A Prophetic Biblical Assembly to Take Place at the National Mall

In ancient times, at critical times in Israel’s history, they changed the course of history and saved a nation. America is now in deep crisis, more so than at any other time in our lifetime. Could it happen again?

On Saturday, Sept. 26, a Biblical Sacred and Solemn Assembly will take place in Washington, D.C., on the National Mall. It will be “The Return: The National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance.” Called for by Jonathan Cahn and Kevin Jessip, “The Return” will bring together believers and leaders from all over the nation who are coming to Washington to fulfill the ancient Scripture given for national restoration and revival:

“If My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14).

It will also follow the call and template of Joel 2: “Consecrate a Solemn Assembly …”

“The Return” will take place in the most sacred time in the biblical year—during the “Days of Awe”—between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement. “These are the days,” said Jonathan Cahn, “which, from ancient times, are consecrated for repentance, for a nation to return to God.” The book of Joel ordains that the priests of Israel play a key part in leading repentance and solemn assemblies. Cahn, “coincidentally,” is a descendant of Aaron, born of the house of the priests of Israel.

As it also concerns the return of America to God, Kevin Jessip, who co-chairs the leadership of “The Return” and has long envisioned such a sacred assembly, is a descendant of those linked to the sailing of the Mayflower at America’s spiritual founding. “The Return” will also take place during the 400th anniversary of that voyage.

“The Return” will begin at 9 a.m. by the Washington Monument—in the same way that the biblical assemblies of God began—with the sound of the trumpets and an ancient Hebrew prayer. As in the book of Joel, it will involve leaders of God’s people coming before Him in repentance. “Before we can pray for America’s return and repentance, we must take part in our own,” Cahn said. So the first prayers lifted up will be for the repentance of the church and the individual. Then will come the prayers of intercession for America and, since “The Return” is also global, prayers for the continents and nations of the world.

As in the sacred assemblies of the Bible, there will be the giving of the word, prayer, intercession and worship—along with prophetic acts. At 11 a.m., Jonathan Cahn will be delivering the keynote address—a prophetic word to America. At “The Return,” the ancient scroll of Israel will be opened and the appointed word read to the assembly. There will also be the sounding of the shofar and the seven trumpets, the Aaronic Blessing and much more.

“We believe,” said Cahn, “that as we follow what God has set forth and required for revival, He will answer us.”

As the Solemn Assembly involves leaders coming before the Lord, “The Return” will include everyone from Pat Robertson to Dr. James Dobson; Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson; Pat Boone; Billy Graham’s daughter Anne Graham Lotz; Martin Luther King’s niece Alveda King; Michele Bachmann; Gordon Robinson; Marcus Lamb; Pastor Robert Morris; Bishop Harry Jackson; MyPillow founder Mike Lindell; Tony Perkins; Actor Kevin Sorbo; General William Boykin and many, many more.

Believers, buses, churches, will come from all over America to the National Mall to be part. But “The Return” will not be limited to those who come. All believers throughout the nation can take part in this sacred biblical assembly and prophetic event. The Return will be simulcast on a multitude of television stations and streamed over the web, so anyone can take part in their churches, their communities, their cities and in their homes.

Beyond that, “The Return” is an international and global event. So believers from all over the world will be taking part by simulcast and streaming as they hold their own version of “The Return” in countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and more.

Frank Amedia Prophesies: ‘God Will Send a Blast’

Pastor Frank Amedia is known for his bold and accurate prophetic words. In fact, he had the opportunity to share one with President Trump before the 2016 election that I detail in my book, God, Trump and the 2020 Election. This year, the Lord has given Frank insight into what he says are three shifts. I invited Frank onto my God, Trump and COVID-19 podcast to share his recent prophecies related to these shifts and what they mean for our country.

Frank told me, “As you and I were even uncovering the mystery of the COVID back in January and February, I had then declared there would be three shifts, and the second shift was forthcoming. And on May 24, in a Sunday service, I declared that the Lord said, ‘delusion, the spirit of delusion.’ And lawlessness was about to be released with a fury upon the earth in this nation,” Frank said. “And the very next day was the unfortunate murder of George Floyd: cities ablaze, chaos, confusion, lawlessness.

“And even before that, He said, but the third one that’s coming will be by My Spirit. And He said, ‘It will shake the earth. It will shape those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. And I’m going to intervene,'” Frank said.

But then Frank saw something on television that concerned him deeply, and the Lord spoke to him about it in a powerful way. While watching the Democratic Convention on Aug. 20, he heard Joe Biden give his prepared speech. Frank said, “In the midst of that speech, Biden looked well into the camera, and he read the words that were written for him: ‘The president keeps telling us the virus is going to disappear. He keeps waiting for a miracle. Well, I have news for him: No miracle is coming.’

“Literally, the Spirit of God jumped inside of me,” Frank told me. “I jumped to my feet. And I said, ‘Lord, this is mockery.’ And He said, ‘What do you say?’ And I said, ‘Lord, let the miracle come.’ And He said, ‘As you have said, there will be a miracle, as it was for my son, Hezekiah.'”

Of course that prompted Frank to do some biblical research into the story of Hezekiah in 2 Kings 18-19. And what he found was a fascinating correlation for today related to Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, and his chief adviser, known as the Rabshakeh. “There’s a correlation between this Rabshakeh, Biden being the voice of that spirit, the voice of that king, the voice of that group, the voice of that party,” Frank said.

Frank went on to explain that the Rabshakeh mocked and criticized both Hezekiah and the people who had trust in God. “He even said, ‘Your God is not going to be able to save you. Your God is no different than all the rest of the gods.’ And it was mockery.”

But just as in Hezekiah’s day, we have hope, Frank told me. As he was crying out over the struggles of our nation, the Lord spoke to him and said, “I am going to blast.” Frank said this is exactly the word God gave Hezekiah through the prophet Isaiah: “Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. Behold, I will send a blast” (Isa. 37:6-7a, KJV).

Why Jesus’ Rule Supersedes the Authority of All Political Leaders

My objective for this article is to illustrate how the Lord Jesus is the ruler of all kings and nations of the earth.

The need for this teaching is great. Most Christians only think of Jesus as their personal Savior instead of as the exalted Lord of heaven and earth (Matt. 28:18). This is the reason why much of the church thinks they can separate politics and religion.

Humanity will eventually face the question, “Do I believe the presidents, prime ministers, kings and elected officials of the earth have the final say, or do I believe Jesus does?” One significant portion of Scripture gives us a clear answer regarding this.

To understand the purpose of the ministry of Jesus Christ, we must understand several significant psalms: Psalm 2, Psalm 22, Psalm 24, Psalm 45, Psalm 72 and Psalm 110 (Psalm 110 is the most quoted in the New Testament).

In this article, we will specifically examine Psalm 2. This psalm will expand your view of the purpose of the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. In light of all the civil, political and economic turmoil we are presently experiencing in the world, it is crucial to understand this psalm.

“Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying” (Ps. 2:1-2).

Human history has shown that since the rebellious Cain, son of Adam, built a city, humankind has attempted to build civilizations in rebellion against God (Gen. 4:17). Examples of this are the Tower of Babel, ancient Egypt, ancient Babylon, ancient Assyria, the old Roman Empire, the Ming Dynasty and in recent times, Nazi Germany, Japan, the European Union, the Soviet Union, China and the greatest dynasty of them all, the .

King David asks in this psalm, “why do the nations rage” against their Creator? From reading Scripture, we find that the reason is, ultimately, since the fall in the Garden of Eden, humanity desires to be autonomous from God and not submitted to anyone’s authority. Consequently, the primary idol in the world today is not sex, money or power, but the “freedom of expression,” which has its foundation in total autonomy.

That being said, all of the nations of the world, in general, have one thing in common: They have devised plans, philosophies, religions and schemes against the Lord.

1 John 5:19 (NKJV) says, “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”

In his letter to the church of Ephesus, the apostle Paul taught that the world is under the prince’s control of the power of the air, which is the spirit that operates in the children of disobedience (Eph. 2:1-2).

The Bible teaches us that Satan’s goal is to exert dominion in this world over the nations through the political, economic, pop culture leaders, educators and philosophers.

Jesus did not deny this when the devil offered to give Him all the kingdoms of this world in return for worshipping him (Matt. 4:8-10).

“Let us break Their bonds in pieces. And cast away Their cords from us” (Ps. 2:3, NKJV).

Verse 3 teaches us that the leaders and peoples of this world do not want any boundaries, laws or restraints from their creator. Unfortunately for the rebellious, God gave the world the Ten Commandments, not the ten suggestions! Thus, God’s design regarding marriage, family, gender, sexuality, economics and justice has to be followed to maximize the fullness of divine blessing.

“He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure” (Ps. 2:4-5).

In verses 4-5, when God sees the unrest and rebellion of the nations, He doesn’t get nervous. Instead, He laughs and holds them in derision. God then releases distress upon the nations through His spoken word or decree. We see glimpses of this taking place in the courts of heaven when God’s decrees go forth regarding the fate of the nations of the world (1 Kings 22; Isa. 6; Jer. 23; Rev. 5, 8).

And boy, we see much distress, turmoil and anxiety in all the world nations today, don’t we?

“Yet I have set my king on my holy hill of Zion” (Ps. 2:6).

God’s authoritative response is that I have already set my Son Jesus as the nations’ ruler! I have already done my thing, and there is nothing the United Nations, China, Russia, Iran or the USA can do about it! Consequently, whether the nations approve of Jesus or not, God already set Jesus above the heavens and the earth as the ruler after His ascension.

Next week in part 2 of this article, we will see the consequences of Jesus’s reign as King over the nations. {eoa}

West Coast Fire Kills at Least 33, Environmentalist Policies Blamed

At least 33 people are dead and half-a-million ordered to evacuate as 100 wildfires sweep across 12 Western states.

The landscape is truly apocalyptic. Millions of acres of forest are burning along the West Coast, the smoke blotting out the sun. In Oregon, dozens have died, and officials fear that number could go much higher.

Here in Yosemite National Park, the normally breathtaking scenery is hidden by a choking layer of smoke and falling ash.

The Creek Fire in the Sierra National Forest is keeping 1,600 firefighters busy day and night, but considering its size, locals say that’s not nearly enough.

Rancher Larry Kellerhals said, “The whole area for miles around burned, burned Monday I believe, so I’m worried about my stock, they haven’t gotten anything to eat for four or five days.”

“I’m hoping to get back as soon as the officials will let me in,” he said.

The smoke coming from this 175,000-acre fire is almost overwhelming up here just about an hour to the east of Fresno, California. And it’s blanketing all of Southern California all the way to Las Vegas, Nevada. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing according to some of the officials, who say this blanket of smoke is part of what is helping to contain this fire.

CALFIRE Public Information Officer Michael Davis said, “While this smoke is a real burden, and it’s not any fun to have your community socked in with smoke and be breathing this, it’s actually doing a lot of good because it’s moderating fire behavior substantially, and that’s giving us a chance to try and get out in front of this thing.”

The Trump administration has dedicated more than 26,000 personnel to assist, with dozens of grants paying for fire suppression and to help rebuild.

“My administration is closely coordinating with state and local leaders and we want to thank the more than 200,000 people that are working on it and 28,000 firefighters and first responders who courageously and bravely are fighting out there,” the president said.

American Pastors Network Appeals to Legislature to Repeal Unconstitutional Law

Earlier this week, Federal Judge William S. Stickman ruled that it was unconstitutional for Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and his administration to close and provide other directives to businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stickman said that Gov. Wolf and Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine “crossed the lines” established by the U.S. Constitution. According to an article from the Pittsburgh Business Times, Stickman “ruled limits on gatherings issued by the Wolf administration violated the First Amendment right of assembly and stay-home and business closures imposed in the early parts of the pandemic, violated the Due Process and Equal Protection clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.”

American Pastors Network (APN) and Pennsylvania Pastors Network (PPN) last month sent an open letter to all three branches of state government and wrote a resolution to accompany it. APN President Sam Rohrer, a nine-term state representative, has called on pastors to lead the citizens of Pennsylvania in their shared responsibility to Restore the Law.

Rohrer said in reaction to the ruling, “It underscores not only the accuracy, but the content of our letter and resolution, and why the legislature must declare the July 1, 2020, Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision (regarding HR 836) to be ‘null and void and without authority.’ Judge Stickman’s decision gives overwhelming support to the Legislature, but it does not re-establish the Legislature’s constitutional authority usurped by our Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Wolf led Executive Branch.

“The judge’s decision confirms the identification of the problem as lawlessness and by extension the resultant serious unbalancing of the delicate balance of power in our Commonwealth—the same as we are seeing all across America. This usurping of authority and acting outside the law initiated by the Wolf-led Executive Branch and then enabled by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court was fully detailed in our Open Letter and Resolution,” Rohrer continued. “No citizen, though, nor Judicial Branch action can reestablish the constitutional balance of power or restore the law. This is why we called upon the Legislature and we call now again on the Pennsylvania General Assembly to move swiftly and boldly to ‘restore the Law’ as called out in our Open Letter and Resolution. While Judge Stickman identified the problem, he cannot prescribe the solution. We call on the Legislature to do what only they can do to now ‘restore the law.'”

Sam Rohrer co-hosts and along with guests explore topics like these on APN’s popular, live, daily radio program Stand in the Gap Today. Discover a Fresh Impartation When God Moves Through the Elements

Before going live for Adventures in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit was moving in power as David Edwards and I were doing our remote sound and video checks. I knew from what was taking place before our conversation was broadcasting that the whole interview would be anointed in power.

David Edwards is a spiritual son to Leif Hetland, and he and his wife, Allessia, have started the School of Revivalists in Destin, Florida. This school identifies, activates, equips and sends sons and daughters, mothers and fathers as supernatural influencers to minister in all spheres of society.

As we interviewed David, he told us how he came to Jesus and was powerfully filled with the Holy Spirit. We started talking about his new book, Mystify: Encountering God in the Elements. He said after hearing how the wind of God moved in a crusade in Africa, “I saw that creation itself responds to the presence of God.”

He said, “The earth itself responds to the dynamic move of the Spirit … God led me in showing how He moves in the elements, first through the subtle, but then through the substantial.”

David said while he and his wife were sharing at a church what God was doing in their personal lives through the elements, the same things started happening in the church. He said, “You saw all creation responding when the sons and daughters were rising in their identity in the place.”

It was a powerful conversation. My podcast, Adventures in the Spirit with Jared Laskey is not just about information, but impartation and activation. So I ask all my guests to lead us either in prayer or activation. And David led us in an activation that many people from around the world started testifying to feeling the wind of God wrapping around them, or feeling a fiery love and electricity in their hands.

When I prayed with my kids that night before bedtime and led them in the activation, they testified to feeling the wind of God go from their feet, up their bodies and around their heads, and then the love of the Spirit started surging in them.

Please, listen in, subscribe and share Adventures in the Spirit. {eoa}

Jared Laskey, ., M.A. Christian Ministry, is the founder of Fireborn Ministries and host of the Adventures in the Spirit podcast. He lives to see Jesus awaken this generation to the power of the Holy Spirit. Jared loves teaching people how to hear God. He has recently published the Spirit-Empowered Journal, available on Amazon, and e-course, Entry Level Prophecy. His testimony of how God supernaturally healed him of PTSD is in Joan Hunter’s new book, Miracles for Veterans.

Trump Blocks CDC’s Attempt to Teach ‘Critical Race Theory’

Flouting orders from President Donald Trump, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reportedly tried moving forward with training on “critical race theory,” which focuses on things like “white privilege,” “microaggressions” and “institutionalized racism.”

Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought announced Tuesday morning, however, that the White House cancelled the sessions “immediately.”

The training in question also taught participants how to view “racism as a public health crisis” and promoted the belief that “systemic racism” causes “police killings of unarmed Black and brown men and women,” according to the New York Post.

Details about the 13-week series, titled “Naming, Measuring, and Addressing the Impacts of Racism on the Health and Well-Being of the Nation and the World,” were revealed Monday by Christopher Rufo of the Discovery Institute.

Rufo described the training as “textbook critical race theory.”

On Monday afternoon, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, called on Congress “to ban federal dollars from being spent on critical race theory,” which he described as “divisive, race-based propaganda.”

The High-Wire Faith of Nik Wallenda

As dawn breaks each morning, many of us must face personal fears of what might happen during the new day. Some days we struggle to put one foot in front of the other in pursuit of the path set before us.

Aerialist and high-wire walker, Nik Wallenda, recently joined the Greenelines podcast to discuss his new book, Facing Fear. His many thrilling walks across Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and most recently over the active Masaya Volcano, among many others, make him a proven expert in facing fear.

“I want to help everyday people step out in faith even when they are afraid. Most of us will never walk a tightrope, but we face things that scare us every day,” Wallenda said.

Following a 200-year tradition established over seven generations, Wallenda has pursued God as earnestly as a safe arrival on the other side of his wire. “I was actually accepted at Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida, when I finished high school. I was going to become a youth pastor or study further to become a pediatrician,” he said. “But that was about the time the phone rang, and our family was invited back to re-create that pyramid [a seven-person pyramid his acrobatic family made famous] for the first time since the tragic fall in 1962.

“I had this passion within me and wanted to perform. And all the while, I struggled to understand how God was going to get the glory from all this,” Wallenda said. “By 2011, I was in the process of seeking permission to walk across Niagara Falls, and in order to get permission to walk across the falls, I had to change two laws in two countries that were over 100 years old. It took over a year and a half to get the walk approved. The walk was broadcast live by ABC.”

Most of Wallenda’s walks are miked, and the audience hears him speaking Scripture and praising the Lord as he traverses the wires.

He listens to worship music as he trains and clearly sees his high-wire walks as his ministry.

“I think the key for me is continually keeping God at the center of my life, no matter what situation I’m in, to seek Him first, so that all of his righteousness will be added unto me,” Wallenda said. “You know, in Isaiah 41:10, it says, ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am Your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

“That is a Scripture that I’ve held onto often,” he said. “It is so easy during these times of COVID to be dismayed. But if we can just realize that our God is the Creator of the universe, that He created us in His image and He knows the beginning from the end, and He will get the glory. All things work for good.”

Wallenda has learned to keep his eyes on the rock set before him.

“When I’m walking across Niagara Falls, I’m not looking at the heavy mist and the heavy winds and the wire moving underneath me,” he said. “I’m looking at the solid rock that my wire is anchored to on the other side. And if we can look through, even in those dark times, and know that good will come from this, every negative situation I’ve been through has only led to great things. Every valley has only led to the mountaintop.”
