Why the Veterans Affairs COVID Shot Mandate Violates the Law

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) sent an email to all employees mandating that all its health care personnel receive the COVID-19 shots. The mandate gives each employee eight weeks to comply, and employees will receive four hours of paid administrative leave after demonstrating they have gotten the shot.

Since the mandate was issued, Liberty Counsel has received many pleas for help, including those from doctors, psychiatrists, nurses and other health care workers, chaplains and more. These employees do not want the COVID shots and are afraid of losing their jobs. Liberty Counsel will be representing these VA employees.

Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough announced he will make COVID-19 injections mandatory for Title 38 VA health care personnel—including physicians, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, registered nurses, physician assistants, expanded-function dental auxiliaries and chiropractors—who work in Veterans Health Administration facilities, visit VHA facilities or provide direct care to those the VA serves.

In his statement Secretary McDonough said, “Whenever a Veteran or VA employee sets foot in a VA facility, they deserve to know that we have done everything in our power to protect them from COVID-19. With this mandate, we can once again make—and keep—that fundamental promise.”

The VA has also sent a letter to all veterans to “serve their country once again” by getting the COVID shots.

The VA is the first federal agency in the United States to mandate the COVID shots.

However, the COVID shots cannot be mandatory under authorization of emergency use (EAU). On March 27, 2020, the Health and Human Services (HHS) declared that circumstances exist justifying the EUA of drugs and biological products for COVID-19. That means people must be told the risks and benefits, and they have the right to decline a medication that is not fully licensed. All of the COVID-19 mRNA injections (Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna) or vaccines (Johnson & Johnson and Astra Zeneca) have received only EAU authorization and not full FDA approval.

Furthermore, COVID shots cannot be mandatory under Title VII. In general, employee vaccine religious exemption requests must be accommodated, where a reasonable accommodation exists without undue hardship to the employer, under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Many people hold sincere religious beliefs against taking any vaccines, or taking those derived from aborted fetal cell lines or taking those sold by companies that profit from the sale of vaccines and other products derived from abortion.

Title VII, as amended, prohibits two categories of employment practices. It is unlawful for an employer: “1) to fail or refuse to hire or to discharge any individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of such individual’s race, color, religion, sex, or national origin; or 2) to limit, segregate, or classify his employees or applicants for employment in any way which would deprive or tend to deprive any individual of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect his status as an employee, because of such individual’s race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.”

Federal workers may also claim religious exemptions under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993. This law applies to all levels of the federal government, including the VA.

In addition to federal law, the FDA includes the Nuremberg Code and the Helsinki Declaration on its website, emphasizing the fact that people cannot be forced to take experimental drugs without their full consent. Learn more at

“The COVID shots have only been approved for experimental and investigational use,” Liberty Counsel founder and Chairman Mat Staver says. “Under the federal Emergency Use Authorization law, these shots cannot be mandated or administered without the free and full consent of the individual. The VA has no authority to mandate the COVID shots. Federal employees are also protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Forcing any person to receive one of these COVID injections is a violation of federal law. It is shocking that a federal agency would brazenly violate federal law.” {eoa}

How the Politicizing of COVID Has Become a Deadly Game

I just lost another friend to COVID, this time, a 69-year-old father and grandfather, an elder in my home congregation, as faithful a Christian man as you will find.

He joins the list of other friends and colleagues in the States who have died in the last year from COVID-related complications, along with an even longer list of loved ones and colleagues of some of my very close friends in India.

At the same time, the extreme politicizing of COVID makes it difficult (if not almost impossible) to know who to trust when it comes to preventing the spread of the disease. This is a terrible shame.

Personally, as much as I dislike wearing a mask, especially on long flights, I would wear one the rest of my life in public—with joy—if I knew by doing so I was saving other people’s lives.

When it comes to being vaccinated, if I were sure the vaccine had no long-term side effects or dangers, I would get vaccinated every month if I knew I was helping to protect my family, my co-workers, and even strangers whom I met. (And yes, I’d gladly to do it every month if I knew it would protect me as well.)

The problem is that I’m not sure about any of this, and not simply because of the many conflicting reports.

Things have become so politicized to the point that, depending on what news network you watch, you’ll have differing views about: 1) the origins of the virus, 2) the threat of the virus, 3) the merits (or demerits) of lockdowns, 4) the safety (or danger) and efficacy (or worthlessness) of the vaccines, 5) the proper role of the government and 6) the best course moving forward, especially for our children.

That’s why I say that this is a terrible shame. At times like this, we must do better. But will we? I’m not holding my breath (no insensitive pun intended).

Is Big Pharma just in this for money? Is Dr. Fauci a devil or a saint? Is the World Health Organization aligned with China? Can the CDC make up its mind? Should I believe CNN or Fox (or neither)? Are the feds trying to save our lives or take control of our lives? And on and on it goes.

Except now, this is not just a question of true news or fake news. This is a question of what decisions we should make as individuals, decisions which could affect our own lives and the lives of others. This is anything but a game.

A friend in New York just wrote to me, saying, “I know about 6 people who got COVID after the vaccine. I also know about 4 people who got some very strange, serious symptoms after the 2nd shot. My sister was extremely tired for weeks. A 29-year-old young man, who is supposed to get married next week, was taken to the hospital two days after the second shot. His vision was very blurry, so dizzy that he couldn’t stand up and extremely tired. He was in the hospital two weeks. They don’t know what is wrong with him. Sent him home. We’re praying for a miracle. I know others too.”

Yet a comment like this might well get censored if posted on social media, allegedly spreading misinformation about the vaccine. How can this be right?

At the same time, a colleague with a Ph.D. in chemistry has been posting articles in which he claims to debunk concerns about the vaccines, extolling their efficacy and challenging the views of those who are still not vaccinated.

Who, then, should I believe, the friend with a list of personal anecdotes (which are then added to countless scores of similar reports)? Or the academic colleague offering careful scientific research?

These days, even this question cannot be asked in a dispassionate way, since any source I turn to, be it online, in print or on TV seems to have a political bias as well. Who will fact-check the fact- checkers?

When people press me for my own views on the vaccine, my answer is always the same: Do the research for yourself and make an informed decision, all the more so if it involves your children.

I am not qualified to say anything beyond that, nor should anyone really care about my opinion in this case because of my lack of qualifications.

Unfortunately, I can’t point people with confidence to a particular news source (or even online source of information) without wondering how much political or philosophical bias has colored the research and the reporting.

And this leads to the obvious question: How do we fix this problem?

Candidly, I do not know. And so, rather than end this article with my normal word of encouragement or challenge or call to action, I end here with a couple of questions.

What would you propose? How do we move beyond the political gamesmanship and concentrate on our national health and safety? {eoa}

Declaring the Truth

Being on the spectrum does not mean you don’t still have other things to contend with as well. You see, when the enemy has an assignment against your life, he won’t just create problems for you mentally, but he will cause trouble for you physically too. His ultimate agenda is to unleash complete destruction in and through your entire being.

Not only did I have autism, Asperger’s and obsessive-compulsive disorder to deal with, but on top of that, my physical body was also plagued with all kinds of ailments. Some problems would flare up out of nowhere. I dealt with different kinds of skin rashes and a variety of back problems. Despite the trials we face, God promises He will restore our health and heal our wounds (Jer. 30:17).

As born-again believers, it is up to us to take the authority God has given us to come against the power and the works of the enemy. We must rise and take control of the situation, rejecting and refuting his evil tactics in Jesus’ name. Satan will hide behind the autism, Asperger’s and OCD with an agenda to cause total destruction in other areas. He intends to wear you down and destroy your life so you give up. But God promised to deliver you from that destruction (Ps. 107:20).

No matter what agenda the enemy had against my life, it never happened. Why? My parents and I took our spiritual authority and rejected that assignment in Jesus’ name. That God-given authority comes automatically through the power and in the name of Jesus.

However, a declaration like this is not something you say only once. You must decree and declare the promises of God regularly, so the enemy knows you are serious. You must confess, constantly and consistently, the plans and purposes God has for your life. David, Joshua, Jacob and many others in the Bible held on to the promises God had for them, and at the appointed time, He brought the victory.

Repeated declarations are also important because so many different thoughts surround us in the atmosphere. The enemy will try to use those to flood your mind with negativity, reminding you of something your friend or family member said or other untrue claims. To stop those negative thoughts, you need to take authority by refuting and rejecting them in Jesus’ name.

God is in the business of healing, but in that process, we need to become constant in our confession, praying before Him and professing His word. Scripture teaches us that “He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction” (Ps. 107:20).

God has already sent out his word and healed, so we must now walk in that healing by taking and utilizing the authority God has given us. When we take authority, our medical conditions must bow at the knee of Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 33:6 provides a little more clarity of God’s desired outcome for our lives: “I will bring it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.”

When we walk by faith and not by the things we see (2 Cor. 5:7), we can expect to see something powerful and tangible take place. Look out for the signs God gives through your child. Their speech, behavior or both may change. God heals internally first, and the evidence of that healing manifests externally. From there, wholeness will emerge.

Try not to look at the external factors but instead focus on the internal work God is doing. God’s word will accomplish and succeed in that for which it was sent.

God is doing a mighty work in families’ lives through the Autism Overturned podcast and private Facebook community.

Here’s a testimony from the Autism Overturned private Facebook group: “We are so thankful for this group, the testimonies I read here are exactly what I needed not to give up. I hope and pray other parents remember we are in this together and God is for us. No matter how long it takes we must keep walking by faith and not by sight. Thank you, Ps Reg.”

I invite you to join my private Facebook group, Autism Overturned. Post a picture of your child, and I will start to pray. When you have joined the group, let me know if you would like a free prayer cloth to place in your child’s pillowcase. The Mystery of the Book of Life

David claimed that God keeps a record of every tear we shed in His “book” (see Ps. 56:8). Surely, that was a reference to the “Book of Life,” a concept found only in Judaism and Christianity.

Since God is omniscient—and He knows all things past, present and future—why would He need a book or a registry of all His people? Could this just be poetic and metaphorical, a symbol God uses to compare a heavenly truth to an earthly object to make it more understandable on a human level? Or is it literal? Only God knows for sure.

The “Book of Life” is mentioned 16 times in the Bible. It is first cited in Exodus 32. Moses had been on Mount Sinai, communing with God and receiving the tablets of stone bearing Yahweh’s handwriting. But while Moses was away from the camp, the children of Israel, just 40 days after hearing the audible voice of God declare the Ten Commandments from fiery Mount Sinai, brazenly broke the first two—creating an idol (a golden calf) and dancing around it in a demonic frenzy of false worship. God was minded toward destroying them all and raising up a new nation from Moses’ seed. But this great prophet of Israel interceded:

“Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold! Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written” (Ex. 32:31-32).

After such a self-sacrificing plea, God changed His mind, pouring out mercy on Israel instead of judgment. However, God did add, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book” (Ex. 32:33).

Centuries later, David mentioned this book in his poetic masterpiece, Psalm 139, confessing to God:

“Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them” (v. 16).

So apparently, the Book of Life contains, not only names, but a detailed prophetic forecast of the potential, the purpose and the destiny of every person in covenant with God. The steps of good men and women are “ordered of the Lord” (Ps. 37:23). It is up to us to prayerfully become sensitive to His revealed will and then boldly walk in it.

When Jesus sent out His 70 disciples to preach the kingdom of God with signs and wonders, they came back thrilled over the manifestation of God’s power, declaring, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name” (Luke 10:17). Jesus responded, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven … Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:18-20). There is no greater joy than being included.

The book of Revelation contains the most references to this famed book. In it, the resurrected Savior declares to the church in Sardis:

“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels” (Rev. 3:5).

This and other passages reveal that our goal is not to get our names written in God’s book but to make sure they are never blotted out. Does that mean that every living person in this world starts out included in that heavenly registry, but those who rebel against truth are erased? It seems so. In this case, the old hymn didn’t exactly get it right:

“There’s a new name written down in glory, and it’s mine, oh yes, it’s mine.”

The idea crafted by that song was this: As soon as a person gets saved (born again), his or her name is “written down” in God’s book in the heavenly sphere. Not so, according to the passages already mentioned.

Warning: The Blood Will Be on Your Hands

When Charisma magazine asked me to start a column on its Charisma News online property, it didn’t take me long to determine a theme: “Watchman on the Wall.”

During that season, I was heavy into reporting on the culture wars, which is one aspect of the watchman’s ministry. Over the years, God stationed me more prophetically to warn about as many spiritual dangers as natural dangers and cultural dangers.

See, a watchman can warn about sin—which is the assignment of a culture war watchman. Dr. Michael Brown is a modern-day example of the culture war watchman, dissecting with boldness and grace the issues in a post-modern world that are infiltrating the church. Some watchmen are assigned to the church, to warn of sin and spirits that overtake Christians. Still others warn about natural disasters, plagues and the end times.

Every watchman has a station, and, of course, there can be crossover assignments—and God can shift you into new roles in new seasons. I’ve stood as a watchman in many different operations, but my primary function is warning about spirits attacking the church. Regardless of the watchman’s expertise or assignment, the common denominators in the watchman’s ministry are warning and intercession.

A John the Baptist Mantle

God called me into prophetic ministry in a church. An apostle prayed over me and prophesied, “I’ve called you to be a voice of governing authority. I release that voice.” I had no idea what that meant. I was a brand-new Christian. I went home and started studying what the Bible said about governing and the voice. I was still largely clueless, but I was determined. I closed my Bible and asked God what He meant and was led to open my Bible again.

When I opened the Bible, it landed on Matthew 3:3 …

Online Influencer Prays for Healing—And It Happens Live on Screen

Pastor and social media influencer Jacob Coyne, from Vancouver, Washington, uses his phone to reach people for Jesus. He logs on to his Instagram account, goes live and shares from the Bible, bringing encouragement and praying for people during his live streaming sessions.

On July 27, Coyne opened his Bible to Matthew 28, pressed the “Go Live” button on his phone and then told his virtual congregation of almost 82,000 followers that he would be preaching about “Your calling in the Lord,” a message that led to a virtual altar call.

After 20 minutes of preaching, Coyne provided an opportunity for people to virtually join him to talk and pray. He explained from Mark 16:18 that we are told to “lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

People joined Coyne in the video chat, and the last to join was a teenaged boy named Genesis. The young man had dislocated his right shoulder while playing basketball and said he couldn’t move his arm without excruciating pain and he described as a 9.5 out of 10.

Coyne said to his new friend, “Wouldn’t that be awesome if Jesus healed you right now?”

The teen replied, “Yo! That would be awesome!”

Coyne continued, “Bro, Llet’s pray right now that the Holy Spirit will touch you and that Jesus, His hand will touch that shoulder of yours, and you’d be able to move it just as well as your other arm.”

He then asked everyone watching to join in prayer for the young man.

Coyne prayed for healing in the authority of Jesus’ name, commanding the shoulder to realign. “Every muscle, bone ligament and tendon, be realigned in the name of Jesus Christ. I command all the pain to leave right now.”

Live on screen, Genesis’ shoulder visibly popped back into place. His face filled with surprise and wonder, as Jesus had just healed his shoulder and removed all the pain.

Genesis described what he was feeling as “electricity” flowing through him. He then felt a click and had full range of motion, and the pain was gone! He kept poking his shoulder in amazement at the physical healing that had just taken place.

“I came on this live because my faith was wavering between Islam and Christianity and that, f Jesus healed my arm, then I would literally give my life to Jesus,” he admitted to Coyne.

Coyne then took the opportunity to lead his new friend in a prayer inviting Jesus into his life. He asked Genesis if he had a Bible and encouraged him to read the book of John. He then direct-messaged him so he can help Genesis grow with Jesus.

Coyne used the tools he had in his hand to share the gospel and pray for people, which led to a miraculous healing.

What’s in your hand, and how does God want you to use it? {eoa}

Change Is Inevitable—Unless You’re Jesus

We all know change is inevitable. Seasons change; people change; governments and laws change. However, thank God that Jesus never changes. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Jesus is “the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End” (Rev. 22:13b), “the Bright and Morning Star” (Rev. 12:16b), “the lily of the valleys” (Songs 2:1), “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6), “Lord of lords and King of kings” (Rev. 17:14b).

As we continue to experience the birth pangs of the end times and everything being shaken that can be shaken in our world, how comforting to remember that Jesus is the rock that never changes. The psalmist said in Psalm 16:8 (NIV), “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Subscribe to and listen to the latest Wear Scriptures Podcast episode on Charisma Podcast Network and be encouraged to remain steadfast in this ever-changing world.

Don’t Look Now, but This Iconic Magazine Now Sports a Transgender Cover Model

“I’m proudly choosing to live forever!” boosted transgender model Leyna Bloom, who now displays more than a face on the cover of the celebrated Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Don’t glance a second time passing through your supermarket checkout line. This “groundbreaking” cover model is the first transgender to appear in this spot.

Historian Edward Gibbon in his classic, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, lamented an equally classic observation: “Bizarreness masqueraded as creativity.”

“Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him or give thanks to Him as God, but became futile in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools” (Rom. 1:21-22a).

The downward spiral into sexual anarchy is what follows: Reject truth, then lose discernment and descend into moral confusion.

When a people disregard divine design for sexuality they will exhaust the sin spectrum, plunging into the depths of depravity.

Heeding God’s Warning
Jesus warned us concerning this kind of moral insanity. “As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man” (Matt. 24:37). Genesis 6:5 describes it, “The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was continually only evil.”

God was long-suffering, giving Noah’s generation 120 years to repent before the bowls of judgment were poured out. Considering the trajectory of our day, how much time do we have?

“Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? They were not at all ashamed, nor could they blush. Therefore, they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them they shall be cast down, says the Lord … stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths where the good way is and walk in it and you shall find rest for your souls” (Jer. 6:15-16).

Prophetic leader and longtime friend Lou Engle told me recently, “Without another spiritual awakening, America is doomed!”

If it doesn’t happen, is the Second Coming imminent?

What’s Next on God’s Calendar?

In reading the signs that Jesus laid out concerning His return, participation, not passivity, is essential.

Bible scholar R.T. Kendall told me recently what Jesus said must precede His return to planet Earth.

After unfolding the signs of the end of the age prior to His return in Mathew 24, Jesus gave an explicit parable dealing with alertness and action versus falling asleep. He said at midnight will come a cry to awaken us before He as our bridegroom comes back ().

The midnight cry and the return of our Lord aren’t simultaneous. We need an awakening first, and that’s what God intends for our nation! Billy Graham said, “I’ve wept for America—she is in great need of a spiritual awakening”. This spiritual giant, now in heaven, said he prayed fervently for this every day.

Today our freedoms, our faith, our families and our future are all at stake. We’re engaged in a titanic, unprecedented struggle with forces of evil and must categorically reject wishful thinking that this is temporary, cyclical or manageable.

We are at a tipping point where either we pray fervently and engage passionately to hasten a Third Great Awakening or we will witness the fulfillment of A.W. Tozer’s prophetic warning: “Historians will conclude that we of the 20th century had the genius to create a great civilization, but we lacked the moral wisdom to preserve it.”

Previous Awakenings/Prophetic Alerts

Amid horrendous decline, God intervened with a First Great Awakening from 1720–1760. The Second Great Awakening came in answer to God’s people praying and repenting in 1800-1840.

The time is now for another supernatural visitation! It’s our only hope to experience the transformation of our crumbling culture before it’s too late.

Our nation was established on Judeo-Christian foundations, no matter what some politicians and secular “authorities” state. We have a biblically based heritage, and we must contend for its restoration.

John Winthrop, first governor of Massachusetts, alerted us: “We must consider that we shall be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us. So that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken, and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a by-word to the world.”

Daniel Webster, senator and secretary of state for three presidents, also warned: “If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering. … But if we and our future generations reject religious instruction and authority; violate the rules of the eternal justice, trifle with the injunctions of morality, and recklessly destroy the political constitution which holds us together, no man can tell us how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.”

Recovering Our Roots

In April 1789, the war for America’s independence had been fought and won. A new nation formed around a radical constitution born out of revival preaching and the Great Awakening.

George Washington was sworn in at Federal Hall in New York City, becoming our first president. Then he led the inaugural delegation to St. Paul’s Chapel, which we know today as the site of ground zero.

Picture the Founding Fathers, representatives, senators and justices kneeling for two hours and dedicating America to God. Simultaneously, throughout the nation, pastors rang their church bells, calling the people of America to prayer in committing the new government to God.

In the formation of our nation, it was America’s political leaders and pastors who unapologetically led the grassroots fight for freedom and consecration of our new nation to God.

Unfortunately, as our developing nation prospered, complacency, compromise and disobedience set in as it has repeatedly, including today. So pastors led the way in humble prayer and repentance in turning back to God.

Historian David Manuel wrote of the First Great Awakening: “So many people had sincerely and publicly repented of their sinful ways, so many lives were truly reformed, so many broken relationships were restored and so many churches solemnly renewed their covenants that God relented and poured out His mercy. There was a sense of freshness in the colonies, a sense of cleanness and new hope.”

Prayer and Proclamation

Jesus told us numerous signs of the end of the age as we “watch and pray” (Mark 13:33b) but the signpost that’s most significant is worldwide spreading of the gospel of the kingdom (calling all to repent and respond to His lordship) “and then the end will come” (Matt 24:14b).

Here’s the Deal: As sin abounds in our generation, let’s repent of all compromise and reconsecrate ourselves to be faithful in proclaiming the transformative message of the gospel and truth. Go to “Loving Lifestyle Evangelism” and be freshly inspired and equipped by these free YouTube videos.

“Larry, I will never forget you helping me write my personal testimony tract that I’ve given out all over North Carolina! Thank you for helping me share the gospel in such an effective way.” —Robin M. {eoa}

Canadian Churches Are Burning, but Where Is the Outrage?

In late May, nearly 215 unmarked graves were found near a boarding school for Indigenous children in Ontario, Canada. Since then, more than 50 churches have been vandalized, desecrated or burned to the ground.

Yet, according to National Post columnist Rex Murphy, nobody in the Canadian government seems to care, most of all about Christians. Murphy pointed out that, considering the scale of these events, the reaction has been “utterly underwhelming.”

Last week, the Canadian government hosted a pair of summits on consecutive days to combat antisemitism and Islamophobia, yet Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said little, if anything, Murphy says, about the Christian churches being burned.

“What I find rather inexplicable is that while our federal government is rightly attending to acts of discrimination targeting Jewish and Muslim worshippers, there is, as far as can be determined, no scheduled summit dealing with the current wave of destructive hostility directed toward Christian worshippers,” Murphy wrote. “This is something more than puzzling.”

Candice Malcolm, a columnist for True North News, is similarly befuddled at the lack of response from the Canadian government about the church vandalism, violence and destruction. Malcolm says 50 communities “have been robbed of a sacred space to pray and effectively stripped of a fundamental right we hold in Canada”—so much so that it is the very first right enumerated in Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which says:

“Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law … Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms: freedom of conscience and religion.”

Yet Malcom says some are being given special consideration over others.

“The freedom to pray and the right to access your place of worship must apply to all Canadians,” he wrote. “And yet, our government is failing to uphold these rights for too many. So, where are the politicians? Where are the police? Why aren’t these churches being protected?”

During the pandemic, Canadian pastors have been arrested, like Pastor Tim Stephens, for violating his province’s COVID-19 rules. Pastor Arthur Pawlowski was arrested by policy in Calgary for the same violations, along with his brother, David.

Malcolm reported that Trudeau said on July 2 that he “understands the anger” and “gently” pushed back by saying the attacks were “unacceptable and wrong,” but that he has “been silent ever since.”

She also reported that CTV News showed footage of an arsonist attacking a church, but the reporter chose to protect her identity by blurring her face during the attack. {eoa}

John G. Lake Healing Rooms Reopened After Bethel Supernatural Encounter

Cal Pierce is the founder of the International Healing Rooms which exists to see people healed, set free and launched into their destiny by demonstrating the kingdom of God through them. He grew up in Redding, California, and was a member of Bethel Church.

On my podcast, Adventures in the Spirit, Cal tells me, “I got into a religious mode. Church was just church, I was on and off with the board.” He continues, saying, “I had really planned out my life. I was going to retire from real estate and go RV’ing. I would tell people, ‘The reason I’m on the board is because I’m a bored member.'”

Cal states that the church got a new senior pastor by the name of Bill Johnson, who had a deep hunger for people to have an encounter with God. Bill had returned from the renewal meetings in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and set a night for all the leaders to attend.

“There were a hundred people or so in what was called the ‘Great Room.’ I’d been looking at my watch thinking I had things to do,” Cal says. “But Bill raised his hands to heaven and said, ‘Come, Holy Spirit.’ The fire of God began to come through my body, wave after wave. When that divine encounter happened, it burned up all the chaff and religion I had in my life.”

This began the adventures Cal has been on for the last 21 years. With his wife, they moved their ministry to Spokane, Washington, to redig the John G. Lake wells of revival and healing. When John Lake had the healing rooms there in the 1920s and 1930s, Spokane was the healthiest city in America because of the miracles taking place.

Cal says, “We began to open up the well of healing once again in Spokane. No one knew who we were. God just started bringing people to us.”

The healing rooms are now in 76 countries. Cal states, “We discovered that God wasn’t looking for ‘stars’; He was looking for hunger. He is looking for ordinary people who will position themselves in the presence of God who He will use to heal the sick.”

On my podcast, Cal shares how he equips people to be used by God in healing. He shared true stories of how people have been healed of cancer and how God has grown International Healing Rooms around the world. It was an honor to have him on my program and pray a powerful impartation for all my listeners.
