The Trump-Putin Summit held in Anchorage, Alaska was long awaited by the entire world in hopes of a peace agreement to end the Russia and Ukraine war. However, the meeting ended without a solid peace deal. Here’s three takeaways we learned following the meeting.

1. Trump and Putin came together with the hopes of bringing peace to the world.

The meeting between the two leaders began with a handshake at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, walking along a red carpet. The meeting began at approximately 3:30 p.m. eastern time, with no definitive timeline set. It was believed that the meeting could range anywhere between four to seven hours. It ended up lasting around three hours long.

On an X post, the White House posted both Trump and Putin together with a simple tagline: “Pursuing Peace.”

This of course comes after Trump has made it his goal to be the “peace president,” bringing other countries to negotiate with one another, including Armenia and Azerbaijan.

2. Trump and Putin made negotiations with aides by their side to help direct their conversation.

According to CBS News, President Trump brought Secretary of State Marco Rubio and U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff with him to the summit. Russian President Vladimir Putin also took Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his foreign policy adviser, Yuri Ushakova to the negotiation.

In an interview on his way to Alaska, Trump noted that while he could not tell the media exactly what would make this meeting a success, he said he would “not be happy” if a ceasefire agreement was not reached during the summit.

“I want to see a ceasefire. This is not to do with Europe,” says Trump. “Europe’s not telling me what to do, but they’re going to be involved in the process, obviously, as well as Zelenskyy, but I want to see a ceasefire rapidly. I don’t know if it’s going to be today, but I’m not going to be happy if it’s not today.”

3. The meeting held incredibly high stakes for both parties.

For Trump, this meeting meant receiving the recognition as the president who could bring peace to the world. Even Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that she would nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize if he was able to get Russia to agree to a ceasefire. Unfortunately, no agreement has been made yet although Trump declared that the meeting was “productive.”

On the other hand, for Putin, this meeting meant not only bringing peace to his country and Ukraine, but Russia may have otherwise felt the pressure of financial burdens if no agreement was met.

According to NPR, eight pages regarding the meeting were found in a hotel in Alaska that were left behind on a printer.

While Scott’s pastor acknowledged that he did a good job delivering his message, he let him know that he still felt that Scott was called into politics, not pastoring a church.

The famous psychologist, author and media personality has made tremendous waves across the world with his insights on a variety of topics, from Scripture, to marriage and cultural trends. Now, his daughter, Mikhaila Peterson, is publicly sharing that he will be taking a step back as he deals with this health condition.

“@jordanbpeterson is taking some time off of everything,” Peterson wrote on X.

He was diagnosed with CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) due to a genetic predisposition that causes the immune system to have an inability to identify and detoxify mold/bacteria in indoor air (the genetic predisposition is not that rare, it’s in about 25% of people but he has a severe version).

Over the last year or so he’s been feeling the impact of CIRS more and more. Recently he was exposed to a particularly moldy environment while helping clean out my grandfather’s house after he passed away which severely flared symptoms.

To be crystal clear – this isn’t about akathisia or medication. He’s not on any medication. It’s an immune system dysfunction.

Peterson further said that her father’s struggle with CIRS, or chronic inflammatory response syndrome, has been the root cause of much of his health problems over the years. Now, it has taken over his ability carry on as normal for the time being.

CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) is what has been behind his multiple health issues and random severe allergies and severe food sensitivities over the years. He’s really been suffering from this badly since 2017 we just didn’t know what it was called. Only eating meat helped keep the symptoms under control but it hasn’t been enough recently.

CIRS is also the explanation behind recent cancelled shows, cancelled events, sporadic appearance of being rundown and general weepiness (caused by pain).

He’s pausing the podcast at the moment but we’re hopeful for a somewhat speedy recovery given we at least know what’s going on, and there is treatment, and he’s responding well although it’s pretty rough.

Despite this growing issue, Peterson is giving God the praise that they finally have an answer as to what has been causing her father’s struggles over the years.

“Praise GOD that we finally know what’s been going on,” she writes. “Praying we can treat him quickly and the medical community can be more aware of CIRS and building codes can change (add ERVs to HVACs) so we can get fresh air indoors.”

According to Live Science, the AI systems created by Meta are on a new and fascinating path: they are making improvements on their own without any help from humans.

As Live Science noted, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, recently wrote, “Over the last few months we have begun to see glimpses of our AI systems improving themselves. The improvement is slow for now, but undeniable.”

Because of this rapid rate of AI’s growth, Zuckerberg says that Meta will use great consideration prior to making models accessible to the public.

Is there an unknown threat permeating our society?

In an interview with Dinesh D’Souza, Robert Spencer, the founder of “Jihad Watch,” discussed how the radical ideologies of jihad have dangerously taken hold of our Western society.

Spencer points out that the biggest global jihad issue today is “the jihad against Israel,” which he believes is “very poorly understood” in the West. He emphasizes that “a key and important meaning is warfare against unbelievers in order to subjugate them under… Islamic law,” a violent and expansionist form of jihad ongoing for 1,400 years.

According to Spencer, the modern resurgence of political Islam can be traced to 1924, when Turkey’s secular government abolished the caliphate — the office seen in Sunni theology as Muhammad’s successor and tasked with waging jihad against non-Muslims. This void inspired movements like the Muslim Brotherhood to restore a legitimate Islamic authority and resume “offensive jihad.” In Shiite Islam, he says, the same impulse helped drive the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Spencer debunks the framing of the Israel–Palestinian conflict as a territorial dispute between two national identities. “It is not,” he insists. “This is an Islamic jihad.” Citing Gaza’s transformation into “a massive jihad camp” after Israel’s 2005 withdrawal, he points to Islamic teaching that land once ruled by Islam “belongs by right to Islam forever” and must be reclaimed.

As U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin gear up for their Alaska meeting today, here are three key facts you need to know.

1. This may be the Trump’s opportunity to prove himself as the lead unifier and peacemaker across the world.

Currently, Putin seems open to discussions regarding Ukraine with Trump, stating that the president is, “making, in my opinion, quite energetic and sincere efforts to stop the reach agreements that are of interest to all parties involved,” Reuters reported.

3. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not be present at the meeting.

According the ABC News, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy will not be at the summit. Right now, it is President Trump’s hope that what happens today will lead to further discussion which would incorporate Zelenskyy.

“I think it’s going to be a good meeting, but the more important meeting will be the second meeting that we’re having,” Trump said. “We’re going to have a meeting with President Putin, President Zelenskyy, myself and maybe we’ll bring some of the European leaders, maybe not.”

“Can you name one positive thing that Zionists have contributed to America?” Owens asked.

To help show the true and correct meaning of Zionism, Cahn broke down the falsities in Owens’ claim.

“What exactly is the word Zionism? What does it mean? It comes from the Bible,” Cahn says. “The biblical word simply means the land of Israel. And Zionism simply means the belief that the Jewish people have the right to return to their ancient homeland given to them by God and have a nation there.”

Cahn also makes another clear and pertinent point: Zionism is not about us. It’s about the will of God.

Amanda Grace of Ark of Grace Ministries issued a sobering warning about the state of the conservative movement, expressing deep embarrassment over the chaos and immaturity she says have taken root.

“We are watching right now in the conservative most horrific jabs and focusing on the most superficial nonsense when there’s actually people struggling in this nation,” she said, pointing to families who are wondering how they will keep the lights on or feed their children.

Grace highlighted the absurdity of public fights over things as trivial as “the size of a wedding ring” while some voices within the movement seek to blame Israel for “absolutely everything under the sun.” She reminded listeners that God made an unbreakable covenant with Abraham for the nation of Israel: “If people don’t like that, take it up in the court of God.”

She warned that narcissism, paganism and the spirit of Amalek have infiltrated the conservative movement, lowering its moral standard “into the muck and mire of the pig pen of the world.” Instead of setting an example for Generation Z, many conservative commentators—who often “want for nothing”—are engaging in public name-calling, filthy language and personal attacks.

Grace likened the movement to biblical King Saul, whose kingdom was torn away because of disobedience and rebellion. She warned that any commentator who continues down a path of arrogance and defiance risks losing their platform: “The kingdom… that platform will be torn away from you in this time.”

She urged believers to recognize that these public feuds serve up “slop” to both political opponents and “the kingdom of darkness,” giving them ammunition to throw back at the movement.

“The conservative movement has evicted Jesus Christ for all this other nonsense,” Grace said. “They’re talking about the very filth that grieves Him… when the Word of God says death and life are in the power of the tongue. Right now they’re speaking nothing but death.”

Her closing charge was clear: pray, armor up and remain discerning in this season. “There is an infiltration… that is destroying it all from within,” she warned. “Be in prayer right now. Keep the faith.”

After purchasing the “Annabelle doll,” has comedian Matt Rife embarked now on a spiritually dark path?

Matt Rife has come under hot water with secular audiences after starring in an cosmetics ad with drag queen Heidi N’ Closet. In the ad, the two act as though they are part of a legal team they call “The Law Offices of & Schmarnes,” which is centered on fixing beauty crimes. However, since Rife previously made jokes regarding domestic violence, audiences are not happy about what Rife acting in a makeup ad.

According to Adweek, Rife was chosen for this part because his TikTok following is 80% female and 75% are under younger than 34. However, what if this signifies something deeper and more spiritual about the route that Rife is on?

As Charisma Media previously reported, Rife recently became the guardian of the Annabelle doll, 750 paranormal artifacts, an occult museum and the home of Lorraine and Ed Warren’s home. Getting involved with what is spiritually dark, however, does have consequences. Dan Rivera, who used to tour with the Annabelle doll, died very unexpectedly after he was with the doll on his “Devils on the Run” tour.

Revivalist Isaiah Saldivar also issued a stark warning to Rife about the demonic spirits that he could be opening himself up to by getting involved with occultic practices.

“You are playing with fire when you start playing with these things and think it’s no big deal,” Saldivar warned.

Matt Rife’s growing entanglement with the occult and now the promotion of LGBTQ ideology should serve as a sobering reminder that spiritual compromise rarely happens overnight—it’s often the result of one unguarded step after another. Scripture warns that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. The allure of fame, money and cultural relevance can make those doors easier to open than we realize.

As believers, our response should not only be to recognize the danger but to intercede for Rife, asking God to break every demonic influence and draw him toward the truth of the gospel.
