Beware of These 9 Common Toxins That Subtly Destroy Your Body

You probably know that hormones play a vital role in regulating your physiology and promoting good health. But are you aware of the onslaught of synthetic chemicals in the modern environment that threaten the delicate balance of hormones in your body?

What Are Hormones?

Hormones are the signaling molecules of the endocrine system. The endocrine system refers to all of the glands of the body and the hormones produced by those glands. Glands are controlled by direct stimulation from the nervous system as well as by the chemical receptors in the blood and the corresponding hormones produced by other glands. The glands help to maintain the body’s homeostasis by regulating the functions of organs in the body. The functions affected include cellular metabolism, reproduction, sexual development, heart rate and digestion.

Endocrine Disruption

The endocrine system must manage a specific balance of hormones to be able to maintain homeostasis. Unfortunately, modern life has presented us with an onslaught of both natural and synthetic chemicals that disturb the proper balance of hormones in the body thus disrupting the proper functioning of the endocrine system. Symptoms of endocrine disruption are vast and vary depending on age, sex and environment. It is likely that most people living a modern lifestyle in an urban environment have some degree of hormonal imbalance.

In order to help you avoid the negative effects of hormonal imbalance, we have compiled a list of the top nine sources of endocrine disrupting chemicals.

Plastics

Plastics are often produced with endocrine disrupting ingredients such as the infamous BPA (bisphenol A). When foods are packaged in plastic, these endocrine disruptors may leach into the food. This becomes of particular concern when the plastics are heated. Often products that are prepared with heat are then packed in plastic before being allowed to cool. Additionally, many prepackaged products are transported without temperature control and can be exposed to high heat causing plasticizers to leach into your food. For this reason, it is best to limit consumption of foods packed in plastic.

Cans

As with plastic, many cans used for food packaging contain endocrine disrupting chemicals like BPA. Unfortunately, even “BPA free” cans contain other, often more, toxic chemicals. Again, prudence would suggest avoidance of most canned and prepackaged products as much as possible.

Receipts

Another very common source of BPA is the paper many stores use to print receipts. Touching BPA tainted paper is not as bad as eating BPA in your food, but BPA can still be absorbed by the skin. Additionally, once on the hands, the BPA can spread to whatever you touch including food that you eat. For this reason, it is best to reject receipts unless necessary and to always wash your hands after handling receipts.

Cleaning Products

Household cleaning products such as dish soap, laundry detergent, glass and surface cleaners, and many others, are riddled with endocrine disrupting chemicals. As an alternative, you can buy or make your own cleaners with safe, simple, and recognizable ingredients such as vinegar, castile soap, baking soda and essential oils.

Birth Control Pills

Birth control pills use synthetic forms of estrogen and progestin that can confuse the endocrine system and cause massive hormonal imbalance in the body. Opt for more natural forms of contraception such as lunaception.

Cosmetics

These products often contain endocrine disrupting phthalates. Despite the fact that it is well-recognized that the skin absorbs chemicals straight into the bloodstream, cosmetics are not held to the same (low) standards as food-grade products.

Fire Retardants

These are ubiquitous and nearly impossible to completely avoid. They are used to coat furniture and other consumer goods as a measure to prevent fires, despite the fact that they have proved to be relatively ineffective at achieving this aim. You can find new furniture such as couches that have not been treated with these chemicals.

Pesticides

This includes the toxic compounds atrazine as well as organophosphate compounds among others. Atrazine, used mainly on corn and sorghum, has been found to turn male frogs into female frogs who can lay viable eggs! Organophosphates are chemicals originally developed by the Nazis and are now used in agriculture to target the nervous system of insect pests. To avoid these and other poisonous pesticides, opt for organic produce whenever possible and always filter your tap water before consumption.

Soy Products

Soy is a source of phytoestrogens. A phytoestrogen is a plant based xenoestrogen. Xenoestrogens mimic estrogen in the body and can wreak havoc on hormonal balance. For this reason it is best to limit soy consumption and to always opt for organic soy. Fermented soy also may have less phytoestrogenic activity.

Balance Your Hormones!

By taking steps to avoid these toxic endocrine disruptors and by eating a healthy and balanced diet, you can lessen the likelihood of experiencing the symptoms of hormonal imbalance. It is unfortunate that these hazards exist in our modern world but luckily the information on how to protect ourselves is readily available. Hopefully this information empowers you to take control of the state of your endocrine system and hormonal balance. {eoa}

President Trump Makes a Historic Speech in Atlanta

Friday, President Donald Trump attended the National Rifle Association’s leadership forum held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga.

The president acknowledged the organization played a big role in his election last November, and promised it was something he has not forgotten. Saying they had his back in the election, he told the NRA leaders assembled for the event that he planned to have their back during his presidency, promising the uphold the Second Amendment’s protections.

The speech was historic, as Trump became the first sitting president since Ronald Reagan to address the NRA’s national convention. Here is the full transcript of his speech:

No one was more proud to be American than the beloved patriot—and you know who I’m talking about—we remember on gatherings like today, your former five-term president, the late Charlton Heston. How good was Charlton? And I remember Charlton, he was out there fighting when maybe a lot of people didn’t want to be fighting. He was out there for a long time. He was a great guy.

And it’s truly wonderful to be back in Atlanta, and back with my friends at the NRA. You are my friends, believe me. Perhaps some of you remember the last time we were all together. Remember that? We had a big crowd then, too. So we knew something was happening. But it was in the middle of a historic political year, and in the middle of a truly historic election. What fun that was—November 8. Wasn’t that a great evening? Do you remember that evening? Remember that?

Remember they were saying, “We have breaking news: Donald Trump has won the state of Michigan.” They go, “Michigan? How did that”—”Donald Trump has won the state of Wisconsin, whoa.” But earlier in the evening, remember, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, all the way up—we ran up the East Coast. And, you know, the Republicans have a tremendous disadvantage in the Electoral College, you know that. Tremendous disadvantage. And to run the whole East Coast, and then you go with Iowa and Ohio, and all of the different states. It was a great evening, one that a lot people will never forget—a lot of people. Not going to forget that evening.

And remember they said, “There is no path to 270.” For months, I was hearing that. You know, they’re trying to suppress the vote. So they keep saying it, so people say, you know, I really like Trump, he loves the Second Amendment, he loves the NRA; I love him, but let’s go to the movie because he can’t win. Because they’re trying to suppress the vote.

But they’d say—I mean, hundreds of times I heard, there is no—there’s no route. They’d say it, “There is no route to 270.” And we ended up with 306. So they were right: Not 270, 306. That was some evening. Big sports fans said that was the single-most exciting event they’ve ever seen. That includes Super Bowls and World Series and boxing matches. That was an exciting evening for all of us, and it meant a lot.

Only one candidate in the General Election came to speak to you, and that candidate is now the President of the United States, standing before you again. I have a feeling that in the next election you’re going to be swamped with candidates, but you’re not going to be wasting your time. You’ll have plenty of those Democrats coming over and you’re going to say, no, sir, no thank you—no, ma’am. Perhaps ma’am. It may be Pocahontas, remember that. And she is not big for the NRA, that I can tell you.

But you came through for me, and I am going to come through for you. I was proud to receive the NRA’s earliest endorsement in the history of the organization. And today, I am also proud to be the first sitting president to address the NRA Leadership Forum since our wonderful Ronald Reagan in 1983. And I want to thank each and every one of you not only for your help electing true friends of the Second Amendment, but for everything you do to defend our flag and our freedom.

With your activism, you helped to safeguard the freedoms of our soldiers who have bled and died for us on the battlefields. And I know we have many veterans in the audience today, and we want to give them a big, big beautiful round of applause.

And, like I promised, we are doing a really top job already—99 days—but already with the Veterans Administration, people are seeing a big difference. We are working really hard at the VA, and you’re going to see it, and you’re already seeing it. And it’s my honor. I’ve been telling you we’re going to do it, and we’re doing it. Thank you.

The NRA protects in our capitols and legislative houses the freedoms that our servicemembers have won for us on those incredible battlefields. And it’s been a tough fight against those who would go so far as to ban private gun ownership entirely. But I am here to deliver you good news. And I can tell you that Wayne and Chris have been fighting with me long and hard to make sure that we were with you today, not somebody else with an empty podium. Because believe me, the podium would have been empty. They fought long and hard, and I think you folks cannot thank them enough. They were with us all the way, right from the beginning.

But we have news that you’ve been waiting for for a long time: The eight-year assault on your Second Amendment freedoms has come to a crashing end. You have a true friend and champion in the White House. No longer will federal agencies be coming after law-abiding gun owners. No longer will the government be trying to undermine your rights and your freedoms as Americans. Instead, we will work with you, by your side. We will work with the NRA to promote responsible gun ownership, to protect our wonderful hunters and their access to the very beautiful outdoors. You met my son—I can tell you, both sons, they love the outdoors. Frankly, I think they love the outdoors more than they love, by a long shot, Fifth Avenue. But that’s okay. And we want to ensure you of the sacred right of self-defense for all of our citizens.

When I spoke to this forum last year, our nation was still mourning the loss of a giant, a great defender of the Constitution: Justice Antonin Scalia. I promised that if elected, I would nominate a justice who would be faithful and loyal to the Constitution. I even went one step further and publicly presented a list of 20 judges from which I would make my selection, and that’s exactly what we did.

And, by the way, I want to thank, really, Heritage. And I want to thank also all of the people that worked with us. Where’s Leo? Is Leo around here? Where is he? He’s got to be here. Where is he? He has been so good. And also from Heritage, Jim DeMint. It’s been amazing. I mean, those people have been fantastic. They’ve been real friends. The Federalist people—where are they? Are they around here someplace? They really helped us out.

I kept my promise, and now, with your help, our brand-new justice—and he is really something very special—Neil Gorsuch, sits on the bench of the United States Supreme Court. For the first time in the modern political era, we have confirmed a new justice in the first 100 days. The last time that happened was 136 years ago, in 1881. Now, we won’t get any credit for this, but don’t worry about it, the credit is in the audience, right? The credit is in the audience. All of those people. They won’t give us credit, but it’s been a long time, and we’re very honored.

We’ve also taken action to stand up for America’s sportsmen. On their very last full day in office, the previous administration issued an 11th-hour rule to restrict the use of lead ammunition on certain federal lands. Have you heard about that, folks? I’m shocked to hear that. You’ve all heard about that. You’ve heard about that. On his first day as Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke eliminated the previous administration’s ammunition ban. He’s going to be great. Ryan is going to be great.

We’ve also moved very quickly to restore something gun owners care about very, very much. It’s called the rule of law. We have made clear that our administration will always stand with the incredible men and women of law enforcement. In fact, countless members of law enforcement are also members of the NRA, because our police know that responsible gun ownership saves lives, and that the right of self-defense is essential to public safety. Do we all agree with that?

Our police and sheriffs also know that when you ban guns, only the criminals will be armed. For too long, Washington has gone after law-abiding gun owners while making life easier for criminals, drug dealers, traffickers and gang members. MS-13—you know about MS-13? It’s not pleasant for them anymore, folks. It’s not pleasant for them anymore. That’s a bad group. Not pleasant for MS-13. Get them the hell out of here, right? Get them out.

We are protecting the freedoms of law-abiding Americans, and we are going after the criminal gangs and cartels that prey on our innocent citizens. And we are really going after them.

As members of the NRA know well, some of the most important decisions a President can make are appointments—and I’ve appointed people who believe in law, order, and justice.

That is why I have selected as your attorney general, No. 1, a really fine person, a really good man, a man who has spent his career fighting crime, supporting the police, and defending the Second Amendment. For the first time in a long time, you now have a pro-Second-Amendment, tough-on-crime attorney general, and his name is Jeff Sessions.

And attorney general Sessions is putting our priorities into action. He’s going after the drug dealers who are peddling their poison all over our streets and destroying our youth. He’s going after the gang members who threaten our children. And he’s fully enforcing our immigration laws in all 50 states. And you know what? It’s about time.

Heading up the effort to secure America’s borders is a great military general, a man of action: [Secretary of Homeland Security] John Kelly.

Secretary Kelly, who used to be General Kelly, is following through on my pledge to protect the borders, remove criminal aliens and stop the drugs from pouring into our country. We’ve already seen—listen to this; it never happened before, people can’t even believe it. And, by the way, we will build the wall no matter how low this number gets or how this goes. Don’t even think about it. Don’t even think about it.

You know, they’re trying to use this number against us because we’ve done so unbelievably at the borders already. They’re trying to use it against us. But you need that wall to stop the human trafficking, to stop the drugs, to stop the wrong people. You need the wall. But listen to this: We’ve already seen a 73 percent decrease—never happened before—in illegal immigration on the southern border since my election—73 percent.

You see what they’re doing, right? So why do you need a wall? We need a wall.

Audience Member: Build the wall!

The President: We’ll build the wall. Don’t even think about it. Don’t even think about it. Don’t even think about it. That’s an easy one. We’re going to build the wall. We need the wall.

I said to General Kelly, how important is it? He said, very important. It’s that final element. We need the wall. And it’s a wall in certain areas. Obviously, where you have these massive physical structures you don’t need, and we have certain big rivers and all. But we need a wall, and we’re going to get that wall.

And the world is getting the message. They know that our border is no longer open to illegal immigration, and that if you try to break in, you’ll be caught and you’ll be returned to your home. You’re not staying any longer. And if you keep coming back illegally after deportation, you will be arrested, prosecuted, and you will put behind bars. Otherwise it will never end.

Let’s also remember that immigration security is national security. We’ve seen the attacks from 9/11 to Boston to San Bernardino. Hundreds of individuals from other countries have been charged with terrorism-related offenses in the United States.

We spend billions and billions of dollars on security all over the world, but then we allow radical Islamic terrorists to enter right through our front door. That’s not going to happen anymore. It’s time to get tough. It’s time we finally got smart. And yes, it’s also time to put America first.

And perhaps—I see all of those beautiful red and white hats—but we will never forget our favorite slogan of them all: Make America Great Again. All right?

Keeping our communities safe and protecting our freedoms also requires the cooperation of our state leaders. We have some incredible pro-Second Amendment governors here at the NRA conference, including Governor Scott of Florida. Where is Governor Scott? Great guy doing a great job. Governor Bryant of Mississippi. What a wonderful place. Governor Bryant is here. Thank you. Governor Deal of Georgia. And we’re also joined by two people that—well, one I loved right from the beginning; the other one I really liked, didn’t like, and now like a lot again. Does that make sense? Senator David Perdue—he was from the beginning—and Senator Ted Cruz—like, dislike, like. Where are they? Good guys. Good guys. Smart cookies.

Each of these leaders knows that public officials must serve under the Constitution, not above it. We all took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States—and that means defending the Second Amendment.

So let me make a simple promise to every one of the freedom-loving Americans in the audience today: As your president, I will never, ever infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Never ever. Freedom is not a gift from government. Freedom is a gift from God.

It was this conviction that stirred the heart of a great American patriot on that day, April, 242 years ago. It was the day that Paul Revere spread his Lexington alarm—the famous warning that “the British are coming, the British are coming.” Right? You’ve all heard that, right? The British are coming.

Now we have other people trying to come, but believe me, they’re not going to be successful. That I can tell you. Nothing changes, right, folks? Nothing changes. They are not going to be successful. There will be serious hurt on them, not on us.

Next, came the shot heard around the world, and then a rag-tag army of God-fearing farmers, frontiersmen, shopkeepers, merchants that stood up to the most powerful army at that time on Earth. The most powerful army on earth. But we sometimes forget what inspired those everyday farmers and workers in that great war for independence.

Many years after the war, a young man asked Captain Levi Preston, aged 91, why he’d fought alongside his neighbors at Concord. Was it the Stamp Act? Was it the Tea Tax? Was it a work of philosophy? “No,” the old veteran replied. “Then why?” he was asked. “Young man,” the captain said, “what we meant in going for those Redcoats was this: We always had governed ourselves, and we always meant to” govern ourselves.

Captain Preston’s words are a reminder of what this organization and my administration are all about: the right of a sovereign people to govern their own affairs and govern them properly. We don’t want any longer to be ruled by the bureaucrats in Washington, or in any other country for that matter. In America, we are ruled by our citizens. We are ruled by each and every one of you.

But we can’t be complacent. These are dangerous times. These are horrible times for certain obvious reasons. But we’re going to make them great times again. Every day, we are up against those who would take away our freedoms, restrict our liberties and even those who want to abolish the Second Amendment. We must be vigilant. And I know you are all up to the task.

Since the first generation of Americans stood strong at Concord, each generation to follow has answered the call to defend freedom in their time. That is why we are here today: To defend freedom for our children. To defend the liberty of all Americans. And to defend the right of a free and sovereign people to keep and bear arms.

I greatly appreciated your support on November 8th, in what will hopefully be one of the most important and positive elections for the United States of all time. And to the NRA, I can proudly say I will never, ever let you down.

Thank you. God bless you. God bless our Constitution and God bless America. Thank you very much. {eoa}

This Heart-Wrecking Revelation Makes You Unshakable in Life’s Storms

Life can sneak up on us with shakings that leave us scared stiff, or at the very least, overwhelmed. Pressures swell to deafening levels with all the storms and stresses of life. Bills rise. Bodies break. Losses wound. Relationships fail. And on top of these personal shakings, the world is filled with trouble, with more instability than ever and a storm on the horizon that Jesus said would only increase as His return draws near (John 16:33, Matt. 24:3–14).

Do you presently have a storm you’re facing? Do you find yourself in the midst of a shaking that is forcing desperate questions? How do I hold on? Can I bear another blow? Will I make it through?

The Lord has an answer for us in these anxious times, and it may surprise us. He wants to stabilize us in every storm by first undoing us at the heart level with His beauty and with His love.

The most unshakable people alive are those that have been most wrecked by Jesus—those who have been most undone by His love and most riveted by His beauty. Gut-level circumstances must be answered with gut-level revelation of Jesus. We will only be immovable when we have first been moved deeply by Him.

Wrecked by Love

In Ephesians 3:16–19, Paul prayed for a strengthening with might in the inner man—a rooting and grounding in the love of Christ that gives strength to comprehend the breadth, length, height and depth of Jesus’ love. Paul tied the revelation and experience of the love of Christ to stability of soul. Inward strength is knit to rooted affections in Christ Jesus. Thus, we cannot exaggerate the power of being overcome by His superior love as the way to becoming steadfast in all the distresses of life.

It is common for us to attempt to be unshakeable before being wrecked by the affections of Christ. Jesus knew that that the order was opposite. Peter—after boasting of his willingness to die for Jesus—denied the Lord three times in a critical moment. Yet, after the scandalous forgiveness and tenderness of Jesus leveled him, he became the rock (John 21:17).

John started as a brash and self-absorbed son of thunder, but he became the apostle of love after he stood before the piercing affection of Jesus, exhibited on the cross. In the wake of that love, he never recovered (John 13:1; 19:25-37). Paul the apostle, though first plotting against the believers of Christ, was encountered by the man Christ Jesus and became a devoted bondservant, so wholly compelled by love for Christ that he counted all else as rubbish in comparison (Phil. 3:8).

The pattern we see in Scripture is clear: first we must get in the way of Jesus’ fierce love for us, making our hearts vulnerable to His affection, then we will be strengthened like a rooted tree and a firm foundation—our own love for Him made strong and burning (Eph. 3:16-19; 1 John 4:19).

Heart-Wrecking Revelation

So how do we position ourselves for conquered affections? One of the ways that the Lord wants to do this is as we behold Him as the Bridegroom. For me, nothing has been more revolutionary to my inner life than understanding and experiencing the affection of Jesus the Bridegroom.

When I was 20 years old, I experienced this love in a way that absolutely undid me and I’ve never recovered. Week after week—for 20 sessions in a row—I sat as a young Bible school student, hearing teachings from the Song of Solomon about the tender affection of Jesus the Bridegroom. Though I had loved the Lord all my life, this was totally new to me. The idea that the Lord would say over me, “You have ravished My heart, My sister, My bride … with one glance of your eyes” (Song 4:9, MEV), rattled me to the core. It exposed and disrupted so many things in me—my wrong conclusions about how the Lord felt toward me and my false confidence in my own performance.

I was confronted with a God who delighted in me, who was tender with me in my weakness, and who was moved by my responses to Him. I was undone by how He redeemed me while I was far off and His enemy and by the understanding of His jealousy—of His full intention to take my immature sincerity and bring it forth into shining, holy love for Himself (Eph. 5:27; 1 Thess. 3:13). I could hardly conceive of how He could be so moved by my love for Him, though it was yet immature. “Jesus,” I would weep, “how are You so moved by my weak heart?”

The revelation of Jesus the Bridegroom has to be the most heart-wrecking identity of Jesus. It’s meddling. It’s invasive. It’s indelible. Just like the marriage relationship gets into every space, the revelation of the Lord as the Bridegroom gets to parts of us like nothing else. It gets underneath the hard-to-reach areas of fear and shame and condemnation and fills them with the light and truth of the Gospel.

When we consider the cross—the pinnacle moment of God’s love demonstrated—as the Bridegroom giving His life in death for a wayward bride, Jew and Gentile, deep places in our hearts get accessed and exposed. When we see ourselves as Gomer and Him as the greater Hosea who gave His life to buy us back from our harlotry, we’re pierced to the heart by His holy love and His desire that we would be wholly His. Nothing is so compelling as the revelation of the Lord’s heart, calling us back to Himself. As one of my favorite songs voices, the Lord beckons us:

I want your heart. I want it all./Not just a part. I want the whole./I’ve given up everything—given you all of Me.

Would you open your heart again?/Would you open your heart to Me?/Just look at My nail-pierced hands,

Put yours in My wounded side./I’m asking for all your heart ’cause/I’ve given you all of Mine.

—I want Your Heart by Jon Thurlow

Vulnerability Becoming Stability

When this love of Christ touched me so deeply, I honestly had no idea it would turn out to be the single most stabilizing revelation of my life—the source I would return to countless times over in moments of pain or trouble. And though I am certain many shakings lie yet ahead, I believe what Corrie Ten Boom assured: “There is no pit so deep that His love is not deeper still.”

Have you made yourself vulnerable to this tenacious love? Have you been overcome by the way He receives and takes personal your love? I believe this is when tears come. The one who is forgiven much loves much and when we begin to receive His love deeply and personally—not just as a truth we give intellectual assent to, but as a lifeline that’s laid hold of us, a tenderness pervades our souls (Luke 7:47). An ache to respond to Him with holy abandonment through any adversity we may face grips our hearts.

No matter the storm we find ourselves in, we are to open wide our hearts to Him and to His Word, continually allowing Him access to every space. Wherever we are pierced and cut through by His love—wherever His tender affection has prevailed over our striving, our condemnation, our fears and our resistance to Him—there we will be strong. Wherever His beauty—unlike any other—has ruined us for lesser things, there we will be steadfast (Psalm 45:2; Song 5:10). Troubles will come. Shakings will sift. Yet the Lord is bringing forth—both today and ultimately—a radiant church, overcome with love for Himself and more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Eph. 5:27; Rom. 8:37; Rev. 19:7)). To be wrecked by the love of Jesus is to be unshakable.

Have you experienced this heart-wrecking love of Jesus? How has it stabilized you? {eoa}

Prophecy for Women of God: “Prophet-Daughters: Arise and Emerge!”

Outpouring is incomplete and partial until the daughters of God take their place.

And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy (Acts 2:17).

All flesh. Not just sons and male servants. Sons and daughters. We don’t have a complete manifestation of Holy Spirit outpouring without the visible emergence of God’s daughter-prophets. This is the time for women of faith to arise, emerge and boldly declare the Word of the Lord!

Supernatural Influence for the Daughters

The Lord wants to entrust you with supernatural influence. He is going to use you to “influence the influential.” Yours will be a voice with more influence than the actual influencer—because your voice, anointed by His voice, is what influences the one whose influence shapes movements.

These prophet-daughters being moms. Wives. Very normal people with normal lives. I see you cleaning spaghetti off your kids, taking care of your households, working jobs—the “everyday” things that are often considered mundane will be the very things the Lord uses to create an infrastructure in your life to steward the high level of influence He desires to entrust you with. Every time you clean a dirty diaper, you may not feel like a prophet to the nations, but the Lord would say that this level of service to your family is what sustains a humility and down-to-earthness that is essential in this hour. This realness will connect you with the next generation that craves your influence.

A Womb That Births Revival and Outpouring

As we move closer to the conclusive move of God, the voice of the daughter-prophets will be essential to the sons.

The Lord is calling forth His women out of hiding in the women’s conference circuit and into the church as a whole.

I see men holding women in greater levels of honor and respect ever before, as there is something a woman can do that a man cannot—and even if he could do it, truly, I don’t believe he would have the nerve or strength to go through with it. Give birth.

For the Lord would say, I am calling forth my daughter-prophets in this hour to show the sons how to give birth in the spirit.

One thing this generation knows little about is birthing in the spirit. Contending. Tarrying. Travailing. “Praying Through.”

We have a generation operating in the measure of the Spirit’s power—healing, prophecy, power evangelism, etc. I celebrate this, but I refuse to put a ceiling on it and call it the ultimate move of God. I’m crying out for the Welsh Revival that transforms a country. I’m asking for an Azusa that births an unstoppable movement. I’m contending for a Great Awakening that revives the church and reforms the planet. I truly celebrate what we carry with the Holy Spirit and what we are presently seeing released—but I am also contending for more!

The daughter prophets will emerge in this hour with a word on birthing revival that breaks the ceiling of complacency in the church.

They will release burning words that send men to their knees, contending for the full inheritance of outpouring they have neglected due to lazy theology. I see the daughter prophets releasing words that birth the spirit of tarrying that ultimately ushers in the revival that never ends, where we fully pick up where Pentecost left of and step into greater realms of Kingdom increase and advancement.

Calling for the Young Women—Teens and 20s

I see the daughter-prophets in their 30s releasing words over young women in their teens and 20s that call them out of the world and summon them into their destinies and mantles.

The Lord says, “Religion’s response to sin will not compel a generation to pursue me passionately. “Don’t do this,” “Don’t date him,” “Don’t watch/listen to that,” is simply not enough. They need to have a vision—not of what they are being told to leave behind—but a clear view of the assignment they are being called into. I am calling My daughters to turn from sin toward their prophetic destiny to shape nations, release kingdom innovation, operate in signs and wonders, receive creative strategies from heaven, see into the spirit realm, dream dreams, experience visions and visitations and take their place as My mouthpiece.”

Prophet-daughters, your words will call forth a generation of Kathryn Kuhlmans, Marie Woodworth-Etters and Aimee Semple-McPhersons. In previous generations, these dynamic women were few and far between. But because of the assignment upon you, you will release a vision of what’s possible for every woman filled with the Holy Spirit. You will release a vision to the next generation that will be superior to sin and more compelling than worldly compromise.

Daughter-prophets, you are called to share testimonies of these great women of God who were never meant to be the exception, but the blueprint. You are meant to call forth the next generation of preachers, prophets and miracle-workers, doctors and lawyers, singers and songwriters, artists and dancers, innovators and entrepreneurs. What’s the missing link?  The next generation needs to hear that it’s possible.

Generational Alignment

The Lord is calling forth previous generations to come into alignment with this emerging generation: “You are not simply coming alongside young women to serve as champions and mentors—your assignment goes even further. When you come into alignment with what I am doing in the present generation, it’s not just about My people, it’s about My purpose.”

Consider the prophetic pioneers of the faith, both the visible and hidden. Both have equal standing in heaven. There are names you know, but there are also those you don’t know who are equally as known in heaven as the more famous ones.

All of these women forerunners did two key things: they prayed and prophesied. They prayed for a day when both the sons and daughters could fulfill their assignments in revival together, but their lives, their courage and their boldness prophesied of what would be possible for all daughters of God to step into.

Arise and Emerge, Daughter-Prophets!

Daughter-prophets: arise and emerge! It’s time for you to arise, embrace this calling and assignment, and it is time for you to emerge. This means you take everyday, little steps towards fulfilling this assignment.

Don’t despise the un-glamorous steps along the journey, for the very generation that’s waiting on you is not looking for glamour. They don’t want a spiritual show. They want authenticity. They want real. They want diapers and disappointment. They want to hear about the breakthrough and breakdown. They want the pure, the real.

I prophesy, the very thing that will call forth an army of anointed, dynamic Kathryn Kuhlmans will be the 30-year old mom-wife who shows, through her everyday life, that any woman willing to say an unqualified “Yes” to Jesus can steward a mantle that ushers in Holy Spirit outpouring and reforms nations. {eoa}

Operation Rescue: Keep Your Promise Speaker Ryan

In the face of an unprecedented effort to rollback abortion and to completely defund the nation’s largest abortionist organization, the biggest obstacle to success have been congressional Republicans who, despite campaigning on a promise to “defund” Planned Parenthood, have failed to follow through.

Friday afternoon, Operation Rescue announced it was urging Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) to “keep his promise” by announcing the new continuing resolution that will keep the federal government operating will completely remove all funding to the abortion giant. Operation Rescue President Troy Newman sent a letter to the speaker, and is urging other pro-life Americans to reach out to him, as well.

Newman added urgency to his plea, noting that Operation Rescue has documented 42 medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood abortion facilities since January 2016 that have required ambulance transport of patients to hospitals for treatment that Planned Parenthood was not equipped to provide.

“It is important to note that our list is not comprehensive,” he wrote. “The actual number of women injured at Planned Parenthood abortion facilities is expected to be much higher.”

In the letter, Newman reminded the speaker of the death of Cree Erwin-Sheppard, who died due to a botched first-trimester abortion at the Planned Parenthood in Kalamazoo, Mich., last year. Referencing an autopsy that was performed on her body, he documented her injuries.

“Cree received a 4 cm full tissue perforation of her uterus, which caused internal bleeding,” he wrote. “She was sent home without having been treated or informed of this life-threatening injury. Cree’s brother, Tyler Sheppard, has since become involved in trying to expose the truth about the lack of skill and care Cree received at Planned Parenthood.”

Newman also mentioned the death of Tonya Reaves, who succumbed to a fatal abortion she received at a Chicago-area Planned Parenthood abortion facility in 2012.

“It is simply unconscionable for Federal tax money to continue to go to this organization that has caused so much human suffering and loss of life in violation of the moral consciences of the majority of U.S. citizens—not to mention the criminal conduct Planned Parenthood is accused of committing,” he wrote. “Planned Parenthood must be defunded in the next continuing resolution, in keeping with your promises. We can accept no more excuses for delay.”

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump added yet another pro-life evangelical Christian to the senior leadership of his administration. Dr. Charmaine Yoest, formerly the president of Americans United for Life, has been picked to serve as Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs at the Department of Health and Human Services, where she will replace Obama appointeed Kevin Griffis, who is now vice president of communications at Planned Parenthood.

Ironically, among the first to officially congratulate her on the appointment was Ryan, who tweeted:

Congrats to @CharmaineYoest on appointment as Asst Sec of @HHS. Yet again, this admin demonstrates strong commitment to the #prolife cause.
