As the National Catholic Register noted, a statement from the King and Queen of England read that the royals will “…join His Holiness Pope Leo XIV in celebrating the 2025 Jubilee Year.” The statement further said that these celebrations are “traditionally marked every 25 years.”

Together, the royals and head of the Catholic Church will “celebrate the ecumenical work by the Church of England and the Catholic Church, reflecting the jubilee year’s theme of walking together as ‘Pilgrims of Hope.'”

Charles, who is the head of the Anglican Church, may have to comment on whoever is chosen to become the next Archbishop of Canterbury if the selection is made public prior to the visit with Leo. While the Catholic Church will not ordain women as bishops, deacons or priests, the Church of England could end up with a female Archbishop, as The Tablet noted. This could potentially bring about interesting religious discussions between the two leaders.

This next major celebratory point for the Jubilee Year comes after the Vatican hosted a group of LGBTQ Catholics carrying a rainbow crucifix to the site.

Glenn Beck: Should Christians Forgive Charlie Kirk’s Killer?

The tragic death of Charlie Kirk has ignited passionate debate across the nation. For some, the cry for justice has taken the form of calls for the death penalty—even public execution. The question now: How should Christians view forgiveness, and what should come next for Charlie Kirk’s killer?

At the center of this discussion on forgiveness is Charlie’s widow, Erica Kirk. Her words, spoken through tears yet brimming with faith, have deeply impacted the nation. “My husband Charlie, he wanted to save young men just like the one who took his life,” she said. Then, drawing from the example of Christ Himself, she declared, “That man, that young man, I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did and is what Charlie would do. The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love.”

This radical act of forgiveness stunned listeners. It is one thing to talk about loving enemies in theory; it is another to live it out when the wound is fresh and the loss is immeasurable. Yet Erica’s choice revealed a profound truth: forgiveness denies evil the hatred it craves.

Glenn Beck, reflecting on Erika Kirk’s response explained, “The man who killed Charlie deserves death. I think we all have the right to hate him, especially the wife that will never see her husband again. But that’s not victory, and that’s not what we’re supposed to do.” Instead, he urged Christians to recognize that the real enemy is not the killer himself but the powers of darkness that manipulate and destroy. Quoting the Apostle Paul, he reminded listeners, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world.”

Still, forgiveness does not erase the call for justice. “Justice protects the innocent, but mercy redeems the guilty,” he said. “Order and love. I want both. God’s law demands justice, yet His character demands mercy.” As Beck pointed out, the state of Utah, where the crime occurred, does enforce the death penalty. He acknowledged that the law must be carried out, but he stressed the spirit in which it should happen: “If they go for the death penalty, I would hope that everybody on that firing squad is weeping—that they are providing justice that must be served, but they are doing it with a soft and gentle heart and mercy.”

This distinction is critical. Justice without mercy hardens into cruelty, leaving no room for redemption or growth. Mercy without justice becomes indulgence, eroding society and abandoning victims. True righteousness requires both.

In the end, Beck’s call is clear: Christians must resist hatred, even when it feels justified. The cross itself stands as the ultimate example. With nails piercing His hands and lungs collapsing, Jesus gasped out the words, “Father, forgive them.” That act of divine mercy shook the kingdom of darkness—and set the pattern for all who follow Him.

Pray for Dolly Parton: Beloved Singer Facing ‘Health Challenges’

Dolly Parton is taking a break from her music tour due to some unprecedented health challenges.

In a post made to social media, the country music legend let audiences know that she is postponing her Las Vegas concerts due to her health.

“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures,” Parton wrote.

Parton joked that these surgeries are not part of her “usual trip to see my plastic surgeon,” but that she unfortunately will not be able to give her full attention to music during this time.

I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see. You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you. While I’ll still be able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say.

Parton then shifted her focus to how the Lord is leading her and guiding her during this time.

Francis Chan: The Hidden Struggle Every Believer Faces

In a world where achievement often defines worth, many Christians struggle to fully grasp and experience God’s love. In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, Pastor Francis Chan explored the delicate balance between reverence and rest—between trembling at the Word of God and delighting in His love.

Chan reflects on his journey of faith: “I still believe what I said in 2009…love the Word and just dive in joy. But what I didn’t tremble at back then was His promises. So much of what we should be trembling at is when He promises something, when He says, ‘I love you and want you to abide in My love.’” For Chan, Scripture opened his eyes to the depth of God’s love, even as he wrestled with personal insecurity and doubt.

He shared a poignant moment of vulnerability when he had grapple with the concept of God’s love. “I just was honest, like, I don’t want to have any doubts of His love for me…Let me get real with anything that is off in my life. I just want to be at peace coming into His presence.” This candid confession highlights that even spiritual leaders struggle with fear and doubt—and that prayer, community and God’s grace play crucial roles in overcoming them.

Chan also addressed the barriers that make it difficult for believers to receive God’s love. Cultural and religious pressures often emphasize accomplishment, perfection and scrutiny. He notes, “We start to go, ‘gosh, is this the way God is? My own family doesn’t feel this way about me…My own church doesn’t feel this way. And so I’m supposed to believe in this God.’” He warns against extremes, urging believers not to neglect God’s justice in favor of grace, or to rely on fear and works at the expense of relationship.

For Chan, practical steps to understanding more of God’s love and grace include meditation on Scripture and focusing on the invisible work of God. “I need the eyes of my heart enlightened…It’s not about just education and information. I need to know these things to the depths of my soul.” Chan calls believers to embrace childlike faith, affirming truths like, “Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me,” allowing them to sink deeply into the soul and transform daily living.

Ultimately, Chan wants Christians to rest in the truth that God delights in His people. “There’s this God in heaven that wants you to believe in His love for you, and as much as you want it yourself, just rest in the fact that God wants this for you,” Chan reminds.

Roseanne Barr and Jonathan Cahn Expose the Hidden Spiritual Battle Shaping America

In a powerful and dynamic discussion, Jonathan Cahn joined Roseanne Barr to explore how biblical prophecies are unfolding in modern-day America. From the Clintons representing Ahab and Jezebel to Donald Trump’s rise as a modern-day Jehu, the two examined how current leaders are acting as avatars for ancient entities, shaping both the spiritual and political trajectory of the nation. Their conversation wove history, prophecy and cultural commentary into a compelling portrait of America’s present moment.

“Jehu is the mystery of Donald Trump,” Cahn observes, leaning into the biblical parallel. “Jehu’s agenda was to go to the capital city and drain the swamp,” he explained, highlighting how Trump’s rise mirrors an ancient prophetic pattern of judgment, cleansing and political upheaval.

“It’s the total Bible manifesting,” Cahn continues, pointing to the downfall of Jezebel and the rise of Jehu as a symbolic framework for contemporary events.

Cahn also compared King Jehoram’s weak and indecisive reign to the leadership challenges faced by Joe Biden, noting how each struggled with national crises, from border security to internal corruption. He pointed out that even subtle patterns in Scripture often align with today’s political narratives.

Turning to Kamala Harris, Cahn said, “Kamala Harris was like the political heir,” drawing a line from Hillary Clinton to Harris as a continuation of opposition against Trump in 2024. “One of the issues of Kamala Harris has been the blood of children,” he added, referencing her stance on abortion and highlighting the moral and spiritual implications of political decisions. He also drew a connection between Harris’ lineage and the Indian goddess Kamala, linking it to Vishnu, known for being lethargic—a spiritual metaphor he parallels with Biden’s often-tired public persona.

“It’s a fight of principalities,” Barr observed, reflecting on the unseen spiritual battle she believes underlies political events.

The discussion took a darker turn as Cahn described how the website Jezebel allegedly paid witches to curse Charlie Kirk shortly before his death. He noted that the town “Orem,” where Kirk died, literally translates to dragon or serpent, while Kirk’s name means church. Cahn drew a chilling parallel to the ancient Jezebel, who “hunted down righteous people and killed them,” emphasizing that spiritual forces are active in modern events.

The two also discussed the upcoming release of The Dragon’s Prophecy, a powerful new movie by Dinesh D’Souza hitting theaters October 6 and October 8. The film tackles themes of moral decay, cultural warfare against Israel, and the prophetic destiny of nations—issues both Cahn and Barr see as central to understanding current global dynamics.

Their conversation then shifted to the Temple Mount and recent events echoing historical patterns. “October 7 was a strike back,” Cahn explained, referencing a significant attack that coincided with a Jewish holiday. He stressed that the timing was no coincidence, framing it as part of a divine schedule woven into the prophetic calendar.

“It’s about building the Temple…this war is over prophecy,” Cahn said, connecting political and military events to a larger spiritual struggle centered on God’s plans and promises.

Barr reinforced the spiritual dimension of the discussion, noting that the disputes were not merely over territory or politics. “It’s not about land…It’s about God,” Barr said, highlighting how faith and divine purpose are at the heart of unfolding global events.

Together, Roseanne Barr and Jonathan Cahn paint a vivid picture of how biblical prophecy continues to unfold in America today. From political leaders reflecting ancient archetypes to spiritual battles shaping the nation’s destiny, their conversation reminds readers that current events are more than politics—they are a reflection of God’s unfolding plan.

Netflix Reimagines Ruth and Boaz: Biblical Story or Hollywood Spin?

Netflix is tackling the powerful love story from the Bible and bringing it to life in film.

The new Netflix film, Ruth and Boaz, was produced by Tyler Perry and Devon Franklin, According to Decider.com. This new flick is the first of many Christian-inspired movies that is set to come from the Perry-Franklin team.

Franklin previously stated for Netflix’s Tudum article that, “Ruth and Boaz has been a labor of love, and I’m grateful to finally share this first look with the world. This classic story has held such deep meaning for me and so many others for generations.”

The film differs from Scripture in that it is set in modern times with the movie following Ruth as a singer who grew up in the foster care system and is planning on making it big in the music industry. However, she quits after disliking her producer’s vision. In this modern-day story, Ruth meets Boaz at her new vineyard job picking grapes, overall depicting a much different story than the biblical one we are used to where Ruth follows her mother-in-law, Naomi, back to Bethlehem after her husband’s death and finds familial redemption through her connection and marriage to Boaz.

While modern retellings like Netflix’s Ruth and Boaz can offer creative and engaging ways to explore timeless themes, it’s important to remember that these adaptations are not faithful to the original events. By setting the story in contemporary times and altering key details—such as Ruth’s background—the film is ultimately an interpretation rather than a historical account.

For those seeking the true story of Ruth and Boaz, the most reliable source remains the Bible. The Scriptures provide the full context, cultural background and spiritual depth that modern adaptations can’t always capture, ensuring that the lessons of devotion, providence and God’s faithfulness are experienced as they were originally intended.

Netanyahu Issues Stark Warning at UN: ‘Israel Will Hunt You Down’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a forceful address at the United Nations on Friday, warning of Iran’s escalating threat, defending Israel’s war efforts against Hamas and laying out a vision for a broader Middle East peace. His speech was marked by world leaders walking out of the room, showcasing the current tensions between Israel and other nations.

From the outset, Netanyahu highlighted the plight of hostages still held in Gaza following the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7, 2023. “Mr. President, the families of our dear hostages languishing in the dungeons of Gaza,” he began. Recalling the massacre, he said Hamas “stormed into Israel on Oct. 7 and committed acts of unspeakable savagery.” Speaking directly to the abductees, Netanyahu declared, “We have not forgotten you. Not even for a second … We will not falter, and we will not rest, until we bring all of you home.”

The prime minister devoted much of his speech to Iran, which he accused of orchestrating a “terror axis.” Holding up the map he had displayed in 2023, Netanyahu said, “Last year, I stood at this podium, and I showed this map. It shows the curse of Iran’s terror axis.” He added: “Iran was rapidly developing a massive nuclear weapons program and a massive ballistic missile program.”

He also detailed Israel’s military responses across the region. “We’ve hammered the Houthis, including yesterday. We crushed the bulk of Hamas’s terror machine. We crippled Hezbollah, taking out most of its leaders and much of its weapons arsenal. And most importantly … we devastated Iran’s atomic weapons and ballistic missile programs.”

Turning to the international community, Netanyahu criticized what he described as “lawfare” and appeasement of Islamist extremism. In a sharp rebuke to European leaders who recently recognized Palestinian statehood, he said: “You know what message the leaders who recognize the Palestinian state this week sent to the Palestinians? It’s a very clear message: murdering Jews pays off.”

He then issued an ultimatum to Hamas: “Lay down your arms. Let my people go! Free the hostages! All of them. The whole 48. Free the hostages now! If you do, you will live. If you don’t, Israel will hunt you down.” Netanyahu promised that if Hamas complied, “Gaza would be demilitarized, Israel would retain overriding security control, and a peaceful civilian authority would be established by Gazans and others committed to peace with Israel.”

At one point he staged what he called a “pop quiz” for world leaders: “Who shouts ‘Death to America?’ … Who has murdered Americans and Europeans in cold blood?” He warned, “Our enemies hate all of us with equal venom. They want to drag the modern world back to the past … to a dark age of violence, fanaticism, and terror.”

Yet amid his warnings, Netanyahu also cast a vision for peace. “Many of those who wage war on Israel today will be gone tomorrow. Brave peacemakers will take their place.” He concluded by invoking Israel’s endurance: “With God’s help, that strength and that resolve would lead us to a speedy victory and to a brilliant future of prosperity and peace.”

Netanyahu’s United Nations speech painted a stark picture of the threats facing Israel while laying out a bold roadmap for security and regional stability. The address left no doubt: Israel is determined to defend its people, hold its enemies accountable and shape the future of the region on its own terms.

Is This Prophecy About Jimmy Swaggart Finally Coming to Life?

In a recent prophetic teaching, evangelist and author Perry Stone shared a compelling vision from Pastor Jentezen Franklin on what would happen next when the great Jimmy Swaggart would pass away.

According to Stone, Franklin says he was awakened by the sound of rain pouring outside, and began hearing God speak directly to him. Stone said, “The Lord began to speak to him, and it was the most unusual thing…”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Franklin, sensing the weight of the moment, instructed his wife to “turn a light on and get a pen and write down everything I’m saying. Don’t even ask me any questions.” Stone summarized the essence of this prophetic message: God had raised up a great man of God to bring the message of the Holy Spirit to the world, but that work was only part of a larger plan. The divine vision, Franklin reported, revealed an unprecedented outpouring of the Spirit yet to come—a revival that would sweep across generations, filling stadiums with young people hungry for the Holy Spirit.

Jimmy Swaggart: A Trigger for Revival

Central to this message was the spiritual significance of Jimmy Swaggart’s passing. Franklin’s prophetic vision had indicated that the departure of Swaggart would serve as a catalyst—or what Stone referred to as a “triggering point”—for this great move of God. Stone explained, “When my servant Jimmy Swaggart comes home to be with Me, this will be the triggering point.”

This prophetic vision focused on Joel 2, which speaks of God pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh in the last days. Stone highlighted that the coming revival would be selective: churches and ministers that reject the work of the Spirit would be excluded, while those that embrace Him would be included. “Every minister and church that has welcomed my spirit, welcomed my gifts, welcomed my presence with worship, I’ll allow them to receive what’s about to happen,” Stone recounted from Franklin’s prophetic words.

The Impact of Charlie Kirk’s Passing

While Swaggart’s passing served as the prophetic trigger, Stone also acknowledged the influence of Charlie Kirk’s death in mobilizing youth globally. He described Kirk as a figure whose passing—though intended for harm by spiritual forces—was transformed by God to produce salvation and revival on an international scale. Stone emphasized, “If what happened to Charlie is what Satan meant for evil, God meant for good. Many people are going to be saved as a result of this.”

As Stone pointed out, this new movement is not tied to a single organization or denomination but thrives through individual leaders empowered by the Holy Spirit. Stone stressed that this revival will continue to build momentum, inspiring a generation of forerunners who will boldly proclaim repentance and the nearness of the kingdom of heaven.

“The youth are coming hungry to be filled with the Holy Spirit,” Stone said. “What you’re about to see is stadiums filled with young people… a revival bigger than the Jesus Movement of the 60s and 70s. This is just the beginning.”

How Erika Kirk’s Powerful Message Moved Tim Allen to Forgiveness

Tim Allen has been very open and public with his faith journey. Now, he is giving Erika Kirk the credit for helping him to do the unthinkable: forgive those who have caused irreparable damage.

For millions around the world, Erika Kirk’s public forgiveness of the man who murdered her husband, Charlie Kirk, was a stirring and emotional moment. On X Allen wrote, “When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: “That man… that young man… I forgive him.”  That moment deeply affected me.”

Allen continued, “I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: ‘I forgive the man who killed my father.’ Peace be with you all.”

The Bible calls believers to forgive as Christ forgave us, releasing the burden of bitterness and allowing God’s peace to flow in its place (Col. 3:13). Allen’s public declaration mirrors the example of Jesus on the cross, who prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do,” (Lk 23:34) something that Erika Kirk said in her speech as well.

Back in February, Allen announced that he had spent almost a year finishing the Old Testament, which he called, “a humbling, overwhelming experience.” He then wrote on X in June about his journey through the New Testament and how Romans was profoundly impacting his life.

Tim Allen’s journey of forgiveness stands as a testament to the life-changing power of God’s Word and the example of Christlike love in action. His story reminds believers that forgiveness is not just a personal release—it is a spiritual act that brings healing, honors God and reflects His grace to the world. In a culture often defined by anger and division, Allen’s words serve as a shining example that following Jesus means extending mercy, even to those who seem undeserving, and allowing God’s peace to transform our hearts from the inside out.

Nephilim or Not? Million-Year-Old Skull Discovery Sparks Questions About Humanity

Does this million-year-old skull point to something greater about humanity, or does it showcase the reality of ancient Nephilim giants?

In a new report by Science Alert, an ancient skull just may be the key to unlocking more about our history. According to the site, scientists from China and the United Kingdom have been using a 3D scanning system to digitally rebuild this skull and figure out where it belongs on the hominid family line.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

As Science Alert noted, “It’s not the skull of a modern human ancestor, but that of a closely related human.” For Christians, this just may spark the idea of whether not this could indeed be the skull of a Nephilim giant, a remnant of the mysterious beings mentioned in Genesis 6:4. Scripture tells us that the Nephilim were “mighty men of old, men of renown,” and discoveries like this remind believers that God’s Word provides a framework for understanding the full history of humanity—one that science alone cannot fully explain.

What’s key about this discovery is that because of its age, it means that humanity is older than scientists previously thought by hundreds of thousands of years. Researchers have two of these skulls, which are called Yunxian 1 and Yunxian 2 after its location find in China. According to CNN, it is believed that these skulls could be part of the same species as the “Dragon Man,” which are believed to have been a group of pre-historic humans with unspecified origins.

Ultimately, discoveries like Yunxian 1 and Yunxian 2 invite Christians to consider the reality of the Nephilim as described in Genesis. For believers, such findings reinforce the authority of Scripture and the sovereignty of God over all creation, reminding us that He is the ultimate historian of humanity—even long before modern science could track our origins.
