able to excavate,” says Gonzales.

While the geopolitical struggles are at the forefront, another vital piece of the puzzle is the red heifer. According to Jewish law, the red heifer plays a crucial role in the purification rituals needed before the Temple can be rebuilt. This rare animal must be entirely red, with no more than two non-red hairs, as described in Numbers 19. In 2022, five red heifers were brought to Israel for the first time in over two thousand years—an event that many see as a step closer to fulfilling this ancient prophecy.

The red heifer’s symbolic role, however, is only one part of a much bigger picture. For Christians, the rebuilding of the Third Temple is closely tied to eschatological beliefs about the end times. While Christians may not be actively calling for the Temple’s reconstruction, they are keenly watching these developments, seeing the red heifer as a potential sign that God’s prophetic timeline may be moving faster than expected.

As these events unfold, it’s clear that the rebuilding of the Third Temple is not just a distant dream or a theological debate—it’s a deeply real and ongoing process, one filled with both hope and uncertainty.

Rabbi Schneider pointed to rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, digital addiction and the devaluation of human relationships as clear signs that we are living in prophetic times. He warned that as AI surpasses human capabilities, the value of human life is being diminished, a troubling development that aligns with end-times deception.

“The Lord said to Daniel, ‘In the last days knowledge will greatly increase and people will be traveling to and fro,'” Schneider says. “So, Daniel was able to see thousands of years into into the future with jet travel and internet technology and ‘re living in those days right now.”

Schneider also believes that the enemy will utilize AI to be the “greatest and most powerful demon that’s been released on the earth, the demon of addiction to internet technology.”

Besides the rise of artificial intelligence, Schneider reminds listeners that the nations will ultimately turn against Israel, culminating in the battle of Armageddon. In light of this, he urged believers to remain vigilant, live righteously and place their trust in God rather than worldly preparations.

He also notes the significance of the biblical feasts in understanding God’s timeline. Jesus’ crucifixion occurred on Passover, His Resurrection on First Fruits, meaning it is possible that the rapture could align with the Feast of Trumpets. These divine appointments serve as prophetic markers for the unfolding of God’s plan.

It’s not simply enough for us to know the Scriptures, we must activate them by declaring them over our lives.

“You have weapons that have divine power. And you’ve got to know how to use those weapons,” Mullins says. “Life is first and foremost , if you are first and foremost spiritual beings, you better know how to fight spiritually against the spiritual enemy that Jesus said has come to rob, kill and destroy.”

Mullins notes that when the enemy tries to make you feel alone, hopeless or fearful, it is critical to declare God’s promises, such as “God is with me, He will never leave me or forsake me,” (Deut. 31:6) or “I am not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind,” (2 Tim. 1:7). Speaking these truths aloud shifts the atmosphere and activates faith.
