Prophetic Dream: A Tsunami Wave of God’s Goodness Will Roll Over You

The Lord’s been showing me some additional things about the season we’ve just been through. You may recall not long ago I wrote an article about how many, myself included, have just been through a season of loss, and the Lord showed me that what’s been lost will be replaced with something better than before.

It’s not fun to go through a season like that. But recently I awoke early one morning to the Lord’s presence, and He began talking to me about how He’s been working to conform us into His image. Immediately I thought of Romans 8:28-29. You might be familiar with verse 28, which is an oft quoted verse about all things working together for good to those who love God and are the called according to His purpose. But perhaps less quoted is verse 29, which is a continuation of that thought. It says: “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren” (NKJV).

Then I began seeing the number 2021 over and over again. Since I wasn’t quite fully awake, I’m like, “Lord, isn’t it 2022? Why do I keep seeing 2021?” At which point I heard, “There’s something 2021 did in us that’s been necessary to conform us into the image of His Son.”

I don’t know about you, but I’ve discovered talking about being conformed to His image is not the most popular message to bring. It’s not likely to prompt the most likes, comments or shares. But unless we allow Him to continually mold us into His image, we’ll never reach that desired promotion—that upgrade—that will allow us to walk in the fullness of power that’s coming.

A Tsunami Wave

After that, I fell back asleep and had a dream. My husband and I were among a number of people who had learned a tsunami was coming. As you might expect, many people were scrambling to higher ground. But for some reason my husband and I didn’t do that, and even in the dream, I understood this was not the typical response to make.

I awoke not quite sure what to make of this dream. Why didn’t we seek higher ground? Then I heard, “A tsunami wave of His goodness is going to roll over you. A tsunami wave of His love.”

Friends, I don’t know what this is going to look like, but I know it’s going to be good! I believe the word of being conformed to His image is connected to this wave that’s about to hit. You may have just come through a season of loss but for those who’ve allowed Him to work in the process, a wave of His love and goodness is imminent!

“Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me” (Ps. 42:7).

Write the Vision

The Lord’s also been speaking to me about Habakkuk’s vision. On January 2, 2022, the Lord gave me Habakkuk 2:2-3, which reads: “…’Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'”

I see fresh prophetic revelation coming in 2022 for those who have been commissioned by the Lord to release vision to His people. Whether you are called to write, blog, preach, teach or podcast—or whatever form it takes—I see the Lord getting ready to release fresh revelation from heaven.

It’s time to shake off the dust from the last season. 2022 is your year to write the vision and make it plain… that he may run who reads it!

Abundance, Recovery and Fruit

A theme I’ve been hearing for several years now is that the Lord is going to recover what’s been stolen from you. Just lately I heard, “What has been stolen from you will be returned!” I think some of this speaks to things of a financial nature, but anything the thief (Satan) has stolen from you qualifies—including identity (see John 10:10). I believe we’re in a Zechariah 9:12 season, in which the Lord has declared He will restore double to you!

The natural realm might continue to exhibit shortages and bare shelves, but what I hear the Lord say about this new era is, “It’s an abundant era!” I see this as not just financial provision for God’s kingdom people, but a time of personal harvest as well. I’ve had recurring dreams in which I’ve seen the generations aligning and an abundance of ripe fruit.

Let me prophesy to you now: “I see a generational mantle coming upon you. If you have a job or position in which you work for someone else, you can work your way up. If you have your own business or ministry, you can expand. Your harvest might not look quite the way you expect, but you will see much fruit! In accordance with Matthew 25:29, I declare that for those who have been found faithful, this will be an era of abundance!”

“For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away” (Matt. 25:29). {eoa}

John Eckhardt Says These Actions Will Add Fuel to the Revival Fire We Are Seeing

Prayer and confession of the Word of God are two of the most powerful weapons believers have. Together they can help to bring victory over any demonic opposition. You will see a great release of God’s power when these two are combined.

I began writing Scripture-based prayers as I studied the Word of God. The Holy Spirit illuminated many scriptures to me that needed to be released through prayer. I began to see clearly the plan of God for believers and how the enemy wanted to stop that plan. The Lord taught me the importance of praying the Word to overcome spiritual resistance to the plan of God for my life.

The prayers were forged over a period of many years and were birthed out of warfare and deliverance. They came from years of experience in ministering to individuals and nations. As I was gaining this experience, the Holy Spirit helped me understand many scriptures and how to use them in prayer. You can find the prayers I wrote, which are based on the Word of God, in my book Prayers That Rout Demons.

Prayer is one of the ways we release the will of God upon the earth. We must study the Word of God in order to know the will of God. This is why prayer and the Word must be combined. Daniel was able to pray effectively because he knew the Word of God concerning God’s people (Dan. 9:2–3).

We should pray with understanding (1 Cor. 14:15). Understanding the will of God will help us pray correctly. The Word of God is the will of God. We are not to be unwise but understanding of what the will of the Lord is (Eph. 5:17). Prayer also helps us walk perfectly and completely in all the will of God (Col. 4:12).

Praying and Confessing the Word

Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Prov. 18:21). Right words are forcible (Job 6:25). The words we speak are spirit and life (John 6:63). We can be snared by the words of our mouths. We need to articulate the thoughts of God by praying and confessing His Word (Isa. 55:8). God’s Word released through our tongues will cause His power to manifest in our lives.

Words are used to convey our thoughts. The words of God are the thoughts of God. We are releasing the mind of God when we pray and confess His Word. The thoughts of God are peace and prosperity (Jer. 29:11). They are designed to bring us to an expected end.

Jesus taught us that our faith is released through our words (Mark 11:23). Our faith-filled words can move mountains. There is nothing impossible to those who believe. Our faith is a key to seeing miracles and breakthrough on a consistent basis. Whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive (Matt. 21:22).

The Word is near us (Rom. 10:8). The Word is in our mouths and hearts. This is the Word of faith. The mouth and the heart are connected. We speak from the abundance of the heart. The Word of God in our hearts will come through our mouths. Faith in the heart will be released through our mouths. God watches over His Word to perform it (Jer. 1:12).

God Hears and Answers Our Prayers

We are encouraged to call upon the Lord. He has promised to show us great and mighty things (Jer. 33:3). The Lord delights in our prayers. He delights in answering our prayers. Before we call, He will answer (Isa. 65:24). The Lord’s ears are open unto the prayers of the righteous (1 Pet. 3:12). The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). We are told to pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17).

Our God hears prayer. All flesh should come to Him in prayer (Ps. 65:2). All believers have similar challenges and must overcome them. God is no respecter of persons. He is near to all who call upon Him (Ps. 145:18). The Lord will hear your supplication and will receive your prayer (Ps. 6:9).

Calling upon the Lord will bring salvation and deliverance from your enemies (Ps. 18:3). This has always been a key to deliverance. You can pray yourself out of any adverse situation. The Lord is your helper. God will not turn away your prayer (Ps. 66:20). God will not despise your prayer (Ps. 102:17). The prayer of the upright is God’s delight (Prov. 15:8).

Prayers Bring Victory Over the Enemy

We have been given the keys of the kingdom (Matt. 16:19). This gives us the authority to bind and loose. To bind means to restrict, stop, hinder, fetter, check, hold back, arrest, or put a stop to. To loose means to untie, unbind, unlock, liberate, release, forgive, or free. Keys represent the authority to lock (bind) or unlock (loose). Prayer and confession are two of the ways we use this authority. We can bind the works of darkness, which include sickness, disease, hurt, witchcraft, poverty, death, destruction, confusion, defeat and discouragement. We can loosen ourselves and others from the works of darkness. This will result in greater liberty and prosperity.

Binding and loosing will help us in the area of deliverance. We can loosen ourselves from many things by using our authority. We can loosen others by praying these prayers. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. He came that we might have life in abundance.

Believers must know and operate in authority. Jesus gave His disciples power and authority over all devils (Matt. 10:1). We are seated with Christ in heavenly places far above all principalities and powers (Eph. 1:20, 2:6). Believers can use this authority through prayer and confession. We have authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). Jesus promised that nothing would hurt us. Many believers suffer unnecessarily because they fail to exercise their authority.

Scripture-based prayers are for believers who have a hatred for the works of darkness (Ps. 139:21). Do you hate every false way (Ps. 119:104)? Do you want to see changes in your city, region and nation? You are a king, and you have the power to change geographic regions (Eccl. 8:4). The fear of the Lord is to hate evil (Prov. 8:13).

Prayers based on the Word are designed to demolish strongholds. God’s Word is like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces (Jer. 23:29). We need powerful prayers to demolish these strongholds. These prayers are for those who want to see breakthroughs in their personal lives as well as in their cities, regions and nations.

Satan has been defeated through the cross. Principalities and powers have been spoiled (Col. 2:15). We are enforcing this victory through our prayers. We are executing the judgments written. This honor is given to all His saints. The saints have possessed the kingdom (Dan. 7:18). This means we have authority with the King to advance the reign of Christ over the nations.

David was a king who understood the place of prayer in victory. He had many victories over his enemies. He saw mighty deliverance through prayer. He prayed for the defeat of his enemies and God answered him. We will have the same results over our spiritual enemies. We are not wrestling against flesh and blood. We must overcome principalities and powers with the armor of God. We must take the sword of the Spirit and pray with all prayer (Eph. 6:12–18).

Eckhardt PrayersThe prayers of David ended with Psalm 72:20. In the previous verse of this psalm, he prayed that the whole earth would be filled with God’s glory (v. 19). This is the end of prayer. We believe that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Hab. 2:14). This is our goal. We will continue to pray toward the fulfillment of this promise. We will see the growth of God’s kingdom and the destruction of the powers of darkness through our prayers.

Revival and glory are increasing, and our prayers are adding fuel to the revival fire. {eoa}

If You’re Drifting Aimlessly, It’s Time to Step Onto God’s Lifeboat

Do you feel stuck on your healthy living journey? Maybe you’re just getting started or you have lost weight and have gotten to a place where you just feel stuck, and you want to give up.

Maybe it seems impossible for you to go forward, and you just want to find out what is holding you back.

In 2020, I wrote my sixth book, Sweet Surrender: Breaking Strongholds. That resulted in me also putting together a course called Breaking Strongholds, which is available in Overcomers Academy. Now it’s 2022, and I want to share some of that information with you. It will still be helpful for you to read my book that includes action steps and take the course by joining Overcomers. The course goes even deeper.

What Needs to Change?

The devil has us bound up in strongholds and that’s why you don’t think you can go forward on your healthy living journey. You know what you want to do but you just can’t get over something that is in your way, and yet you really aren’t sure what that is.

On the surface, you know you need to lose weight and move more, and you want to do that. You are even aware that you have some bad habits, but you can’t seem to start on the process to change them.

You feel like your relationship with God is good. Still, you can’t figure out why you can’t do what you want to do, which is lose weight so you can look and feel better. I get it. I was there for way too many years.

Icebergs and Me

One day I was jogging in the water at my favorite community indoor pool. From out of the blue, God said to me, “Most people are like icebergs. They see only what is on the surface of their lives. They are afraid to look at everything below the surface that they think is keeping them afloat.”

I did a little research when I got home and found out that only one-tenth of an iceberg shows above the water. That means nine-tenths is hidden below the surface. It can be hidden 600 to 700 feet below the water level. When melted, it can fill 462 million Olympic-sized swimming pools.

That’s a whole lot of junk below the surface that ship captains can’t see. When they hit it, they sink like the Titanic. That hidden part of the iceberg is the deadly part. God said it relates to people so let’s apply this to ourselves. If we are an iceberg, only 10% of us is visible to ourselves and any others, even casual acquaintances or people we meet on the street. That means the deadly 90 percent of us is hidden. This is the part we and others can’t see.

Parts of the Iceberg

As an iceberg, we might be able to peer down in front of us and see some of what is below the surface that others who are behind us can’t see, and we don’t want them to see. It’s covered by our shadow. We keep it a secret. It’s the part we keep to ourselves and don’t let anyone else see. For me, this used to be my secret stash of candy I kept in my desk drawer and under the bed and in my closet and under the car seat. I’m glad those days are behind me.

The folks behind us, like our family and close friends, can see what we can’t see. They see the part just below the surface. That’s our blind spot. The blind spot might be like the note someone secretly slaps on our back that says “Kick Me.” It’s also the things that you don’t even acknowledge or recognize about yourself.

It’s how others perceive you. This can be good or bad. Having people who will be honest with us and tell us what are in our blind spots that we can’t see about ourselves are gifts from God. However, we have to be willing to hear their honesty.

Danger Ahead

Taking all of this into consideration, there is still 70% that is so deep, it is hidden that no other person can see it. This is the dangerous part of you. This is the part of you that keeps you being an iceberg. The tons of ice below the surface are what support the visible part of the iceberg.

When an iceberg dissolves, it dies. It may dissolve slowly when it comes in contact with warmer water that laps over on the sides. Or it may break apart quickly when it crashes into a rock or landmass. Eventually, though, an iceberg will die, unless it stays in cold temperatures forever.

If we liken ourselves to the iceberg, we have to begin addressing the roots of what has been keeping us afloat as what we are right now. This is scary for a number of reasons. We think we’ve got everything in place to live a somewhat normal life. Every part of the iceberg has been developed to keep us afloat.

God to the Rescue

Icebergs are dangerous, so dangerous we don’t even want to know what is keeping us afloat. We must address that and step over onto God’s lifeboat that can help us get where we want to go instead of aimlessly floating along, dragging tons of stuff we don’t need with us.

This is how I felt when I was super, morbidly obese. I knew I had tons of mental and emotional baggage I was dragging around with me, but I didn’t know how to get rid of it. I know now this was not just mental and emotional; it was also spiritual.

The hidden part of me contained lies I had begun to believe when I was a child. They started out as small things, half-truths maybe, but as I fed them with other misperceptions, they began to grow into strongholds, which really are just lies that keep us from fully believing the truths of God.

Finding Truth

Jesus was pretty clear when He said, “All who love Me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them. Anyone who doesn’t love Me will not obey Me. And remember, My words are not My own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent Me,” (John 14:23-24, NLT).

What Jesus saying here is what Grandma used to say to me, and probably what your mom or Grandma said a time or two. “Actions speak louder than words.” In other words, we are saying one thing and doing another. We have internalized lies that have grown into strongholds. These keep us from some of God’s greatest treasures—His truth.

It’s always God’s revealed truth that breaks the stronghold and sets us free. When we experience His truth in any area, we will be set free in that area.

I love John 8:31-32 (MSG). “Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. ‘If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you.'” {eoa}

Why Believers Should Not Put Limitations on 1 Peter 5:7

The Bible is full of reassurances, promises and encouragements. One of my favorites is God’s invitation for us to cast our problems on Him, for He cares for us (1 Pet. 5:7). How amazing it is that our Almighty God has the capacity and concern for all our burdens.

To be clear, 1 Peter 5:7 does not tell us to cast some or many of our burdens upon the Lord. The Lord invites us to cast all our cares on Him. All is a very big word. Though only one syllable of three letters, it has no limits in its scope and no cutoff points in its application. All includes the great and the small, the major and the minor adversities we face. The same Lord who handles our bigger problems is intimately concerned about our smaller ones. This is a precious, personal promise we can discover in times of adversity.

If you know the Lord, you know the God of small things. He isn’t merely concerned about the massive issues of life. He is a God of the details, and nothing is beyond His scope. The same divine hand that created the Giant Sequoias of California also made the Wolffia, the smallest flowering plant on earth. It’s a perfectly beautiful miniature; five thousand of them can fit into a thimble. Each has one stamen, one pistil and a lovely but tiny bloom. God designed it almost microscopically.

In the same way, the same God who flung the galaxies through the vastness of space also formed the tiny atom with its protons, neutrons and electrons. To Him, no problem is large because He is all powerful; and no problem is small because He is all loving.

In Zechariah 4:10, the exiles who returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple were disheartened because it seemed small and plain compared to the original temple of Solomon, which had been destroyed. But the Lord warned them against despising “the day of small things.” Their work wasn’t small to God, nor was the significance of what they were doing.

If you feel your life is small, and your work and influence is insignificant, remember that God delights in small things, and the word all in 1 Peter 5:7 includes His concerns about the small problems that vex us.

After all, small problems can add just enough weight to our hearts to cause a major collapse. Imagine coming home from cancer treatment and getting a flat tire. By itself, a flat isn’t a life-altering event. But if it occurs when we’re already worried, exhausted and spent, it’s like the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Small problems can also grow into bigger ones. It’s like the crack in your windshield after a piece of gravel hits it. At first, you hardly notice the little spot. But unattended, it soon spreads like a spider’s web across the glass.

That’s one reason God wants to help us with the smaller concerns of life. They add weight to our hearts and, if unattended, they can grow into bigger issues quickly.

A writer of yesteryear wrote in an old devotional book, “How many of what may be called the small things of this life we are anxious about, while the great concerns we leave with God! Now, why can we not commit ourselves into His hands for the small as well as the great? Let us not forget that He rules the atom as well as the world, that He feeds the humming-bird as well as the eagle, that He provides the crust as well as the feast, that He numbers the hairs of your head as well as the stars of the firmament. Shall He uphold all things, and not uphold you?”

As we learn to trust God for smaller things, we’ll learn to trust Him with larger issues. Bill Bright said, “As we learn to trust God in small things, our faith grows until we are able to trust Him in greater things.”

So cast all your cares on Him, because there is no one else who can truly handle them all, big and small. {eoa}

Eternal Healing Through Eternal Life

Journaling submitted by Ruth Wilson

Ruth: Lord, my friend Dani died! I thought she was being healed! Lord, we saw visions of her running and fully healed, and she was making wonderful progress physically! Her cancer was confirmed gone! But what happened? Did we not pray hard enough? Did I let my friend down? How did I miss something?

I see Jesus—His eyes are blue and like diamonds. His smile is HUGE. Jesus is happy that she is with Him.

Ruth, Dani is with Me; she is home. You did great!

Lord, can I see her? And then I see her. She looks great! She is busy and excited, hardly has time to chat—so busy with everything, dancing, setting up things, etc. She runs over to me and is excited to see me but has so many great things to do. My heart wants to say something, but I cannot bring sadness into this. I look at Jesus, and He comes to me and Dani. He stands between us with His arms around us both. He looks at us and says, “Forever sisters and sisters forever.” My heart needed this!

Dani is home. Death is not dead—she is home.

Ruth: Lord, all the prayers, visions, she saw them. I saw some. Others saw some. We KNEW she was healed. We took her to prayer conferences and before they prayed, the prayer ministers knew—they said she is healed.

Healing did happen. She is totally healed now. Dani lived in the kingdom of heaven/God on earth. She saw Me, lived with Me, believed Me, kept eyes on Me. You prayed and believed with all your heart. You loved her. This is living and walking with Me. I wouldn’t ask you to do anything different.

Ruth: Lord, my heart hurts. I don’t like death. I don’t want any more deaths.

Ruth, in Me death is life. (Jesus smiles and starts to laugh.) I hope you have wounds every time! Pray with all your heart. Have passion with all your heart. Love with all your heart. Join Me every time. See Me every time. You joined Me to save her life. Join Me every time with all your heart. Don’t withdraw. Join Me fully. Don’t miss it. Life and death. I’m in it—I’m there. Join Me with all your heart. The goal isn’t to avoid having wounds. Wounds show you loved with all your heart—you did it right. The goal is to love—every time. I heal the wounds.

Ruth: The pain is not there now. Forever sisters and sisters forever—and ever. {eoa}

Spirit-Filled Pastor: The Desperate Need for Holy Fire

I recently spoke in El Paso, Texas, at a large Hispanic church called Vino Nuevo. You can watch the message here with translation.

I appreciated the heart of the pastors I had the privilege of meeting. Their eagerness and desire for revival reminded me of the church where I pastor in Southern California, Westside Christian Fellowship.

Terrifying or Welcoming

My topic that evening was “Are You Desperate for God’s Presence? As most are aware, God’s presence is terrifying for those facing judgment, but His presence is very welcoming, comforting, strengthening and encouraging in the life of a believer.

Throughout Scripture, the word “fire” is used two different ways—the fires of judgment or the fires of the Spirit. Malachi 4:1-3 is a passage where both are happening: The same fire that falls on that day purifies, refines and is “healing” for the righteous, but yet the wicked are turned to ashes under their feet.

Isaiah 66:16 says that the “Lord will execute judgment by fire,” while Matthew 3:11 says that Jesus will baptize believers with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

What fire will you experience? Are you playing games with God and just going through the motions? Are you like the prodigal, satisfied temporarily eating with the pigs, or is it time for you to change your direction and run to the Father?

Do you have religion but not a relationship with the risen Savior? Have you surrendered your life to Christ and repented of sin that leads to judgment?

What a travesty it will be at the end of your journey to find that pride robbed you of the presence of God. Don’t live your life with a question mark here.

The Desperate Need for Holy Fire

I’ve been saying for years that America’s only hope, our only answer, is to be desperate for more of God and pray that He would fill us with His holy fire. We must cry out like the prophet Isaiah, “Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before You” (64:1, NIV).

Oh, that the nations would tremble again at the power of God. Oh, that Washington, D.C. would tremble again and fear Him. Oh, that the churches would once again tremble and desire the power and presence of God.

When you genuinely experience God’s presence through full surrender, the demonic realm is crushed, and countless lives are changed.

It All Begins with Desperation

When God rips heaven open and comes down, His presence changes everything. The Bible comes alive, and we can’t stop worshiping. Hearts are set ablaze for more of God. It all begins with desperation! Desperation! Desperation!

Jeremiah 29:13 reminds us that desperation ushers in the presence of God, and that if we seek God, we will find Him when we search for Him with all of our heart. Jesus also speaks about the power of seeking and asking in Matthew 7:7 when He say, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

A desperate parent does whatever it takes to find a lost child. A desperate soldier does whatever it takes to win the battle. A desperate person does whatever it takes to find God.

Are you desperate for more of God? Are you hungry for righteousness and holiness? Is God an all-consuming passion? It all begins here. There must be desperation.

When the Fire Fades

Over time, if we’re not diligent and disciplined, the fire of God fades. Maybe that describes you. Maybe you’ve lost your passion for God and left your first love. Or maybe you’ve never experienced God before.

When we’re told to seek God, it’s not half-heartedly. We also can’t be passive or apathetic. Seeking is an all-consuming passion to find something. An illustration that I’ve given many times before is that of a child who is lost. If it was your child, would you search for them half-heartedly? Would you search for them later when your schedule permits? Of course not. Desperate people do desperate things. Finding what is lost is now their sole priority.

God, Would You Rend My Heart?

Those who are desperate for God starve the flesh by praying and fasting. They fully surrender their lives to Christ. They stop playing games with God. They pray fervently that God would rend the heavens and come down. God is not many things on their agenda; He is the agenda. God is not one of many priorities; He is the priority!

I ask again, are you truly desperate for God’s presence? Are you hungry for more of Him? As David MacIntrye points out in his book, The Hidden Life of Prayer, when the prodigal son was hungry, he ate with the pigs, but when he was desperate and starving, he ran to his father.

Is your fire fading? Have you grown cold and callous? Then run to God and cry: “Oh God, would You rend my heart?” Return to the Father and experience the tremendous joy of revival. And when you lay hold of Him, never, never, never let go! He hears the desperate cries of His children.

Are you truly desperate for more of His presence? Listen to more here. {eoa}

Holy Spirit Engulfs Native American Tribe Communities

In some respects, the plight of Native Americans hasn’t changed. They face troubling circumstances with issues ranging from substance abuse to a massive COVID-19 impact to an alarming number of missing and murdered women.

“There’s a lot of broken areas, broken communities, and our communities are rampant with drugs,” Crow Tribe member Donna Stands-Over-Bull told CBN News.

God is Moving

Yet, in the midst of the suffering, Stands-Over-Bull and her husband Russell say God is on the move.

“We can feel and sense the rumblings of revival, and when I say revival, I mean people’s hearts turning back to God,” she shared.

“We’ve been having healing revivals over the online church. God’s been healing people through social media. People are giving their hearts to the Lord,” explained Russell Stands-Over-Bull.

The senior pastors of Arrow Creek TV e-church said God called them to start the online fellowship in 2018.

“We couldn’t even comprehend what that would look like, but God put it on our hearts, and we began to establish Arrow Creek TV,” Russell told CBN News. “And Millennials started coming to the church, and I’m so proud of my congregation. We’ve got the best. We’ve got five continents represented.”

“We probably represent the biggest church in the Indian community throughout the U.S.,” he continued.

Deep Revival Roots

Russell said the Pentecostal roots of revival run deep in his family and the Crow Nation. His mother, Sharon Stands-Over-Bull, is also a pastor and Crow elder. She recalled how in 1906, her grandmother attended the Azusa Street Revival in California.

“While they were there, they were privileged to receive the Holy Spirit, and they came back to the Crow Reservation, proclaiming that God is Lord over the Crow Reservation,” Sharon told CBN News.

“Whole communities were touched by the fire of the Holy Spirit, and the Crows eventually became known throughout Indian Country as the center for Pentecost,” explained Russell. “This was the capital for Pentecost, and still is considered that by many neighboring tribes.”

‘Jesus Christ is Lord’

Leaders of the Crow Tribe have even put up a sign, which boldly proclaims that “Jesus Christ is Lord on the Crow Nation.” It also has a Scripture that reads, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance” (Ps. 33:12, KJV).

In addition, the southeast Montana tribe passed a 2013 legislative resolution “to honor God for his great blessings upon the Crow Tribe and to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord of the Crow Indian Reservation.” They also fly the flag of Israel next to the sign.

“The Scripture says that as we stand with Israel, we are a blessed nation, so we held that,” Sharon Stands-Over-Bull said. “And so today, there are ministries throughout the reservation, and people have been saved and healed and shouting the victory.”

“So, I’m just so glad that in my lifetime, I got to be a part of it, and it’s still ongoing,” she added. {eoa}

Prophetic Word: Dead Bones Must Rise Again

The Spirit of the living God would say to you this day,

Dead bones must rise again! Shake off the sleep and the slumber. Press toward the mark of our high calling. Unleash the resurrection power of My Spirit within you. No longer be timid and shy. You have entered into a time when there is no turning back for My beloved—My church.

I have empowered you for this time, this day and this moment. No longer will you remain silent as the world passes away. I have given you a voice; it is time to lift it up and use it for My glory.

Reject the lukewarm waters that are trying to consume you. Refresh yourself with the coolness of My Spirit. And as you quickly refresh, for the time is ever so short, allow the living water within you to heat up until it boils over to all those around you. You have no time to lap in the vomit of passiveness.

That same Spirit that raised Me, the living Christ, from the dead lives within you and is warming up the dead bones—and as you surrender to this life-giving power of Mine, those dead bones will come back to life again.

I am the one whom you want to reach out and touch. And as you do—I will be there to meet you with all power in this last hour. It is time for My people who are called by My name to rise up in the power of My might.

And what is my name? I Am the great I Am. I Am the Messiah—the one true Savior of this world. I bled and died for you because of My great passion for you. You are created in My image, and I am passionate about My Father. And I am passionate for My beloved bride—the church. And you are created to be passionate about Me and My Father.

Although the attacks are strong, My Spirit within you is even stronger. Rise up! Leave that fear behind you. Take courage in knowing that you do not fight this battle alone, for I fight for you. This battle belongs to Me, and you are My mighty warrior destined to conquer, not be conquered.

I call forth the dead bones within the body to rise up with My power as your strength. I call forth a refreshing to the new person within you. I command you to forsake the past, no longer look back with longing for what once was, but stand for hope of My soon return.

Be not afraid in these last days but be strong and courageous. Know that your faith is your shield. And My Word is your sword. The end is predetermined—and you are created to win.

All creation is ready, and the heavens and the earth are beckoning Me to raise up the church in this great hour. I have created you to release My power among the lost inhabitants of this earth. For it is passing away, and it must for My new heaven and the new earth to manifest. Release the kingdom of God on this earth. It’s time; position yourself with My Spirit.

All hell is about to break out. You think, It’s time to run and hide. And I say, “No! it’s not time to run and hide. It’s time for My beloved bride—my church—to allow My resurrection power of life to cause those dead bones to arise.”

Surrender your spirit, soul and body unto Me—allow Me to fight through you.

Thus says the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. {eoa}

ABC Suspends Whoopi Goldberg Over Antisemitic Remarks

Whoopi Goldberg was suspended for two weeks Tuesday as co-host of The View because of what the head of ABC News called her “wrong and hurtful comments” about Jews and the Holocaust.

“While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments. The entire ABC News organization stands in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, family and communities,” ABC News President Kim Godwin said in a statement.

The suspension came a day after Goldberg’s comment during a discussion on The View that race was not a factor in the Holocaust. Goldberg apologized hours later and again on Tuesday’s morning episode, but the original remark drew condemnation from several prominent Jewish leaders.

“My words upset so many people, which was never my intention,” she said Tuesday morning. “I understand why now and for that I am deeply, deeply grateful because the information I got was really helpful and helped me understand some different things.”

Goldberg made her original comments during a discussion on the show Monday about a Tennessee school board’s banning of “Maus,” a Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel about the Nazi death camps during World War II. She said the Holocaust was “not about race … it’s about man’s inhumanity to other man.”

“I misspoke,” Goldberg said at the opening of Tuesday’s show.

The flare-up over Goldberg’s remarks this week highlighted the enduring complexity of some race-related issues, including the widespread but strongly contested notion that only people of color can be victims of racism.

“Effective immediately, I am suspending Whoopi Goldberg for two weeks for her wrong and hurtful comments,” Godwin said in her statement.

The View brought on Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League and author of It Could Happen Here, on Tuesday to discuss why her words had been hurtful.

“Jewish people at the moment are feeling besieged,” Greenblatt said.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, praised Goldberg for being outspoken over the years on social issues but said he struggled to understand her statement on the Holocaust.

“The only explanation that I have for it is that there is a new definition of racism that has been put out there in the public recently that defines racism exclusively as the targeting of people of color. And obviously history teaches us otherwise,” Cooper said.

“Everything about Nazi Germany and about the targeting of the Jews and about the Holocaust was about race and racism. That’s the unfortunate, unassailable historic fact,” he said.

Kenneth L. Marcus, chairman of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, linked Goldberg’s remarks to broader misconceptions of the Holocaust, Jewish identity and antisemitism.

“In her error, she was reflecting a misunderstanding of Jewish identity that is both widespread and dangerous that is sometimes described as erasive antisemitism,” said Marcus, who is the author of The Definition of Anti-Semitism.

“It is the notion that Jews should be viewed only as being white, privileged oppressors,” he said. “It denies Jewish identity and involves a whitewashing of Jewish history.”

Marcus referred to the use of anti-Jewish stereotypes “about being powerful, controlling and sinister,” coupled with downplaying or denying antisemitism.

In Israel, being Jewish is rarely seen in racial terms, in part because of the country’s great diversity. Yet Jewish identity goes far beyond religion. Israelis typically refer to the “Jewish people” or “Jewish nation,” describing a group or civilization bound together by a shared history, culture, language and traditions and deep ties to Jewish communities overseas.

On The View Monday, Goldberg, who is Black, had expressed surprise that some Tennessee school board members were uncomfortable about nudity in “Maus.”

“I mean, it’s about the Holocaust, the killing of 6 million people, but that didn’t bother you?” she said. “If you’re going to do this, then let’s be truthful about it. Because the Holocaust isn’t about race. No, it’s not about race.”

She continued on that line despite pushback from some of her fellow panelists.

The U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington responded to Goldberg with a tweet.

“Racism was central to Nazi ideology. Jews were not defined by religion, but by race. Nazi racist beliefs fueled genocide and mass murder,” it said.

That tweet also included a link to the museum’s online encyclopedia, which said the Nazis attributed negative stereotypes about Jews to a biologically determined racial heritage.

On Twitter, there were several calls for Goldberg’s firing, where it appeared caught up in the familiar debates between left and right.

Greenblatt said the talk show, in the market for a new co-host following last summer’s departure of Meghan McCain, should consider hiring a Jewish woman to keep the issue of antisemitism in the forefront. {eoa}

‘Freedom Convoy’ Truckers Pause for Prayer Amid Protest

Vowing to remain stationed at the border, truckers with the so-called “Freedom Convoy” were captured on video Monday reciting the Lord’s Prayer as they gathered inside a nearby restaurant.

The prayer came amid tension between Canadian law enforcement officers and truck drivers protesting stringent government mandates requiring unvaccinated truckers commit to two weeks of isolation as well as produce negative COVID-19 tests before being allowed to re-enter Canada. Similar mandates have been put in place by President Joe Biden.

Truckers agreed to open up one lane of traffic, allowing residents, school bus drivers and emergency personnel to pass through, according to Rebel News, whose reporters are on the ground in Coutts, Alberta, at the border.

At some point during the decision-making process, some of the truckers thought it wise to pray:

Alberta Premier Jason Kennedy condemned the truckers, tweeting Monday that their protest “is causing significant inconvenience for lawful motorists and could dangerously impede movement of emergency service vehicles.”
