Chernobyl and the Bible: Jonathan Cahn Reveals a Shocking Prophetic Connection

In a sermon by renowned prophetic voice Jonathan Cahn, he warned how the world may be closer to the fulfillment of Revelation’s end-time prophecies than many realize.

With compelling insights, Cahn linked modern events—including nuclear threats and the Chernobyl disaster—to key apocalyptic signs described in Scripture.

The Growing Threat of Nuclear Destruction

Cahn began by highlighting a chilling reality: multiple nations now possess nuclear weapons, making mass destruction a tangible possibility for the first time in human history. With global powers like Russia, China, North Korea and Iran wielding such force, the potential for catastrophic devastation aligns with the fiery judgments described in Revelation.

Quoting Revelation 8:7, he pointed to the prophecy of a third of the earth being burned by fire, drawing a parallel to the nuclear capabilities that could fulfill such a scenario.

Chernobyl and the Wormwood Prophecy

One of Cahn’s most striking revelations centered on the Chernobyl nuclear disaster of 1986. He explained that in Russian, “Chernobyl” translates to “wormwood”—the very name given to the star in Revelation 8:10-11, which falls from the sky and poisons the waters.

Astonishingly, at the heart of Chernobyl stands the Wormwood Star memorial, depicting an angel blowing a trumpet—imagery directly from Revelation. Cahn suggested that this eerie coincidence may be a prophetic sign, foreshadowing the nuclear devastation yet to come.

“The fact that it happened in a place called Wormwood and involved poisoning of everything and was nuclear power, could that be a sign that these things, some of it, could come about nuclear destruction?” asks Cahn.

While Cahn warned against setting dates or making rigid predictions, he urged believers to be spiritually alert. The signs of the times are unfolding, and the body of Christ must be prepared for the return of the Lord.

As darkness increases, the light of Christ will shine even brighter through His people, offering redemption to a world on the brink.

He Heard the Devil Laughing, Then Jesus Stepped In

In a powerful and deeply personal testimony, Rabbi Kirt Schneider shares his harrowing journey from despair into the marvelous light of Jesus Christ. His story is one of supernatural deliverance, revealing the relentless love of God that reaches into the deepest pits of hopelessness.

Schneider recounts the chilling season of his life when he was tormented by oppressive darkness. Plagued by fear, anxiety and overwhelming depression, he vividly describes sensing the devil himself laughing at him—sadistically mocking his suffering. Trapped in a mental and spiritual abyss, he wrestled with the reality of his vulnerability and the looming fear of death.

“I literally sense[d] the devil laying over me, laughing at me and sadistically making me laugh at myself,” Schneider recounts. “In my sleep one night, I saw inside my brain and there was pitch blackness inside my head. And I understood that God was telling me that you were completely trapped, living under the darkness. But now, I’m carving out through that darkness, a way into the light, a way into me.”

A Life-Changing Encounter

But God was already carving a way out.

In 1978, at the age of 20, Schneider had a life-altering vision of Jesus. Despite having no prior Christian background—being raised in a Jewish home—he supernaturally recognized the crucified Christ. In the vision, a radiant red beam of light from heaven pierced the scene, illuminating the Messiah and filling Schneider with sudden, inexplicable hope. It was the first step in his lifelong journey of redemption.

“I knew nothing about Jesus,” says Schneider. “But when this happened to me, suddenly, I found myself in a state of supernatural awareness.”

The Battle for Freedom

However, his deliverance did not happen overnight. Schneider emphasizes that walking in the fullness of God’s light is a process that requires active partnership with the Lord. Quoting 1 Peter 2:9, he highlights that believers are called out of darkness into God’s marvelous light, but this transformation demands perseverance.

With raw honesty, he describes the battle of reprogramming his mind with God’s truth. Like an elite athlete training for victory, he immersed himself in Scripture, saturating his thoughts with the promises of God. Through consistent prayer, worship and Bible meditation, he gradually learned to discern between the voices of darkness and the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Fighting Back with Truth

Schneider encourages others battling mental oppression—whether anxiety, fear, OCD or depression—to fight back with spiritual tenacity. He speaks of resisting the lies of the enemy and actively clinging to God’s promises.

The process, he says, is gradual but life-transforming. The more Schneider himself has pursued the Lord, the more freedom he has experienced. The light of Jesus has brought him into profound freedom, identity, and purpose.

Schneider’s message is clear: no matter how deep the darkness, God’s light is greater. Through faith, persistence and the power of the Holy Spirit, true freedom is possible.

Kathryn Krick: ‘Bless Those Who Curse You’

“…bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (Matt. 5:44).

One testament of faithfulness to the Lord is by how we interact with those who have wronged us. In an inspiring behind the scenes look, Jeanntal from Five-Fold Church gave a heartwarming account of how she saw Kathryn Krick showcase the utmost humility during a time of intense spiritual warfare.

It all started on a flight to Kentucky when they received shocking news of an attack against their ministry. Another minister had launched an unwarranted and deeply hurtful assault against Krick and Five-Fold Church.

Despite everything that happened, Krick just smiled at Jeanntal on the plane. There were no words, no signs of anguish—just a calm, steady smile as she walked past. This moment marked Jeanntal in a profound way. In the midst of attack, Krick chose peace, remaining calm, refusing o allow the enemy to steal her joy or composure. It became a powerful lesson: Our emotions may tell us one thing, but we can choose to walk in peace and strength.

Later, once the two had landed and were situated in the hotel, Jeanntal says Krick did one of the most humbling things possible.

“She pulled up her phone and she pulled up the minister’s profile on one of the social media pages, and she looked at the screen and she looked at this person’s face ‘I bless you. May God bless you. I forgive you. May no harm come to you,'” says Jeanntal. “I saw her speak life over someone who was speaking death over her, death over the ministry. She did the opposite. She loved on her enemy.”

Here was a woman who had been deeply hurt by lies and attacks, yet instead of retaliating, she chose to speak life over her enemy. No defense, no argument—just pure love. Jeanntal realized this was the kind of love Jesus spoke about—love for your enemies, love that transcends mere words. It was a new level of transformation she had never seen before.

The enemy will always try to pull believers away from where God wants them to be. He will use trials, persecutions and distractions to lead us astray. But we must overcome the enemy by staying strong in faith, renewing our minds and remembering the power of God that has already touched our lives.

Revival is now. The time to rise up and testify is now. Believers must shine for His kingdom, testify of what God has done, and let the enemy be defeated through the power of their testimonies.

This One Letter Holds the Key to Ending Sin and Shame—Find Out How!

What is the secret to ending all your sin and shame?

In a powerful teaching video by rabbi Jonathan Cahn, he explores the profound connection between the Hebrew letter Tav and the cross of Jesus Christ. Through this revelation, Cahn offers a fresh and compelling perspective on how the cross serves as the ultimate point of completion in the believer’s faith and salvation.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Cahn begins by explaining that salvation isn’t about external changes or instant perfection but about becoming whole. “When you received them into your life, it wasn’t that everything changed right, it was that you changed,” he says. “Salvation is about becoming whole… He is the Tav. He completes so you become whole.”

For Cahn, the Tav represents completion—the letter that marks the finality of God’s redemptive work.

He goes on to reveal the deeper significance of the Tav in relation to the cross. “The Tav is the end, it’s the final, it’s the last, it’s the ending,” Cahn explains. “What is the cross? The cross is the ending of all things. It’s the ending of all that is old, it’s the ending of all sin. It’s the final word. It’s the finished thing.” The cross, he asserts, is the place where everything—especially sin—finds its ultimate conclusion.

For believers, the cross is not just an end but the place where sins must be brought to be truly finished. “You’ve got to bring your sins to the Tav so they can be truly ended,” he says. “Your sins were meant to be ended… your guilt and shame are meant to have their ending in the Tav in the cross.” This powerful imagery reveals that the cross offers freedom from the burden of past and present sin.

Cahn also draws attention to the Hebrew meaning of Psalm 118, which says, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.”

“He is your completion… before He was in your life, your life was never complete,” says Cahn.

Ultimately, the cross is where all things—especially your old self—are made new and whole. Are you ready to experience lasting freedom today?

Facing False Accusations? Kathryn Krick’s Jaw-Dropping Revelation on The Strang Report

Kathryn Krick, a rising leader in prophetic ministry, appeared recently on The Strang Report to discuss her journey and insights into the current spiritual climate, along with her upcoming new book, “Unlock Your Deliverance.”

As Krick’s Five-Fold church has skyrocketed in attendance over the past few years, which Krick attributes to obedience and laying down her will for God’s perfect plan for her life, she notes how God has helped her to handle criticism and opposition she has faced throughout her journey.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

“The first time that I faced the enemy working through lies, false accusations, was shocking,” she says. “When you care, when you’re really serving God and you’re carrying anointing, you have a target on your back. The devil has a target on your back. You’re doing the most damage to his kingdom when you carry the power of God.

“But the Lord has strengthened me. He’s helped me. He’s taught me a lot. One thing He has taught me is about picking up our cross. He’s taught me in His Word, how He reveals to us we will have persecution. He reveals to us that we will be He says, ‘Blessed are you who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake.”

Krick also asserts that these trials are part of the cost of the anointing and what it means to be a disciple of Christ. For Krick, that has included dealing with scammers and impersonators who use her identity. This is something she says she uses vigilance with, warning others on her livestreams not to fall prey to these fake accounts.

“They’ll use my name and picture, have these fake profiles, and they’ll direct message people saying it’s me, that you need to sow a seed to an orphanage in order to have this attack from the enemy not happen to you,” she reveals.

Krick says dealing with the scammers and impersonators has been key for learning how to die to self and her ego, to lead the life and ministry she believes is a call on her life. She further discusses how proper stewardship and generosity is a call that we have been given to see the captives set free.

“In the Word it says, ‘freely you have received, freely give.’ So, for every minister and every believer we should never be charging someone to pray for them,” Krick explains. “When we cast demons out and heal the sick, that is a free gift that God is giving to the people through us, and we give to the people our time and our efforts and our ministry.”

Working hand-in-hand with the proper stewardship necessary for biblical ministry includes seeing the fruit of true ministers and prophets of the gospel.

“The first part is the character, the fruit of the Holy Spirit in a believer or minister’s life,” says Krick. “Fruit of the Holy Spirit; they should be Christ-like, they should be patient, generous, they should be loving, not just to those who are kind to them, but to their enemies. They should be peaceful. They should be slow to anger, not angry, not judgmental, but instead giving people the benefit of the doubt, not quick to judge but letting God be the judge, being full of joy and sacrificing of themselves…”

The second item of evidence in a minister’s life, Krick says, should be the fruit of the ministry itself. She believes that the biblical command to cast out demons and heal the sick are vital, and even more important, is the testimonies that come out of those who have been set free.

“We should be looking at the testimonies. That’s how you know if true fruit in a minister’s life,” says Krick. “It’s so important we take the Word seriously and just look at the fruit.”

Above all, Krick calls for Christians to surrender fully to God, following the biblical principles to cast out demons, heal the sick and proclaim the Word of God.

“Jesus has come to destroy the works of the devil. And so so many people are struggling with things, addiction, depression, anxiety, tormenting dreams, insomnia, many sicknesses, mental disorders,” says Krick. “All of these things the root is demonic oppression and deliverance is what is needed, the casting out of demons. Many believers need deliverance, and so that’s why the Lord’s led me to write this book, to share with people how to be set free.”

Greg Laurie: Can Disney Find Its Way Back to Its Roots?

For nearly a century, Disney has been synonymous with magic, wonder and timeless storytelling. Its first full-length animated feature, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” released in 1937, was more than a technical marvel, it was a cultural milestone.

In a new video, Pastor Greg Laurie discussed Disney’s remake of “Snow White,” which has stirred up controversy because of the themes displayed in it that differ from the original film.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Laurie believes this rendition of the classic film misses the mark. The new version, starring Rachel Zegler, abandons the original’s themes of romance, redemption and moral triumph. Zegler dismissed the 1937 classic as “extremely dated” and criticized its depiction of love, calling the prince’s pursuit of Snow White “weird.” The remake instead focuses on female empowerment, replacing the iconic song “Someday My Prince Will Come” with “Waiting on a Wish”—a modern anthem of self-sufficiency.

Laurie argues that stripping away the love story robs the film of its deeper, symbolic meaning. The original story was more than a fairy tale—it was a moral fable, echoing biblical truths. Snow White’s resurrection from her death-like sleep by the prince mirrors the Christian hope of redemption, paralleling Christ’s victory over sin and death. Replacing this message with a self-reliant narrative undermines the timeless values the story once conveyed.

Yet, Laurie sees a glimmer of hope. For the first time in two decades, Disney has introduced an openly Christian character. In the animated series “Win or Lose” on Disney+, one of the characters offers a heartfelt prayer.

Laurie views this as a small but meaningful step—an acknowledgment that faith still holds a place in storytelling.

“I want to believe that Disney can find it’s way back to what it was meant to be,” says Laurie. “If there’s any chance of that happening, the best thing Disney today could do is return to the roots of its founder to stories that celebrate family, virtue and faith.”

Will Disney give up its wokeness and turn around for the good? We will just have to wait and see.

Mike Thompson: God is Revealing This Urgent Message for America!

The Lord is still speaking to His people today in supernatural ways.

In a recent video, prophetic minister Mike Thompson shared about a powerful angelic visitation he had that offers a divine perspective on current global leadership and the battle for righteousness.

During a time of prayer and worship, Thompson described how the spiritual realm opened before him, allowing him to hear a profound conversation between three angels.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

According to Thompson, the first angel declared that heavenly forces are actively engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of the United States and Israel. The angel revealed that President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are modern-day King Davids, battling against the “Philistines” of this era, representing the forces of evil opposing God’s purposes.

The second angel affirmed that the hand of God is upon Trump and Netanyahu, commissioning them to decree righteousness from the highest offices of their lands. Thompson emphasized that their leadership, though controversial, is divinely appointed.

The third angel shifted the focus to the role of believers, proclaiming that the “redeemed of the Lord” must also decree righteousness into the spiritual realm.

“The battle is the Lord’s, but the victory belongs to His saints,” says Thompson.

Looking ahead, Thompson prophesied a coming “Golden Era”—a season of spiritual and technological advancement. He likened it to the golden age of Israel under King David and the prophet Samuel, a time of unprecedented prosperity and divine favor.

As the battle intensifies, Thompson calls the body of Christ to rise in strength, wielding their spiritual authority with boldness. The victory is already ours. Are you ready to claim the prosperous future God so desires to give you and our nation?

Radical Truth About Living in Christ’s Reality, And Why It Matters

“It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me,” (Gal. 2:20).

When we say “yes” to Jesus everything changes. In a profound new teaching, Rabbi Kirt Schneider discusses why Christians are now to live in a different reality, ascending to one guided and directed by God’s perfect light instead of the encroaching darkness of this world.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Each of us experiences life uniquely, shaped by our own reality. But as we grow in the spirit, we slowly break free from the strongholds that once bound us.

For some, like Rabbi Kirt Schneider, that stronghold was anger. At first, the anger seemed justified—fueled by blame and self-righteousness. But as the Holy Spirit brought conviction, he recognized the need to resist. Through spiritual warfare, he gained strength. With each battle won, he walked into deeper peace, greater love and brighter light.

“I had to build strength in the Spirit by resisting,” says Schneider. “God has called you and I out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

Jesus calls us to be overcomers. Revelation declares that those who conquer will inherit God’s promises. This is no passive faith—it is a daily battle against the world, the flesh, and the enemy. Yet, with every step forward, our perception of reality changes as we experience more of God’s presence.

As we overcome, we are transformed, reflecting more of Christ. So, press on with boldness—there is always more of His glorious light ahead.
