Amazon Prime Video just announced that a 13-part Amazon original series about Hugh Hefner, the founder of the wicked Playboy empire, is about to be delivered right to your TV set or computer.

“We are excited to bring Prime members the untold story of Mr. Hefner’s remarkable life and his contributions to modern American history.” —Conrad Riggs, head of programming, Amazon Studios, quoted in Variety.

Can you or any moral American make a statement like that? 

Yes, Mr. Hefner has contributed to American history, but those contributions are corrupt and vile. Let’s remember that he single-handedly led the so-called sexual revolution, which normalized cohabitation and the “hook up culture” we now endure. His publishing opened the doors for the pornography epidemic that we are suffering from today when everyone from 12-year-old boys to grown men is addicted. And he even sponsored the lower-court cases that led to Roe v. Wade, which kills millions upon millions of children each year. Yes, Mr. Hefner has a legacy, but not one we want served up as entertainment!

There is a “growing threat” to U.S. national security brewing in Latin America, but the liberal mainstream media is either so preoccupied with the personal destruction of President Donald Trump that they have ignored it, or they’re engaged in willful blindness to the problem.

And we’re not talking about the spread of radical militant Catholicism.

According to a new report published by National Center for Policy Analysis Senior Fellow David Grantham, the spread of radical Islam in Central America and South America “remains an overlooked aspect of U.S. national security strategy.” He wrote:

The Process Began Decades Ago: Islamic extremists have used Latin America as a base of political and financial support since the immediate years preceding the formation of Israel in May 1948:

• • A handful of Arab officials and Arab-Palestinian sympathizers began fundraising efforts and circulated anti-Israeli literature throughout parts of Latin America not long after the first Arab-Israeli war (1948-1949).
  • As networks developed and diplomacy turned to violent activism, more militant groups moved in; for instance, in the 1960s, the Palestinian Liberation Organization used established networks to build its own base of support among guerrilla factions, local anti-Semitic organizations and Arab civic groups in Argentina.
  • Furthermore, the PLO and others also collaborated with rebels in Nicaragua in the 1970s and with the Cuban government in the 1973 Arab-Israeli conflict.

Aided by these local networks, Iran began settling its agents in Latin America in the early 1980s and operatives from Hezbollah—a militant Islamist group based in Lebanon and proxy force of Iran—soon followed.

Latin America Is Important for Relationships and Money: Today, international Islamists, especially Iran and Hezbollah, employ much more sophisticated fundraising and recruitment operations that reach far and wide. Former U.S. ambassador to the Organization of American States Roger Noriega told Congress in March 2012 that Iran now has 80 Hezbollah Islamist operatives in at least 12 Latin American nations—including Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina and Chile.

In fact, the U.S. Treasury Department froze the assets of Venezuelan Vice President Tareck El Aissami in February 2017 for his collaboration with drug organizations and terrorist groups such as Hezbollah.

Separately, author and senior Pentagon consultant Edward Luttwak describes the lawless tri-border region of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, 800 miles north of Buenos Aires, as the most important base for Hezbollah outside of its headquarters in Lebanon … The $6 billion-a-year illicit economy in this Hezbollah stronghold has allowed a variety of terrorist organizations to earn an estimated $10 million to $20 million a year from arms trafficking, counterfeiting and drug distribution, among other illegal activities.

Other studios are now following suit after Disney’s successful marketing ploy to get millions of people to talk about the new Beauty and the Beast movie by revealing a supposed “gay scene” in the movie. This revelation caused an uproar by many, but didn’t seem to hurt the movie financially, as it still ended up breaking records with a $174 million opening weekend. The old phrase “all press is good press” seemed to ring true for Disney, and now Lionsgate is following in their footsteps with the new Power Rangers reboot by revealing that one of the main characters is a lesbian.

Director of Power Rangers Dean Israelite discussed the character Trini and her sexuality with The Hollywood Reporter, stating, “For Trini, really she’s questioning a lot about who she is.” He references a scene in which Trini is asked by one of her fellow Power Rangers if she’s having “boyfriend problems,” and then immediately asks if she’s instead having “girlfriend problems.” Israelite considers this a “pivotal” point for the movie.

Last night, I attended a pre-screening of Power Rangers, and I was ready for this big revelation to play out on screen—except it never happened. Yes, the character questioning Trini asks if she’s having boyfriend and girlfriend problems, but Trini never responds to him and doesn’t confirm one way or another. The movie doesn’t feature a “coming out of the closet” scene, and it doesn’t end with her suddenly dancing with another woman in the finale. Progressives in Hollywood are truly grasping at straws if this is them “pushing the boundaries” and “making LGBTQI” history.

Now, if Power Rangers miraculously makes enough money to warrant a franchise, I wouldn’t doubt that they’d push the lines more, and possibly give Trini a girlfriend or someone to “crush on” in a future sequel. Even so, the fact of the matter is that if the director had said nothing about this, no one would have batted an eye, and the same could be argued for Beauty and the Beast. Even strict Islamic countries like Malaysia, which bans movies with homosexual content like 2015’s The Danish Girl and Bruno, originally banned Beauty and the Beast, but later agreed to allow it uncut, and has requested no cuts of Power Rangers.

We live in an age of headline publicity that can build or destroy, completely regardless of the facts and devoid of discernment. Earlier this year, controversy surrounded the release of the movie A Dog’s Purpose when a video leaked implying animal abuse on the set. The video that was leaked showed a dog struggling to stay above water and quickly garnered boycotts and angry protesters. The publicity was so bad that the red carpet Movieguide® was invited to attend in Los Angeles was canceled at the last minute. However, weeks later, a third-party investigation of the movie set concluded that the leaked video was manipulated, and that no animal abuse happened. Hardly anyone heard that the filmmakers behind A Dog’s Purpose were vindicated.

That said, it’s good to be aware of the ever-creeping agenda that a few in Hollywood are pushing. On the TV front, the LGBT themes are being pushed constantly, even in the superhero world, with all four of the CW’s DC Comics shows Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow featuring multiple gay characters, and multiple lesbian bedroom scenes. Many of us live in a progressive liberal culture, but for a director to say Power Rangers breaks ground is preposterous and reveals how desperate some studios are for tantalizing headlines. {eoa}

One of the key pieces of evidence Democrats keep trolling out to “prove” that Russia “hacked the election” and manipulated it in favor of President Donald Trump took a major hit recently.

Voice of America reported last week:

U.S. cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has revised and retracted statements it used to buttress claims of Russian hacking during last year’s American presidential election campaign. The shift followed a VOA report that the company misrepresented data published by an influential British think tank.

In December, CrowdStrike said it found evidence that Russians hacked into a Ukrainian artillery app, contributing to heavy losses of howitzers in Ukraine’s war with pro-Russian separatists.

VOA reported Tuesday that the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), which publishes an annual reference estimating the strength of world armed forces, disavowed the CrowdStrike report and said it had never been contacted by the company.

It also explained the relevance of these new developments:

CrowdStrike was first to link hacks of Democratic Party computers to Russian actors last year, but some cybersecurity experts have questioned its evidence. The company has come under fire from some Republicans who say charges of Kremlin meddling in the election are overblown.

After CrowdStrike released its Ukraine report, company co-founder Dmitri Alperovitch claimed it provided added evidence of Russian election interference. In both hacks, he said, the company found malware used by “Fancy Bear,” a group with ties to Russian intelligence agencies.

Here’s the really fishy part. CrowdStrike is the only organization that has investigated the hacking of the DNC’s computer network. It refused to allow the FBI to have access to its systems to independently verify CrowdStrike’s assessment, and ultimately was forced to accept that report as a matter of fact in its own investigation of “Russiagate.”

But if this key piece of evidence was largely fabricated, how much veracity can you put into any of CrowdStrike’s other claims? {eoa}

On March 20, the first day of spring, the sun will enter the constellation Pisces (the fish).

Pisces (the fish) is the seventh chapter of The Star Bible, picturing two fish tied together in unity, and representing the joining of the Jewish and Gentile believers to form the church. The other constellations associated with Pisces include Cephus (the crowned king), representing the ascension of Christ to heaven as ruler during the church age, and Andromeda (the chained woman), representing the suffering of the Jewish people who rejected Christ.

The symbols of the fish in the sky show the development of the church, with the first picture of a fish shown being the tail of a fish attached to a goat in the constellation Capricornus (the goat), as if being born out of the death of the scapegoat, Christ. Associated with Capricornus is the dolphin of the constellation Delphinus, symbolizing the resurrection of Christ, showing Christ as the first-born with the new life. The single fish of Pisces Austranus is shown receiving the water of the Holy Spirit from the outpouring constellation of Aquarius (the water pourer). The water, entering through the star Formalhaut in the mouth of the fish, shows the Pentecostal sign of speaking in tongues. Pisces Austranus represents the church at Pentecost, which was then composed only of Jewish followers of the Christ. The addition of the Gentiles, the second fish of Pisces, makes the church complete. It is no accident that the most recognized sign of the early church was the fish.

Pisces first moved into the spring season in 6 B.C., the year that the birth of Christ, the seed of woman (Genesis 3:15), was announced to Mary. It was one of the signs in the sun, moon and stars which heralded Christ’s advent, and it marked the beginning of the church age. In A.D. 2121, Pisces moves out of the spring season to be replaced by Aquarius (the water pourer), a sign of Christ’s return in the sun, moon and stars and a reminder that the church age will be followed by Christ’s earthly government from Jerusalem and the living waters flowing out of the temple bringing swarms of fish (Ezek. 47:1-12).       

Some of the stars of Pisces and its related constellations will be visible with binoculars along the horizon after sunset, starting with Pisces in the west, Andromeda in the northwest, and Cephus in the north. As an extra bonus, the planet Venus, representing the seed of woman, will be located in Pisces and will be visible for the next week both in the morning and the evening, a phenomenon which occurs once every eight years.

And if some passerby is curious about why you are searching the horizon with your binoculars, you can tell them the celestial fish story and urge them to swim into God’s church before it is too late. {eoa}

The Instagram post, Lentz says, shows two of the men he loves, as defined by 1 Corinthians 13 in the Message paraphrase:

Lentz also issues an admonishment, though. 

“If somebody says they “love you” but you don’t SEE THESE THINGS? Gaurd [sic] your heart! If you have experienced love like this? Best thing you can ever do, is share it w/ as many people as you can,” he writes.

Following Thursday’s vote in the Senate to adopt a resolution of disapproval, proposing to wipe away an Obama administration rule that required states to provide Title X funding to abortion providers—mainly Planned Parenthood—Family Research Council president Tony Perkins issued the following statement:

I applaud the Congress and President Trump for working together to restore a culture of life in America. Every state should be free to decide how it spends its dollars—especially if they’re choosing positive alternatives to the ‘abortion-as-health-care’ model. Obama’s HHS rule on Title X is an executive overreach and a handout to the abortion industry that has no basis in law.

Planned Parenthood’s political arm spent more than $38 million in this past November’s election. An organization that directly receives taxpayer funding should not be able to spend money to influence the outcome of elections. Furthermore, Planned Parenthood and its allies have been repeatedly exposed in their horrifying trafficking of aborted babies’ tissues and organs. As a nation, we are without excuse in subsidizing Planned Parenthood’s gruesome trafficking of baby body parts and its inhumane treatment of mothers and their unborn children.

I am grateful to Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and U.S. Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) for their leadership on passing the first pro-life legislation in this new Congress. We now call on Congress to take the next step to end the forced partnership between taxpayers and a group that exalts cash over care.

FRC had issued an “action alert” prior to the vote to get its supporters to urge their senators to vote in favor of the measure. Ultimately, Vice President Mike Pence broke a 50-50 tie to ensure the resolution would be adopted.

Title X is a federal grant program that provides funds for family planning services through the state Medicaid programs. Under the Congressional Review Act, Congress has 60 legislative days to overturn agency rules like this one, and it requires only 51 votes in the Senate.

Many states have passed laws to exclude such funds from going to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood, realizing that money is fungible—that it can be swapped around to pay for things it was never intended to pay for. When Planned Parenthood or other abortion clinics receive Title X family planning funding, it frees resources for them to spend more on abortion, even though the Title X law itself prevents funds from being used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning. {eoa}

When I was in my junior high years, we lived in the small town of Sherrill, New York, on a street with nine guys within a year of each other in age. We had a lot of fun and got into some innocent trouble together. A great time in life!

I recall one night hanging out in the Swan boys’ backyard, trying to think of something fun to do. They had a two-tiered yard with a small hedge between the two levels of ground. We got the idea of running at the hedges, jumping over them, and landing on the ground beyond—a drop of about 3 feet. From the point of leaping over the hedge to the bottom of the drop off was about 5 feet. We had fun doing this a number of times. But then the inevitable happened.

One time when I ran toward the hedge (probably getting a little tired and sloppy), I did not jump quite high enough. My foot caught the hedge. Rather than falling feetfirst, I landed with a thud directly on my chest and stomach. The wind got knocked out of me and I could not breathe. I still remember that awful feeling of lying there trying to gasp for air—any air. I thought I was going to die.

Of course, I eventually caught my breath. All was well until another day of shenanigans.

Catch a Breath and Pray 

I have recently found myself praying with the wind knocked out of me. You know those times. It’s when things are not going well and you’re attacked on every side. Every little thing goes wrong, and you feel like you can’t catch a break (or a breath).

How do you pray and walk in faith during those seasons? How can you pray in a way that allows you to catch your breath, get up, and move forward? 

Some people would advocate praying the Psalms during this time. Nothing wrong with that remedy. But for me, in this situation I go to a passage from one of Paul’s letters: 

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let everyone come to know your gentleness. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things (Phil. 4:4-8). 

Just as I had to force myself to try to breathe when I got the wind knocked out of me, I force myself in these challenging times to rejoice. I think of the good things I have, the things that are going well—and I begin to praise Jesus for those things. It is amazing how this simple practice can fill your spiritual lungs with air again. Friday morning, WikiLeaks released the third of its “Vault 7” data and document dumps related to CIA hacking.

This latest drop, codenamed “Marble,” features 676 source code files for the CIA’s secret anti-forensic Marble Framework, which was used to hamper forensic investigators and anti-virus companies from attributing viruses, Trojans and hacking attacks to the CIA. It did this by hiding fragments of text used in its malware from visual inspection.

“This is the digital equivalent of a specialized CIA tool to place covers over the English-language text on weapons systems before giving them to insurgents secretly backed by the CIA,” the anti-secrecy group stated in a press release announcing the drop. “Marble forms part of the CIA’s anti-forensics approach and the CIA’s Core Library of malware code. It is ‘[D]esigned to allow for flexible and easy-to-use obfuscation” as “string obfuscation algorithms (especially those that are unique) are often used to link malware to a specific developer or development shop.'”

WikiLeaks claims the Marble source code also includes a “deobfuscator” to reverse the hidden text. This, along with other revealed techniques, patterns and signatures, can be used by forensic investigators to correctly attribute previous hacking attacks and viruses to the CIA.

According to the group’s statement, the U.S. spy agency can make the attacks appear to be Russian, Chinese, North Korean, Saudi Arabian or Iranian.

“This would permit a forensic attribution double game, for example by pretending that the spoken language of the malware creator was not American English, but Chinese, but then showing attempts to conceal the use of Chinese, drawing forensic investigators even more strongly to the wrong conclusion, but there are other possibilities, such as hiding fake error messages,” it stated. “The Marble Framework is used for obfuscation only and does not contain any vulnerabilties or exploits by itself.”

This latest release follows the group’s second release, codenamed “Dark Matter,” by a little more than a week. In that statement, the group exposed how the CIA has infected Apple Mac firmware used on both computers and smartphones since at least 2008. {eoa}

A new children’s book will depict Santa Claus as a married gay man.  

Daniel Kibblesmith, a staff writer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, is behind Santa’s Husband, to be published by HarperCollins come October.  Kibblesmith says he will tell his future children Santa is black. “If they see a white one, we’ll say ‘That’s his husband,'” Kibblesmith said.

The picture book depicts a black Santa Claus and his white husband who both live in the North Pole. Santa’s spouse frequently fills in for his husband at malls, Time reports.  

Though HarperCollins says the book is for all ages, many parents are livid at the pushed agenda.  

“Does this not seem a tad inappropriate for children? Is it supposed to be funny? Campy? An attempt to lecture the kiddies about homosexuality … at Christmastime? What’s next? Gender-bending Santas?” Debra Heine writes for PJ Media.  

Cultural commentator Michael Snyder listed it as his No. 1 sign in his article, “12 Signs That America Is a Politically Correct Madhouse.”
