Just a few days following this nighttime phenomenon we will be able to see the full harvest moon on Oct. 6. Tonight, Oct. 2, there should also be the opportunity to see the Northern Lights for people living as far south as New York, according to . This wonder of the Aurora Borealis coming right as the other fantastic signs and wonders within a few days just may pose the question: what does this all mean?

Throughout this year we’ve seen blood moons, rare eclipses and unusual Northern Light activity. There was a blood moon eclipse this year during Purim and a solar eruption during Holy Week. It would appear as though we are being given signs of the times.

Throughout Scripture, God has often used signs in the heavens to convey His messages, warn nations, and prepare His people. From the sun standing still in Joshua’s day to the prophetic significance of the moon and stars in Revelation, these heavenly displays remind us that God is actively at work in our times. Each light in the sky is a testament to His majesty and that He will be back again very soon.

Could Saturn hold the key to our knowledge regarding extraterrestrial life?

A recent Daily Mail report highlighted that the European Space Agency may have found evidence suggesting the possibility of life on one of Saturn’s moons. The Daily Mail noted that the moon, Enceladus, could potentially house life under its ocean waters. This particular moon, while appearing to be empty and bare from the outside, has “tiny grains of ice” that are “constantly being spewed into space” near its South Pole region.

Scientists used information from the Cassini spacecraft to uncover these ice crystals, which are “packed with complex organic molecules.” While this discovery does not directly prove life on Enceladus, it does show that there is potential for life to exist on this moon.

While discoveries like these can spark curiosity and wonder, Christians are reminded that our ultimate significance does not come from what we might find in the cosmos, but from our identity in Christ. Scripture teaches that humans are created in the image of God and that He chose to redeem us through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. No scientific discovery can change the truth that we are God’s handiwork, loved and purposed for His glory. Our focus should remain on our relationship with the Creator, who holds all life and wisdom in His hands.

At the same time, believers should exercise discernment, recognizing that fascination with extraterrestrial life can sometimes become a distraction or even a tool of deception, drawing attention away from God’s truth. 1. Receive
Savchuk highlights the importance of embracing Jesus as Lord and Savior. “The first one is that they need to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior,” he says.

2. Recognize
The next step is identifying whether a struggle is spiritual or simply a matter of personal discipline. “They need to recognize: is this spiritual or is this lack of their discipline?”

3. Repent
Repentance addresses personal sin and, when necessary, generational patterns. “We repent of those things. And this could be controversial for some, but sometimes, when you notice that things are generational, you repent for your ancestors… so that the axes can be revoked.”

4. Renounce
Believers are called to renounce ties to darkness, soul ties, or inner vows. Savchuk explains, “Renouncing is done when there has been oaths that have been made or covenants have been made with the kingdom of darkness… Renouncing is also done with inner vows.”

5. Release
Forgiveness is essential to cut the enemy’s grip. “If you hold on to unforgiveness, Satan has every right in hell and on earth to hold on to you. In order to break that grip, you have to cut the cord. And the cord is unforgiveness.”

6. Rebuke
Deliverance involves confronting the enemy directly. “Now, not only there is a rebuke but then we resist. Demons on the inside need to be removed. Demons on the outside need to be resisted.”

7. Resist
Resistance ensures that demonic influence does not return. “Submit to God, resist the devil. That’s really you possessing the promised land.”

8. Renew, Replace, Remain
Finally, the mind must be renewed, habits replaced with godly patterns, and believers remain connected to their church community. “We renew our mind with the truth so that the strongholds is broken… Replace is the areas of your life where the enemy used to have a hold… And lastly is you remain, remain as you get plugged in in the local churches.”

Savchuk compares the process to Israel’s journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. “Deliverance is what he does for me. Discipleship is what he does in me. Dominion is what he does through me,” he says, emphasizing that freedom is not only being delivered from oppression but also learning to walk in authority.

Freedom doesn’t have to be a far-fetched idea. Through the blood of Jesus, we truly can be more than conquerors in Christ.

In a recent podcast conversation, Roseanne Barr and Jonathan Cahn discussed the Hebrew calendar, political prophecy and spiritual warfare.

“The Hebrew calendar is a wheel and it repeats over and over,” Barr explained. “People still don’t see it. That’s why The Avatar is the greatest book written in 2,000 years. It puts it all together for us.”

Cahn then drew a striking parallel between former President Donald Trump and the biblical figure Jehu. “Jehu was anointed by a prophet, and his mission was to strike down the house of Ahab,” he said. “Now in the American House of Ahab, you have everything that’s taken over—what we call the woke movement. Trump has been doing that, especially since he came back. He’s like Jehu on steroids. He’s basically been rolling this thing back.”

He noted that Jehu purged the government and tore down the temple of Baal, a place associated with child sacrifice. “Trump, more than anybody, was responsible for the overturning of Roe v. Wade, America’s Temple of Baal,” Cahn asserted. “He’s been dismantling agencies and structures that go against God’s purposes.” The symbolism extends to Trump’s inauguration: presented with a sword at the inaugural ball, he waved it in a manner reminiscent of Jehu, the biblical enforcer of God’s judgment.

Discussing Trump’s political career, Cahn revealed, “The first time he was a candidate for president in 2000. He was under the Reform Party, and it was called Trump 2000.” Cahn then noted that when Trump’s second term comes to an end in 2028, that will be a 28-year period that the president has been on the political stage, the same number of years that Jehu also reigned among Israel in Scripture.

Turning to Kamala Harris, Cahn revealed a parallel with Jezebel’s daughter Athaliah, who rose to power by political marriage and sought to eliminate the royal house’s children. “Kamala Harris was like the heir, the political heir following the path of Hillary Clinton.” he said. “Her main campaign was abortion.”

Even the locations of Harris’s nomination and election night were seen as prophetic. “The place where [her nomination] was called Temple,” Cahn said.

The two also touched on the topic of ancient Hindu principalities and powers regarding both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. “So, from the house of Brahmin is born Kamala Harris. This is the house of avatars,” said Cahn. ” Kamala is the name of an ancient goddess, an ancient pagan goddess becomes the number two ruler in the ‘s the number one? Vishnu. You know how how Biden was called sleepy Joe?  Vishnu was called the sleeping god.”

Recently, Musk has been quite active when it comes to engaging with Christian values. After the Pope criticized Musk for having the potential to become a trillionaire, Musk reposted on X about the wealth of the Vatican equating to almost $2 trillion. He then captioned it with Matthew 7:3-5, “Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?“

Beyond this, Musk also shared Erika Kirk’s simple post “Go to church.” Now, Musk is also encouraging parents to cut the cord on Netflix after they have been openly promoting a pro-transgender cartoon on their platform. Musk shared the original post from the Libs of TikTok writing, “This is not ok.” He also shared another post writing, “Cancel Netflix for the health of your children.”

As we see more people coming to faith, especially since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, one could wonder if perhaps Musk has also been impacted enough to wake up to the culture around us and the evil that has been allowed to prevail.

Baucham passed away at the age of 56 on Sept. 25, with his ministry announcing his unexpected death on social media.

“Earlier today, after suffering an emergency medical incident, he entered into his rest and the immediate presence of the Savior whom he loved, trusted, and served since he was converted as a college student,” the ministry wrote.

Baucham’s daughter, Jasmine Holmes, also shared her grief online, stating that, “Nothing can prepare you for losing your dad.”

“For me, it’s not ‘all of our godly preachers are dying’ or ‘I sure will miss his powerful voice for Jesus.’ For me? I just miss my daddy,” Holmes wrote.

Just days after a gunman killed four people and injured another eight inside of a Mormon church, members of the Latter-day Saints have decided to do one of the most selfless acts: financially provide for the family of their attacker.

According to the Washington Post, the members of the church started to collect funds for the alleged attacker’s wife and son. The believed gunman, Thomas Jacob Sanford, died in a shootout with police.

Dave Butler, an LDS member who started the fundraiser, said, ” Sanford leaves behind a wife and children who must be grieving. They will face financial hardship and psychological trauma as a result of this week’s horrifying events. Butler also told the Washington Post, “The Epistle of James says that we should care for the widows and wanted to make sure that we were taking care of them, and thousands of people, it turns out, agree with me.” Butler is not a member of the direct church that was impacted in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

As The Washington Post noted, Sanford’s son is believed to have a rare congenital hyperinsulinism. Sanford’s father also said via text that, “Our family is grieving so much right now, I can’t find any words to express our appreciation but the right time will eventually come, thank you so much.”

Religious scholar Dan McClellan told the Washington Post that this form of forgiveness is a critical part of the Mormon community.

“…they do quite a bit of marginalizing and persecuting of their own, but forgiving enemies is something that is always at the forefront of messaging for the LDS a grudge is like holding onto a burning coal with the intent of throwing it at some else. And it just hurts you more than it hurts think forgiveness is a way to put that down.”

This extreme act of forgiveness is the second one we’ve seen in just a few weeks. After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, his wife, Erika Kirk, publicly forgave her husband’s killer during Charlie Kirk’s memorial service.

“That man—that young man—I forgive him. I forgive him because it’s what Christ did. And it’s what Charlie would do,” Erika Kirk said.

These extraordinary acts of forgiveness reminds us of the radical calling of Scripture to love even those who harm us. In Romans 12:20–21, we are instructed, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Forgiveness, in its truest form, is not a passive act—it is a powerful weapon against bitterness, anger and the darkness that seeks to destroy communities. It frees the heart, honors God and reflects the very character of Christ, who forgave those who crucified Him.

Equally important is the focus on supporting widows and orphans, a theme echoed throughout Scripture. James 1:27 declares, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” Such acts of selfless love testify that God’s grace is stronger than human brokenness—and that through obedience to His Word, communities can rise above hatred and cultivate peace where it is least expected. Ultimately, acts of forgiveness and care for the vulnerable reflect the core of God’s calling for His people.

Halloween is not a game. Instead, it is a dark day that Christians should avoid celebrating at all costs.

In a reel posted to social media, ex-witch-turned-revivalist Jenny Weaver shared why Christians should not only avoid Halloween, but the specific danger behind the jack-o-lantern.

“Here’s the dark truth about Jack-o-lanterns,” says Weaver. “Jack-o-lanterns originated from a festival called Samhain, and they believed on this one day that the veil would be very thin and the dead could arise from graves and come back and wreck vengeance and horror on the living.”

Weaver notes that in ancient tradition, people would cut out scary faces in the gourds as a means to ward off these evil spirits from attacking. She also points out another legend regarding the jack-o-lantern, which is about a blacksmith whose name was Jack.

“He made a pact with the devil, so the devil couldn’t take his soul. When he died, he couldn’t go on to heaven, and he couldn’t go into hell, so Satan forced him to roam around with this carved out pumpkin light as his only way to see, and he went around wrecking havoc and horror on the lives of people,” Weaver says.

With these demonic background origins, Weaver notes that the jack-o-lantern is irredeemable from being anything good because it is rooted in darkness.

“You cannot redeem it,” says Weaver. “Just like you cannot redeem Satanic rituals. We don’t need to be redeeming these things. We need to have nothing to do with them.”

For believers, Weaver’s warning serves as a sobering reminder that Halloween is not just innocent fun, but a day deeply rooted in darkness and demonic tradition. . Scripture tells us to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them” (Eph. 5:11). As Christians, we are called to separate ourselves from practices that glorify death, fear, and the occult, choosing instead to walk in the light of Christ.

Rather than attempting to redeem what is irredeemable, the body of Christ must stand apart, keeping our homes and hearts free from compromise and devoted fully to the One who has already overcome the powers of darkness.

Multiple media outlets are facing backlash after encouraging readers to use Etsy witches for personal gain. This comes as the outlet, Jezebel, is facing swift criticism for paying witches to put curses on Charlie Kirk days prior to his assassination.

According to the Christian Post, The Washington Post is one of the media organizations facing backlash for their article, “Want to Get Rid of a Toxic Ex? Or Curse Someone? Hire an Etsy Witch.” In the article, the media company tied together Etsy and the rise of witches as a “low-cost” service.

The Christian Post also pointed to Business Insider who promoted buying “extreme luck” through Etsy witches, which included “long-lasting beauty, a dream job, money, protection, warm weather, a perfect wedding…”

Another prominent outlet that the Christian Post spoke about was The Wall Street Journal and their promotion of the “online cottage industry” of witchcraft on Etsy.

“Magic practitioners sell on Instagram, Shopify and TikTok, but most customers say Etsy is their go-to,” the article stated.

Not surprisingly, Time also made it in the Christian Post’s list, which just days prior to Kirk’s assassination discussed the history of witchcraft and the power of Etsy witches. In the article Time wrote, “The Etsy witch is the latest iteration of people looking for assistance from the divine in a period of unrest.”

This situation is a stark reminder that we are living in a real spiritual war between light and darkness. Forces of evil are actively at work in the world, seeking to manipulate, curse, and snuff out the light of those who stand for truth. The promotion of witchcraft by mainstream media is not just a cultural trend—it reflects a deeper spiritual battle where evil attempts to gain influence over hearts and minds. These stories reveal how cunningly darkness can masquerade as harmless curiosity, tempting people with promises of wealth, beauty and power, all while serving a destructive spiritual agenda.

Yet, even in the face of such schemes, Christians can take heart because Christ has already won the ultimate victory. Darkness may rage and attempt to sow fear or chaos, but the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any curse, spell or deception. As we watch the world grapple with forces of evil, we can remain steadfast, knowing that Christ’s triumph is sure, and the light of God will prevail no matter how fierce the spiritual opposition may appear.

An earthquake rattled the world so profoundly that it killed 69 people dead and left many more injured.

A 6.9 earthquake struck Cebu, Philippines on Tuesday, which was the deadliest quake since 2013 to hit the Philippines, according to Reuters. After the tragic event, rescue teams were sent out scouting the area to find survivors, some who were located in mud and debris. Buildings throughout the region crashed to the ground, including a church built over a century ago. People’s homes, stores and bridges also were damaged in Cebu.

As Reuters noted, one resident, Sonny Cuse said that he and his family escaped their home just in time as the massive quake hit.

“We thought we could have died today, but we’re thankful that we are all safe. I’m thankful to the Lord,” Cuse said.
