Number #1 Book in America Sounds an Ominous Warning

The Josiah Manifesto Opens up an Ancient Mystery with Chilling Ramifications – Can we afford to ignore it?

After seven New York Times best sellers, The number one nonfiction book in America is sounding an ominous warning. The Josiah Manifesto: The Ancient Mystery and Guide for the End Times by Jonathan Cahn opens up an ancient mystery that is replaying on American soil and before our eyes.

Cahn remarkably and superbly answers questions like: What does the future hold? Is America heading for calamity? Is there hope? Have we been given a last chance? Is it possible to change history? And is there a blueprint to guide us in light of what is next to come?

Like his other books, Cahn dives into ancient mysteries as he shares the warning signs America has been given for our future. However, with this book, Cahn is providing the key, the answer, the blueprint, for how we can survive in the end times.

One of the keys that the book opens up with is a narrative from when Cahn himself visited Cuba in 2008 where he had a face-to-face meeting with Fidel Castro. Just as America has been warned, Castro himself had been warned of his downfall by God. It was here that Cahn presented Castro with a prophetic message and object.

“The first was the shofar, the herald of the Jubilee, the sign of freedom throughout the land, restoration, return, reconciliation, liberty, and redemption, a message for the Cuban ruler,” Cahn writes.

This prophetic gift had more to it than meets the eye: it was a sign of the things to come.

“Its meaning and mystery would be manifested in the years to come,” Cahn writes. “It was a sign of the rise and the fall of Fidel Castro.” It would mark out the exact year that Castro’s reign would end, the exact day – and the exact hour.

The stunning revelations that are unlocked in The Josiah Manifesto go beyond even the rise and fall of the Cuban dictator. Cahn shines a light into the darkness that is hovering over our nation in regards to both the pandemic that gripped our nation at the onset of 2020 and the fifty-year crisis of abortion that has slaughtered millions of unborn babies in America. Cahn says that America has been warned of what is yet to come.

“When New York legalized abortion in 1970, it was only the beginning,” Cahn writes. “Because of its expansive abortion law, because of the multitudes who came to the state to have abortions, New York became the primary gateway through which abortion came to America.”

However, Cahn goes even further, saying that this legalization of abortion did more than just come to America—it allowed the power of death and destruction to later invade in 2020.

“The same primary gateway of death through which abortion came to America would now become the primary gateway of death through which the plague would come to America,” Cahn writes.

The Josiah Manifesto stunningly shows the mysteries and solutions that we need to stand guard and prevail in this hour and light of things that are to come in a way no book has yet done.

The Josiah Manifesto: The Ancient Mystery and Guide For the End Times is available wherever books are sold, online and in bookstores.

What Amazing Discoveries Did This ‘Dead’ Woman Make on Her Visit to Heaven?

At first, Janelle Wooford thought she was having indigestion. When her pain got worse, she called 911. Then, moments after the EMTs arrived, Janelle says everything went white, and she experienced the afterlife.

“I didn’t have pain at all. What is everyone back on earth doing? I wasn’t worried about that. I wasn’t worried about anything and I was just overwhelmed with the peace and the joy and the glory of it all,” Janelle recalls.

It all started with a heart attack that killed her. That’s when Janelle’s spirit was transported to heaven.

“Pretty quickly after finishing eating I had a feeling that was heavy in my chest, but just felt like indigestion and didn’t really think a whole lot of it,” Janelle told CBN. “Then I noticed pain in my left shoulder. It started to kind of go up near my jaw.”

“My breathing was getting a little harder, shallow, and all of a sudden I got real clammy and sweaty,” Janelle said. “That’s when I really started to think, well, maybe this really is something going on with my heart. I called for my daughter to come out to talk to me, and I let her know I wasn’t feeling right, that I felt like I might need to go to the hospital.

“She’s like, ‘call 911,'” Janelle says, describing her daughter’s frantic response. “So, I did. They came in and I remember the EMT started asking me questions, who I was, how I was feeling, and I started to describe to him the pain and what all the symptoms were that I was feeling. All of a sudden, I just said, ‘My head feels funny.’ I said, ‘And my vision.’ And at that point all I saw, it was like this veil—this white, cloudy veil just kind of came down. And that was it.

“The next thing I know is I was just in a bright, bright place and was overwhelmed with joy and peace and happiness,” Janelle said as she found herself in heaven. “I was looking around at everything, everyone, just trying to see who all was there. It was a place of comfort. It was like a familiar place. I knew people that I loved were there, and I was looking to see what all was there and who all was there. It was just beautiful. No pain, no fear, just peace, comfort, joy. It was amazing. Why would you want to leave? I didn’t.

“As I’m doing all that, I hear my name called out,” Janelle says, putting her hand to her ear. “I was like, ‘No thank you, I’m happy here. I’m staying here. I’m enjoying this. I’m not leaving this.’ Then I heard my name again and I’m like, ‘Oh, do I have to answer?’ I said, ‘Maybe if I answer, they’ll let me come back.’ So, I answered, and the moment I answered to my name—the minute I answered my name, it was gone. I was back right there with the EMTs, no longer in heaven.”

“Then they just started letting me know what was going on,” Janelle says about the EMTs attending to her. “They told me I had actually had a heart attack, that they had to perform CPR and shock my heart to get me back. He said that it was about two to two and a half minutes that I had been dead, that I had no heartbeat.”

AG Pastors Call for Resignations Amid Sex Abuse Scandal

In a scandal rocking the Assemblies of God (AG) denomination, multiple pastors are now calling for the resignation of top denominational leaders. Their demand stems from what they perceive as a deeply flawed response to a sex abuse scandal that has cast a dark shadow over AG’s college ministry.

The heart of this troubling issue revolves around Daniel Savala, a long-serving volunteer teacher and mentor closely affiliated with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, AG’s official college ministry. Savala faces grave accusations of rape and sexual assault, with at least 13 men connected to Chi Alpha alleging abuse spanning over two decades.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, Savala and his former protégé, Chris Hundl, were indicted this month for the sexual abuse of two minors. Hundl, an ordained AG minister, had previously held a leadership position within Baylor University’s Chi Alpha chapter.

In the wake of these revelations, pastors within the AG denomination have raised their voices against what they view as an inadequate response to the crisis. Pastor J.R. Armstrong of Mauriceville All Gospel Church in Orange, Texas, passionately expressed his concern, stating, “Missionaries have been arrested. A handful of others have been removed from the pulpit. All the while, the leaders of the districts and national office have remained silent.”

Albert Cortez of Family Life Assembly of God in Katy, Texas, echoed this sentiment. He likened the unfolding scandal to a dramatic Netflix series, highlighting how Chi Alpha chapters in South Texas had unwittingly allowed a sexual predator to infiltrate their campuses for a quarter of a century. Cortez emphasized the alarming fact that Chi Alpha leaders had referred students to Savala for one-on-one counseling, oblivious to his predatory behavior.

Mark Forrester, an AG spokesperson, directed media inquiries to a brief statement on the AG website. The statement unequivocally condemned the teachings and practices associated with Daniel Savala. It also clarified that Savala had never held a formal staff position within Chi Alpha, and Chris Hundl’s AG minister credentials had been revoked.

The pastors’ dissatisfaction extends beyond voicing concerns; they are now actively demanding the resignation of specific regional and national AG leaders due to perceived inadequacies in their responses to the scandal.

Armstrong specifically named leaders such as Doug Clay, Donna Barrett (General Secretary of the AG), Tim Barker (AG’s South Texas District Superintendent), Don Weihe (Secretary of the AG’s South Texas District), Gaylan Claunch (AG’s North Texas District Superintendent) and E. Scott Martin (Senior National Director of Chi Alpha) in his call for resignations. “I, as an ordained minister in good standing with the Assemblies of God, call on Doug Clay… and others to speak up, take responsibility and, where necessary, to resign. And with some, that will be necessary,” Armstrong stated.

Jeff Gravis, a pastor at Central Assembly of God in Haughton, Louisiana, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the need for accountability among AG leaders. He highlighted ongoing investigations by AG’s South Texas District and North Texas District, which have faced criticism for perceived lack of independence. Gravis asserted, “If the investigations reveal that you were warned and did nothing but passed the buck and kicked the can down the road, repentance and resignations are appropriate.

“You failed in your duties, put people at risk and have been grossly negligent in the offices you were placed in to serve” Garvis continued.

The pastors’ pleas for justice and accountability to be maintained within the highest levels of the AG denomination underscore the critical importance of transparency and accountability that leadership must maintain. They point out that AG churches provide financial support to ministers overseeing Chi Alpha chapters, highlighting the moral imperative to prioritize individuals’ well-being over institutional considerations.

“When the institutions become more important than the people, we have a problem. And that seems to be the case today in the Assemblies of God,” Armstrong declared. {eoa}

Deported Evangelist Sends Dire Warning to American Believers

When Torben Søndergaard and his family fled religious persecution in Denmark in 2019, they thought they would find refuge in the United States. They never expected the treatment they would receive from the U.S. government.

Leaving Denmark with only their suitcases, Søndergaard continued his ministry, The Last Reformation, in America. Then last year, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials canceled Søndergaard’s visa waiver without his knowledge and arrested him. First, authorities told him it was for charges of gun smuggling. Then it was changed to overstaying his visa.

Treated Like a Dangerous Criminal

The Christian minister was incarcerated in the federal wing of the Baker County Jail in Macclenny, Florida, spending his first 10 days in solitary confinement. He told us he was forced to wear a red jumpsuit, which is used to identify high-risk and violent inmates, even though he has no criminal background.

After 412 days in jail, more than a year, Søndergaard was deported to Denmark, which he immediately left to reunite with his family in another, undisclosed nation.

Now, in his first media interview since being deported, Torben told CBN News how shocked he was to be imprisoned in America.

“I think the biggest thing was shock,” Søndergaard said. “I did not understand how this could happen in a country like America, where there’s so many Christians and churches and ministries.”

Søndergaard told us that inside the facility, he faced a level of hostility and intimidation from ICE officers that was different from the treatment of other detainees.

He said, “I had people come to me and say, ‘What is happening to you? What is happening here? They don’t treat anyone else like this.’ There was intimidation. I had some encounters with the ICE officers that were very unusual, and it was very frightening to be there. So, in that way, yeah, my case was different.”

At a House subcommittee hearing in July, the Chairman of the Border Security and Enforcement Subcommittee, Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA), accused the Biden Administration of targeting and persecuting Søndergaard.

Søndergaard Believes Persecution Is Coming for All Believers

Søndergaard believes his experience is a warning to the church that persecution is coming.

“We think (persecution) is for the few extreme (Christians) out there. And we think we are safe if we just don’t do like them. And maybe it’s just a few now, but it’s a few now and then in a short time it will be the many. And in the future, it will be everyone who confesses Jesus as Lord.” {eoa}

GenZers’ Faith Debunking Myth They’ve Given Up on Jesus

For those of you who have given up on the GenZ generation to carry on Jesus’ mighty work in the future, think again.

Wednesday’s annual See You at the Pole Day was enough to dispel those notions, and event promotion coordinator Doug Clark says from the reports he’s received throughout the United States, young people are flocking back to God in big numbers.

“Kids are hungry. They are hungry for Jesus,” Clark, also the National Field Director of National Network of Youth Ministries, told Charisma News in an exclusive interview Wednesday. “We’ve been extremely encouraged by the social media posts and the photos we’ve seen from See You at the Pole 2023, and they’re coming in from all over the country. The numbers are way up over last year. It’s been an incredible day.

“Thank you to everyone who participated. We are blown away by how See You at the Pole 2023 went! We give God all the glory and pray that He starts a movement out of this moment. We hope you are all encouraged and determined to see more regular prayer in your schools! It starts with you.”

As of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Clark says he received reports from students at schools in 44 states that participated in the early-morning event. The annual event began as a grassroots movement in 1990 with 10 students praying at one school.

“We haven’t seen this much participation since before the pandemic. And, of course, COVID-19 was just a scheme of the enemy to try to interrupt any momentum Jesus was gaining among young people at that time. Before our event this year, a lot of people were asking for resources from us to help stage it at their school, an increase of 35% from 2022. That’s pretty encouraging too.”

With the large turnouts, when asked if he thought schools were relaxing their policies to squelch religious freedom in America, Clark says the answer to the question is “bittersweet.”

“Yes, a lot of that is political, but I think it also has to do with the rates of depression and suicide among our young children, which are indicators of a big mental health problem,” Clark says. “But then it also creates an openness to the gospel.

“We know the road that these kids are taking is difficult, but our country is ripe for awakening. There is no other solution in our country than a profound movement of the Holy Spirit. It’s got to come from God. And when He really begins to move, we’ll be ready.”

Clark says young people are curious about Jesus, and that they are open to hear about and learn about him. What they are seeing in churches today, however, is a different story.

“There’s a lot of infighting going on in the churches, and that’s not attractive to them,” Clark says. “We’re accountable for how we behave in front of this next generation. It grieves that other things take priority instead of us recognizing how important it is to give these kids Jesus. That’s simply vital right now.”

On Wednesday, Focus on the Family posted this message on its Facebook page: “Despite the pressure of the world to stand down and be quiet, the youth of this generation are still gathering under God to pray for those around them. Amen!”

Another big kingdom event for schools is fast approaching. Bring your Bible to School Day is set for Thursday, Oct. 5. {eoa}

Are Churches Trading Freedom for Security with AI Surveillance?

Technology in its base form is inherently neutral, just like any other tool be it digital or analog.

It all depends on how the person using it wields the tool that determines if it has been used for good or for evil.

This argument has taken on a new form as artificial intelligence has grown in leaps and bounds all within the last couple of years.

Is AI as neutral as a shovel, Facebook account or knife? It would depend on who programmed and operates the algorithm.

As humanity continues to find new, innovative ways to utilize AI for the good of mankind, warnings have poured out from the very programmers who helped create the artificial systems about the risks and dangers associated with AI.

Christians in particular are especially wary of AI, as it has been linked with the implementation of the prophesied mark of the beast, from the book of Revelation in the end times.

One church however, Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California, is trying to formulate a way to use AI to help strengthen the security over their congregation.

Speaking to writer, author and podcaster Billy Hallowell on his “Higher Ground with Billy Hallowell” podcast, Matt Montana, director of safety for Valley Baptist explained how he and his church are using AI to stop potential mass shootings before they happen.

“I came on staff here a little over three years ago after retiring from law enforcement,” Montana said. “And as I assessed the safety needs of our community. … I really felt it was important to kind of identify some sort of technology that would allow us to identify if somebody had weapons on our campus.”

Montana later discovered the company, ZeroEyes, which touts a “human-verified proactive gun detection and situational awareness software that integrates into existing digital security cameras with a mission to stop mass shootings and gun-related violence.”

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up-to-date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

As the Christian Post reported, ZeroEyes was founded by a team of former Navy SEALs and technology experts whose COO, Rob Huberty, joined the podcast to discuss how the company came about in 2018 after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

“A bunch of us, we saw a video of the shooter who was out, and he had his gun out in front of a camera, and he actually talked to another student. He said, ‘Get out of here. It’s going to be bad,'” Huberty explains. “And we said, ‘There’s an opportunity here to see a gun and do something before anything happens. What if somebody was watching this?'”

Exploring how they could utilize technology, and AI specifically, to help prevent another mass shooting, they set to work creating a digital infrastructure to recognize and neutralize a mass shooter as soon as possible.

“We took images of ourselves carrying guns on these types of cameras, and we just compiled a massive database for what the definition of a gun is,” Huberty explained, that if security cameras pick up any gun the technology will flag that weapon. “If there’s an image, it’s going to send out an alert, and it’s going to give that image of that location.”

Emergency services would then be alerted to this event and must appropriately.

But one particular question comes to mind about an AI security system being installed in a house of worship with a direct line to first responders: How could this technology be misused in the wrong hands?

An old adage states: “The pathway to hell is paved with good intentions,” and it appears this is all done with the safety of parishioners in mind.

But there is a very real evil that is threatening this world. An evil that wants to see more events like the tragedy which took place in Charleston back in 2015, spread across the world. That same evil also seeks to silence the gospel of Jesus Christ, and having a system in place in churches across the U.S. that would allow them to be monitored could unintentionally become a Trojan Horse of religious persecution.

The recent pandemic showed all Americans that there are those in government who would shut down every church they could in a heartbeat. There are still lawsuits ongoing in states like California over the unjust and unconstitutional persecution some of the churches faced during the lockdowns.

How much worse would it be with an AI monitoring system in place keeping track of who attends the services, and what is being said during those same services?

To be clear, none of this seems to be the intent of the company Mr. Hallowell talked to about increasing security, a noble objective in and of itself. But there remains the potential of unintended consequences should the coding and operation of such AI programs enter into the wrong hands.

The technology is here, today, it is no longer the stuff of science fiction. How this new technology will be used in the very near future, however, remains to be seen.

One thing is certain, that God always has been and always will be in control (see Joshua 1:9). {eoa}

University Officials, Alabama Governor Refuse to Bow to Satan’s Schemes

On Sept. 12, in a show of hunger for Christ among GenZers, hundreds of students claimed their allegiance to Christ at Auburn University in Alabama during a night of worship called Unite Auburn at Neville Arena. The event drew a great deal of media coverage and, afterwards, many were baptized in a lake by Auburn’s Red Barn.

Organized by Tonya Prewett and her husband, Chad Prewett, an assistant for the Auburn men’s basketball team, the event was also promoted by head men’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl and head baseball coach Butch Thompson. Head football coach Hugh Freeze, a devout Christian, participated in helping students baptize others.

Students at nearby Snead State Community College also took part.

Unfortunately, the enemy is taking his best shot at squelching enthusiasm for Jesus at this major university in the south. The Lord certainly isn’t buying into Satan’s schemes, and neither are government officials. The event drew attention from the atheist group Freedom From Religion Foundation, who claimed the evening of worship was “unconstitutional.” The FRFF wrote a letter to the university condemning it.

Clearly, religious freedom at a public university has come under fire, but some Auburn officials, including Pearl, as well as Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey refused to back down.

Ivey responded on X, formerly Twitter, by writing; “I am proud to stand in support of religious liberty at Snead State College and Auburn University. As governor, I can assure you Alabama will never be intimidated by out-of-state interest groups dedicated to destroying our nation’s religious heritage.”

Fox5 Atlanta reported that Ivey sent a letter to FRFF which “calls their complaints about the after-hours worship service “misleading and misguided.”

“Here in Alabama, we stand with [Snead State] President [Joe] Whitmore; coaches Freeze, Pearl and Thompson; and countless other Alabamians who see to be true to themselves—and to God—as they live out their lives and see to do their jobs to the best of their abilities.”

She reminded the FRFRF of the Alabama state motto, “We dare defend our rights.”

Pearl defended his actions in a report by a local newspaper, The Observer, by saying after years of hosting a similar event called “Ignite,” he, his wife Brandy, as well as Chad and Tonya Prewett “wanted to do something to help organize the students who were of Christian faith.”

“Chad and Tonya Prewett are the ones who absolutely ran with this,” Pearl told the newspaper. “The idea to simply have a night of worship, to have two incredible speakers and to allow the students to want to have a closer connection to both God as well as in the church community.”

After the event, the Unite Auburn X account read, “We are still speechless in awe of what God did … Hundreds of students were baptized at Red Barn. Thousands cheered as they were raised from death to life. God is moving on Auburn’s campus and it doesn’t stop here.”

The Asbury Revival held earlier this year sparked a number of overwhelming responses to Jesus on several other campuses around the nation, giving an indication that, although many may be fed up with traditional Christianity, young adults are flocking to Jesus in great numbers these days. {eoa}

Jonathan Cahn: Is the Church Sleeping Through God’s Prophetic Timeline?

Jonathan Cahn agrees with many fellow believers that our God is a God of mercy. But the bestselling author of “The Josiah Manifesto” also believes that He is a God of justice, and that His judgment is going to fall on America for it’s sins, including those of the church.

Many Christians in this day want to believe that the Lord is, as podcast interviewer and deliverance minister Isaiah Saldivar says, a “real cuddly, cute, real comfortable Jesus.” There is no fear or reverence of God in the American church, and many in our country and even the church have mocked God and “spit in his face,” thinking that God will be silent and not respond.

Galatians 6:7-8 reads, “Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows from the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.”

America and parts of the church within it have sown to their own flesh with corruption, murder and outright debauchery.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up-to-date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

“Remember, it’s what we sowed, not what God sowed,” Cahn told Saldivar during the recent podcast. “This is not God’s will. God wants mercy, but He has got to oppose evil. He cannot say it’s OK. That would be evil to say it’s OK. He is saying it, and the Bible is true.

“It’s not only the time, it’s also the place. When Jeremiah spoke to the Valley of Hinnom, he said it’s going to come back to this valley because where you shed the blood, that’s where it’s coming back. Do we have a valley of Hinnom? Yes, we do, and that is New York because New York not only introduced abortion to the continent, but it’s also been the capital of abortion in America. More blood has been shed there than any other place. When the plague came to America, it came through New York and that became the focal point of that whole thing. The Bible says judgment comes to the gate. Well, what is the gate of America? It’s New York.”

Biblical prophecy is coming to pass in the United States, but a great deal of the American church is missing—or sleeping through—God’s prophetic timeline. And it’s a subject that Cahn addresses well in “The Josiah Manifesto.”

“It’s absolutely shocking to see the parallels line up,” Saldivar says. “I hate to say it because it’s cliché, but you just can’t make this stuff up. This is such a divine timeline. It makes sense of what a lot of people have tried to figure out or make sense of. We see all of the Old Testament prophets crying out for what was happening to the innocent, crying out for the people of God in bondage. Here we are again, thousands of years later, and you know God has, praise the Lord, raised you [Cahn] up as a prophetic voice in this hour to reveal what He’s doing in His plan.”

Satan is certainly not being lukewarm in his attacks on America and the church. But the church, somehow, has remained lukewarm in its response.

But now is the time, Cahn says—the defining moment—for the church to raise its voice and become unapologetic for its zeal for God. It’s time for many in the church to “break their altars,” those things in culture that have captured our attention and taken it away from our one true God.

“One of things about that I put in ‘The Josiah Manifesto’ is that Jesus was born for His time,” Cahn says. “He was actually prophesied centuries before. I’m saying He was born for His age. And that is true for us. We are born for this age and if the age is more dramatic with darkness—it’s more radical in the dark—then we’re born to be more radically light. This is the most exciting time.

“People are praying, ‘I wish I lived in Bible times.’ Congratulations. We’re in Bible times now. This is the final chapter. Rise to it because that’s what it’s all about. That’s what Josiah did and God used him. God’s doing to do it with you, too.” {eoa}

“People are praying, ‘I wish I lived in Bible times.’ Congratulations. We’re in Bible times now. This is the final chapter. Rise to it because that’s what it’s all about. That’s what Josiah did and God used him. God’s doing to do it with you, too.” {eoa}
