Before the event, we prayed that this would be one of the greatest Harvest Crusades in our history—and God did exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think.

As Brooke Ligertwood led in worship, the field filled with people responding to the gospel, and I had the privilege of leading them in what we often call the sinner’s prayer.

It was truly a holy moment.

As the entity advanced, tendrils of it reached out toward him—one touching his tongue. The sensation, Whitaker said, was like a powerful electric shock that left him paralyzed. In that terrifying moment, unable to move or speak clearly, something inside him rose up. He managed to say, “The Lord is holy.” At that declaration, the darkness reacted violently. It instantly flattened out and exited the room in a flash, as if repelled by the holiness of God’s name.

Still shaken the next day, Whitaker shared the event with Christian friends, who believed it may have been a form of spiritual retaliation. Earlier during his trip, he had boldly refused to participate in a local Shiva festival and had instead told a young Indian boy, “Remember Jesus.” It was a seemingly innocent comment, but one that could have stirred spiritual opposition in a region steeped in strong religious traditions.

The spiritual tension didn’t end there. The following day, while washing his hands at a seaside restaurant, Whitaker heard an unnatural growling sound emanating from a dead palm tree behind him. With no one else around and no animals in sight, he spoke against it, and the noise stopped.

In another moment of supernatural intervention, Whitaker shared how he once heard a voice while driving tell him to slow down. Seconds later, a herd of deer darted across the road—an accident narrowly avoided. These experiences, he believes, underscore the reality of spiritual warfare and divine protection for believers.

After making it to the hospital, DJ continued to recover. However, what happened next startled his family even more than the incident itself. He began to the hospital nurse that he had gone to heaven.

DJ said that while he was in heaven, he was given instructions. “God said, ‘go back.'” He mimicked the singing of the angels that he heard as well. Reportedly, he wants to be called “Avir” now, which is a Hebrew word for “air.”

Cahn pointed out that before he was in ministry, he did not receive much opposition. However, as he started to grow in ministry, he started to face more criticism and greater attacks. Then, when he started writing books, he noticed a pattern of facing attacks on the release date of his books. While writing “The Dragon’s Prophecy,” he noted that he also dealt spiritual warfare prior to its release. From hurricanes and floods in his church, to mysterious health issues and break-ins from thieves, Cahn has experienced an array of spiritual battles while trying to do the Lord’s work.

“Every single attack, I couldn’t believe it because they were saying, ‘He’s preaching replacement theology.’ What? I am Jewish. I [would] have to replace myself with myself,” Cahn said of the criticism he received. “It also says the enemy comes in like a we’re having the flood, thieves break in.”

“It’s real, but there’s always been victory,” he continues. “It’s always been victory. It didn’t stop anything. That’s the thing; you’ve got to keep going.”

“Everything stopped,” O’Donnell says. “And I literally saw like this video replay of my life. Every person I hurt. Everything I did to ruin my life. And then I saw this picture of my mom and the pain I put my mom started weeping like, ‘What have I done to my life?'”

Then, O’Donnell describes a miraculous sense of peace come upon the shed in that moment.

” I’ve felt deep depression. I’ve felt darkness. I’ve felt pain. And I’ve felt all kinds of things in my life. I’ve felt happiness, but I never felt anything like this. This overwhelming peace almost illuminated the shed came upon me. And I just looked up and I said, ‘God, this has to be you.’ And I said, ‘God, I don’t know what to do. All I know is I can’t handle this. And if You’re real, and You could get me out of this mess and make it all go away, I’ll give you my life.'”

The man that O’Donnell shot ended up living, and he was two years in prison, something he felt grateful for compared to a life sentence. Receiving a Bible and a cellmate who told O’Donnell about the gospel, his life changed forever from death to life.

“Try your feet out,” Lorenzo said. To her amazement, the pain dropped from a 20 to a one. “They really feel better. They were hurting, and they feel better,” Kathy testified. Beyond the physical healing, Kathy experienced spiritual restoration. She prayed aloud, “Jesus, I repent. I give my life back to You.” Lorenzo revealed that God had sovereignly led them to that gas station. “I haven’t even been here 24 hours. The Holy Spirit said, ‘Stop. Turn. Go to this gas station.’ I don’t even need gas.”

Kathy, now tearful and visibly touched, rejoiced in her healing and deliverance, declaring, “Jesus wins… and the devil lose[s] all the time.”
