Prophecy: ‘The Verdict Has Been Determined: America Shall Be Saved!’

An anonymous intercessor at The Turnaround Event shared the following word:

I dreamed I was with a couple of friends and family members in Washington, DC. Exiting the Trump hotel, where The Turnaround event was held, was a courier, which I discerned to be an angel. He was carrying a scroll. His face was set toward the U. S. Capitol building.

When He got to the Capitol, he went inside, and we followed him in. We followed him to the House Chamber where President Trump had recently given his State of the Union Address. All of the lawmakers were in their seats and there were many people in the gallery. It was a packed house. The courier carrying the scroll went and stood at the double doors to the Chambers.

The angel announced loudly and with authority, ‘All rise!’ Just as had happened at the recent State of the Union Address, some people stood, while others disrespectfully stayed seated. The angel then opened the scroll and said very loudly and adamantly, “The verdict has been determined. America shall be saved!”

Some of the Congressmen stayed adamantly in their seats, but some fell on their faces in worship and the glory filled the room.

“Yet the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. For the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24).

Give Him 15 Minutes in Prayer

  • Declare, “America shall be saved!” Keep declaring it. Declare it by faith to the north, south, east and west. Declare it over your city and state and across the nation.
  • Determine to tell others about Jesus. It starts with one soul saved at a time.
  • However, it doesn’t stop there. Nations are “saved” when believers in positions of governmental authority introduce righteous laws into the culture. Ask God to stir your Congressmen to boldly write laws that would please the Lord. Intercede for them.
  • Contact your representative here and your senators here. Write and encourage them to act righteously, even if you don’t feel they currently are. Who knows, together with prayer, you may change their minds!

A Prayer You Can Pray

America shall be saved! America shall be saved! You said it, Lord, in a dream given to a saint, so You must mean to do it. America shall be saved. I take hold of this prophetic word by faith and declare it over this nation—to the north, to the south, to the east and to the west. I declare that my city shall be saved, my state shall be saved and the . shall be saved!

I will do my part to share Your love with the lost souls around me. Help my congressmen and senators do the same in their realm of authority, if they know You. Make them bold and determined to offer before the House and Senate legislation that pleases You. I will write them and tell them how I am praying for them, and I’ll ask them to consider righteous legislation to helps all of their constituents. In Jesus’ glorious name, amen.

Today’s decree:

America shall be saved! {eoa}

3 Real-Life Reasons God Doesn’t Want You to Keep Secrets

Years ago, I attended a seminar where we played games to find out more about ourselves, which required opening up about our secrets. This was harder for some people than others. For one couple, it was so hard they’d traveled out of state to attend this seminar so their secrets didn’t get home.

See, the husband was a pastor of a large church, and he’d been having affairs for years. He’d claimed to have repented, and his wife stayed with him, but to keep their position, he felt they had to hide his infidelity. She submitted, but this secret was so painful, she’d become suicidal.

As a woman who’d been cheated on before, I wasn’t OK with this.

One of the “games” we played had us share any negative feelings we harbored. We were supposed to go stand in front of the offender and tell them what bothered us and why. I normally prefer to avoid conflict, but as others aired their grievances, I gathered my courage.

I stood in front of the pastor and said, “You’re crippling your church.” I thought he would never talk to me again.

Next it was time to play a game where we were each given four pieces of “medicine” that would save lives, and we had to go around and tell each participant whether we were going to save their life or not. This unfaithful pastor, whom I’d called out, saved me.

After we’d given away all our medicine, the four people who’d received the most medicine were asked to stand up at the front. Everyone else had to line up to tell them what message to give to their loved ones after they died. I was one of the four. And this pastor was the last in my line.

By the time he got to me, everyone else was done talking and turned to watch us. The pastor broke down, sobbing in my arms. I cried with him. We both found healing from our fears in that moment. Later, I was able to discuss his secret with him.

He said he didn’t want his sin to turn people away from the church. He’d justified this decision with the fact that God didn’t remove King David from his position after his affair with Bathsheba. Since we’d developed a relationship where we both cared for each other, I was able to explain why I disagreed.

  1. Keeping secrets to protect others puts God in a box. God can handle our messes. God can even use them for good. This pastor’s wife wanted to retire from their church and start a retreat center for fallen pastors. What a powerful ministry that could be.
  2. Keeping secrets still hurts people, starting with our family. As a pastor’s daughter, I’ve seen church leaders sacrifice their families in favor of their flock. This could be an even bigger turnoff to Christianity than anything else, and it’s the opposite of what God calls a husband and father to do.
  3. King David was allowed to keep his position after his secret was revealed. His story is no secret anymore. In fact, it’s now told around the world as an example of God’s mercy. The unfaithful pastor felt God’s mercy when sobbing in my arms. At that time, he’d been completely open about his darkest places and realized he was still loved in spite of himself.

I don’t know what this pastor decided to do after going home, but I’ve seen others find healing after opening up about their secrets. It’s hard, there are consequences, and not everyone in the church will forgive. But it isn’t about our mistakes; it’s about God’s mercy.

Sometimes I’ve seen cover-ups allowed to “avoid gossip.” As this is an honorable goal, start by sharing with those you trust and ask for feedback and support. If you don’t have the freedom to share your story with the people closest to you, what kind of freedom do you have?

Sinning doesn’t make you like David. Sinning and confessing makes you like David. Sinning and keeping it a secret makes you like King Saul when he said, “I have sinned, yet please honor me before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn back with me, that I may worship the Lord your God” (1 Sam. 15:13).

On the other hand, if you’re in a position like I was, you can ask God for courage to confront the wrongdoer. If you are speaking the truth in love, it will hurt you too, but like Nathan confronting David, it’s the loving thing to do.

There is no gray area here. God tells us in James 5:16 to “confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” God is never in favor of the cover-up because He is in favor of our healing. {eoa}

Pompeo: ‘Iran Will Never Again Dominate the Middle East’

Some are calling it the strongest speech ever by a secretary of state.

In his first major foreign policy address, Mike Pompeo focused on Iran, warning leaders to change course or face their strongest sanctions in history.
“Sanctions are going back in full effect, and new ones are coming,” Pompeo said, speaking at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

Pompeo said he will also be working with the Defense Department and allies to push back on Iran.

“We will ensure freedom of navigation on the waters in the region. We will work to prevent and counteract any Iranian malign cyber activity. We will track down Iranian operatives and their Hezbollah proxies operating around the world and crush them,” Pompeo said. “Iran will never again have carte blanche to dominate the Middle East.”

Pompeo listed 12 demands that would be the framework for a potential new treaty with Iran.

Pompeo said Iran must fully disclose and permanently abandon its nuclear weapons program.

It must also end its ballistic missile program and allow inspectors access to all nuclear sites, including the military locations which were off limits under the 2015 deal.

“Iran must release all U.S. citizens as well as citizens of our partners and allies, each of them detained on spurious charges,” he said. “We understand our reimposition of sanctions and the coming pressure campaign on the Iranian regime will pose financial and economic difficulties for a number of our friends. But you should know that we will hold those doing prohibited business in Iran to account.”

Pompeo criticized the nuclear deal for its “fatal flaws,” and the Obama administration for pursuing it.

He also called Iran an international menace that must end all support of terrorists such as Hezbollah, Hamas and the Islamic jihad.

The secretary said the United States will also ask Europe to reimpose economic sanctions, in a bid to bring Iran back to the negotiating table.

He also asked for the support of U.S. allies beyond Europe, such as Australia, Japan, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

If they don’t join the U.S., some see that as a costly choice.

“If they continue taking their rhetoric to the most logical conclusion that means they would be willing to side with the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism as opposed the state’s best economy,’ said Behnam Ben Talebu with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

Dr. Nile Gardiner, with the Heritage Foundation, said, “America’s enemies must understand that the United States will stand up to those who threaten the free world.”

Reaction came swiftly from Israeli’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He said anyone who wants to “stop Iranian aggression and support peace, should support the United States, just like Israel does.”

While a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry called the new policy “ridiculous and embarrassing and more like a satire.”

Secretary Pompeo says the U.S. demands are not unreasonable and welcomes Iran’s leaders to take a different path.

He adds it’s ultimately up to the Iranian people to decide their future.

“We will continue to work with our allies to counter the regime’s destabilizing activities in the region, block their financing of terror and address Iran’s proliferation of missiles and other advanced weapons that threaten peace and stability,” Pompeo said in the speech. “We will also ensure Iran has no possible path to a nuclear weapon—ever.” {eoa}

The Devil Is Out to Ravage This Vital Aspect of Your Spiritual Walk

These past three weeks have been the longest I have ever been away from my beautiful wife. I have been traveling to Russia and South Africa in pursuit of uplifting Christian leaders, reaching the lost with the love of God and building relationships with pastors who have the same heart for God’s ministry as I have. It is wonderful, fulfilling work, but I admit, even while doing what I love most—sharing the love of God all over the world—it can be easy to feel alone when I am far from home.

I know I am not the only one who grapples with these feelings. In fact, many Christian leaders face the attack of isolation every day. Left undealt with, isolation will undermine your ministry and erode your effectiveness for the kingdom.

Isolation comes in many forms. You can feel isolated physically, socially, emotionally or even spiritually. In order to isolate us, the enemy starts by encouraging thoughts and feelings of strife, anger, loneliness, hurt, rejection, hatred, unworthiness, comparison and wrath. These feelings are, in themselves, a challenge to overcome. But they are even more dangerous when they are allowed to linger, eventually causing us to withdraw from the people and relationships that can provide us with a lifeline in the midst of the enemy’s assault.

The enemy wants to destroy our relationships and isolate us. He knows there is strength in Christian community, while isolation leaves us vulnerable. After all, it is so much harder to take us out of the will of God when people we love surround us than when we are alone.

This is why God does not want us to be alone. God created us to be social people! He knows that we need people in our lives, and He designed us for fellowship:

Two are better than one, because there is a good reward for their labor together. For if they fall, then one will help up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has no one to help him up. Also if two lie down together, then they will keep warm; but how can one keep warm by himself? And if someone might overpower another by himself, two together can withstand him. A threefold cord is not quickly broken (Eccl. 4:9-12).

The best way to combat isolation is through relationships—relationships with God, our families, churches, friends and communities. It is these people, the people we interact with every day, who are often God-sent and God-placed in our lives to provide a buffer and blockade from the enemy’s attempts to overcome us.

We need people in our lives to laugh with.

We need people in our lives to cry with.

We need people in our lives to help us through the hard times of life and celebrate with us in the best times.

We need people to help us carry out the will of God in our lives.

We need people in our lives that are different than we are.

We need people in our lives that believe in us.

We need people in our lives that believe with us.

Relationships are worth more than gold. As Christian leaders and pastors it is especially important to maintain healthy relationships. You cannot run a ministry on your own. You need people! Don’t let the enemy rob your life through isolation.

You’re beautiful! I see Jesus in you! {eoa}

Steven Furtick: What This Demon Possession Scripture Tells Us About Satan’s Strategies

Steven Furtick, pastor of Elevation Church, says the enemy knows your most vulnerable places and will use that strategically. He says that characteristic is on full display in the story of the demons “Legion,” who possessed a man and then a herd of pigs. Watch to find out what that story tells us about our spiritual opponent.

‘American Idol’ Winner Maddie Poppe Got Her Start in Church

Maddie Poppe took the crown in ABC’s reboot of American Idol in last night’s season finale.

“I watched Maddie at church, sing in Sunday School,” says Mike Ruby, who is organized Poppe’s concert during her homecoming episode. “She was on the backstage setup crew … helping set up concerts for other acts.”

Fellow Christian Cade Foehner made it to the top 10 this season.

Of Maddie, he says: “You are one of the most unapologetically honest people I’ve ever met. You are one of only people who sounds just as angelic in a hotel room for three people as you do on a stage in front of millions.”

The season finale also revealed Poppe is dating runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson.

Hutchinson is a believer as well.

I have spent the last 24 hours trying to comprehend my life right now. I just want to thank the Good Lord for allowing me to be doing this and turning my tragedy into triumph. Secondly, thank you to America, for believing in me and putting me in a state of disbelief over the support I’ve been getting from y’all. Not to long ago I had little to no support at all other than my parents. I don’t take any of this for granted y’all. Thank you so much, I will work harder than I ever have and try to make y’all proud. Thank you so much to all my #hutchpuppies for being on this journey with me. God Bless! #americanidol

Do You Remember Your First Bible?

Do you remember the time when you received or purchased your first Bible? Can you imagine living in a country where Bibles were forbidden for over 70 years?

World Missions Alliance works in 20 nations, and in most of them, Bibles are either not available or are difficult to purchase. Today, in the 21st century, there are still people in the world who have never held a Bible.

Helen Todd, co-founder of World Missions Alliance, was one of them as she grew up in the former Soviet Union. She received Christ through a gospel tract smuggled into the country by missionaries and received her very first Bible five years later!

Moldova, a former Soviet Republic, is one of the nations where World Missions Alliance works. It is considered the poorest country in Europe. Poverty, human trafficking and hopelessness are what the Moldovan people face as their daily reality.

On one of our trips to Moldova, we handed a Bible to an elderly woman in a nursing home. She broke down in tears. She had dreamt of having one since she was a child and had given up hope.

A simple gospel tract changed Helen Todd’s life and destiny, imagine what you can do for someone by placing the Word of God into their hands.

Help us give hope and change lives in Moldova!
